@urban_idler I find much of what you said thoughtful and insightful. I am looking for a good, solid altcoin to invest my time/$ into, so as for my issue with the "robbed" claim I made, it goes against all the I believe in for any coin that claims to be a decentralized coin to do certain things. Among those things is to remove any, and all, choice from the community about who pays what to whom and for anyone to take x% off the top of a block reward of a solo miner. I have not, as of yet, decided how much time, labor, and/or $ I will invest in CrownCoin; however, even if I go all-in, I will not waiver from those 2 core beliefs. From my perspective taking a mandatory 50% off the top is a kin to being a reverse Robin Hood (taking from the poor and giving it to the rich); even the Church only demands 10% ( ). Fair enough I can respect that, also gives me something to think about... My veiw on the % is that full nodes provide just as much value/security to the network as mining does, so why not split it 50/50.

Hi,
are throne payouts normally pretty consistent? I set up 3 thrones and all were walking normally, payouts coming pretty regularly (roughly every 7 hours per throne), then I added a 4th yesterday and although everything looks fine (when running thrones start-all and throne list), I haven't had a payout from any of them since then (about 24 hours).
Any ideas what I might have done wrong, if anything? Not sure if it makes any difference but the bit on the end of the txid was 0 on throne 1, 1 on thrones 2 & 3 and 0 again on the 4th.
Cheers!
Sometimes It can take longer than 24hours for the first payment to come through. Does your throne show enabled status inside your wallet? If so, I can pretty much guarantee the throne is fine, just need to be patient

I think that my favorite aspect of this project is the perceptibly dynamic nature of the development team. It's not a static vision by a central figure, but a group of people who seemingly share fundamental core beliefs and are willing to adapt and evolve as well as incorporate new technologies to bring these fundamental ideas to fruition. I enjoy the white papers for their substance even if they are a bit opaque, but love the enthusiasm behind them. I'd strongly encourage others to give them a read if they have not done so already.
You really hit the nail on the head. A shared language/philosophy between the core team is very important to us, on which infrastructure will be built around. The Crown papers are opaque on purpose, as our destination is understood, how to get there is another story and we didn't want to let on to our ideas and how to implement them. Everything is coming clearer by the day and the team should have some very interesting documentation to release to the public, in the coming weeks.

I must have a config error, my node starts like normal, but go missing within one hour or less. This is the only masternode i run with this problem, anyone else experienced the same??
IW
Hi This normally happens when your Throne server isn't contactable. Are you running it on a VPS? No, its on a local machine where other masternodes also is running. Since i only run one masternode of crown (for now) should i skip using the throne.conf and only use the "normal" conf?? IW You can only host one Throne per IP address, if thats any help

Crown update 14.3.2017We would like to post a little update so the community knows what is currently going on. The dev team is has currently started to work on slimming the Crown code and make Trons become the most important aspect of the Crown project as was outlined in the papers. This work is led by urban_idler, chaositec and infernoman. In Dash (as it is now) the capacity of masternodes is really there to mix coins for darksend. The Crown Platform looks at the compute capacity available on the trons as the "server layer" of a network. So the idea would ultimately be to be able to do a lot of what one would do with a server, but to be able to do this with what is currently around 400 GB+ of RAM on trons and probably around roughly 8 TB of storage... the trons provide compute capacity to the network. This compute capacity is currently "paid for" by block rewards -- but one can imagine using it to offer services which users would pay for and having CRW integrated as the payment method. The Trons themselves could add capacity to the network if there were demand for it. So the long term idea is for the Trons to be a sort of "elastic" server layer running open source apps or securing accounts/login and payment for proprietary apps running off network... as well as being the server's for CRW blockchain and providing transaction confirmation services to the blockchain. A series of detailed papers on our architecture will be released in the coming weeks. Crown Hub Progress is being made on a complex information site for Tron operators, where it will be possible to check Tron payments, follow and comment Tron voting proposals as well as see the actual profitability of Trons among other functions. This work is being done by luccd88 and his partners. Tron Monitoring AppOur app dev calnaughtonjnr is finishing with the enhanced V2 version of the mobile Throne monitor for Android and iOS. The Community is GrowingWe have a new community / team member who will be spreading the word on Crown in South East Asia - specifically Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam and Burma. The Dev team together with bigmo is working to add Crown to the Trezor device. We are excited to see the community grow substantially after our Bittrex listing and are confident we are making important steps toward a larger scale adoption of Crown. In other recent news:Crown was added to the Blockfolio Android/iOS app. http://blockfolio.com/The Tron income spreadsheet has been updated to have live price updates and a sandbox area for price forecasting. Current figures show an ROI of just under 60% per annum. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1gq-EHNGOQJizETEFgECQfx6zR2dUu2X6j3KHwMnbqyg/edit?usp=sharingThe Crown Android wallet is now available on Google Play Awesome update, Just like to add Lucd88's throne income calc http://crowncoin.byethost5.com/v0.2/?thrones=1And bigmos web wallet https://www.crownwallet.world/

My friend likes the new Android app so much, that he started designing template for its website. Are there any plans to launch a dedicated website for the android app by the core team? If not I do have a "free" hosting, where some simple one-page presentation could be hosted. Here is a sneak peak:-) What do you think? That's very kind of him. The site looks nice to me

OK thank you for your support . Is it important for me, that the thrones works in the Raspberry. I want to buy the Raspberry and I will try set the trone . M. You don't NEED a Raspberry Pi to host a throne if thats what you mean. You could rent a VPS and host that way but i'd recommend Raspberry Pi.

Hey guys, great job !!! I follow this project from the early beginning, when there existed only in the minds of those who set it up . I'm happy and I see the future of the CROWN very positively. I would like to set up the throne and would like to use "Raspberry Pi 3", but I have no experience with that. Do you use for thrones the Raspberry? Thanks Hey man, I can help you with your Raspberry Pi. Its probably better to join mattermost so we can talk more efficiently.
