It's time for BLOCK FRIDAY! You got that right, Carl! Time for a Blockalanche!!

Can't access its GUI using the Host-provided VPN? Should be part of any Hosting package... On the batch-6 at least, the top board reports as chain-8, the bottom as chain-7. God forbid BM just swap cables connectionsso the top/bottom boards report as top/bottom on the GUI I only got a couple units there, so no. If you have a bunch it can be set up with that certainly. Either way it's already been sent out and back once for only a few weeks worth of full speed hashing. Not very cost effective...

Repair finished, R4B4 is being sent back to Hoth... Fingers crossed all is good!
Well that didn't take long... R4 got back to the Hoth mine and after a few weeks has dropped a board (again) and is running at 1/2 speed. Lame. I'll bet it is the top board that's out, right? My gimpy batch-6 I got had a board (top one) crap out after just 24hrs. Since I'll (eventually) have it fixed in CO just been happy with it running @4.7TH and only pulling 430w. No way for me to tell since since it's with Alan at cryptoboreas in their Hoth mines... I'll just let it run at 1/2 speed for now. Just had the POS shipped back and forth to the Empire's apparently useless repair facility. Such suckitude it boggles the mind!

I will leave one on this pool but I'm not doing all with no pay in the near future or last 6 months.
I totally get that. That's why my challenge is to all the miners out there that have multiple machines as I now do. Most of my hash is pointed at kano for regular (enough) payouts, and the rest is pointed here. Get enough of us to point some hash here and we'll get a share rate for maybe a block or two between diff changes. I wouldn't mind that...

|
I'll keep sending my house droid here and cranking shares until we crack one. I can't believe all you miners with WAY more equipment than I don't point one here and leave it... No bitching about BTC getting centralized if you don't put your money where your mouth, or fingers on keyboard , is...

Holy-Petahash batman! OneInch is cranking shares like crazy right now!! Let's crack one already!!

Try a lower frequency and see if that brings it back alive. Say 575MHz, then if that works and is stable go up a little more. Might be that full throttle no longer works well. I kept my S7 underclocked a bit and it was rock solid.

Great pre-Block Friday run up!! April showers bring Blockflowers...!

I believe the S9 and T9 are basically the same when it comes to noise and heat output. The main difference between the two is the T9 trades efficiency for reliability - that is the T9 has less hash for the power but they are way less likely to have a failure of some sort. Check the S9 and T9 threads for more and more and more on the subject!

Block by schmokeandapancake! This is your 13th Kano block and our 1st of the day! Schweet!! Lucky 13th block, nice!

Keep cranking out those shares. We're bound to hit a block, and when we do think of the juicy fat payout you'll get with all those shares in the pool!! C'mon blocky, daddy wants a new pair of shoes!

2 R4's in my stable. First one, R4B2, has been basically rock solid since day one. This includes long run times - though once after 54 days something went wonky and it needed a warm reboot - and frequent restarts for changing pool priorities to "spread the love" as it were. Love it, and it's very quiet running which let's me have it in my bedroom with comparable to less noise than a small space heater. My R4B4, however, dropped a hash board as soon as it arrived at the DC after I ran it for a day to set it up and verify it's running. That pissed me off. It's a 50% failure rate based on units, or a 25% failure rate based on hash boards. Totally unsatisfactory and full on amateur hour. After being offline for a month, sent back to the Empire's droid tech center for repair, she's been hashing away for a little over a week and so far so good. Gee, let's hope it'll keep running as advertised, or is that too much to ask?

OMG the SPEED!! My S9 13.5THs I foolishly threw coins at and bought almost A MONTH AGO has finally arrived at the Hoth mine (also known as Cryptoboreas) over there in the Great White North and is hashing away for more BTC goodness! Moore's law what? In the last year I went from a staggering 1.1THs via an S5 to 4.7THs on a 7 to now where I have an astronomical 30.2 THs which is split between mostly here and jonny's pool. Let's keep the Empire at bay, long live the rebellion (Star Wars reference, help keep BTC decentralized as Satoshi envisioned ) Mine on!

Indeed you've got to love this pool! In fact, considering when this server upgrade/reboot is going to occur, and based on no firm science at all, I smell a Block Friday coming!!
|
|
|
How's everyone doing?
Doing well ShiftFire! I got a little over 1.1G shares in the pool so far... As Jeremy Clarkson often said, "more power!!!"

Put weenie on ignore and be done with him already. Clogs up every thread with useless nonsense.

Easy there, pac. To mine $100/day takes 194THs at current diff and price. That's about 15 S9's. That's just mining, doesn't take into account electricity, variance, diff changes, or price changes. Some of those factors will lower your earnings, some may increase them. But a true thug wouldn't be asking for advice from strangers on a forum, now would they biggie?

Right-on jonny! Let's crack one, and a block too while we're at it!

Ah HA! Getting close...! Thx for the info, can't wait to get more hash! No Problem! We were super excited when we checked the tracking and saw that they actually had shipped them out! Hash on Ha ha! Just got my shipping notice this morning. Ask and ye shall receive, eh? Mine on!
