Backed by Cannabis? Where can I read more?
Each coin is being pegged with one gram of marijuana concentrate, we just fixed our wallet/network and the next step is to start planning phase one of the price peg. We will have more information coming soon. Oh okay so it's not backed by cannabis... yet (I hope) We're going to be phasing it in, so during phase one for a single week we will be exchanging 1 coin for 1 gram at participating dispensories, and then some time later we're going to have phase two and phase it in for two weeks, and we're going to keep taking steps toward a fully active price peg. We had a rather tumultuous past few months with a couple bugs that needed to be fixed in our wallet so now we can finally focus on expansion. We're very enthusiastic about this project big things in the coming months. sounds very good , i will be looking forward to it 1 gram of concentrate is better than 1 gram of bud. Adam Garrity. He has connections in the industry. I don't think he will let the coin just die off and be a failure.

Is there a paper wallet generator for this coin?

Where can I buy some more of this coin?
Right now UTIL is listed only at Cryptsy. Not many cheap coins for sale on cryptsy. What happened to all the coins? Do the owners of bittrex have a fat sac of coins that they stole from everyone when it got delisted? Bittrex is so mean. They should really get everyone their coins somehow. Keeping them seems illegal. They should email you a paper wallet or something.

The whole thing with cryptocoins is that they are transparent.
If you can't follow all the coins from creation to end, you mine as well create a sql database that stores all the coins and get rid of the blockchain.

Somebody did it again! Difficulty is 100 now. Any idea of when the gravity well will be fixed?
Ridiculous isn't it? I'm chatting with the dev right now to see if we can address this sooner than later. We're also considering adding in a pair of globally distributed checkpoint servers. -dvd It seems that this coin has been abandoned @TheLittleDuke is the dev now. Things take time. He is registering a real legal charity. I think there's some big things coming. It might take a year though. There was talk about moving to PoS, so that might happen sometime. PoW really holds down the price, which then turns off any new supporters. The primary issue we're having at the moment is the codebase GIVE was generated from isn't quite up to par for doing PoS --we're experimenting in the testnet with different block and transaction types to see if we can pull it off cleanly. The OTHER tack we're taking is looking at doing a coin-exchange from Give 1.0 to Give 2.0 possibly via Bittrex -- we have our attorney reviewing it now -- to make sure that we do not run afoul of any securities issues -- which having a non-profit manage it makes the matter less likely. The REAL exchange will come when https://doabitofgood.com launches its "under-writer" program later this summer -- just like any non-profit (think of National Public Radio who's generous under-writers provide support...) -- we want to offer the opportunity for companies and sponsors the ability to "pay whatever they want" for a charities coins -- just like a silent-auction that many charities hold now. You have to be into GIVE for the right reasons and if you're here to make money for your own benefit, then this is not likely the right coin for you to be involved in - IMHO. -dvd Do not do that way of swapping coins! It will be called a scam and the coin will suck. It's only useful if you are looking to do a pump n dump n disappear. Read this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=880220.0I have started some guidelines for how to perform a transparent swap. I haven't heard of anyone following those coin swap guidelines before. GIVE could set the standard for how to properly do a coinswap. The whole thing with cryptocoins is that they are transparent. If you can't follow all the coins from creation to end, you mine as well create a sql database that stores all the coins and get rid of the blockchain.

Is there a working [URO] thread? They all seem shut down.

I liked DNotes too, but more than a year ago my investor forced me to sell 100s of thousands @ about 190 satoshi. In my opinion, DNotes is in top 5-10 cryptocurrencies if we talk about steady and natural growth. No hype, no pumps & dumps and it was even 10% premined. Maybe a 10% premine is a good thing. It gives the devs something to make valuable. Why should the miners get 100% of all the coins?

public dev is important. anonymous devs can disappear to start new coins.
I'll invest in anonymous stuff but it's risky. There can be good reasons why someone is anonymous so you can't just ignore them all.
I like to know the dev. If they have kids and a job... that sucks. If they are free and fully committed, im in for sure.
Every coin is different. You have to do lots of research if your plan is to accumulate and hold for years.

There's probably 50 good coins to invest in now. I'm not really sure which one is the best. Pegging is cool, social website that integrate wallets are cool, anonymous is cool, fully decentralized is cool.

GetGems, very active and involved with the community, has its beta testers groups for bugs with frequent code updates, social media activity is nice as well. CEO is also active outside the Crypto space promoting the brand, example.GEMZ developers are paid though. They ran an ICO. Once the money runs out, they will have 0 developers. You have to think about that if you are investing in developers.

Anyone know if GeoCoin has or is working on integration with GroundSpeak one of the premier geocaching companies out there? it would grow the coin fast and makes alot of sense.
I doubt GroundSpeak even knows about GEO.

I have had my coins stolen from C-CEX in the past. I can see some people still have their GEO on that exchange. You must withdraw your GEO RIGHT AWAY or your coins will be confiscated. No joke, this is real, they take your coins that you paid for with your own money. Yes, this, do not leave coins on C-Cex. They are a scamming exchange. They always set up their own ICOs on there and then do nothing with the coin after the ICO. If you didn't get you're coins off c-cex you can send them a GeoCoin address and ask them to send your coins to you. I did that for a different coin that got delisted on c-cex and c-cex actually sent the coins to me.

If the main person(s) of MTR are interested in being publicly known, I can try to set you up with some nice videos/interviews.
Of course, being public means you can no longer scam people with no consequences.
Thanks for the offer Fartbags! I have to speak my mind and say, the nature in which you came into our thread and blatantly began FUDDING and disrespecting not only my devs and I, but our community isn't very cool in my book. This type of immature behavior is what's putting a damper within the altcoin space, and more specifically the BitcoinTalk Forum. I have a public appearance already planned, and plan to host The Toshi's (Crypto Awards Ceremony) very soon...you are more than welcome to come and see me speak and present awards to the deserving developers, companies, coins, etc within the FinTech Industry. (I might hire a few different host, but I will most certainly make the appearance) Take Care Fartbags, MasterTrader777 www.ToshiDesk.com/betaNice, When are you planning on going public with who you are? Would it be before or after phase III of the ICO? You sound like a tard and make yourself look like a fool. He already went public with his identity and previous carrer in a coin telegraph artical. Oh, I see CEO Rich Territo. I typed his name into google but nothing came up. Does cointelegraph confirm identities? It's a bit strange that there is absolutely nothing tech related on google regarding this Rich Territo person. toshidesk looks good. It would be hard to believe this was Rich Territos first attempt at software. GOod job if it was your first attempt at tech software.
