1401  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: November 20, 2022, 08:30:09 PM
Atletico Madrid this season not only has a bad coach but also a bad squad and bad management too. For some reason, this season Atletico Madrid is really bad in all positions. They have not only failed in round 16 of the Champions League but also seem to have failed in La Liga. This is bad, in fact, they often fail against small clubs. What a bad surprise. Atletico Madrid really needs a new coach capable of making significant changes, and maybe they should buy some good sharp players in the next transfer market.
Atletico Madrid's squad is weak. But they have a lot of talented players in their squad. Griezmann, Morata, Correa and De Paul are all talented enough. But none of the attacking players are in good form, and they are not playing well consistently. This is why their squad is weak. Atletico Madrid's main failing is that they can't find the players they need. They don't know exactly what their weaknesses are. And because of not knowing the weaknesses, they cannot find the right players for their squad. This is why their performance has been so poor this season.
Atletico still haven't failed completely because they are still in fifth place and Atletico still have a great chance of getting back into the top four, unless Atletico fall far behind as Sevilla is currently experiencing then it's an absolute failure. But if Atletico have only experienced losing by mediocre teams a few times and also, the fact is that Atletico still have a big chance to be able to return to the top four.
At least that is still a normal and reasonable result, because sometimes all teams also experience situations like this and the most important thing is not to fall too hard.
Also, if we consider the number of goals and conceded, the competition still looks very reasonable and Atletico doesn't look as bad as one might think.
The factor that looks bad is because Atletico were eliminated in the Champions League and also, that usually Atletico is the shadow of Real Madrid and Barcelona at this moment is no longer. But to be honest, if I consider their results so far, then it's still a result that is still in a good situation and doesn't have any big problems.

I don’t think Atletico Madrid is in an utterly devastating position. But the problem with Atletico Madrid is that if we look at the last five matches, they have only one win in them. And they have won seven of the 14 matches they have played. I mean that is not a pretty stellar result, to be honest. The position that they are in right now (7th) is not a good one. Nevertheless, it is not so terrible that they won't be able to recover. I think they can obviously recover and at least get into the top three. But if they are going to bring results like this, one win in the last five, they are not on track to be able to achieve the top three position. They will have to be consistent.
1402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 20, 2022, 06:52:34 PM
Bruno Fernandes has said that he doesn't have any problem with Ronaldo now. As you might have seen, he had an awkward moment with Ronaldo in the dressing room a short time ago. I don't know if he is telling the truth but it doesn't seem an honest answer to me. Because Ronaldo has had similar things with some other players as well. They shouldn't act like Ronaldo isn't there.
After seeing this kind of things I'm just saying that Ronaldo is doing the right thing by wishing to leave Manchester United as soon as possible.
The problem is that Ronaldo began to experience such tensions everywhere. And he is no longer a young football player. He should have learned to study human relations on a better ground by now. For example, let's take a look at Messi. He is in the same squad at PSG with the best players in the world such as Mbappe and Neymar. But he can even take the young and egotistical Mbappe with calmness. Because Messi is a team player. He can show the same professionalism in every team. And he can continue playing without causing problems. We can see the source of the problem by looking at the difference between Ronaldo and Messi.
if Bruno is telling the truth, do you not believe? Are you a skeptic? Bruno has publicly stated that the media has been lying and that he has no issues with Ronaldo. You continue to have doubts despite him explaining what occurred. Ronaldo has expressed his thoughts over the events at Man UTD, and he has made no apologies. He came out to address what is going on inside that is having an impact on the club's performances since it isn't doing well. If Ronaldo didn't adore Manchester United, he would have kept to himself, played his thing, and moved on. But he adores the supporters and the team. He also wants UTD to bring back the club lost glory. As Bruno previously stated, they're focusing on the world cup games now, no distractions.

