981  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: April 10, 2023, 11:07:23 PM
Based on the opinion polls done by different organisations with the sample around 1500 people on different timeline through this year, it had favoured Nayib Bukele to be the next President. We don't know how the outcome could change in real-time polling. For now his popularity haven't declined. Chivo wallet is developed by the government and for better understanding this could've been suggested by the government. This doesn't mean people couldn't use any other wallets. It depends upon the knowledge the people have over cryptocurrency. The wallet can't be directly connected to the development stagnation or keeping track of users transaction.
First Chivo was developed with Algorand infrastructure, I recommend you give this thread a read
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5380805.msg58956953#msg58956953
To continue, I remind you that every Salvadoran is forced to do the kyc to use the Chivo wallet, therefore it is automatically associated with an ID that keeps track of every movement of that wallet. Among other things, it has been ascertained that the bitcoins are transacted from the Chivo wallets and then subsequently credited to one's own, provided that one can speak of "holding" because in reality the private keys are not provided.

Instead as you say, it is true that other wallets could be used such as electrum but unfortunately there is a lack of education especially in a country like El Salvador where the majority is made up of illiterates, and which Bukele knew very well how to maneuver with the initial 20 dollar drop .

Why do you sound so angry in regards to the Chivo wallet matter mendace?  Yes.. sure it is a government controlled wallet, and sure people should attempt to know the difference between any kind of wallet that is government controlled and various other bitcoin options, just as they should realize differences between holding their value inside of various custodial solutions (whether government sponsored or some other kind of third party, such as a financial institution).

Yes, some people do not know about these matters, but they are being precluded from either finding out "what's up" or even paying attention, when the government itself is telling them that they do not need to use the Chivo wallet.

I doubt that the El Salvadorean govt is being as disingenuine as you are attempting to argue and surely losing credibility if the facts do not really back up what you are saying in terms of what governments do.. versus giving options to people that they would not otherwise have, which is to freely use (transact in, store or otherwise use) bitcoin without fear of prosecution or persecution, as is the case in some other places in which the legal status is way less clear.

If you had not noticed, El Salvador is in fact the only government in the world that has both gone as far as it has to legalize bitcoin in terms of categorizing it as legal tender, and they do not even appear to be devolving into shitcoinery, yet..... so yeah, sure there can be some reasonable assertions that the Chivo wallet was not a very good product, but it did seem to be promoted as a way to incentivize all qualified citizens to claim $30 of bitcoin (or was it $30 in dollars in order to download the Chivo Wallet?  I don't know and it really does not matter too much regarding the points that I am making) , and yeah, maybe it would have been better for individual citizens to refrain from collecting their $30 or maybe just collect their $30 and then use other forms of bitcoin or lighting network wallets?  Individuals have to weigh for themselves about what option that they want to employ, and the mere fact that they may well be "illiterate" as you claim, does not either resolve them from responsibility or automatically support your largely nonsensical claim that they were being taken advantage of... nonsense.

Although it is sometimes quite the hassle to read your entire posts JayJuanGee Wink, I usually take the time to do it and in most cases I find something that is valuable and sticks out from the rest (in my opinion).

"Giving options to people that they would not otherwise have"

This is how I understood the approach in El Salvador as well. Nobody has to use that stuff, but everybody can. @mendace I would understand the point you make when there was no "option", but a mandatory action to be taken by El Salvador citizens.

When a CBDC will be introduced, that thing is most likely not going to be an option and it also probably won't allow you to transfer any of your CBDC out of the network such that you can use your CBDC as you wish, let alone anonymously.

It is obvious why they asked for people to go through KYC. If there is a financial incentive involved, KYC is essentially a must as otherwise some people would claim it multiple times. Yes there are possibilities to somehow airdrop it and provide addresses such that privacy is retained, but I guess that everybody would argue anyway that the government knows who belongs to which address. I understood this El Salvadorian approach really as one where they wanted to get the masses involved, allow them to familiarize themselves with the technology with a not too small amount and without the fear to do something wrong and risk money that they couldn't afford to lose. This way they could play around because it was money they never owned anyway.

It was a boostrapping attempt because making Bitcoin legal tender but not having a kind of critical mass using it severely undermines the chances of success for the entire project.

