Why post about some crap altcoin in the Bitcoin only section??  If you want real responses move this to the altcoin section.

645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New to mining and need a little advise! on: November 02, 2017, 10:45:56 PM
Wrong section...  Move this thread to the Altcoin Mining section.  Bitcoin is way too advanced for that little bit of computing power, and this is the Bitcoin section of the forums.

647  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Best psu for S7 on: November 02, 2017, 02:22:50 PM
I ran my S7 with a LEPA 1600W for a long time, though I had the S7 UC'd slightly for electrical $$ purposes.

Not Ponzi, you are describing the Network Effect.

I know this may not be the best place to ask, but this is the only thread i am actually engaged with on this forum.

---> Where is the best place to buy a S9?

Im not going to buy one on ebay for the rediculous overcharge, as im not in a hurry to receive it.

-Andy
I, and perhaps some others, will PM you shortly.
651  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer D3 power goes off , spike fuse goes off when i run on: November 01, 2017, 04:53:11 PM
Wrong area, this is Bitcoin only; however I'd suspect your power supply isn't big enough.
652  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: why bitcoin mining difficulty is increased? on: November 01, 2017, 01:16:57 PM
It's part of the Bitcoin specification.  You don't already know this???
653  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: my Antminer s5 mining at 1554 HG/s unbelievable؟ on: November 01, 2017, 12:25:30 PM
You're seeing the statistical variance of the hashing algorithm.  You should always see lots of up and down, with the average being the rating of the miner (some of which will be better than others, it's a crapshoot).  If a pool is showing a perfectly straight line on your hashrate that is fake news!
654  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: I've got A Goldielocks and Three Bears Kinda Question...... on: October 31, 2017, 02:32:50 PM
I get that, but you don't want to wait too long between blocks, and unfortunately for smaller pools you really don't want to wait so long you go through a diff increase without hitting a block.  That's no bueno...
655  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: I've got A Goldielocks and Three Bears Kinda Question...... on: October 31, 2017, 02:09:22 PM
Reward per block will be less all other things being equal, yes.  You would be expected to get more blocks, however, so your total expected reward per day will be the same on average.
656  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Antminer S9 on: October 30, 2017, 06:56:45 PM
If that Altcoin is using SHA256 then yes it can.  If not, no.  This is the bitcoin only section so we don't pay attention to Altcoins here.
657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining with Gaming PC on: October 30, 2017, 06:36:52 PM
Can't do it here in the Bitcoin only section...  Repost this question in the Altcoin section for more, better feedback.  Wink

659  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: What are the odds that your minner is hacked? on: October 29, 2017, 12:16:12 AM
Yup, all the time unfortunately.  Scumbags abound in all areas of life.  Cheesy
660  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: What are the odds that your minner is hacked? on: October 28, 2017, 04:48:06 PM
Changing the password is not sufficient - you're usually getting hacked through the API which is left open, and has its own hard coded login credentials, so you need to be behind a router that stops incoming connections.
