They are afraid of LTC/BTC arbitrage, thas why it is possible for btc-e which has LTC to be ~100$ cheaper (BTC) compared to mtgox, btcchina, bitstamp (none has LTC or anything else then fiat so arbitrage is hard by $)
So we see Okcoin gaining... soon someone will have to pull the first step or they will fail, Gox and btcchina i see hurted most if they don`t act soon

ltcpp was partly linked to Tibanne and for LTC going on MT Gox and am sure shortly their will be an announcement that LTC wont go to Gox and will eventually die out. Just waiting on confirmation and emails then will post proof Let me guess you dumped all LTC and atm has none, you hold BTC or FTC am i right? I hold many alt coins and I am speaking to the dev of ltcpp now asking whats going on and so far its true that LTCPP is going on the market for sale. i had a dream last night that LTC went up 8 USD in like one day.
Yes it was a dream. But reality soon, say, after Gox adoption?  Gox will never adopt Litecoin, it was a manipulation of the market, saying to for sell litecoins for high and then buying low when the time past, and then again says to adopt it one and another time the same manipulation. Everyone is waiting for LTC to become the next BTC. But the question in hand is, do we need more of the same? Neither is practical for instant paying like lets say VISA, its not like LTC is instant, it is only faster than BTC
Its not the same, BTC has asic sha256 network! LTC has GPU scrypt (multi algos!) network! also scrypt is advenced protection and more secure then just sha256!, more volume also faster block! so if one coin has a problem (network overload) the other will help@! |

You are completely missing my point. If there has to be other cryptocurrencies, there is no particular reason it will be Litecoin (or any of those other gimmicky forks). There isn't much special about it.
sure it gona be some LTC crap clone with no network at all and with 20% premine you hold, ffs! LTC is ONLY alt coin with it his own network which is stable for last year or so!, any other crap coin can be forked by anyone anytime! I am sorry to say but no GPU miner or some dedicated HW, XPM is dead in future even atm is mostly mined by botnet`s, and ppl abusing their power to steal resource from big servers, soon there will be no point in home mining if diff go to far so CPU use more electric power, only thifes gona profit in in stealing other CPU cycles!