I would be more careful when one day Facebook offers you to use their digital currency than when the El Salvador government wants to hand out §30 in Bitcoin for free while having made Bitcoin legal tender. El Salvador made step 1 before step 2. If the decentralized currency Bitcoin wasn't legal tender in El Salvador, I would rather agree with you and recommend people to be more careful about their decision. But in this case the government is sitting in the same boat as their people.
982  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: April 10, 2023, 02:52:38 PM

I think initiatives like these are highly interesting There are also some big names and companies involved when it comes to teaching and funding. But I have a split opinion on that. We don't know whether there are certain conditions tied to those fellowships, but when El Salvador launches the initiative to educate high profile blockchain infrastructure developers, what is the chance that they go abroad rather than stay in El Salvador? Or does it even matter if they go abroad, since there is still some promotional effect when they talk about their education and where they received it?

I am not fully aware of the exact plan that El Salvador has. As far as I understand they intend to attract business and workforce to El Salvador. I get the business point of view for potential tax advantages. So the strategy could be that they attract businesses through financial incentives and in turn these businesses would then be able to pay competitive salaries to the guys who are now getting education on the highest level. Does that make sense? Any opinions on that?

If in the match later Osimhen will still be absent due to injury, then Milan's chances will be slightly superior in this match. It was clear from the meeting between the two of them in the domestic league, how difficult it was for Napoli to score a goal in that match and they had to be willing without being able to score a single goal. What is clear is that Napoli's defense also needs to be repaired ahead of the first leg match against Milan in the QF round later, it could be the same destruction as before if Spalletti fails to fix it.
Osimhen injury isn't that bad and I think he will be ready to be back on the pitch when he takes on AC Milan in the UCL. but there is no definite certainty because anything can happen meaning that if the recovery goes well then he will return quickly to the team but if there are problems during the recovery period then I am sure he will be absent when facing AC Milan in the UCL.

for ac milan maybe the absence of osimhen will be used as best as possible for them to play aggressively like they did in the serie A when they beat napoli with a score of 0-4. the first leg will take place at the sansiro which is an advantage for ac milan to win if they are able to play well.

Osimhen would be a big loss for Napoli if he really misses the game, but Spalletti has already provided a positive update about his injury and expressed optimism that everything will go well for him. They wouldn't have taken even the slightest risk when it comes to Osimhen. I know a team should never depend too much on a single player, but as much as I would like to agree with that idea, most of the top teams have a few players that are irreplaceable 1:1 and that is the reason why they actually are a top team. Osimhen perfectly fits into exactly that squad he is now playing for.

Regarding Haaland, no comment, huh? Cheesy The guy returns and scores two goals and then gets a break. Could have even scored another hattrick if it wasn't the break given by Guardiola that stopped him. What I noticed when I watched those goals he scored is that it doesn't even look like it is hard for him to get those two balls and put them exactly where he wants them to be. I know he is not a model (Wink), but his face is as if the attempt if effortless in itself. The header for example, he runs around his opponent, nods the ball into the net and that's it. I am looking forward to much to the game between Manchester City and Bayern Munich, but I think this is a 60:40 game in favor of Manchester City. Bayern wants more needed a lucky shot to win the game today because they don't know what to do with the ball when they enter the danger zone of the opponent. Maybe it is too much of players like Sane and Musiala and not enough Lewandowski, for obvious reasons.

Real Madrid's loss didn't surprise me as I thought that most of them who are first choice for the Champions League would also be very careful in this game. That will be another interesting game between Real Madrid and Chelsea.

987  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jamie Dimon CEO of Chase Bank on Banking Crisis on: April 06, 2023, 08:28:24 PM
Hey guys,

Yesterday Jamie released a 43 page report to shareholders on current events. One of his key talking points was that the banking crisis is not yet over, and that there will be serious repercussions on the markets for years and years to come. This is of course great news for BTC but not so great for the global economy. He basically stated that we're just getting started with the banking crisis here guys, so buckle your seat belts!!!

Just looking at the charts for gold and silver demand what we are seeing here is some serious movement. Gold is almost at a new ATH, silver has a lot more room to grow, and BTC is staying steady in the 28k range.

I would urge all of you to not only continue making your daily sat buys but if you can hack it try to throw some gold and silver into the mix as well. Future outlook is looking a bit dicey on banks, BTC to the MOON! HODL ladies and gentlemen. Have yourself a great day I have to get back to work, but please comment and share!

