"jaapgvk 3 points 6 hours ago I'm not sure, but since BBP is partly based on bitcoin, there is a way in which the bitcoin qt-wallet works that doesn't give you 100% certainty that only making a wallet.dat backup once is enough on the long run. See this explanation: Preventing and Recovering from Change Address Disasters. Incorrect use of Bitcoin change addresses account for many cases of loss or theft of funds. Here are some disaster scenarios and ways to avoid them. 1. Backup Failure Alice uses Bitcoin-Qt. Understanding the importance of backups, she created an encrypted wallet backup long ago and stored it in a safe place. After making dozens of transactions with Bitcoin-Qt, Alice’s hard drive crashed. Alice bought a new hard drive and then re-installed Bitcoin-Qt on it. She then restored her wallet backup. To her horror, Alice discovered the restored wallet was empty. Explanation: Alice generated enough change addresses to overflow the original pool of 100. On the 100th spending transaction, Bitcoin-Qt moved Alice’s change (which happend to be her entire balance) into an address not in the backup. Restoring the backup only restored empty addresses. Recovery: Even if a hard drive can’t boot an operating system, individual files can still be recovered. Using data recovery tools, Alice may be able to salvage the Bitcoin-Qt wallet from the faulty hard drive, and with it her lost funds. Prevention: Count the number of manually-created addresses and spending transactions since your last backup. If this number is greater than about 80, back up again. Weekly backups might be enough for most users. Set a very high value (e.g., 10,000) for the -keypool option, either as a command line parameter, or in the bitcoin.conf file. Switch to a deterministic wallet. https://bitzuma.com/posts/five-ways-to-lose-money-with-bitcoin-change-addresses/" === jaavpgvk also has fantastic advice! Ive heard about this 100 thing but wasnt sure, Could your provide any details on this 100 transaction functionality Rob? Can anyone teach me more about this keypool thing? Im worried about my private keys rotating/being reset and my backups of my wallet.dat in other locations becoming worthless. Especially now that I am receiving daily payments from my Sanctuary.

What is the appetite out there for me to develop a mobile wallet for Biblepay? Id like to submit a proposal for it but its a BIG task and the budget this time around is all out. Quite frankly id love to set apart one month to work on biblepay fulltime
But I wanted to get a feeler from others if they would want such a thing?

Thank you for all of your hard work Rob! <3 Project would not exist or be doing well without you, I believe BiblePay has a very bright future.
===
I was poking around DASH recently, their latest monthly proposals only have 34% of their $6.5 million budget allocated, so it looks like all those extra $4 million dollars of coins are going to be burned O_O, Its enough money to fund 100,000 Orphans!
One of the issues they seem to be having is that it costs 5 DASH to submit a proposal, which now costs over $5,000!

Dear Sanctuary Owners, @Togo - How do i get the voting info to help others vote for it? I thought the proposal add page would give it to me. Some command line ?
Once the proposal is entered through the Pool, it goes into Prepared state and then after a little whiles goes into Submitted state, It looks like right now your proposal is still in the Prepared state, once it is in Submitted state it should show up correctly with gobject list command and be right clickable in the pool to get the vote commands

BiblePay, CPU Mining Only coin, specifically caters to Low and Mid range PCs, you get good results from older machines with this coin, so it also depends on the algorithm of the coin you are mining

Litecoin (LTC) - Bitcoin backup Ethereum (ETH) - Smart Contracts Vertcoin (VTC) - ASIC Resistant (CPU & GPU mining only) Monero (XMR) - Private/Anonymous/Untraceable Dash (DASH) - Masternode Governance model and a percent of mined coins continually set aside as a Budget that anyone can propose work to do and the governance votes on proposals and the direction of the coin BiblePay (BBP) - fork of DASH, is ASIC Resistant like Vertcoin (CPU Only mining) and 10% of mined coins will always go to Charity, the project is already sponsoring 175+ orphans monthly through the charity Compassion International, Masternodes are going live this Christmas! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2388064.0
