Djokovic must have thought that this night is going to be a very relaxed night for him after taking a quick 2-0 lead in sets with little to no resistance from Wawrinka, but then Wawrinka was the old Wawrinka again and gave Djokovic a hard time to take home the 3rd set as well. For a second I was hoping that this could turn into a closer game much more than anyone could anticipate. I even put €0.60 on Wawrinka when he had the lead in the tie break now Cheesy The odds were roughly 50 so why not... But it had to end as it had to end. Deserved win by Djokovic.

It is hard to make a comparison between Arteta and ten Hag to decide who did a better work in the previous season. I think I will go with Arteta instead by a slight margin. I totally agree that there was a golden opportunity to benefit from. But Arsenal's performance on the final weeks just killed their hopes of becoming the champions. But I still don't want to blame them or Arteta too much for that. Because it is always a difficult task to do while you don't have even a few experienced players in your starting lineup.

A young team have always a potential to mess things up after everything looks great for some time. But this season is still a big progress for Arsenal as they finished as the 2nd in the standings and joined the Champions League finally too.

You could see it two ways I think. On the one hand Arteta did a great job simply because nobody expected Arsenal to be leading the table for so long and they played with a system and repeatedly delivered their best performances on the pitch. When everyone thought that this will end rather sooner than later, Arsenal kept going and I think Arteta did a great job there although it wasn't enough to beat Manchester City.

Ten Haag on the other hand had a difficult start into the season with lots of drama and then the danger that came with Ronaldo being turned into a substitute rather than a regular player. I thought that this could be a dangerous turning point for ten Haag when the team keeps losing several games in a row, but he overcame the trouble with solid decisions and also with consistency in his mindset and in his actions. Both deserved a good finish and also a good assessment for their performances as the managers.

That's what has to be considered first. They haven't played with each other yet and it needs a few games at least to see whether they build a great defense duet. But from the looks I would say that this was a good choice and the height of both is remarkable. They are strong in their movements and 1.89 and 1.90 m respectively. That is a defense that is of high quality in any game situation. There could be late corners or free kicks and they can dominate high balls and low balls alike. If you compare that to other defenders who are only 1.80 m or even smaller, it could be the difference that is needed in some of those games when high balls become more common.

I'm just saying something, if Bayern with Min Jae and De Ligt in defense and with a striker like Harry Kane, it will be great to see this team, it could be that the Bundesliga will be very well dominated by an increasingly strong Bayern But the Dortmund that has shown so much? how will he do? It is known that this team is one of the toughest in Germany, and they saw that they had everything to win a Bundesliga, but they could not, sometimes I start to think that if all these signings were demanded by Tuchel to better secure his job and obviously the Team victories, I don't know but I think this Tuchel is giving nice surprises, maybe it's what Oliver Khan wants, to make this team one of the best in the world.

For the next season of the UCL I will like to see the performance of the German teams, because it will be from another world, I don't know, but to see so many stars and that they all manage them well in one team, it's something great, Harry Kane was the complement of a Muller who has been fighting practically alone without a Lewa to help him as before, as I say the Bundesliga, the UCL will be on another level.

Oliver Kahn is gone as he was sacked as he was fired from his position as the chief executive. It was a hefty divorce between Bayern Munich and him as they thought he is going to slap his successor in the face at the after-season party  Grin

The defense will benefit from Min Jae and as I said before having two players of that height in the defense that also have a high mobility at the same time can be a game changer. But in the Bundesliga the Bayern don't even need a game changer. As you have mentioned, Dortmund was served the Bundesliga title on a plate to their table by Bayern and yet Dortmund failed to take it. I have no idea what else has to happen that Dortmund can break this streak of Bayern of 10 consecutive 1st places in the Bundesliga. Everyone who is not a Bayern is hoping for a change and it doesn't even matter who the new champion would be, it is only important that there is a new champion soon.

if last season when bayern was weakened and dortmund had a good squad of players and didn't become champions then i see another 10 years in which bayern will be champions consecutively,. I don't see bayern having opponents, I already said that dortmund profit a lot from selling players, they are very lucky to get good players and sell for a very high price, they have been doing this for years and it has become a good business for them them, so they don't make an effort to buy many expensive players to win the bundesliga

so dortmund's strategy is precisely to get cheap players who are very talented and with that try to go far in the bundesliga, if they manage to win, it's something they will celebrate, but if they don't win it won't affect anything in terms of profits because they will sell their good players, while bayern sees the champions league as their objective, they already know that the bundesliga is something already guaranteed, so their target is the champions league that allows them to get more money and prestige in every season. unfortunately the other teams in the bundesliga have no chance of winning the bundesliga