Cheers,

TREAD

Updated, I can't find the actual source I was reading but this backs it up: https://www.cnbc.com/2023/04/04/jpmorgans-jamie-dimon-says-banking-crisis-is-not-over-yet.html

Jamie Dimon is a strategic genius. This does not include the fact that he gave a shit about Bitcoin. He has many reasons to regret the many negative statements he made and the decision to refrain from it for too long. But as a banker he knows his thing. JP Morgen Chase did very well during the 2007 financial crisis and they are once again well positioned with their general risk exposure to cope with the currently existing liquidity problems. If I was him I would also publish such a paper stating that many players are at risk when you know that your own bank is not.

Their wealth management division is making business with cryptoassets as wealthy clients pushed for getting access to it. I don't know if JP Morgan Chase themselves hold any? It should probably be public I guess, but I haven't looked it up now. He has also talked positively about it such that it has a lot of upside potential. It is not that long ago. But I think his stance still is that he himself wouldn't touch it. But to be honest we wouldn't find out anyway ever and he isn't important enough to make an impact anymore with such a disclosure.

989  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you consider Bitcoin the best asset in the world? on: April 04, 2023, 03:54:58 PM
Do you all consider Bitcoin the best asset in the world or do you think there are other assets with as much potential for safe long term appreciation?

By best asset I mean potential for long term return on investment versus potential for risk. Return vs risk.

Bitcoin investment is really profitable and one of the best assets to acquire but if we think about the assurance, real estate investment is still the best option to choose. Practically speaking, I do agree with the potentiality of Bitcoin to exist long-term but the risk is too high than just acquiring real estate and even in the stock market. If we notice, many rich people have no interest in buying and holding crypto, and probably the reason is that it gives us no assurance, unlike if we are investing in the stock market and real estate, and even investing in gold as well is another option, yet the returns aren't fast unlike in crypto.

We are on a bitcoin forum, and we are all invested in bitcoin, so there will be bitcoin bias here. But to be fair, real estate and tangible assets are a better choice than bitcoin. You are right, most of the rich are still not too interested in bitcoin, what they are most interested in is still real estate, stocks, and gold. Meanwhile, cryptocurrencies are receiving great interest from small capital investors like us who want to get rich with small investments. But that also becomes the advantage of crypto, as it is fair and gives opportunity to everyone.

Not necessarily because OP's question isn't framed very well. It depends on many things and as the first comment said real estate is probably more important as you need a roof over your head. But you could argue that someone who sold his apartment in 2010, bought Bitcoin and lived in a bus for a couple of years will probably say yes today.

What if you find a piece of art in the basement of your grandparents and it turns out that the painting is worth double digit millions? Or if a new Amazon or Tesla were to arise and you are one of the very first to invest in it?

At what aspect is OP looking here? Potential value appreciation? Capital mobility because you can take your Bitcoin wherever you want and nobody can stop you?

There are so many aspects to be considered and if you want to go for a lucky shot and want to see a 50x, some other investment is perhaps better. Building your own company could turn into the best asset you ever owned if you succeed.

To me Bitcoin is a must have part in a portfolio. Whether it is the best remains to be seen. If you are sitting on a 10,000x gain with your Bitcoin now, I would probably say that Bitcoin is the best in your case. Wink
990  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can we experience $80k this year? on: March 28, 2023, 08:34:06 PM
Now looking at the general situation of the market reminds me of the time when the market also appeared new trends and was about to launch an airdrop of a leading project.
I think the next few days will be even more exciting, my long term price expectations for BTC I still think $80000 is still low and that won't be the time when I will take profits.
yes, $80k is still relatively low when compared to ATH 2021 which is $64k because in the next bullish phase the bitcoin price should be 2x - 3x from ATH 2021. not selling and taking profits at $80k is the right move because in the next bullish phase the price will go higher than $80k.

Everything takes time to achieve that target. Bitcoin has the potential to go much higher than the $80k target. But it won't happen overnight as the market will take its time to build its foundations. Those who have seen the last bull market will actually understand how the market reacts and how the bull market starts. So I think it will be difficult for Bitcoin to achieve such a big $80k target within this year.

