1421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀🚀🚀[ANN] Bow Coin : INVEST IN ONE OF THE BEST ALT COIN on: August 13, 2019, 09:56:45 AM

I don't want to believe that the project would be among the scam projects I have experienced in the past. Its impossible to be certain about the legitimacy of any project in this space especially when there's nothing solid to hold claim of. We can only hope that the project would stand the test of time.

It would be clumsy for anyone to give a guarantee for the validity of a project, even if the person is an admin of the project. Most Admin are are salary earners without a deep root in the project. They could be replaced at intervals and only have access to the information which are meant for public consumption.

One cannot give validity of the project. I agree on that. But they can give proof about how the progress is. And conduct AMA to answer any questions from public which will give confidence to the investors.

Yes, that's a good point. The AMA is a potent yardstick of gaining trust from the community. Several persons have questions about the project and would be glad to find answers directly from the CEO or a member of the team. This should be considered as a means of gaining the confidence of potential investors.

AMA is good and I look forward to being part of it when the team is ready for it but it's no guarantee for success because admin and Co cannot tell you anything that can deter you from the project. I feel it's a source of information that will guide the decision wether or not to participate in the project.

Yeah. AMA is usually the place where most participants find it easy to get answers to their questions. You get to see how the team and founders think of their project too.

If they take the questions on the fly and really answer most of them, then yes. If they preselect the questions and level the tough ones aside, no.
1422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BNB become the king of all coins on: August 13, 2019, 09:55:53 AM
I don't think it will be a real to see again Ethereum over the $1000 and I prefer to put my money in the exchange coins like Kucoin shares, Huobi token, and Biannce coin.
This is a pretty good strategy this year. I have invested 40% of the cryptocurrency portfolio in the BNB. Profit from this investment is 150%.

Good thing is that Binance keeps on expanding on all fronts. Technology wise but also with their exchanges. They even have a politically sound strategy and can't really be cracked down. Good growth potential.
1423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ravencoin [RVN] PoW GPU Mining | Asset Transfer Blockchain (Updated ANN) on: August 13, 2019, 09:54:53 AM
Altcoin is dump now, i think it's normal because bitcoin pump so people sell altcoin and buy bitcoin. When we have moment to bullrun altcoin season ?

that is always a good time to buy more if you have some btc.
RVN is an interesting project... so why not have some coins, no matter what the price is right now.

Price should matter! If you think it is interesting but you don't see any upside, would you buy? Wink But I agree Raven has a good chance to go up a lot.
1424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just me or is the market dominance of BTC dangerously high? on: July 28, 2019, 09:39:35 AM
Which shows that there is a a little bit less speculation into other alts and more confidence in Bitcoin as the strongest currency.
it usually happens when the pump is only experienced by bitcoin and altcoin doesn't follow it. dominance still belongs to bitcoin and if it continues, it will be bad for altcoin. Bitcoin's popularity is undefeated if he experiences the next pump. and hopefully this time the altcoin follows where bitcoin goes.

It will be bad for altcoin? But it will also be good for Bitcoin. It's important that the best currency wins and Bitcoin is the best in da house.
1425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin crush the altcoins?! on: July 28, 2019, 09:38:44 AM
I don't think like that, Bitcoin is the center of crypto currencies and altcoins are complementary.
Bitcoin and Altcoin have different roles, therefore they complement each other rather than destroy each other.
They are not helping each other, the same thing that they competing in the market and to find out who gonna be win the race. If they have potentials, then it have to believe that they could make it but somehow, bot all of them don't have.
Bitcoin is very promising than of altcoins that is why investors give more investment in this coin than of altcoins and so it always been on the top among others.
altcoins compete with each other for investors not familiar with the project, and at the same time really complement each other, in working on the same exchanges than it is profitable to trade and than to move funds between exchanges.

They complement each other? How? Most of them are plane copycats so I can't see how they would complement each other.
1426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any altcoins that are Standalone? on: July 28, 2019, 09:37:57 AM
Can someone give a a few list of altcoins that doesn't depend on bitcoin and ETH,the coins that are stand alone and only surge in value on their own?

Well, you fit the project HARMONY which is already at Binance. They build their own blockchain for global use. So maybe they are our new hope. VEIl is an anonymous coin. Also, the novelty is well moving on CMC.

Harmony got a lot of buzz and I think they really had a rocket start at Binance. One of the more promising projects.
1427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is regulation good or bad? on: July 28, 2019, 09:37:04 AM
I didn't know there is either or when it comes to regulation? It can be both. It can be good today and bad tomorrow because something has changed. It is important that regulation is also flexible to serve innovation.
1428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin crush the altcoins?! on: July 24, 2019, 04:23:10 PM
Bitcoin crush the altcoins definetly or the altcoins will bounce back like December 2017, January 2018?
What's your opinion?

the market situation is not similar to end of 2017 at the moment. Because i remeber that altcoins were also strong since the beginning of 2017 till end of 2017 and they raised sharply at the end. but now the altcoins lost too much value for more than 1 year.
Many altcoin has a very low value compared to the highest peak in 2017 because it is a good time to choose some good altcoin and keep it until the end of the year. Some new altcoin with low trading volume and small value is also a new investment direction for investors who like altcoin.

Many altcoins lost in value because they were extremely overpriced. Most of them are worthless anyway. The market was hyped up like crazy.

1430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BNB become the king of all coins on: July 24, 2019, 04:19:58 PM
Yes, now clearly binans is the first exchange in the market with very large volumes and it is developing ,bnb is the first token that began to be used in ieo , I think now it is the best investment in the market.
and also binance be first exchanges in crypto market that have their own blockchain.this is their advantages to attract projects migrate to their chain.and also projects very helpfull for it.if they run in bnb chain they will easily listed in binance dex.this is condition not happen in other platform.they just provide smart contract but not exchanges.