I think the biggest problem with Cristiano Ronaldo is that he’s looking for respect and he is getting them. Obviously, Cristiano Ronaldo is still a very good player. But I think the stories that are going around regarding Cristiano Ronaldo such as he does not respect any players and authorities, and also he wants to be respected, are getting a lot of players to think bad things about Cristiano Ronaldo. I think it is just something that is going to happen with his career as he gets older. The main problem is as I said to you Cristiano Ronaldo wants respect and no one is actually showing him any.

It's a pity, because it means the end of the circus with a worn-out Ronaldo on the field in a Manchester United shirt. It was nice to see him in the Premier League as lost, powerless and frustrated as he wanders around the field like a ghost, trying to find his place. He "knows" that he can play football at the "highest possible level", others don't understand that so they make fun of him on the field, he is furious because he can't prove to them how much they all are below him, they don't understand again so they wonder what the worn-out Ronaldo is looking for on the field. Cheesy It's even more of a shame that no one from the top 5 Euro leagues seems to be interested in him anymore. So let's watch the continuation of this drama, in which worn-out Ronaldo, once a great presence on the football field, is now reduced to a sad spectacle.

Whatever is happening with Cristiano Ronaldo is not good for any party. That was Cristiano Ronaldo is currently uncertain and Manchester United obviously got exposed which is obviously good for them in the long run. But right now Manchester United will have to face some difficulties and obviously, a lot of players are not going to be interested to play for Manchester United right now. After hearing what Cristiano Ronaldo said.

I absolutely agree with you that the limits of Cristiano Ronaldo do not understand what he wants from his team. On the other hand, the team also thinks that Cristiano Ronaldo is just an old guy who is not in his prime and cannot play anymore. So, there is a big gap in communication between him and his team.
1404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 19, 2022, 06:12:07 PM
Ronaldo turned down a 350 million two year contract from Saudi Arabia! That is quite a statement and also allows us to come up with an idea about how much money he might have in the bank. Tongue He was asked about that as well and he answered that his money in the bank might be as high as his follow count on Instagram. Cheesy

This is definitely an insane offer to hear about. However it isn't too hard to predict the reason why Ronaldo has turned down this enormous offer. Because he wants to continue to compete in the Champions League so he wants to go to a team competing there. When it comes to the money, he must already have no problem about it. He just wants to continue to play competitive in Europe that's all. This has been one of the reasons why he has wanted to leave Manchester United.

After the recent incidents between him and his team I assume he will definitely leave in January. I've already heard that Manchester United are trying to part their ways with Ronaldo legally as quick as possible.

I think at this point, we all understand that Cristiano Ronaldo does not care about money that much anymore.

The thing he cares about the most is his legacy. And the problem is his time with Manchester United is not good at all. After what he did, there is no question that he is not going to stay in Manchester United, regardless of whether he finds a really good team or not.

Obviously Manchester United is going to part ways with Cristiano Ronaldo as soon as possible because he is basically a problem creator for them right now and it is better for them that he leaves. No more getting exposed without Cristiano Ronaldo I guess.

Despite all of the drama with FTX:

-Apple pay added USDC support
providing  an easy on-ramp for 500mil+
-Gaming juggernauts like Riot games are building in web 3.
-Billion dollar brands are incoming to the space.

Crypto is here to stay.

Although the deaths of Luna and FTX have taken a heavy toll on the market, but both are only part of the market. They are not representative of the entire market so their demise may have an impact but may not kill the crypto industry. Crypto is still in the development phase so bumps are inevitable. Like humans, to grow up we also have to go through a lot of falls and always get up after that, over time we will become more mature. The market has been around for 13 years and has been through a lot harder than this and we always stand firm after every crash, so this one was no exception.

If I remember correctly it is almost similar to Stepn project but developed from Nike and they don't organize token sale like Stepn, this is a free project. The generation of tokens is from performing tasks such as watching ads or walking, I used to follow this project but forgot about it because there was so much to worry about during this time.
In my opinion, this is a very good free project, it not only brings health to users but also brings many benefits such as converting tokens into coupons, discounts...but these projects will not generate great attention because it does not bring high returns to investors.
1407  Economy / Economics / Re: Do your work. on: November 19, 2022, 03:05:53 PM

I know there is a category of people who do not want to take any kind of risk with their money. They just want to keep their money in a bank and take interest every month. Why people would take risk of losing money when they can get guaranteed rewards somewhere else? But what they are not seeing is they are losing the chance for potential rewards too.