We got surprised and taken by storm by Bitcoin in the past in both directions and nobody should be astonished about it at all. You can't predict prices in the world outside of cryptocurrencies and research has proven that over and over again. Some Monte Carlo simulations or random walks are driven by coincidence, but have one anchor, which is the point from where they start. That is only rational, nothing else.

Predicting Bitcoin prices doesn't make sense the shorter the time-frame gets. It makes more sense if you put some IFS into your price estimates/wild guesses. If no external event like a crisis of any kind happens, or if the next president is called this name and not that name, and if ... You can't know where Bitcoin is going unless you make it a condition that it is not going to be outpaced by another coin with better foundations/technology that the market deems superior.

The advantage Bitcoin has is the ecosystem and the community, which is part of the ecosystem. Because whatever new you bring to the table, you can't fork or copy the ecosystem or the community. It is there only once. You can fork the code, but nothing else.

Bitcoin is strong because it has a strong supporter base and it is the de facto reserve currency within the crypto space.

Coming up with numbers isn't expedient. I would agree if someone said "I believe that in the long-term Bitcoin's price is going to increase from where we are, don't ask me how much precisely, and I also don't know when and whether we are going to have crashes in between. Most certainly we will have a bit of everything, but a positive trend". Yes, that is a respectable statement that includes all uncertainties and an opinion. Does that make the person an expert? I think no, but I believe in Bitcoin, too, for a multitude of reasons.

The short answer to whether we can reach $80k is "yes, we can!". Can we reach $5k? I don't hope so, but the answer should be "yes, we can!".

Banking stocks continue to drop.

Credit Suisse down nearly 25% to a record low. Kiss

Just when you think they are on the floor,  there is another sub-basement they can fall down into.

Haha oh ya, that is a good one and reminds me of those saying "it can't go lower than that".

But it would make this guy really happy!

993  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: March 26, 2023, 07:34:57 PM
Guys what the heck is going on between Kazakhstan and Denmark? I have no idea what the odds were, I wish I would have checked them just for fun, but they turned a 0-2 until the 73rd minute into a 3-2 for Kazakhstan. The odds have probably been around 100 at minute 70, if not 150.

This shows how unpredictable soccer can also be. I would have never expected that and I haven't read anything so far, but I will watch the summary for sure. If you turn that game around you must have deserved it unless the referee did a bad job, but how bad could a job be such that Denmark loses after a 2-0 lead.

I had them both teams to score as I thought Kazakhstan will at least score a goal.I had in another ticket Denmark to win and holy f*ck if I am shocked when I saw a lost ticket because of this.Truly football is unpredictable and I think Denmark underestimate their opponents after winning 0-2 the first half, they most probably thought that they already secured victory and let the guard down.Of course the referees in every football game impact them for the good or for the bad depending on the case and we all know that every referee gives about 3-5% more fouls and favors a bit more the home team.Even so Denmark showed that they do not deserve to come to the Euro 2024 after this horrible game, well done to Kazakhstan for this historic victory.

Frankly, I never ever thought that Kazakhstan could make a comeback here. I can even understand the Danish for being a bit careless if everything goes your way and you have the control, but this was a nice comeback from an underdog that nobody had on their list when they are 0-2 down. Perhaps you are right that both teams scoring was realistic, but even that I didn't see coming.

This is actually a bad start for Denmark because they have a lot of teams in their group that are neither really weak nor really strong, except for San Marino maybe. But you can lose against Northern Ireland or Slovenia or Finland if you lose against Kazakhstan. This group could become a nightmare for them if they don't win the next one.

995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 25, 2023, 10:35:33 PM
It is not the first time that Bayern Munich fires a coach even though they were performing quite well.
The pandemic Covid-19 and financial recession or something closely to recession impact a lot of entities in society including sports and football clubs. Bayern Munich actually have issues with their finance, balance sheet in the past three years and I believe that they smell pressure to go as farthest as possible in Champions League as well as unable to lose Bundesliga title.

In Champions League, from quarter finals to semi finals, final and being champion can bring significant income for the club and perhaps Bayern Munich want to go to semi final or final at least. Then they decided to sack Nagelsman and try luck with Tuchel who have had two Champions League finals with PSG and Chelsea and lifted the cup one time.