Dortmund doesn't really get lucky when they buy good and talented young players and sell them for a lot more than they bought them. It is a system as you noted and that is something Dortmund mastered over the years and is now the club I guess with the best transfer history maybe? I can't tell exactly as I am not aware of all the numbers, but I think it is possible that they are the transfer kings in the Bundesliga so to say. But it is not like Dortmund wants to do that. They have tried to make a move for Haaland and for Belingham, but these players have different plans before Dortmund gets even close to changing their minds. The real problem is that players who want to win titles know that Dortmund is not a good club because, right, Dortmund is even failing when Bayern is overwhelmed with internal problems.

Inter Milan recaptured their glory days under the leadership of their charismatic coach and showed remarkable teamwork and resilience against Juventus for the next season. Their journey to the finals was nothing short of thrilling to fans worldwide but there was no stopping their performance after that. Romelu Lukaku will be able to play in the second leg against Juventus after being released from ban, although Inter Milan are good for next season. The president of the Italian Football Federation himself lifted the ban against him.
Inter's performance was quite bad during the early till middle of season but everything changed once lautaro has got its rythm with lukaku. The combination between those players have been successfully bringing intermilan to the final of UCL but it was failed in getting UCL trophy against manchester city. Even intermilan's president was not expecting it to happen with intermilan. The result from last season was quite good for intermilan. Inter was still able going to home with 1 trophy from copa italia.

Although Inter Milan's performances were not consistent at the start of the season, the team gradually stabilized. And we see excellent performance from the team. The team qualified for the Champions League final and finished third in the Serie A table. Martinez and Lukaku's performances were excellent. Inter Milan's attack was very strong. But their defence was weak. They conceded 42 goals in 38 Serie A matches. Inter Milan could not dominate Serie A because of the weak defence. And so if Inter Milan wants to win the Serie A title next season, the first thing they need to do is strengthen their defence.

It was a rocky path for them but they passed it with flying colors. They didn't start well and they also had some issues to preserve consistency as soon as they performed well and tried to carry the performance over to the next game. But as the end of the season got closer, the game became very consistent actually and they had a well-balanced strategy and also increased their performance in their attacking game. They knew that they could score any time as Martinez and the other striker became so reliable. I remember when I didn't like to watch them a lot because they were so passive and defensive, but that changed quite a lot over the last year and hopefully they'll continue with it.

I didn't read about the salary that was offered to him, but it was probably substantially higher than he would have gotten either at Chelsea or at Inter Milan. But I think he is in a situation in his career where money still isn't everything and he wants to play a few more seasons in the Champions League and win some titles if possible. Not some titles in the Champions League, but in general. I guess he thinks that there were some misunderstandings in recent years that he wants to clean out from his chronology as a player. Inter Milan would be the best destination for him to do that and I still think that both the club and the player will do what they can to sort that out.

If we check statistics in Serie A actually Lukaku did not contribute much to Inter from 25 matches Lukaku scored 10 goals and 6 assists but in the Champions League a little better 8 matches 3 goals overall not too impressive. Lukaku's best career in 2020/2021 when he got several awards after moving to Chelsea his career seemed dim and now he is 30 years old so I thought he only had 3 years to maintain his career, besides the Saudi League and Inter who else wants to approach Lukaku? I have never heard of another club want to bring Lukaku.

I know that it is complicated, but the numbers you mentioned are ok, aren't they? If a player transfers during the winter break I think it is never really easy to perform the best they can immediately. Considering that and the lack of practice he had since he was also sitting on the bench quite a lot before he came back to Inter, scoring 10 goals and giving 6 assists means 16 goal participations in 25 games. He didn't start all of those 25 games either. If he can repeat that for a few years with that average participation per game, I think he would be worth some money.

