After doing a bit more research this coin could easily be used to scam.
Risks:
- Anonymous dev(s). Devs can sell off and disappear to start a new coin.
- ICO from anonymous dev. Highest risk thing ever to invest in.
High possibility they are raising the price of the coin so they can sell phase III of the ICO at an overvalued price.
I will not be investing in phase III unless the devs are public figures.

As a start yes. Looks like a pretty good coin so far. Seems like your observation skills are ok.  I personally have just been reading all the thread pages one by one. It's refreshing to see a devs that really care about how they present themselves to the community. I also see the dev team launched Toshidesk on time. I'd like to get invited! Up to now to get a beta invite you need to have been phase 1 or 2 investor or own 600 coins. I don't know if there will be relaxation of the criteria at some point - perhaps buy into phase 3, I dont know. Sounds fair, I will go ahead and pick some up. Thanks for the info. Most would give up or cashout with the options he has been given, he stuck it out, ate losses and continues to work... You cannot deny these attributes.

It's definitely not as unique as you claim though. I would guess there's at least 50+ good devs who invest in their coins with free work and are loyal/trustworthy. Also, it would be a small miracle to get to a $10,000,000 marketcap with 1 person doing all the work. One of the big problems that I've been seeing for awhile is everyone starting their own coin. At some point soon, I believe coins will start combining with each other. This will allow there to be teams of 10 talented people. Then you will see some real stuff coming together. Like some real top level projects being created that take over traditional centralized services. |

P.S. POT PotCoin is going full PoS so that means THC is going to be the main PoW Scrypt mining coin left in this niche of coins. There's currently 48.85188906 worth of difficulty that may come into THC next month. We should try to promote the POT miners to switch to THC once mining on POT ends.

Could you please take some time out of your day to go visit the Breckenridge Cannabis Club in Breckenridge, Colorado and teach them about any of the 420 niche cryptocoins like PotCoin, DopeCoin, HempCoin, CannaCoin, CannabisCoin or SativaCoin? CannaCoin and CannabisCoin currently have high quality working mobile wallets.
The Breckenridge Cannabis Club stars on CNN's new TV show High Profits. They have serious security issues that could be solved by using cryptocoins. One employee left the establishment over these security risks.
If the show gets picked up for a second season, this would be huge publicity for cryptocoins.

I think cryptocoins in general are good for dispensaries for two reasons. #1 Patients don't have to carry large amounts of cash on them (no one likes to carry excess cash unless necessary) #2 Patients rather not pay for meds with credit cards for privacy concerns (and also if a store's database is hacked that credit card information may be exposed) Virtual currencies solve both issues. I think many of the mj alt coins have a lot going for them. Potcoin is switching to a POS style soon and Cannacoin has been running POSv for a few months now. This would make them both secure networks from any 51% attack. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for altcoins : ) Whether a dispensary accepts TRON or a marijuana coin doesn't really matter. Getting on that CCN show would be the big thing that would help all coins! Dave McEnery Jr.'s linkedin says he is from Breckenridge which is where that show on CNN is filmed. Getting on the show would be sick! Huge publicity. Dave McEnery Jr. may have to do consulting services and spend a lot of time on this idea if he goes for it. He might have to work for them too. Maybe he himself could get on the show as some sort of special tech consultant that no other dispensary has. It would be impressive for the dispensary on the show. I'd be super happy to see Breckenridge Cannabis Club accept TRON. |

It looks like this idea was too ahead of its time. I'm going to take a break and come back to it in 4 months.
Bitcoin is going through some tough times at the moment and has lost the majority of its users. Once bitcoin has a rise over $1000, people will be more into this idea.
Jyri Hovila is working on altcoin.center during this quiet period from myself. I will be thinking of ideas in the down time. Is anyone else working on anything? |
