A block by 1FX...!! That's two in a row, Boom!

Unless you're running a significant percentage of the Pool's total hashrate, your mining power isn't what determines the 5Nd but the Pool's.
From Kano.is/help/payouts The pool hash rate for the last day is roughly 221.57PHs which means the 5Nd 'ramp' is roughly 7days 13hrs

Yeah, there's definitely something not right if you're burning up cables on an R4. I personally use the "RAID" configuration when it comes to PSU's powering miners, in that I buy multiple lower wattage PSU's to power up the boards and controller. For example, my home droid Artoo (an Antminer R4 Batch 2) is powered by two Thermaltake 750W ATX PSU's. They're cheap, give me more than enough power, and for those of you who might say I'm over-spec'ing the PSU's take note of the the efficiency curves and how the sweet spot is around 60% of max output... As a side note, I (finally) updated the firmware on Artoo due to a hashboard dropping out often enough and so far it runs with better board temp differentials. We'll see if R4 becomes R2 again, or if indeed it's better. Now if only the mines on ice planet Hoth would open up again I'll be a happy miner. Mine ON! Edit - Well that didn't take long, a board dropped out already and R4 became R2 again! Time to downclock.

That makes 5 in a row for cryptostarusa!! Oh BAM! Block cracking maniac!!

Running on 110? If so maybe your incoming power is sagging a bit which would cause the PSU to increase amps to compensate. Weaker units then go POOF? Just a thought... Mine on!

Half of my miners are still sending shares in, so some got moved I guess... I don't have much, tho, and I'm sure this is a much bigger issue for you big dogs with lotsa miners.

Yeah I hate how I only get paid weekly at work since I have to pay my bills monthly... wait, wut? And I've not seen a more reliable pool than kano's, with the best support of any sysop out there.

Time for a shot of HOOCH! Cheers hooch8000 for cracking that obstinate block! Mine ON!

|

Yes you can, just do it exactly like you described such that you do NOT power any hashboard with multiple psu's as they'll fight each other and cause mayhem.

Cryptostarusa!! Woot! Getting the Kanopool Block Party Weekend tm started early!!

|

Local buyer gets it at $0.02, you buy it from them for a bit more. Think partner...

NotFuzzy crystallized my thoughts very eloquently. As to what you're seeing, the controller will use a small amout of power compared to the hash boards. The brief time it's alive is possibly the time between controller turning on and hash boards powering up.

Probably a voltage issue. Try running it on 240V if possible.

Sidewinder strikes again! Blocktastic!! Glad to get that 380% diff one out of the way, but still >100% luck for past 100 blocks!

I think it best if kanosan say nothing about where/how he found this bug. Why help those who are obviously playing politics? I hate politics!

I do, and instantly reply via the ignore button! Mine on, even without hourly payouts!!

|

Wamba-Jamba! Cryptostarusa cracks another one!! Mine ON!

|

Dang that's a bummer NotFuzzy. A good R4 is like a unicorn; you've heard about them but don't really see them! Even my R4B2 is mostly R2B2 anymore with only one board that consistently hashes. Might need to do another cleaning.

Edit: and the Shift Graph now shows the average of the Approx 5Nd instead of the whole graph.
I really like this new feature! Very cool and appreciated to know how far the current 5Nd goes back and what your average hashrate is for the same time period. Long live Kano-san!I do to, the estimated 5Nd average line is very useful to me. It was fascinating to see how a short outage of a single machine affected the chart. I can also imagine it will help take the guesswork out of the "ramp" mystery for someone just starting on the pool.Oh Please!! Mine on, peeps!
