Any pool that fairly pays the miners the txn fees. So NOT antpool unless you like giving them extra BTC for no reason...

... If the mining speed in 2017 is not possible on solo PC, is there any other option to buy "inexpesive" mining hardware to have at least 1$/day mining speed?
Nope

Yeah, there's a reason weenie has been on ignore for a long time now. I highly recommend it.

Hello, I couldn't find my answer on Bitmain's website.
Is it possible to change the frequency, to underclock or overclock, the S9-13.5TH/s and S9-11.5TH/s, that are sold at the moment on Bitmain's webshop ?
Thanks
No, they auto-tune during each startup/reboot. Been that way for many batches now.

For Bitcoin there is no more 'building a rig' of any kind. You must purchase a dedicated ASIC miner to mine bitcoin. If you want to build rigs, I suggest you go to the altcoin section where you'll get plenty of information.

Forgive me if these topics have already been heavily discussed, in this case, please point me to resources.
The "Search" button above is your friend...

Noob question, but when i set up another miner do i use the same worker name or a different one if i want to have both of my miners mining on kano?
You would use the same username, with different worker names appended i.e.: Username.worker1 and Username.worker2 etc... Underscore works also (Username_worker3)

For 5BTC per month at current diff you're looking at 346THs, or roughly 26 S9's. Not a small investment by any means, and then you need like 40kW just to run them.

1) Wrong section, this is Bitcoin only, repost this in the altcoin section for more detailed help. 2) Winblows has trouble running more than 4 GPUs at the same time. You running Win?

Internet speed/cable category is irrelevant - the real bottleneck is the hash calculation. As long as you're getting the correct THs average at poolside all is well. Don't sweat the small stuff.

Nope, only the last 2!

rebooted and changed power plugs. it runs at 4.7-5.0 th/s for like 5 mins than starts to drop opp slowly like .30 th/s till its at 3.5? whats going on
im going to try hooking up a different power supply in its place
also gg new block!
I kept my S7 slightly underclocked all the time I ran it, and it seemed to run fine that way. Have you tried a dropping the frequency a bit and see if that helps? EDIT - Drop it like 10-20% and if it stays stable then you can start inching it back up until you see trouble. Good luck!

No, it all averages out. More rewards that are smaller = fewer rewards that are larger. I've been at kano.is since I started mining. Plus the miners get the txn fees at Kano, which is not insignificant.

1) Wrong section - this is for Bitcoin, you need to ask this question in the alt-coin area. 2) Apparently Winblows 10 has problems running more than 4 GPU cards...

<snip> ...run mycellium so you mine to a cold storage, then use https://bitinfocharts.com/bitcoin/ mycelium to track your balance) And then transfer from that adress to the exchange if you must change it to fiat. What ^he said (that's how I do it, too) - though if you're running mycelium you can see your balance in there at any time. I also don't put in the private key unless I'm about to transfer some coin out, then I put it in just long enough to sign the transaction, and after it goes through I delete the private key. One MAJOR caveat - don't lose the paper with your (cold) storage address on it...!

The last payout I received was for block 463271. Is this correct or am I missing some payouts ?
Depends, I see one more payout in my wallet, but it's smaller than the one before so I wonder if possibly you dropped below the dust threshold so it wouldn't show up at all?

Due to multiple failure of a hash board on my R4B4, I have been offered a 'new' T9 for exchange of the stumbling R4. I'm guessing I'll probably go with it - if I have it warranty repaired again there's no reason to think it won't do the same once again and drop to 1/2 speed after a short time. Not thrilled with the large decrease in efficiency, but fully running less efficiently is better than half running more efficiently, if that makes sense... A big Harrumph either way!
