1441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2022/23 Season on: October 31, 2022, 03:21:29 PM
Fenerbahce team is on a roll recently with four consecutive wins the last one was yesterday when they managed a big win with a 5 2 score against istanbulspor, they secured the first position with three points lead and they seem in the best shape compared to the other title contenders.

Fenerbahçe will continue to push for the title this season. And so far the strongest team in the Super Lig seems to be Fenerbahçe. They are performing very well. And in every match, they are dominating and winning. They scored 34 goals in just 11 matches. They scored an average of 3 goals per match. They are very stable and consistently performing well. Not only that, Fenerbahçe conceded only 12 goals in 11 matches. They have a strong enough defense. If Fenerbahçe's attacking players are able to continue their excellent performances then I'd say we'll see Fenerbahçe as champions at the end of the season.

The Indian Squad for the upcoming Newzealand series has been announced

Virat Kholi, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul have been rested. Hardik Pandya is the Captain and Rishab Panth is the Vice captain. Interesting to see Hardik being selected as a Captain of the Indian side.
Again those who need to play more and regain their form are being rested primarily, KL Rahul. Many emerging talents are in this team, and I was happy to see Rishab Panth given an opportunity to lead in case Hardik is unavailable in this T20I series. I am still not happy with the Indian team management for not selecting him in the T20WC.

India's management has plenty of talented players. Even every player in the current Indian squad is talented. And every player has the ability to bring victory to the team. But they failed in the last match. The top order did not play well. I expect good performances from Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Pandya. But they are not performing well regularly. No player is in good form. I think India will become unstoppable only if the players of the current Indian squad return to form. But Rishab Pant should be given a chance. I think he will not disappoint the Indian fans. The performance of Indian bowlers is not weak. Now they should focus more on their batting.
1443  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for October on: October 30, 2022, 10:58:38 PM

Yes, the whole crypto space have been in the upside in the last 7 days, not sure what causes it, but if the United States has indicating some positive news then maybe some of the markets as well will have a good rally. However, there is the war still in the background for the Biden administration that can really affect their economic outlook in the future. The war has been dragging us for almost a year now and entering another critical path in the last 2 months.

According to my research, the reason the market has prospered in recent days is because PMI and GDP both increased more than expected, which means that the economy is recovering gradually, not as bad as before and the possibility of getting out of the recession is very high. But that won't send the market waxing strong, because the Fed will see the economy as fine, they will be more aggressive in raising interest rates to find a way to bring down inflation faster. November is coming and how the market behaves depends on the Fed's decision with this rate hike.
1444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Major Dumps in Bitcoin History and What to learn from there? on: October 30, 2022, 10:46:32 PM
i don't think btc market can be manipulated these days.
Why not, it's always possible if you have good financial strength or maybe when you have thousands of bitcoins in your wallet that you send to exchanges. At least these two steps can change the market conditions to go up or down because people will always monitor the big movement all the time.

Cryptocurrency market capitalization is still very small compared to other financial markets, even the total market capitalization is lower than the total capitalization of a corporation like apple which is more than 2 trillion while the capitalization of crypto is 1 trillion. Although the market operates according to supply and demand, manipulation is inevitable. Do you remember Elon? he can easily manipulate the market with just a few tweets. Fuds are also considered to be the most frequent and visible manipulation tools available today.

With all the inflation going on globally, I don't think increased demand is going to be a problem as people will research for an inflationary, anti-fiat solution and will be pointed into the direction of Bitcoin and choose on their own accord.

If what you say is true then bitcoin should have been up for a long time, not bitcoin that is falling and is likely to fall even more if inflation continues to rise. Yes, while inflation occurs, everyone wants to find something to fight inflation, but not everyone can do it when the prices of food, consumer goods...everything goes up 20-30% and people won't have enough to spend on a daily basis let alone invest to fight inflation. Maybe in the next crisis bitcoin will be the option but for now it is not the best option, when it also cannot avoid the effects of inflation.
1446  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bear market likely over? on: October 30, 2022, 02:53:09 AM
Seems the bear market is likely going soonest. Congratulations in advance to those who bought low and those hodling for a long time. There is likely going to be a new all time high to be achieved before this year comes to an end. If you can, fill up your bag but do your own research.

What do you all think about the sudden bounce back and price increase on Bitcoin of lately?