Banks can double the money but inflation would eat those values. There is no point in keeping your money ideal in a vault and losing its buying power every year. CashFlow management can double your money faster than a bank.

Simply because they do not want to step out of their comfort zone. My parents are also one of them, but I never blame them because I know that they have worked hard all their lives to earn, so they don't want to take any more risks, which is understandable. Everyone has an opinion, we should not impose our thoughts on others.

And in the case of my parents, their choice I don't see wrong. They have worked hard all their life and now is the time to enjoy and relax so there is no need to invest, with the money in the bank now, their life is not as hard as other people's.
1408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I need Wallet for my Bitcoin Investment on: November 18, 2022, 10:11:22 PM
Trust Wallet is good as well to saved your bitcoin investment, while creating the account, you need to saved the pass 12 phase of the wallet by writing down on your dairy including the password, should in case of future time, if your phone device been corrupt, or stolen, you can be able to recover your bitcoin digital assets back.
^This wallet was introduced by CZ the CEO of Binance.
This wallet is multi-functional and supports different blockchains, but if you really want to separate your BTC from your altcoins is better to choose Electrum wallet for BTC and TrustWallet for the altcoins. Both are open-source wallets that you can trust, as long as it is open-source we can assure that our fund is safe and we have control over our portfolio. However, if you have a budget, just go for the hardware wallet, this safest wallet for all, why? Because this wallet has a security feature itself that can protect your crypto.
Trust wallet is a non-custodial wallet but it is not an open-source wallet like Electrum or others. Currently, it's safe to use and I haven't had any problems using it with Trustwallet, but if it's just for storing bitcoins, Electrum is still the perfect choice.

@op, since you already have Electrum installed, feel free to use it, it's the best rated software wallet available today. Later, if you have more conditions, buy yourself a hardware wallet to ensure the safety of your bitcoins.
1409  Economy / Economics / Re: Do your work. on: November 18, 2022, 04:10:56 PM
Invest your saving in precious metals like gold and silver or digital assets like bitcoin, or it can in some potential stock or it can be in real estate. Invest your money where ever you want. Just do not keep it in a bank. The Bank interest rate is not higher than the inflation. You are losing money not gaining it. The point is to invest even if your saving is negligible.

It is good advice, thank you. Investing in gold and silver is a good investment, but it is not as profitable as Bitcoin, but it is okay to put part of our money in both investments. Bank benefits are not feasible, so putting our money in banks is like freezing and saving money only, but if we do something like a project or business with this money without putting it and crediting it in a bank will be a good idea as you will be the manager of your project and your business and you will have the full percentage of profit without anyone sharing the money with you, Through the surplus money you need from these businesses, you can invest in cryptocurrencies and trade, where with time you can double your capital.

Investing is always a great idea to increase our wealth. But you need to know that business is not always profitable. I believe people would rather double their money than put it in the bank, but they are aware that business is risky, not every investment is profitable.
Like cryptocurrency investing, business is not for everyone and those who tend to be risk-averse will choose to go to work and save money in the bank. It's really hard to give advice or explain to those people that it's better to understand investing than depositing money in a bank.
1410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are crypto devs so greedy on: November 18, 2022, 03:49:18 PM
The majority of crypto collapse always comes from the centralisation part and of cos the human greed, what do you think is the proper solution for these? To avoid hurting crypto investors and how to guarantee that their funds is safe with any platform, either Staking, Lending or Trading.

What is the way forward? What solution do you think will be effective?

I believe regulation.  Since most of altcoins are centralized blockchain since dev have full control of the system, I think it won't hurt if government step in.  It is good to see projects that are asking for money to have permission and proper approval from the government.  This way greedy and wicked developer will be filter.