From what I could see, Mbappe only stayed at PSG because he believed that the club's management would do everything to make the team strong enough to win the Champions League, although in some interviews Mbappe said that winning the champions league wasn't everything, and that even if they didn't win the champions league he would stay at PSG, with the departure of messi and some other players and the coach, it was obvious that he wouldn't want to stay many more years at psg, with this new coach PSG won't go far in the champions league
even in Ligue 1, PSG will have many problems, without messi they would have a big shortage and Mbappe and what else would be left feeling this emptiness because messi often made good ball passes for Mbappe to score a goal, they were a good team , while neymar will stay in the team but we all know that he never plays anything during the whole season, he is more walking than playing, I wonder why the hell the PSG management makes such meaningless decisions constantly. they don't sell neymar, they keep hiring coaches without any great achievement in the champions league, they keep hiring players without much relevance, I honestly don't understand what psg's goals are
They tried everything they can to make the team strong enough, but their thinking was too narrow minded. They thought that the more money you spend, the more goals you score. That is not true and will never become true because it needs more than that and first and foremost it needs the right coach at the right time. The final against Bayern Munich was the closest they ever got to winning the Champions League, but leaving that season aside they had horrible results sometimes even when all of the stars were available to play. They need to do a complete overhaul, but still in my opinion it is a mission that is almost impossible for them to achieve.

PSG management spent a lot of money. But they cannot make a perfect squad. Despite having many star players in the PSG squad, this team could not be called strong. Because their performance was mediocre. PSG management thought that adding star players to the squad would make them stronger. They forgot the role of the coach behind a squad. Every season we have seen PSG's erratic performances due to the lack of an experienced coach. If PSG could hire an experienced coach in addition to buying star players, then maybe we would have seen a better performance from PSG.

But the results don't have to follow what is on paper regarding star players and also a star coach. For instance, when Guardiola was the coach of Bayern Munich they couldn't win the Champions League and when he became the coach of Manchester City, it also took him 7 years until he could win it with his team. But that doesn't mean the team was bad in the years before their success. Sometimes there are little details that decide about winning or not winning the title, but those details don't always tell the truth about the strength of a team. Manchester City was good enough before this win as well.

PSG is the leading team in their domestic league and anything else would be worrying as that is the least those star players should do as their job. Even if they have an experienced coach they would still be far away from winning the treble.

With De Ligt, a very good central defender will be created with Min-Jae's arrival in Bayern. And with a quality striker, they can achieve great success next year and dominate the league again. De Ligt has become a player who has made a huge contribution to the team. We can watch this duo in Bayern for many years.
De Ligt and Min Jae are central defenders with similar skills and styles. Their combination can bring troubles for Bayern Munich defense system at the center. They will hardly support each other and cover weakness of their defensive team-mate at the center of their defense.

A classic central defender pair will be like Rio Ferdinand and Vidic in Manchester United, Carvalho and Terry in Chelsea and more. They have different skills, weaknesses and strengths and can support each other to get a strong defense system. De Ligt moved to Bayern Munich from Juventus where they had Bonucci and Chiellini, that defensive pair is like two pairs from Premier League years ago.
Min Jae is indeed projected to become a partner with De Ligt in defense. The presence of the South Korean player will certainly make Bayern Munich's defense difficult to penetrate. Yes, your statement is correct, the duet of De Ligt and Min Jae is very similar to some of the world-class duets we have seen before. But of course I don't want to look any further because they haven't played together yet.

Thomas Tuchel is of course very happy with the arrival of Min Jae, but I still hope he will soon bring in a striker who has a high scoring instinct, because now Bayern Munich really needs it.

That's what has to be considered first. They haven't played with each other yet and it needs a few games at least to see whether they build a great defense duet. But Lukaku would have to agree. I don't know any details about his contract, but Chelsea want to have a player in their team that is not willing to play the best he can and Lukuku can be a moody guy, which also reflects upon his efforts in a game.
Lukaku still really wants to be at Inter. And even he also rejected the very high salary offer from the Arab League in favor of Lukaku. Yes, it's true, Chelsea doesn't seem to suit him very well and indeed, the competence of the players is not only in their skills but also in their mood and attitude. Apart from that, it seems that Lukaku is quite suitable for Inter's style of play.

I didn't read about the salary that was offered to him, but it was probably substantially higher than he would have gotten either at Chelsea or at Inter Milan. The great profit doesn't get them very far. As ajiz138 pointed out correctly, it will not be easy for Inter Milan to find a goalkeeper of the same class.

Goalkeepers in general are hard to be found when they really want one who belongs to the top 10 or even top 5 in the world. I would say that even a top 10 goalkeeper is not available right now and if one was available, it would cost more than 50 million. I think it started with Alisson Becker that transfer fees for goalkeepers also went up and are now closer to 100 million than they are to 50 million.