We have been in bear season for 1 year and this is not the first time we see bitcoin rally during this bear season, it has happened many times and many people misunderstand like you and believe that bear season is about to end and give way to the coming bulls. I can tell you that with this increase is not enough to say that the bull season is coming, it is too early for the bear season to end.
We are still in a sick economy so can't expect to see more money flowing into the market for the bulls to return, the market will recover when the economy is better.
1447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MY FIRST BITCOIN PURCHASE. on: October 30, 2022, 02:40:04 AM
You remind me of the feeling of buying my first bitcoin, both the joy and the thrill that came with owning bitcoin for the first time.
Welcome on board, this is going to be a long road and you need to learn a lot in this market to become a real investor.
I consider you lucky to have come at the right time when we are in a bear market, with the bear market, you will have the opportunity to buy cheap bitcoin and you will see the harshness of the market and learn how to survive this severe bear season. Many people enter a bull market they quickly give up and lose money when bear season comes, for them bear season is really a bad thing that they don't know in advance.
1448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Crypto Winter on: October 30, 2022, 02:06:47 AM
Those who have been involved in Bitcoin for a long time will certainly believe in the four-year cycle, especially if they have experienced two cycles with different price levels for eight years, obviously they will not consider this a myth. But for those who don't believe in Bitcoin or who only know Bitcoin from other people's talk, then they will consider this a myth and will even laugh at those who believe in the four year cycle.

That's certainly true, mate. Newcomers into crypto or even haters don't think Bitcoin will go up after every halving since they truly don't understand how it works. But crypto veterans like myself know that BTC's price usually goes up after each halving cycle (especially one year after the halving takes place). If history repeats itself, it's possible Bitcoin will reach a new All-time-high in price by 2025. That is if the global economy isn't in a bad state like it is right now.

The crypto winter is usually painful if you sell crypto to make a living within the short-term. But if you're in it for the long haul, it shouldn't be a problem. I'm pretty sure BTC will hit $100k in the future due to the way it was designed (deflationary mechanism). Just be patient and you'll be able to see great results in the future. Just my opinion Smiley

The deflationary mechanism is only part of the bitcoin price going up, in order for bitcoin to continue to soar in the future, we also need increased demand for bitcoin. Without demand for bitcoin, deflation will not help bitcoin reach new ATHs.

Those who don't believe in bitcoin or newbies don't believe in 4-year cycle, but as long as bitcoin continues to rise after the halving then those people will start to believe and will invest more and more in bitcoin. Thereby driving bitcoin bigger and bigger, increased demand plus deflation will definitely make bitcoin price increase in the future, not just stopping at 100k USD.
1449  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a secure investment amidst recession on: October 29, 2022, 11:54:58 PM
Bitcoin has always been one of the most powerful investment tools for me. No matter what value you buy, you will always make a profit.
Are you sure with what you are saying, I don't think buying bitcoin at any price is profitable? Those who bought bitcoins above $50k or even $30k are suffering heavy losses. While bitcoin is a highly profitable investment, if you don't buy it at the right time, it will also cost you a fortune.

Today, in the crisis caused by inflation around the world, everyone wants to have the right position. Bitcoin will again be one of the safest investments.
Bitcoin is a highly profitable investment but not the safest. Compared to gold, the future of bitcoin is still uncertain, investing in bitcoin is still risky. That is why it is always advised not to invest it all in a volatile asset like bitcoin.

However, I predict that the value of bitcoin will fall a little more. Then you will make more profit if you buy bitcoin. with bitcoin purchased at a value of 13,000 dollars, you can make a profit of about 8 times.

If we enter a recession then bitcoin will definitely fall more than the current price. But we know how to take advantage to buy the lowest price, the profit will be huge if holding bitcoin until the recession disappears.
1450  Other / Politics & Society / Re: High inflation is causing GLOBAL protests on: October 29, 2022, 11:30:14 PM
All around the different regions/parts of the world, they have the same issue that's causing mass protests. It's HIGH INFLATION, HIGH FUEL PRICES, HIGH FOOD PRICES, HIGH COSTS OF LIVING, AND LOW MINIMUM WAGE.

That's what happens if a non-elected cabal is made to have control over the money supply. Look at this list. Start researching about your country's central bank policies, read the news, and know if your country is about to have, or is currently having high inflation. Because your country could be next for a mass protest.

...

It's funny that we don't see Türkiye here in this list, even though we have the highest inflation rate last year. Everything's price tripled over this short time period. Minimum wage is under starvation line and it's getting harder to live here every day. There is no real protest over the streets as we have a very strict government. It used to be protests all over the country but some group made a coup attempt and after that nothing was the same. People can't even talk freely. I don't know how long that will go on like that. We have elections next year but I'm not sure if it changes situation. It's hard to even slow inflation down, let alone stopping it which is impossible.
People are so overwhelmed that we can't even stand to see the news on TV anymore. I remember I have complained here before but the situation is getting worse and worse.