Bayern Munich will have to give the new coach a little time to get settled with the team. Otherwise, it is not going to be any improvement. Bayern Munich is a very good team.
When they fire a coach in middle of season especially in this case when the season is going to final matches in Champions League and about 10 matches in Bundesliga, the club owner actually want to gain success in rest of season. Time no longer stands with a new coach in this situation and Tuchel did experienced it in Chelsea. I think he will feel quite a bit comfortable with given tasks by Bayern Munich when he accepted to sign a contract with them.

Ok then you should probably read the interesting info about how much it costs the club to let Nagelsmann go now. Besides the 25 - 30 million Euro they paid to get him from Leipzig, they also have to pay a significant amount now that they want to get rid of him while the contract is still valid. I read somewhere that even if they win the Champions League, they would not make as much from the UEFA prize pool as they paid for the whole fip-flopping with their coaches. They are financially healthy and they seem to have the money to pull off such maneuvers.
996  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 25, 2023, 10:16:20 PM
I doubt  if Haaland will stay long in Manchester City,   according to him before now, he wish to play for every big club in every league,  and this will make him to last in a club not more than two seasons. I think Haaland will move really Madrid after his contract with Manchester City.

Has Haaland really said, that he wants to play for every big club of every big league? I have never read such a statement of him. If this would really be true, then he would still need to play for a big club in Spain, so FC Barcelona or Real Madrid, in Italy (Inter Milan, AC Milan or Napoli i guess) and if you wants to play for the biggest club in Germany too, then he also would need to join Bayern Munich. I heavily doubt, that this is really his ambition and goal. I also don't think that he really wants to play for an italian club.
If Haaland continues to play like he does at the moment, then only the very top clubs are interesting for him, so besides ManCity those would be Real Madrid and Bayern Munich i would say.

I am quite sure that this statement form Haaland, which I actually haven't heard him saying, is meant in a different way. When a journalists asks you whether you could imagine to play for Real Madrid because the journalist wants some unique info from you, an answer could be that "I want to play for every big club in every big league", i.e., I am not saying where I am going next but there are a couple of clubs that come to my mind and, hence, a couple of leagues. I believe he won't stay in Manchester City forever, but I also believe that his next club, if he is going to transfer anytime soon, is the one he will stay at for a long time. It could also be Manchester City already.
997  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: March 25, 2023, 08:36:11 PM
No problems today for Scotland against Cyprus. Switzerland is already on a comfortable 0-3 lead at Belarus, so that can no longer go wrong. At Spain's match against Norway, Haaland will still want to show himself for his home country, in which he has not really been very successful. Surely there are a few Norwegian players who should be able to serve Haaland. Spain is normally too good but someone like Haaland can single-handedly decide a game for Norway. And Norway should mainly focus on the other games in the group as they are the favorites there. Being 2nd in this group is also a great result for Norway.

Haven't you kept up with the news regarding the Spain Vs Norway match? Erling Haaland was not played in their important match because he was injured, mate. So, please stop talking about Haaland in this match, because it's all going to be bullshit. Currently, Norway is only relying on their 3 important players. They are Alexander Sorloth, Elyounoussi and also Martin Odegaard. Let's see what they can do against Spain which has many stars there.

Yes, Haaland is not on the player list maybe this is why spain is so favorite statistics show that span controls the game and have scored one goal
While Norway did not make much effort especially without Haaland they are like losing a goal machine there is no other choice Norway will play defense
I predict that Spain will score more goals maybe 2 more goals in the second half and Norway may be without a goal.
The game is currently on with Spain leading wit a 1 goal, Norway currently no goal.
The match is about 44 minutes gone, and from the odds, I believe the majority is expecting Spain to win the match, Norway do have an attractive odd which is currently 33 at the time of typing this post, I decided to put a bet on it just incase by chance, the table turns in their favor, not expecting Norway to win, but like I said, just incase, and the money is small, I don't mind losing it.

With Haaland missing the best Norway could do is to keep a clean sheet for as long as possible, but I only saw maybe a 5% chance for Norway to even score without him. It could happen with the help of a little bit of luck, but this game is over in my opinion. If Spain takes the lead here, what can you do if you aren't dangerous enough in the box of Spain? Haaland also adds this element of surprise as he can score from almost any position. But Spain has a team again that is well formed and knows how to let the ball run within their own lines.

Nagelsmann was just sacked at Bayern Munich and Thomas Tuchel is on his way is the rumor. Wow I must say this is definitely a huge surprise... I mean he has perfect stats in the Champions League with 8 games and 8 wins. Eliminated PSG and is in the quarter finals of the DFB Pokal with huge chances to get into the semis.