But if Inter Milans wants to attack again in all competitions they have no choice but to find a goalkeeper of the same level.

True it is hard to find but they are still goalkeepers at a good level that hasn't been in much targeted yet by the clubs like Livakovic. Take the situation of Mendy until he was approached by Saudi club. Mendy was bought below 20m Euro and Livakovic also is having interest but none at the level of Inter with around 7m Euro bid. Yes, it is bit hard to find but if they have good scouts then I think they really can find themselves a good buy. I hardly see much competition between the clubs when it comes to buying a goalkeeper as compared to players at other positions.

It is a bit different for goalkeepers because it is possible more often that a good goalkeeper goes undetected for a while and more focused scouting is required. For a striker you can just have a look at how many goals he scored even at a younger age. Not that this is the only statistic that's important here, but judging a goalkeeper with potential is a bit more difficult than judging a striker. The younger the player, the more knowledge and intuition a scout needs. There are good goalkeepers out there but it is also one of those transfers that come with more risk whether the goalkeeper was the best choice or not.
792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: July 02, 2023, 05:16:57 PM
Pep Guardiola is not only a great coach but in the figure of a shrewd coach. He has proven capable of inventing tactical innovations for every team he leads. Since he first handled Manchester City, he has been able to make Manchester City's game always develop from season to season. Last season, Pep Guardiola changed John Stones' position from a central defender to a defensive midfielder. Then, there is Manuel Akanji who has been transformed into an all-round defender.
Indeed, it is worth admitting that the tactics possessed by a Pep Guardiola are very great because they are able to change players for the better on the lines he wants so that the Manchester City team really looked stronger last season and this was proven by the treble winner they got. Next season Manchester City will still be very strong even though several other teams are also trying to get stronger, but Pep Guardiola will of course always make a better tactic in order to get another treble winner next season.

Wow, if Pep Guardiola can defend the treble winner title or get the treble winner again next season, then that is an achievement and or achievement which is of course very extraordinary. Due to the fact, to defend just one title is in fact very difficult, but you hope and say Pep Guardiola gets back the treble winner next season. That's the craziest or probably the most incredible thing I've ever heard of but who knows, that miracle will actually come true.

Defending the treble in the Premier League is more difficult than defending the treble in the Bundesliga. In the FA Cup and in the Premier League you have some of the hardest opponents in European soccer in every single competition. Winning the Champions League back to back and then also defending the FA Cup against teams like Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and some others is impressive, but also going the full distance over 38 games and defend the EPL title is something that is very special.

Choupo-Moting was not their plan initially but even his sudden shine could not save Bayern Munich in the past season. He is not a striker who can play well in big matches and we saw that weakness in World Cup 2022 with Cameroon and with Bayern Munich in Champions League.

I think that Choupo Moting is a very good player and i am surprised that he never really made it into the starting eleven for a very big club in his career. He has everything that a player needs to be a great striker and in addition to that he also has a very smooth technique in my opinion. When Lewandowski was injured two seasons ago Choupo Moting showed a really great performance. Sadly he was injured during large parts of the second round of the Bundesliga in the last season so he could not really show his capabilities there.
That being said, he is already 33 years old so Bayern definitely needs a new number 9 now that really had the potential to replace Lewandowski over a whole season.

I don't quite agree as he is a good striker for an average team and then he performed very well for Bayern Munich, but he is still far from the quality of a player like Lewandowski, Benzema and most of the other world class strikers.

It is not about him scoring insufficient goals in the Bundesliga, but when Bayern wants to go for all three titles, it is a necessity to have one of those strikers who are almost guaranteeing goals for the team and if they don't score, it is still important that they contribute otherwise and keep the opponent busy and exhausted with their defense. Choupo-Moting is alright I would say, but he is not what the Bayern club needs.

I didn't expect to see Ødegaard's name to be connected to PSG. That is weird because he has a lovely career so far. It started with a hard time in Real Madrid but then he found his way in the Premier League and is now one of the leaders of the Arsenal team and he developed and improved his skills immensely. I was skeptical about his career at several points, but now he arrived at the country, at the club and also plays his position very well. I wonder if PSG would even mean a personal improvement to him. It is good as it is it seems to me.