OP only listed some, not all countries, right now inflation is happening globally, i bet no country can avoid inflation today just the impact won't be the same. As far as I know, Turkey has an inflation rate of 80% and the Turkish government implements the opposite policy of other countries that the higher the inflation, the lower the interest rate. This is considered a completely opposite policy to most other countries to fight inflation and until now it has not worked. Hope they soon reconsider their anti-inflation policy to improve the country's economic situation.

Zakharyan have 12 million pounds clause on his contract so if Chelsea can release this clause this player will belongs to them and actually he almost arrived to Chelsea last season but because of the war between Ukraine and Russia makes FIFA banned his country this makes Russian players cannot moved to other clubs besides domestic clubs so that's why he cannot moved to Chelsea but reported Chelsea hasn't give up to gets him even probably with loan option
If Zakharyan arrived to Chelsea this could be good recuitment besides he stil categorized as young player he also will be considers as the replacement of Kante who possibly will leave Chelsea at the end of this season because of contract extended deadlock

Are Chelsea going to pay the release clause? I don't know if they are going to pay the release clause for the player. Okay, but I am sure that this player is going to be really good for Chelsea. And Chelsea is also able to afford the release clause for this player as well. So, I really do not think that Chelsea needs to think twice about bringing this player. Zakharyan can also give Chelsea service for a long time. So, I think this is a player who is worth investing in. I think bringing him in for a longer time will be better than a loan.
1452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 29, 2022, 11:35:00 AM
There's a news Chelsea want to sign a midfielder from Dinamo Moskow e.g. Arsen Zakharyan, based on the tweet he said he's also interested to join Chelsea, maybe they're still on progress to complete the administration right now. Arsen Zakharyan is a key player on Dinamo Moskow, he's primarily a central midfielder, but he can play on the other position to like central attacking midfielder, left midfielder, left winger and right winger. He's young too, currently 19 years old, I think this will be a good transfer for Chelsea if it's happen.
Dynamo Moscow’s Arsen Zakharyan: “My agents were informed about Chelsea interest. I said: ‘Yes. I want to go and see what happens’. I didn't rule out a loan option”, tells Komment Show via @hrachoff
. 🚨🔵 #CFC
“At least I would try myself. Maybe I could play right away”.

Arsen Zakharyan wants to join Chelsea and he is very passionate about playing for Chelsea.
He has also expressed his feelings about playing for Chelsea.
If Chelsea is successful in getting him into the team, it may prove to be a worthwhile transfer for them.

As an attacking midfielder, his stats are also quite encouraging. If Chelsea is able to acquire him, I think this is going to be a win for them.
1453  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why btc cannot move pow to pos on: October 29, 2022, 02:11:48 AM
In theory, bitcoin can still move from POW to POS if there is consensus from miners. But once bitcoins go to POS it's like thousands of shitcoins out there so why do we have to destroy bitcoin. If you want to invest in POS coins, you can choose any alt currency on the market, bitcoin is different from all the rest and it is unique so don't try to make it trash like altcoins. Take a moment to compare the difference between POS and POW, you will understand why bitcoin should be POW.
1454  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Happens to Our Bitcoin and Other Assets If We Die? on: October 29, 2022, 01:54:05 AM
It's very simple. You have to make a will with a lawyer.
If a lawyer violates the code of ethics, he is to be the first one can access your Million BTC for himself. you must be thinking to do not just giving up the seed to the lawyer. He is a human who has a mind and feels if gets stuck needs the money asap and doesn't know how to get it, your seed is very easy to access and immensely helps him.

Lawyers or banks are not as safe as we think, they also have greed and if it is a large amount of money they are willing to ignore morality to get it. I wonder what are we investing or making money for?, for whom? for ourselves or for our loved ones or families. If it's just ourselves, then we don't need to share or inherit it to anyone. And if we do everything for the family, instead of giving the private key to the lawyer, give it to the person we trust most in the family. It's strange how many people don't trust their loved ones but trust their lawyers.
1455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: help post to recover my assets from hacked wallet! on: October 29, 2022, 01:38:35 AM
As far as I know, there is no way to restore those tokens to the new wallet. If it's a small amount then you should forget about it and don't try to get it back, it will make you fall into other traps and lose more money. I don't trust that youtuber's bot, that could be another trap you'll fall into if you're trying to figure out how to get your small fortune back. Protect yourself in this market, nobody helps you but yourself, once you get hacked and your private key is exposed, forget it and use a new wallet.
1456  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is hodling top 10 Marketcap coins a good tactic? on: October 28, 2022, 11:41:52 PM
I also believe that once this bear season is over, there will be some top coins that will not be able to recover and will be replaced by some new and more potential coins which is inevitable. The altcoin market is always like that, they will always change after every cycle, so to be honest, investing in the top 10 except BTC and ETH, all the rest is very risky.

