16061  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do free faucets pay ? on: January 26, 2014, 08:35:55 PM
I disagree with people who thinks Bitcoin faucet earning does not matter. Do u know where the CoinChat.org earning of 2012 has shoot up in 2013 ?
is coinchat still running or no I try some time ago but nothing happening but hear from one friend its up again with new management is this true?

See here:

How much can you earn from that? I imagine it can't be much.

16063  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: USDe - have you checked it out? on: January 26, 2014, 06:42:38 PM
Might I suggest to interested miners out there that you check out the USDe . The USDe is interested in competing with fiat money one day. It shot up in value from around 150 to 450/550 satoshis yesterday and it's only 2 weeks old! The developers are very committed and the community is very involved and always expanding.

People say this has a active community/great devs about every coin. And there's only one coin that will compete with fiat and we all know which that one is.

Yes, except we all know that isn't true. You can check out the thread and it speaks for itself.

Keep the drama elsewhere, thanks.

Spoken like a true bagholder who cries when you criticise his crapcoin. What speaks for itself exactly? The great "community"?. All the claims of this coin are hot air just like all the others.
16064  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin could be crime-fighter against credit hacks on: January 26, 2014, 06:39:17 PM
Meanwhile on this same page, 2 users are talking about how they were hacked and lost 10ish BTCs between them.  So yeah, there is that.  We have magic internet money that everyone recommends not storing on the internet.

I think people just need to be safer. If you have a key-logger on your comp they can steal your bank details and your Bitcoins.
16065  Other / Off-topic / Re: Global Warming: fact, fantasy, good idea ? on: January 26, 2014, 06:31:42 PM
The 13 Terrorist European Bloodlines of the Devil worshipers cult Illuminati are responsible for global warming.  Grin.
16066  Other / Off-topic / Re: black people not into bitcoin? on: January 26, 2014, 06:01:14 PM

Wonder if this is really his!

Send it some money and fine out haha. but doubt it, unless he posted it. Where did you find that?
16067  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin TOP-500 Richest on: January 26, 2014, 06:00:06 PM
You should put the US Federal government on the list

The feds are there: 9.  BTC174,000*. FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation, USA)
16068  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling New Samsung Note 10.1 for 0.09493 btc on: January 26, 2014, 05:56:20 PM
Selling New Samsung Note 10.1 for  0.09493 btc or whatever $75 usd is in btc at time of sale. PM ME

Sounds very cheap. How much are they retailing for?

Over £300. I think we know what's going on here  Grin.

OP, can you provide any timestamped pics of the item and are you willing to use a trusted escrow?

I will take some pix now and even though I only have a vague idea as to what escrow is, i've read that that's the only way you should do business, so yes but only with a well known company if that makes sense. pix coming in a few.

You can find a list of trusted escrowers here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=108716.0

16070  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Argentina on lockdown- $25 max out of country purchase, 50% tax on beyond that on: January 26, 2014, 05:37:39 PM
I feel sorry for Argentinians - clearly a country on edge of financial meltdown, any bitcoin exchanges in Argentina?

I think most countries are on the edge of financial meltdown. Just look at the debt countries are in including the UK and US. This level of debt isn't sustainable and will come crashing down around us at some point.
16071  Other / Off-topic / Re: I wish I could rent a time machine. on: January 26, 2014, 05:29:10 PM
If I had a time machine last thing I would do is think of BTC investment. I would just simply change my life and the lives of people I know. As for the money wouldn't it be easier to just write down the lotery numbers?Cheesy You'd win few milion instantly and could forget about BTC or any other investment.

+1, btc would be the last of my worries hahahah. Why go through all the trouble of exchanges and such. JUST WIN A FEW LOTTERIES lol

A few Bitcoin lotteries? I'd rather have the Bitcoins than cash and watch the money grow and just cash out as and when need be.
16072  Other / Off-topic / Re: Movie Recommendation Station on: January 26, 2014, 05:24:16 PM
Not seem him in much other than Get Him to the Greek, Sarah Marshall and Superbad.

Isn't that pretty much all he's been in? haha

Haha, yeah pretty much. He's well different in the Wolf of Wall Street. Going to watch the rest of it tonight. Loooong film.

