1401  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ weeddaddy.io - New Crash Game - Weekly Giveaway | Free Faucet ✨ on: January 31, 2023, 10:06:05 PM
^^
A x100 wagering requirement is indeed one of the highest wagering requirements I've ever seen! They need to consider lowering it a bit more.
I've been following the game for quite some time and in each round there were zero players on board! It means weeddaddy's advertising strategy is not working, although they have been here for few months already and are quite active. They need to reconsider their advertising strategy too.
1402  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Loan Defaulted [SiNeReiNZzz] on: January 31, 2023, 08:47:37 PM
BUt I tag if I do not get any response. Also, before tagging I give several warning.
This is the problem. Imo, if a borrower doesn't repay a loan on the due date, he must be tagged the very next day. This is what you should do if you want to alert other lender and save them from being scammed by that person.
You need to realize that if you are going to wait few days/weeks till he responds (which isn't going to happen) then he will use that grace periode to scam other lenders.

Smiley

1406  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Too accessible of online casino grows addiction faster? on: January 26, 2023, 11:58:22 PM
Well, physical casinos can also be addictive especially with all the freebies and complementaries that they offer. They will try their best to capture your attention so you would be able to stay at the casino for as long as they want and for you to actually gamble again.
Actually, I believe brick and mortar casinos can be more addictive than online casinos. It's true that they aren't as easy to access as online websites which makes the number of potentially affected customers smaller. Maybe this is why some members think online casinos are more addictive.
The good thing about online casinos is that they have many tools which can help to spot addiction behavior and can blacklist a trouble gambler from all the platforms within a click.
1407  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Has an exchange ever blocked your Bitcoins from Signature earnings? on: January 26, 2023, 11:08:29 PM
I am just trying to know from forum members if there is anyone who has ever had their bitcoin payments from signature advertising get blocked by an exchange, citing "suspicious transaction"?
Never happened to me and not aware of anyone who experienced it either.
A centralized exchange may lock your deposit transaction and ask you to provide source of funds for multiple reasons but I doubt they will do it because it's coming from a sig. campaign.

Quote
What was/would be your course of action if they asked for source of funds or proof of source of funds, especially if you were dealing with payments from a bitcoin casino or bitcoin mixing platform (since most CEXs seems to be no so friendly with bitcoins from such platforms) ?
I'll give them the link of the sig. campaign thread and the link of the spreadsheet where they can see my forum username and my address.
1408  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: January 26, 2023, 10:36:44 PM
..
Well, since the gambler who placed the bet didn't have his identity revealed, as the article says, I think there isn't any issues in sharing the fact with more people through the news article
After reading MiliMil's post, I had to read the article again to see if they published any personal information about the unlucky gambler because if they did it would be a disgrace indeed. But they didn't. They referred to him as unlucky gambler. So, I don't see anything wrong here as long as the gambler's identity remain secret.
Most of casinos' ToS state that they reserve the right to publish your bets details in case of a big win and promise not to reveal your identity.
1409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Go-to casino on: January 26, 2023, 09:38:38 PM
I have lots of casinos I gamble with, I don't need to cast my loyalty on any casino, reason being that to me it's ain't advisable to do so.
Can you, please, explain why it's not advisable to cast your loyalty on any casino? I don't see any problem in doing so as long as you are being honest and don't suggest a shady or scam casino.
There are too many good crypto casinos and I mentioned some of them in a previous reply. However, am curious to know if gamblers here spend most of their time on a single place or play on different platforms?
1410  Economy / Gambling / Re: 4CryptoBet New Online Crypto Casino and Sports Betting! on: January 26, 2023, 08:48:20 PM
^^
If I am getting it correctly, you will need to wager the deposited amount once then any bet you will make will count towards the wagering requirement (except bets on some games).
From their explanation on how their bonuses work, specifically point 8, you will need to finish the wagering requirement (x15) before you can withdraw your funds. It doesn't matter if it's the bonus oney or your initial deposit.
1411  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: HitBTC ATTENTION on: January 25, 2023, 11:53:13 PM
Hitbtc doesn't require any further attention. All who frequent the reputation board know that it's a shady as hell exchange.
Did you know that they listed a "paper toilet" coin on their exchange! The funny thing is that coin was part of the stupid CMC April fools prank.
How can you trust such exchange? They will ask you to verify your identity then to provide source of funds, after you complete all of this they will simply tell you to fo.
1412  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance P2P - any experience/opinions? on: January 25, 2023, 11:26:38 PM
And the time is also mentioned, maximum 15 minutes is given within which the transaction will be completed.
I think that 15 minutes is not a set in stone rule, but every merchant can set their own max time. At least that's what I've read on binance.
[/quote]
This is not correct. This depends on the order maker. He can choose for how long the order will remain valid/open after someone initiates it. The shortest is 15 minutes but if can be up to 6 hours. As I said it depends on the order maker.