At the current condition, I believe not patronizing their project is the best and effective way to deal with these greedy dev.

It's a solution but it's not quite as beneficial as you think. Regulations will eliminate scam projects or scammers will be punished and investors will be protected but we will no longer be free, they will control us all the time and we will no longer be able to see the hype of the market. Once there is regulation, I believe the market will become more stable and harder to make profit. If you are looking for a regulated market then securities are what you are looking for, don't bring any regulation to crypto.

Government regulation doesn't meddle with market movement unless they find it suspicious.  It is also good to protect people from buying maliciously hyped projects.  I don't think having the government regulate the cryptocurrency project crowdfunding will hinder our freedom.  we are still free to chose what project we support.  Besides it is always better to have a stable market than the unstable one.  At least we are sure that we are able to sell our tokens if the need for extra money arise.

The government will control us like they control the stock market and forex, they control everything from fundraising to your pocket. The market will definitely become more stable once regulations are in place and that's something that many people don't want that to happen. If you want high returns then you have to accept high risks.

If you don't want to be scammed, just stop being greedy and avoid hype projects, you will definitely never be scammed. Invest only in bitcoin and store it in a non-custodial wallet.

You should not blame the developers, they are just like us, they are here to make a profit. When you buy tokens, your aim is also to wait for a high price to sell for profit, you don't intend to invest long term or support the project to the end and the developers are no different than us, they also don't want us to dump the garbage on them. The market is a battlefield, if you are not brave enough you will become food for them and vice versa. We shouldn't be blamed when we lose, and if we can't win in this market, find another market that is more suitable.
1411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: November 18, 2022, 02:08:35 PM
I am willing to agree with @ShowOff in this because I know PSG certainly did not play well in the last season. But this season they are looking to perform well. They have played very solid so far this season. And I know it is not going to be easy but I will say that PSG would have had an advantage coming into the match against Bayern Munich. But the problem is we are going to have a big break and who knows how Messi and Neymar will perform after the World Cup as the World Cup is truly meaningful to them. Will they be able to stay out of injury is also a big question. Because without them, the attack of PSG is not good enough.
Whether it's Neymar, Messi and Mbappe, these three players are the heart of PSG for this season, so it would be a shame if they were injured in the world cup later, although we hope these three players don't have bad luck in the world cup. indeed, PSG is very, very highly favored to be able to win the match against Bayern Munich, but statistics show that Bayern Munich is better than PSG this season. in Ligue 1 Psg was able to perform brilliantly by going unbeaten up to the 15th match that has been played, but the distance between their points and second place is not too far away and I hope they are really able to maintain their ranking as leaders until the end of the season.

Messi is at a stage of his career where he does not care about club football achievements anymore. He has achieved everything that is there to be achieved.

So, I am not going to be surprised if he doesn’t get injured. Because he is always going to try to give his hundred percent for his national team. But for Neymar and Mbappe it’s different.

Even for Neymar who has already stated that this might be his last World Cup. I think there are a lot of importance to be given to club football. And Mbappe is obviously early in his career and he’s going to give importance to his club a lot.

So, I think the chance of Lionel Messi getting injured is a lot more compared to the other two. But the thing is in my opinion PSG is obviously going to win the league title. and the only important thing for PSG is the Champions League competition, so the player knows that they will win the league title.

Anyway, I think they will try to give their best effort in the World Cup.
1412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: November 17, 2022, 04:30:45 PM
It will be interesting to see how PSG play after (hopefully) they are sent home from the Champions League by Bayern. For many PSG players (Mbappe, for example), this will be a severe psychological blow and, in fact, the end of the season. The paradox is that there will be many games ahead in Ligue 1 and maybe PSG will perform much worse in this scenario. It is hard to believe that any of the opponents will be able to take advantage of this opportunity, but in theory why not.
Hahaha, I don't think PSG is so bad this season mate. We know the statistics of these two teams and can probably determine which one deserves to go through, so the scenario may never be the same as we think now.
Neymar, Mbappe, Messi are great strikers this season with good performances. They have scored as many goals 16 goals during the group stage as a team and for now Mbappe is still the top scorer in the Champions League with his 7 goals. PSG will be weak if the defense is bad, but this season their defense seems good enough to rely on.
I agreed with you in this season we have some positive development in this team PSG even their two back to back draw matches are looking for few answers but still they can do good fight against Bayern Munich which is surely currently in the best shape after having few bad matches in Bundesliga their performance in Champions League is at their best but now this three months break can bring good changes in both teams which is surely going to have good impact on performance in knock out rounds.
Neymar and Messi are surely doing amazing job with Mbappé is also at his best, but his childish behaviour is surely creating problems for himself he needs to do change if he wants to be one of the best in current generation because this is also important for good performance.