The good tactic in a bear market in my opinion is to focus mainly on BTC and ETH, the rest look for new gems in the market instead of the top altcoins. For example, the recent Aptos project could also be new gems that will replace someone in the next bull season.
It’s a certain fact that altcoins in the market do not stay for long in their marketcap position, either they fall on the bottom or just gone eventually like a thin air. Even established altcoins that are on top of the list cannot sustain their position, except for ethereum and bitcoin that have been very consistent in their market position. So I’d say hodling long term for those top coins do not guarantee profits in the end. But with bitcoin and ethereum, history proves it that they can always gain sustainable profits.

Indeed. Aside from bitcoin, ethereum or possibly more BNB, all other altcoins are not investment advice at this time. If you follow the altcoin market regularly, you will see that there are many big projects under construction such as aptos, sui, quainetwork… these are projects funded by big funds Binance, FTX, Alameda Research ...backing. They will most likely be the next generation replacing existing altcoins in the same way that sol, near, avax have replaced older altcoins. The bear market is one that should only be focused on bitcoin if you are a savvy investor.

1458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2024 Bitcoin Halving - What are Your Expectations!!! on: October 28, 2022, 02:03:31 AM
~
1300: 20000 was 15x of previous ATH
20000 to 69k was 3.5x of previous ATH

So, yes, "only 2x" does seem to be keeping in the pattern of reducing multiples of ATH. I'd love for it to increase to break this pattern but I'd also love to win the lottery.

That's right. Let's be realistic. Let's not expect $1,000,000 for 1 BTC during the next ATH. It is very likely that the price will be even less than 2 times of the previous ATH, something around $120,000, which many people predict btw. And in several years after that, the next ATH will probably be only 1.5x, meaning that BTC will cost around $180k, the next ATH - 1.3x, and so on. I personally think that we are following this pattern.

This is understandable, the market is getting bigger and the bitcoin capitalization is also bigger than previous years so we can't ask for too much. From $ 1 to $ 10 is simple but from $ 100 to $ 1000 the difference is a lot, the capitalization will increase a lot so can't expect the bitcoin price to be x5 or x10 as usual. To make predictions, we should look at market capitalizations rather than just looking at their prices to make our predictions. And this is also the reason that I think many new investors didn't choose bitcoin and they started to choose altcoins to get bigger profits.
1459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could 17.5k BTC actually be 13-14k pre-inflation? on: October 28, 2022, 01:32:27 AM
I think in short term it's possible for bitcoin to reach 17k or even 16 or 15k, but in long run, it'll cross 60k easily.

I made a thread where everyone will predict the price of btc whether it'll hit the mark of 45k/BTC but it seems we're a long way from hitting that mark and maybe we'll have to wait 2 more years for bitcoin to actually go over that price.

You seem to be forgetting that the global economy is in a very bad state. Without showing signs of improvement, you can't expect Bitcoin to reach a new All-time-high in price anytime soon. People are focused on rising energy, gas, and food costs which are essential commodities in daily life. That means investors won't have spare money to pour into crypto assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum. No capital influx, means low demand on the market.

I think we're going to have to wait a little longer until the Russia-Ukraine crisis is over. Once there are no more disruptions on the global supply chain, everything would be gradually going back to normal. Who knows if 2024 through 2025 turns out to be a good season for BTC? Just my thoughts Grin

I remember when bitcoin started to drop at the end of 2021, which means bitcoin is still in a 4-year cycle, and after the price reaches its ATH, it will begin to drop. The price drop happened before the war and then the inflation, the crisis...I think without these events we wouldn't be able to expect a bull season to come to us anytime soon, we still have to go through the same 4-year cycle as in the past. I'm wondering if the end of the war and the economic recovery before 2024 mean that before the halving happens, bitcoin will rise and create a new ATH?
1460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you Consider the Price of Bitcoin to be More Important than its Purpose? on: October 28, 2022, 01:13:44 AM
...I want to know your thoughts - Do you consider the price of Bitcoin to be more important than its purpose?

Admittedly, price is the top concern of investors but if you notice that price always goes hand in hand with the development of bitcoin, the higher the price of bitcoin, its adoption also increases. Bitcoin has gone beyond its original purpose thanks to the price increase, many people use it as an investment, a safe haven or a means of payment...So the price movement is perfectly fine for bitcoin without losing the initial target that satoshi was expecting.