Is Binance also planning to do stuff with smart contracts or will they only use their own chain for the exchange business?
1431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BNB become the king of all coins on: July 16, 2019, 09:52:01 AM
I don't even think that can happen. there are some coins that might be more role for the market globally. while the BNB I think its role is still very much affected by trade or the launchpad of the IEO project that requires a BNB.
The role for the market globally can also take by Ethereum.
But, There are other new platform Dapp like Tron, NEO , waves, Vechain. So, in the future, maybe, Ethereum only used by little project only, imo.

I think Binance and their CEO are trying to bring BNB into a diverse coin. That is proving when they launched Binance DEX and it seems they are deploying a stablecoin for themselves. In the future, I think Binance will be available everywhere in this market

They are positioning themselves quite well, but there are a lot of years to come where we will see how Binance uses this to their advantage.
1432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just me or is the market dominance of BTC dangerously high? on: July 16, 2019, 09:49:21 AM
Is the time of altcoins over, or is it just temporary?

Bitcoin has been so dominant as the number 1 coin in the market.

It has retain its dominance of over 50% in the past few months, and that's the trend of the market now but we cannot conclude that altcoins will just become worthless and bitcoin will be the only coin left for trading, that is just temporary, and just like the past trend, when the bull run arrives, everything will change.

The thing is, we came from a big bull run where long FOMO has been happening, it was able to make bitcoin achieve its ATH in a short time and BTC was able to bring altcoins on its uptrend, people now are just more careful and although slowly they have put back their trust and confidence on bitcoin but they  are not touching altcoins yet but soon they will, that's for sure.

Bitcoin will continue to dominate. Most altcoins are dead and if you think about it, nobody really needs most of them. Which is why they are indeed dead. Don't know though, some of them might pump for no reason.
1433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Goldcoin > Bitcoin ? on: July 06, 2019, 05:06:07 PM
Then I looked more in to Goldcoin and saw it has similar features to Bitcoin and Litecoin but with some new features.

Dont you know there is like 1000 Bitcoin copies? It is simple to do it and you can use all bitcoin infrastructure. You dont have to do anything except chose a fancy name.

If I was to launch a coin I would never come up with the idea to call it anything Bitcoin because the branding the real Bitcoin has will just crush you.
1434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin crush the altcoins?! on: July 06, 2019, 05:05:26 PM
It turns out more and more that BTC is simply more useful than anything else. It is accepted more widely, it is more stable than others and it has the strongest ecosystem.
1435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BNB become the king of all coins on: July 06, 2019, 05:03:44 PM
In future maybe there will be much better coins in the market.. Today, i really like BNB and i think it’s already accepted by the community in a nice way. Nevertheless i think there is nothing comparable to Btc at this point. I don’t think BNB will become a king of all coins.

Yo, and there most likely will never be anything that gets close to Btc or even overtakes it. It is just the strongest network.
1436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just me or is the market dominance of BTC dangerously high? on: July 06, 2019, 05:02:26 PM
Dangerously high? It is the most secure payment network on the planet, why do you call that dangerously high? What exactly is dangerous about having such a strong network that drives adoption because it builds trust among people around the globe?
1437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀🚀🚀[ANN] Bow Coin : INVEST IN ONE OF THE BEST ALT COIN on: July 06, 2019, 05:01:35 PM
The luxury market is constantly evolving, and constantly looking for innovations to expand its product line. The Bow Token, supported by the Bow app, and financially supported by the commercialization of the Bowtie Barber will stand out as a key payment method within the largest brands in the world of luxury.

The largest brand in luxury and of course the first luxury brand that uses, blockchain with cryptocurrency for payments within its platform. You could verify the authenticity of other luxury products not just bow ties. I guess that would come much later with bow partnership

Bow coin has so much in store for the community, the project is also developing a market place where several luxury items would be purchased. The items would be both brand new and fairly used. This would be a good option for swift development of the project.

I think this project choose the wise market target that is the luxury market that keep growing right now and keep evolving. Now they will have a good chance that luxury market and the product will be able to go with the blockchain seems like innovative and new for some people like me.

The concept of the project is Indeed unique and innovative. The team made the best choice in bringing the luxury industry which are in critical need for reliable verification procedure to the blockchain industry. I have a firm conviction, that if the developers and team are committed to the project, the project will be a huge success.

What I don't like is that they use their thread title for something pointless like "one of the best alt coin" instead of using it to point out what this is good for.

1439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Says Bear Market is BAD? on: July 04, 2019, 05:39:45 AM
There is basically two kinds of people during a bear market: those who suffer from it and those who see it as an opportunity and can buy cheap.

Correct, those who suffer are those who invest for long term but are weak because they panic, short term investors knows how volatile the market so they could cut lose if necessary, and they survive.

I'm a long term investor and I don't feel I'm suffering from bear market as I believe it was just temporary and I was right now, we are back to bullish trend again but still my target range is not yet achieve so I'm still holding now.

Those who suffer are often those who lack further money to average down their buy in prices for their portfolio. It hurts to see others buying when prices are super cheap and you have to go through the bear market with potential losses.
1440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Goldcoin > Bitcoin ? on: July 04, 2019, 05:38:27 AM
Yeap, this coin does not have the resources in marketing but if this coin can prove that it is better than bitcoin, maybe GLC will get some bitcoin market capitalization. But I'm still not sure whether traders and investors will trust this coin. Moreover, this coin is not developed by companies or famous people.

Do you know how much work and time and money went into Bitcoin right now? And still you think a fork comes around the corner and is better than Bitcoin even after almost a decade of coding from the best hackers all around the world?