Regarding disputes, don't over think it. They don't rely solely on screenshots. They will request both parties to provide their evidences and screenshots aren't a valid evidence unless the second party doesn't response.
1413  Economy / Gambling / Re: Researching for Upcoming Game on: January 25, 2023, 10:47:31 PM
and this is because gamblers are always on the look for novelty, so if a casino implements a new slot faster than the competition then gamblers will make a deposit at that casino and gamble there, another possibility is that a casino may give very good bonuses for an event while at another casino the bonuses are not as good or they do not exist at all, and in that case gamblers interested in those bonuses will prefer to gamble at the casino with the best offers.

Well, because now there are many casino choices. customers have many options, to play wherever they want. it is difficult for any casino, to retain its customers as long as possible. moreover, if the customers always lose in every gambling session, especially customers who always get consecutive losses. automatically, customers will not feel comfortable and will eventually look for another, more ideal casino.

According to OP's latest reply, this game is supposed to be innovative and I must admit that I've never seen a game which can be compared to this one.
The only downside that I can think of on the top of my head is the p2p nature of the game! We all know that regardless of how fascinating the game is, it's not going to get much traction if it's a p2p game especially on online crypto casinos.
1414  Economy / Reputation / Re: My apology to all. And please read the whole post before you do anything. on: January 25, 2023, 02:31:49 PM
A friend of mine introduced me to this forum and I introduced many of my friends to it too. This is why I find the friend/relative excuse plausible, depending on the case.
However, all those who invited to join bitcointalk created their accounts and read the rules by themselves. If I had the slightest doubt they aren't smart enough to figure out how to do it by themselves, I would have never invited them in first place.
I can't tell with total certainty whether OP is telling the truth or not, but I shared the above because some members deserve to be given the benefit of the doubt.

OP, you provided all the evidences you could gather. I don't think there is anything else you can do right now. Just let it go and let others decide by themselves whether to believe you or not.
1415  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My own way of advising crypto newbies on: January 24, 2023, 11:55:20 PM
By telling them to invest only the money they won't need in the next five years, you are implicitly promising that they will get the invested money or more after that period. I wouldn't do that to be honest. No one knows what will happen in or after five years and you don't want to be held responsible if something wrong happens and they lose their money.
By telling them to invest only what they can afford to lose, you are preparing them mentally for the worst case scenarios.
1416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Too accessible of online casino grows addiction faster? on: January 24, 2023, 11:15:55 PM
Your friend has a point but he needs to realize that online casinos have been around for a long time (more than a decade), so this not really something new. Besides, providing faster services by having online versions is supposed to be an advantage as it will save you a lot of time and effort.
If someone has a vulnerable personality then it doesn't matter where he plays. He can easily become an addict and not distance or anything else would stop him from playing excessively.
1417  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Sportsbet.io does not pay $1400 ( Account is locked ) on: January 24, 2023, 10:18:08 PM
The reason they just do not want
What do you mean by "they do not want"? Was this the answer of their customer support, do you have a screenshot of the conversation? Am asking this because no professional support agent would ever say something like that and sportsbet has a good reputation, afaik.

I just checked sportsbet's announcement thread and Steve already responded to your comment there (which seems to be deleted) stating that they have contacted you. Check your emails.
1418  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance P2P - any experience/opinions? on: January 24, 2023, 09:25:27 PM
If you don't mind passing kyc verification then binance p2p platform is one of the best centralized p2p exchanges, according to my own experience. I've been using it for more than a year with no problems.
Just make sure to deal only with highly rated buyers/sellers to avoid any kind of troubles.
Also, make sure to read carefully their ToS as they are very firm about it.

Note: I don't think this is the appropriate board for this thread. Maybe you need to move it to Service Discussion > Exchanges
1419  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Do and Don't for Electrum Wallet on: January 23, 2023, 11:56:49 PM
The thread "I've been hacked Electrum..." must be removed or the title changed as it gives the impression that Electrum is vulnerable. How Julerz've been hacked has nothing to do with Electrum itself.
If you are looking for what to do and what not to do to keep your wallet safe then you will find an infinity of threads which will help you in your quest.
Just download it from the official website and verify its signature then follow the above suggestions and you should be fine.
1420  Economy / Gambling / Re: New casino BTC game development on: January 23, 2023, 11:03:58 PM
@OP, are you going to sell it for one person (ewxlusive) or to any one who wants to buy it? Also are you going to offer after sale assistance in case a bug is found?
Any one interested in buying this script must think thoroughly because startinh a casino business is not only about having a working script/website. This should be the last thing you think of. The competition in this field is tough and starting with a modified pre-made script isn't a smart move. Just my opinion.