Frankly this must hurt Nagelsmann as they take away the chance from him to win the Champions League title. It's shocking... Now Tuchel can win all three titles without having played even a third of the season. That is quite unfair.
I saw this on the news and I was really surprised for the sacked of Bayern Munich coach. No doubt Thomas Tuchel is a very good coach but the question to be asked is this the right time for the coach to be sacked?. Bayern Munich are still doing well in their performance,  I got to know that the reason for the sacked of nagelsmann was because of the game Bayern Munich lose to Bayer Leverkusen.

Sacking a coach middle of the season is risky and if maybe the players are not fast in getting use to the strategy of Tuchel quick it can change the performance of the team in the Champions League game. This action would have been more preferable in the beginning of the season , this can be distraction that can affect the team. In a case like this timing is important and considering how far the team has gone.

After all it is difficult to tell or even make some educated guesses as to why this all happened. Even if there was an argument and they agreed to not further talk about it, that could also happen. Although Nagelsmann said he didn't know anything and it went live on the news before he was informed. Nobody here can confirm that, but the whole story is tough anyway. I am a big soccer fan and have seen many coaches being sacked of course, but this is one that leaves me puzzled. This is not even comparable to Chelsea or other clubs where we would expect everyday that the coach has to leave. There are several clubs where I thought it is game over for the coach, but not for Nagelsmann.

How possibility with Julian Nagelsmann less tactic and not effective for Bayern Munich manager but in other side he was success have 100% winning record in Champion League? on group stage have Inter Milan and Barcelona but Julian Nagelsmann success won between home or away matches.

Have inconsistent performance in domestic league after Bayern Munich position taken by Dortmund and right now left 2 points, but still not close yet with Julian Nagelsmann bring Bayern for winning Bundesliga tittle, I am waiting with Thomas Tuchel success or not extended 100% winning record for Bayern Munich in Champion League. I think have choose quick decision for sacking Julian Nagelsmann from Bayern Munich's manager position.
I think there were some problems going on behind the scenes between Nagelsmann and Bayern Munich management because Bayern Munich suddenly took a stance to fire Nagelsmann where his performance with Bayern Munich was quite good in the previous season.

In the world of football, there are always surprising decisions and also the pressure that must be achieved by the coach to make the team stronger in Europe and in the domestic league.  for nagelsmann hopefully he can get another job soon because i like his coaching style.

It is not the first time that Bayern Munich fires a coach even though they were performing quite well. Two examples that come to my mind was Magath who won the Bundesliga title and the DFb Pokal two times in a row and yet had to go and I think with Carlo Ancelotti it was a similar case. But there has been some trouble behind the scenes I think with the goalie coach Tapalovic who is a friend of Manuel Neuer and Nagelsmann didn't like him and actually got rid of him. I don't know if that has anything to do with this decision now, but there have been some things going on that led to different opinions.

The Barcelona team has been able to produce one of the best performances in La Liga at the moment. The players of the team are now very experienced. The only credit for which is for team coach Xavi. The performance of the team is likely to win this year's La Liga title.
Barcelona has a big chance of getting the La Liga title this season because Barcelona has successfully closed the gap with its eternal rival Real Madrid by as many as twelve points which is a very difficult thing for Real Madrid to chase even though it is still possible. And Barcelona also has the chance to win the Copa Del Rey trophy this season if they successfully beat Real Madrid at Camp Nou in the second leg because on aggregate Barcelona have also won one goal over Real Madrid in the first leg.
It's true that Barcelona this season is so strong for two competitions in Spain and again the opponent they have to beat is Real Madrid, who is their eternal rival. At the moment Barcelona is fully motivated to secure these two titles and for Los Blancos it looks like they have to give up the La Liga title, but for the Copa del Rey title I think Real Madrid still has a chance even though the difference in aggregate points is so small.

The chance in the Copa del Rey is still there and Real Madrid has proven a couple of times that they can win away games as well. But with the last clasico ending in favor of Barcelona, I would tend towards Barcelona being quite a big favorite here. Especially as their defense works perfectly at the moment and Real Madrid has to attack while Barcelona can be patient. This strategic aspect is probably playing more into the hands of Barcelona that in Real Madrid's.