21/22 Jump Street will be paying his rent for a loooong time to come.

Also, Wolf was a long film, but felt super short. Get to it!!

Haha, I'm on it! Not seen the Jump Street duo. I'm not a big Channing Tatum fan. I think he did some good acting in Dear John (made to watch it!) but other than that I think he's pretty wooden. White House Down was ridiculous. The cheesiest film I've ever seen.

FUCK NICHOLAS SPARKS!

I watched White House Down and Olympus Has Fallen back to back. I didn't think White House Down was too bad. Enjoyed it for what it was. You can tell Olympus Has Fallen had half the budget of the former.
16073  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a bubble - Nobel Laureate in Economics on: January 26, 2014, 05:15:31 PM
I wonder what criteria need to be met to convince people that this isn't a bubble. I mean when does something stop being considered a bubble.

Will it no longer be considered a bubble when a certain handful of companies take BTC payments successfully? Or when x number of people use BTC? Or is it when the value stabilises (not for a long while)?

Bubble is a word for naysayers because they can't think of anything better or factual to slander BTC with. Bubbles aren't necessarily bad either and are to be expected with something so new.

16075  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hi Everyone!!! on: January 26, 2014, 05:10:39 PM

Wasn't harsh. What were you expecting? Pink kisses  Kiss, mass adoration and guys begging to know your Bitcoin address so they can donate some money to you?  Grin

https://blockchain.info/address/1DPMkhgTFTFPaxR5MmDuasPaKbSf1U4f3y

didn't work.   Cheesy

Never does unless, like Cryptopher said, you provide the goods. The proof is in the pudding.
16076  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Overview of Signature-Ad Campaigns on: January 26, 2014, 05:06:34 PM
There is a new one here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=432705.0
I believe there are a few who already got paid.

Quote

Hero members will receive .03 BTC/week

That's a pretty good deal for hero members, especially seeing as there's no minimum posts. Not sure how long it'll last though as I'm betting there'll be a lot of people abusing the system since they apparently pay upfront for it.
16077  Other / Politics & Society / Re: I've been published in the Guardian, defending sex work. on: January 26, 2014, 04:58:35 PM
lol hilariousandco the point I've been trying to make is something you've just proved in that big ranting paragraph you wrote, you're just like a news reporter where you ask somebody a question and then form the answer all by yourself and move on so really you may as well be having a conversation with yourself rather than letting me get in the way.

I wouldn't really call it a ranting, more of coherently making my point and backing it up, and I'm still not sure what you point was/is, but whatever.

Back on topic: Magpie, didn't you say you recorded a part for letstalkbitcoin? What happened to that?
16078  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hi Everyone!!! on: January 26, 2014, 04:51:22 PM
You're a dude pretending to be a girl? Because that's what tends to happen with 99% of the users who claim to be women on here.

I'm with you on this one. Definitely a bloke Tongue

 Huh

Not quite the welcome I was expecting! Oh well. Thanks for dropping a line anyway.

And thanks raskul for your advice. I don't do forums so much so...your input is appreciated!

Perhaps we were harsh, it's something of a running joke given how common people who claim to be girls end buy being guys. Welcome to the forums anyway Smiley

Wasn't harsh. What were you expecting? Pink kisses  Kiss, mass adoration and guys begging to know your Bitcoin address so they can donate some money to you?  Grin
16079  Other / Meta / Re: Stop SHITCOIN release on: January 26, 2014, 04:45:01 PM
Hey there,

we need a thread vote  option: if there is a failed launch, scam, virus ... and many more.

so the mods can react to delete trash release threads. 9/10 daily release is shit...

Define 'shit' or 'scam'. Most of these altcoins are shitty scamcoins anyway. I'd just ignore the alt currency boards if this is a problem. I think half of the mods would rather we didn't even have an altcoin section at all to be honest.
16080  Other / Off-topic / Re: What should I have to eat? on: January 26, 2014, 04:37:45 PM
Shanghai Dumplings for the win

What are they? Sounds like a euphemism for something haha.

Haha, gunna give her some of my Shanghai Dumplings.

I dropped a couple of Shanghai Dumplings on her chest  Grin.
