Well that's not strictly true. There's a lot of Bitcoin related apps, but they seem to have got rid of everything to do with sending and receiving coins. I won't be going back to Apple after my battered iPhone 3 dies though that's for sure. |

It's not the media, but rather the people who follow it. People seem to panic sell on the slight bit of negative press and it has a snowball effect. because bitcoin is a Ponzi Scheme Bubble back by nothing but rumor / lie / fake hope

Yeah, but unfortunately it wont make much difference to other people spamming on other deals. I think all the people selling signatures - or maybe even the admins - should enforce a minimum activity requirement to stop people from just signing up to spam for payment.
There is already a requirement to submit a given number of posts before you can add a signature to your posts (don't remember the count, though it's small). So, it is rather a matter of raising the lower limit of posts/activity... It's ten to put a link, but you can still have a signature without one. if bitcoin is going to low.. i want a raise!  If it goes higher will you be ok with a pay cut? Just hold until it returns. |

If they can steal your Bitcoins then they could probably steal your bank account details too. Keep your coins offline. They're only as safe as you are.

I wouldn't call it a monopoly, rather a leadership (and well deserved)... Yeah, it's only natural that the best and most respectable one will be the most popular. This, respectable campaign for respectable posters... I think it is a great idea to have requirements for who can participate, as it means that the people involved are all active contributors here... It's an amazing development. The whole thing looks a little clunky right now but it would've seemed inconceivable even a year ago.

Watched it earlier. Surprised it was only an hour long though. Should've been at least double. Gavin definitely seems like a decent guy and spokesman for Bitcoin. I don't like his David Brent goatee though haha.