In fact PSg doesn't need to hire any player at this time not even Ødegaard or any other player because they are still seeking a new coach however according to some news Luis Enrique is in Paris right now and we just need to wait for him to officially sign his contract with PSG and then he can ask PSG to hire players.
Honesty I can't wait to see how PSG is going to perform with Enrique

https://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2023/luis-enriques-arrival-as-psg-manager-delayed/

It is quite difficult if you need both at the same time. PSG needs new players and they need a new coach and they can't just sit their and wait what others are doing on the transfer market. They have to take action as well especially if they know that searching a coach could still take more time. But yes the problem is that they also need to consider the philosophy of a coach or otherwise there could be the first problems in the making before the new coach even arrived let alone has signed a contract with PSG. But I also think that new coaches would like to know whether Mbappe stays.
796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: July 01, 2023, 05:05:59 PM

Yep! Now I think about it even more and maybe his move to the MLS is a strategic move that will be even more profitable even against the background that he turned down contracts from Saudi Arabia? If so, then this is a sophisticated game involving several sides at once, and Messi’s “triumphant” refusal of not returning* to the national team should be expected very close to 2026.

* I hope everyone will understand me correctly, since double negation in English is taken into account differently than in many others.

You get the idea" Wink

I think that this is a sophisticated game, yes. I am not sure about his return to the national team, but I am sure that he is making money that is in similar spheres than the contracts from Saudi Arabia and those contracts in the USA will be long-term contracts that guarantee him income for whatever is related to him and has to do with soccer. Seriously, this guy isn't putting down his signature for anything below value. He doesn't need to, in comparison to other sports stars he deserved where he is now. Federer is the same in tennis. Whether it is strange or not when he signs a 300 million dollar deal with a sponsor, these are the amounts that the stars can rake in. Messi has done the same and when he says it was not about the money for him, I believe him. It was not about 500 million at the end of each year, but maybe it was about 2 billion over the course of the next 8 years. The whole Saudi Arabia thing isn't even dead yet. Messi will forever be the guy with 7 Ballon d'Ors. They will try to do business with him around the year 2030 no matter what he is doing in between.

How can you say that he will not be responsible? He captained the Argentine squad in 2022 during Qatar World Cup. And if he reverses his decision and takes part in the 2026 edition, then obviously he will be the captain. Perhaps this is also one of the reasons why Messi stated that he won't be part of the squad for 2026 World Cup. If something goes wrong, then he will end his international career on a bad note. And by 2026, he maybe well past his prime and I am not sure whether he will be able to play as good as he is doing now.

The fact that the peak of Messi is far behind is already visible now (it has been seen for a long time lol), and not participating in the World Cup 2026 is a reasonable decision. The problem is that he is a big brand and his participation will be beneficial for the organizers and everyone in general (except for the Argentinean national team), so one way or another he can be persuaded to participate.

His peak is behind and I agree with that, but he is still a great contributor to a team. I am not going to start the discussion whether he should play another World Cup in 2026 or not. I am not making that decision and therefore I am fine with whatever will be decided then.

But you said something that is very important to consider. Messi is a global brand! If he is healthy enough and also strong enough to play the World Cup, his sponsors also have a genuine interest in seeing Messi play the World Cup. They could offer him additional bonuses if he decides to play it. There are lots of tools to persuade him and I think the most important tool is his engagement in the MLS itself. If he is in shape and still playing for Inter Miami, the effect it would have if he participates would be of significant importance to the MLS, but also to the hosts of the 2026 World Cup, including the USA of course. It won't be an easy decision for him because there will be a lot of external influence. I call it influence instead of pressure because I believe that Messi is in a position to decide what he thinks is best, but there is still pressure as well from outsiders.

Right the loan is over and Inter Milan would have to make an offer that Chelsea accepts. But Lukaku could get into a complicated situation when Chelsea received an offer from Saudi Arabia that is above that from Inter Milan, Chelsea would want to sell him to Saudi Arabia but he doesn't want to go there. But if he stays in Chelsea and Pochettino already made clear that Lukaku isn't part of his plans, he could end up sitting on the grandstand and not even be nominated for the games in the Premier League. That would be the worst case scenario for him but also an asshole move by Chelsea.
I feel that Inter Milan will not get a second agreement to borrow Lukaku again from Chelsea. Because for now Chelsea is one of the teams that has sold more players and this option might also be exercised with Lukaku. if inter milan can't afford to buy Lukaku from Chelsea it could be that Lukaku will go to another team.