I am willing to agree with @ShowOff in this because I know PSG certainly did not play well in the last season. But this season they are looking to perform well. They have played very solid so far this season. And I know it is not going to be easy but I will say that PSG would have had an advantage coming into the match against Bayern Munich. 1413  Economy / Economics / Re: How much longer until paper money is no longer in circulation? on: November 17, 2022, 02:13:09 PM

Given the fact that crypto/Blockchain tech is just starting to blossom, it's likely CBDCs will co-exist with paper money for quite some time. We already have decentralized cryptocurrencies anyways (eg: Bitcoin), so why should we care about Fiat being digitized anytime soon? Just my opinion Smiley

Bitcoin is a decentralized cryptocurrency, but it is being viewed as an investment or a reserve asset like digital gold rather than a currency. CBDC is inevitable, although it will bring us convenience in use and management, but our freedom will completely disappear and I do not want that to happen.
With paper money, you can still avoid government control but with CBDC it will not be possible, just a small action against them will freeze your entire assets in an instant. It's horrible to think about, I don't expect paper money to completely disappear.

Market conditions bad now. I think, Many investors losted Their money. I hope crypto Will pump very closer on 2023.
If this exchanges drama ends now, then it is possible that we will see recovery in the market. As DXY is dropping which is positive for crypto market

However, now is a good time to buy potential altcoins during the market decline
Sure! But stay away from sam's coins

You are absolutely right that we need to stay away from Sam's coins because  their recovery won't be so easy . The current bear market is an excellent opportunity to accumulate  Bitcoin and Ethereum  as both are fundamentally very strong coins. Though current bearish phase seems very severe & we have witnessed consecutive collapse of many big projects like LUNA & FTX but it will definitely end & we will see new ATH of Bitcoin & Ethereum in future.

Are you talking about projects that SBF and Alameda have invested in?  they have invested a lot in different projects, it can be said that the top projects on CMC all have their investment. But I agree with you that no matter what coin SBF has invested in, in the current situation stay away from all altcoins, focus on bitcoin and maybe ETH as 2nd choice. The bear market is not over yet and we are a long way from halving and it is impossible to know which coins will crash next, so stay away from all altcoins.

1416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: November 16, 2022, 08:38:46 PM
Last season Sevilla was in the top 4, but now we see it is difficult to develop, even difficult to get out of the relegation zone.
Sevilla has a chance to stay in La Liga next season if they play an active role in the transfer market this winter. corrected the mistakes at the end of last season, and now they need to get a better squad to survive next season. if they can't afford it, they have to go down in caste.
What we see is a very drastic decline for Sevilla by touching the relegation zone while all the teams are avoiding it but because Sevilla's performance is bad, they have to be satisfied with their current position with 11 points the same as Cadiz. This is bad luck in my opinion for Sevilla.
Even in the Champions League, Sevilla cannot qualify and only enter the European league caste, although there is still hope if management can fix the problem that has made Sevilla shrink in its performance.
I'm still optimistic that Sevilla can survive in LaLiga because they might be able to improve even more.

The first target for them right now should be to get out of the relegation zone. I think there is hope for them because the difference is still not too big in terms of points. They should be able to get out of the relegation zone easily if they’re sure of at least some amount of consistency.

