Version 1.0.3 is out!

https://github.com/iotaledger/wallet/releases

- Peer Discovery has been added (you no longer need to search for peers)
- Confirmation time interval has been increased to 1hour (meaning that you need to replay less)

Dom: this is pre-release, so this is mainly for those who want to beta test. Please give it a try and let us know if something is wrong.

Come to the chat for testing: https://iotatangle.slack.com/messages/testing/details/

Peer Discovery, nice.

Come from beyond has himself been involved in many projects and never stuck to only one project, that raises suspicions.

Right, I'm not Zuckerberg nor Musk to stick to only one project. Oh, wait, Musk actually doesn't, that raises suspicions...

EDIT: Now I'm not sure about Zuckerberg too, everyone in hi-tech raises suspicions, it seems.

I think your next project should be called suspicoins

Satoshi Fund WTB 15,6Ti for 100 BTC << See below, actually not me buying. Just for better view.

If any whale wants to sell, this would be a nice offer to consider, would be nice to have them on bord: http://forum.iotatoken.com/t/satoshi-fund-is-looking-for-whales/478

Man they really want some cheap IOTA  Huh

The big deal would probably be better option for whales to consider

Yes, the Big Deal is a much more valuable party to have on board than Satoshi Fund.

can we buy IOTA yet?

Not yet, exchanges coming in a week or so. Be very cautious if anyone offers to sell OTC.

Anyone figured out how to install IOTA wallet on windows 8.1?

Windows is not recognizing it and deleting it right after opening up the installer.

The new version works perfect  Cool

It installs but it is quickly uninstalled by windows 8.1.  Undecided

After a bit of messing around I finally got it to install, I had to install it with the option of "Run as administrator".
Maybe this will help others with similar issues.  Cool

Windows 10 works fine but when you double click the downloaded Iota wallet setup file (.exe), you have to click "more info" on the prompt, then "run anyway" to start the install. Leave it to Microsoft to continue to make things more complicated.

 Shocked Shocked

amazing, and anyone could tell me why iota is so successful? It is 20X of ico price even it isn't listed on exchanges.   Huh Huh

Mostly due to partnerships like Microsoft and other big news that hasn't been made public. 20x is nothing, wait 6 months  Smiley

Also, reminder to everyone, please donate to Foundation everyone, need to reach 100%.

I think if we want to have the foundation completely funded we need to have a serious call for all who donated 5% to increase their donations to 10%.

I think at this point, the people who didn't donate are not going to donate. So if we want this to happen, those who did donate need to donate more.

I know that I along with many others have already donated 10%. If a few more increase donations to 10% we should have no problem!

Agreed, I've donated about 15% thus far and others need to seriously think about donating more as the foundation is going to be required for Iota to be successful.

Gui and new website look great.  With the current scalability and fee debates, I believe Iota will find a strong place in the crypto market!

For a moment I felt myself a character from "1984"... All irrelevant posts have been erased from the history.

So you are BCNext.

What will happen to the unclaimed tokens?

As per our agreement with the project leaders the unclaimed tokens will be transferred to my account as a form of a huge thank you for my contribution, keeping the project on the right track and bringing my bright ideas about Internet of Things to this community.

You wish  Smiley  50% of the unclaimed funds is going toward the Jinn project and 50% to the Foundation for Iota.

Who have the connections with the anonymous donors pledged to donate before? Can you contact them to claim and donate now?

Ludom does, but I'm not sure he's involved with the community anymore, because of disagreements with Iotatoken, which is a bummer because he's a really good guy. Regardless, I was the anonymous large donator to the Foundation, which I've done already during my claim a couple days ago, I donated 10% of my stake (over 5mil old Iota).

Can someone post the latest version of client or maybe update the OP with a link and directions on running.  I can't access Iota Chat right now. Thanks.

I'm in the middle of preparing a new version.

OK thanks

GREAT NEWS!!!

In few hours CFB will release version that will allow to donate to the foundation

CHEERS

Let's see how many holders keep their promise. I am! Is Yassin covering the status?  Smiley

When the address is available, someone should post some kind of conversion info for old and new IOTA amounts, i.e. 100k old Iota = xxxxx new Iota.  I'm still not entirely sure of the conversion rate.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: May 24, 2016, 10:06:47 PM
How many total ETH to be made?  currently 80.347 million with annual increase of 11.315 million?  I understand they are planning a switch to POS at some point, but that is alot of new ATH to come onto market in short period.

Anyone have answers on this?

I'm not sure they know yet, because they will have an initial period of POW/POS hybrid to keep security strong while POS node count increases.  I've heard different #'s thrown around, 90Mil total supply seems to be the most popular but who knows.
