Newcastle want to make as big transfers as possible even in January. Niklas Süle is a good target for them as he is a really talented defensive player. And he is quite young for a defender as he is only 26 years old now. And their other target seems to be Philippe Coutinho. He left Liverpool to join Barcelona but seemingly he is not doing well there. Maybe he can start playing like real Coutinho if he comes back to the Premier League.

Everyone is talking about the Manchester derby in two days and I'll also be sharing my opinions about this match. Because this seems to me as the most important and attention getting match of the week. I would like to see a much better Manchester United in this match but I'm not sure of it. They are not good with Ole now. But I also wouldn't like to say that the main problem is the manager. Because we all have witnessed how great Arsenal have recovered still having Arteta. This can be a "stay or go" match for Ole. I hope to see them not losing this one.

Milan - Inter seem to be the biggest one of this match weekend. Milan are in a really wonderful form right now as they have the same points as Napoli which are the leader. Inter are following them 7 points behind. I wonder if Milan's extraordinary form will continue here too. But they have a really tough work ahead. Inter succeeded in defeating Milan away in their last rendezvous in the Serie A. Maybe this won't happen again but the match could end in a draw.

Real Madrid didn't get a very comfortable win against Shakhtar Donetsk last night. They won 2-1 but it was a really competitive match. And it was definitely Benzema's night as he scored two goals and had a big role in the win. This was not the only thing important. He scored Real Madrid's 1000th goal in the Champions League in this match also. Real Madrid are the first team which scored at least 1000 goals in this tournament now.

I think that the Real Madrid - Rayo Vallecano match could be one of the interesting matches this week. That's because there is only a 4-point gap between them in the standings. Rayo Vallecano are having one of their best seasons ever. Thanks to Falcao, they are even more effective when it comes to scoring goals. He scored 4 goals in 7 La Liga games so far. However, Rayo Vallecano can't beat Real Madrid away since 1996. And I expect this bad luck to continue here too.

I'm very sure now about that Juventus are a very interesting team.    They have been struggling in the Serie A in the recent times. However, they are doing a really great job in the Champions League now. They won all of their first four matches so far. Last night, they defeated Zenit by 4-2. And Dybala was absolutely the player of the match as he scored 2 goals and made 1 assist. I'm curious about until when they will keep up this very good work here.

Real Sociedad - Athletic Bilbao match was a really dramatic one. Real Sociedad got 1-0 ahead and the Athletic Bilbao player Inigo Martinez was shown a red card in the 84th minute. I thought that Real Sociedad would definitely win after that. However, Muniain scored a very dramatic goal in the stoppage time and the match ended up with a 1-1 score. Real Sociedad are still the leader by one point though but they have an extra match played. Real Madrid and Sevilla follow them by one point having one match missing also.

I'm quite curious about the Legia - Napoli match in three days also. They played against each other in Naples and Napoli defeated them by 3-0. But all of the goals came in the last 15 minutes which showed that Legia still managed to resist their very tough competitor for a long time. So the thing that I wonder is whether Legia will get a point in this one. I think they have the potential to do this. Right now, Legia are the leader with 6 points and Napoli are following them with 4 points.

It was a great weekend for the league leader Chelsea. They managed to defeat Newcastle by a 3-0 result in an away match. And their closest competitors which are Liverpool and Manchester City couldn't get a win. Liverpool lost two points by 2-2 in the game that they should have won nicely. And it was a nightmare weekend for Manchester City as they lost to C. Palace home by 2-0. Now, Chelsea are 3 points ahead of Liverpool and 5 points ahead of Manchester City.

And PSV did it again against Twente today as they won by three-goal gap again. But this time, there were a PSV which won by a 5-2 result. This is really huge for pulling themselves together after being destroyed by Ajax by a 5-0 result. Ajax are playing an away match against Heracles now. It is 0-0 now and if Ajax lose points somehow, it will help PSV get close to them again.

I also hope that no such thing happens to Erling Haaland also. He is only 21 years old now but he performs really awesome at Dortmund. He scored 70 goals and made 19 assists in 69 matches here. What an unbelievable performance by him! He is one of the most special and talented players in history and I would never like to see his performance going down for good. I believe that he will recover fully and continue from where he left.

And the match has just finished. It looks like my prediction has won but I didn't place a bet on it unfortunately.    Verona brought the score to 2-0 in the first half already. Juventus were in a really bad situation and they needed to work hard in the second half to turn the game around. They barely scored in the 80th minute and made it 2-1. But that was it. Verona still won the match by 2-1. Juventus got another loss which is two times in a row now. They should already say goodbye to the chance of winning the title this season.

We know how terrible result PSV got last week against Ajax by 5-0. Tomorrow, it is time for PSV to make up for this huge and embarrassing loss. The competitor is Twente and it is a home match. PSV still have many missing and questionable players now. But they should win this to be able to continue from where they left. Twente is a tough competitor this season but PSV defeated them home by 3-0 last season. We'll see if they will do it again.

Not much time left for the opening match which is Leicester v Arsenal tomorrow. Leicester are at the 9th place and Arsenal are the 10th having the same points. Arsenal have a much better streak than Leicester now. But Leicester are very advantageous in their home matches. They lost only one time so far which was against Manchester City by 1-0. I don't expect them to lose this match but I guess both teams can score here.