Indeed, the Saudi Arabian team is very financially strong in recruiting star players. I think only saudi arabia team is front to get Lukaku because no other team really wants to get Lukaku in this season window. I also heard that Ac milan wants to buy Lukaku, but are they really serious.

But Lukaku would have to agree. I don't know any details about his contract, but Chelsea want to have a player in their team that is not willing to play the best he can and Lukuku can be a moody guy, which also reflects upon his efforts in a game.

In Chelsea it wasn't successful from day one when he arrived back then. The best way going forward would be to find an agreement with Inter Milan if they are interested in keeping him a few more years. Lukaku wants a reliable contract and Chelsea wants some money. Even if other clubs offer more, what can they do if Lukaku isn't willing to go elsewhere?

From business end of things, I think it will turn out to be very good for Inter if you ask me. At worst, they will have to search for a new goalkeeper but they will really make a great profit out of Onana sale if you ask me. Yes, they will lose a very strong goalkeeper but guess maybe they have someone already in mind to replace Onana in the squad.
It is a profitable business from free agents to be able to sell 50/55 million if this scenario occurs, while Inter Milan can buy a goalkeeper at a lower price but of course you are right it will not be easy for Inter to find a goalkeeper of Onana's class anymore because already have extraordinary abilities.

I think Inter Milan is currently considering it, if for example Inter is ready to let go then the negotiations from Manchester United won't take long because Erik Ten Hag still wants goalkeeper Onana to be included in their project plans with Manchester United.

Ha if it was that easy they would do it, but what you mention here is something that they have been quarreling with for quite a while now. They are still hoping for some younger talents from their own youth to finally tackle the challenge and make it into the first team of Bayern Munich. That would save them a lot of money and there wouldn't be the urgency all the time to do something about their offensive problems. But there is no Thomas Muller right now in their youth teams. Muller was the discovery of the year back then when Louis van Gaal gave him a chance. But the business has become too fast and you can't be patiently waiting for a talent to emerge from your own youth teams, you have to solve them problem immediately with cash. The chances for young talents from the own youth teams are also vanishing as they don't have time to prove they could be worth a try.
Actually talking about current talent there is one that can be looked at for next season like now they will try to maximize Ryan Gravenberch or Musiala but indeed this is back again they are only midfielders trying to improve the quality of attacks but there is still no striker who can be used as benchmark in this case.
As you said buying with money is a short way to do it but until now they haven't done that yet and their focus is still on Kane. I was expecting other options but until now when talking about strikers Bayern still seem to be focused on Kane and when that doesn't work it will be a bit of a problem.

There is again something in the making around Kane and this time it has been officially confirmed by Bayern that they sent an offer to Tottenham trying to transfer Kane for €70 million. But so far it seems that Tottenham refused the offer although Bayern and Kane have agreed upon the terms for a contract. That is what the news say but it is worthless as long as Tottenham doesn't agree to sell him for €70 million. Bayern knows that they don't have that many options to fix that problem now but I can see how Bayern is struggling to pay more for Kane. He isn't young anymore and the closer they get to the 100 million for this transfer, the higher the risk if course. If he gets injured, it would be a horrible situation for them as they would be in the same situation again.
Because indeed 70 million will not be looked at considering Tottenham's condition is still the same as only wanting to release 100 million+ for a Kane.
But there is an interesting thing now that the 70 million bid rejected is reportedly now Bayern back off the hunt for Kane and looking for other alternatives at this time.
Don't know if this is just their push and pull plan or if this is really the end of the Bayern and Kane drama but right now there are some reports suggesting they are trying to approach Osimhen for a new target.
Although it is said in this case it looks like it will be more difficult because Bayern only dared to pay 100 million for Osimhen even though looking at the current conditions Napoli opened an offer of 180 million for this player.
I don't know, but it looks like this offer is just playing, especially considering PSG have prepared 150 million for Osimhen if Mbappe really leaves this season.

That is some interesting information you are sharing here, but I get what they are thinking at Bayern Munich. Paying 100 million for Kane gets them to the level where it doesn't matter whether they put more money on top of it and get a younger striker with a long future. Kane is 5.5 years older than Osimhen and if you divide the potential transfer fee by the years that Osimhen would have left, he is most likely the better investment for Bayern. But 180 million are new heights and they have never had a deal that was even close to that. Napoli has time and can try and see what might be possible, but I doubt that any other club would be willing to pay as much.
