Ah HA! Getting close...! Thx for the info, can't wait to get more hash!

Block Friday people! Booyah!! Besides, 'bout time we get some sub-100 diff blocks... How we going to keep the amazing long term stats otherwise?

For a quick order of magnitude calculation consider your system in reverse... 1.5kW, which is what you want to capture, is 2hp. Do you know much water is pumped through a 2hp pump? Way more than your stream, that is for sure. So actual numbers might be interesting to know, but without way more head the amount of energy you can capture will not be anywhere near the 1.5kW you want.

Anyone who purchased that last batch of S9-13.5THs get a shipping notice yet? I got an email back on the 6th "BITMAIN Order Picking" saying "your order is under arrangement, tracking number will update to you later." Later indeed... Look, I know they said they wouldn't ship until the 31st, but why get me all hot and bothered on the 6th? No one likes a tease!

Hi Kano - are you going to signal Segwit support? I'd like to bring about 2PH onto the pool. Rob
kano-san has been quite clear he does not support segwit - he's answered a number of times in this thread, it's hiding in here somewhere!

You need to test the psu under load, not easy. Easier to beg, borrow, or steal another psu and then run with that for a while. That'll tell you if it's the psu or miner/setup. What psu are you using, btw? Is it rated high enough for an S7 (>1400W from the 12V rail)?

Schweeeeet! Doing the Block dance191!!! Cha cha cha! Now enough of the 100+% diff blocks, time for a slew of sub-centuries!

S5 is around 600W. I had an EVGA750 running one and it was solid.

Got my house droid mining away! Time to spread the word and get some more hash pointed here. Mine on!

Finally got R4B4 repaired and back to the DC from the Empire tech station, so as soon as I get home I'll send R4B2 into the bravo mine and it's game on!

Woo Hoo Block Friday begins! Love all those juicy fees, yummy!!

Working backwards with 13THs I get over 58 months to hit a block. Using your figure of 0.0000036 probability per second just take the inverse and get a little over 3 days so I'd check your math and assumptions. Plus this is OT for kano-san's pool so maybe continue this in the speculation section...

Assuming no change in diff during the time, which is a false assumption but at least gives you a ballpark figure, and assuming I didn't screw up the calculations:
S5=1.1THs expected to solve a block in over 760 months S7=4.7THS expected to solve a block in over 170 months
Increasing diff will increase the time proportionately.

Looks like it, phil. I'm still waiting for the shipment of the previous 13.5THs batch of which I was foolish enough to drop some coin on...

Hey jonny, First, bravo to you for running one of the few pools that does it right. As soon as my two droids make it to the cryptoboreas btc mines on Hoth, I'll tell my house droid R4B2 to start working in your mine. I like your style, and want to see your pool grow. So I challenge all you miners out there with more than 30THs - that's all I'm running atm - and if I can point one of my miners, I mean droids, at jonny's pool than so can YOU. Signing up now, and will send you hash (love saying that... ) as soon as the transport arrives at Hoth base. We will increase the peeps! Mine on!