I think not losing against weaker opponents and being able to draw against bigger opponents as well. It’s going to be the mindset for them right now. But the problem is they’re not much weaker opponents, especially the way they are playing right now. As I said the main target is going to be to stay in La Liga.
1417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Not Quitting only a break on: November 14, 2022, 10:08:56 PM
Gambling is a habit so difficult to stop

I agree, because of several factors gambling habit is really difficult to contain. It has something to do with the dopamine that is being produced during a gambling session that keep us wanting to gambling more.  The more we engage in gambling the more it is hard for us to stop.  And whenever we think we already quit and stopped, then comes the time we found ourselves gambling again.  So yeah @OP is correct when we thought we are quitting, what we mean is just taking a break.

You said about dopamine!!

My opinion is that age plays an influential role and makes a difference in this situation.

Whether you get excited or calm while gambling depends on your experience and age.

As long as you are a mature enough gambler, you will be able to control yourself in any situation in which you find yourself. In the event that you lose control, you will have to accept that you lack the necessary experience.

It is common for gamblers to set their limits based on their win-loss ratio when it comes to gambling. It is also relevant to note that gamblers often determine their level of gambling based on their income.

On the other hand, if you are addicted, it will be a different story.
1418  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can roullete be rigged? on: November 14, 2022, 09:56:53 PM
I talk on live roullete in physical casino can it be rigged?

It can be rigged, there are two given method stated in this article that can rig a roullete.

Ball tripping this is intentionally dislodging the ball from the track prematurely to make the ball settle on the desired spot [1]

The other one is by rigging the wheel mechanically by placing or using small blocking pin. [1]

There is no way that an offline casino does have completely rigged roulette games, but sometimes an experienced croupier can be able to bring the roulette game under his control.

If you spend all day working on something and dwell on one thing all day, you will get a better idea of how it is manipulated. As a result, experienced croupiers are able to throw the ball with about 99% accuracy during the course of the game.

Anyway, I talked about physical casinos. Due to the fact that online casinos have different algorithms, it is unlikely that they are rigged as long as there are enough players live on the board.
1419  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hodl tight Bitcoin. We're going to the galaxy on: November 14, 2022, 10:04:07 AM
The accident happened again. Crypto.com mistakenly sent 320K Ethereum which is estimated to be +$400 Million. Like receiving a falling durian, the address that received the wrong delivery was Gateio.

The panic caused by FTX continues to proliferate.
Hodl tight Bitcoin. We're going to the galaxy.

If indeed it was an unexpected accident, then the one who took delivery of 320K Ethereum immediately became a rich man instantly. I can't imagine that that much money could be sent to the wrong address because it shows how careless the person is in sending something (Ethereum) to an address he doesn't know. Whereas before he sends it, he can still check the address to ensure the correctness of the address he will send Ethereum.

Obviously they were trying to create fake evidence for each other, there was no way that such a huge amount of money could be mistakenly transferred. Myself every time I transfer money, I even double check and it can take up to 3 to 4 minutes before I hit the send button let alone this is a huge amount of money.

Although nothing too serious has happened yet, we should still be very careful, do not leave money on crypto.com, gate at this time. Proof of reserve is a great idea, exchanges that are shady about storing user assets will be phased out soon.

In my opinion, the role of the government is very important to provide education about cryptocurrencies, maybe it can be included in economic lessons so that there is no need for special fields, 6 months in my opinion is enough time to make students understand Cryptocurrencies and Blockchain.
maybe it doesn't matter if it's only included as an additional lesson in economics in the investment chapter. but regarding Blockchain and other tech-based things in crypto it might be suitable to be included in the information and communication sub-course. the point is at least there should be an introduction. But I think in the future this will indeed be done. because the curriculum in schools is always updated every year following the times.

I think blockchain knowledge should be integrated into IT and programming courses. As for crypto investment, it is also part of the financial sector just like the stock market or forex, these things we can learn in training centers or you can learn on your own online. They are not the kind of knowledge that everyone likes or needs, stock and forex trading has been around for a long time and they were never suggested in schools.
