1541  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: March 04, 2022, 10:57:31 AM
Romelu Lukaku is a really solid striker normally but I don't like his performance this season even a bit. Maybe his mind is still not fully here with Chelsea. Because he isn't an incapable striker when it comes to scoring. We all saw him scoring so many goals at Inter last season. When he is happy with his game and team, he performs very good. He might be a little unhappy now maybe and that could be why he hasn't scored many goals. I really wonder if he will go back to Inter this summer.

Lukaku is a very talented football player, but I think he plays alone. If there were more people in the team who would adapt to his name, he could score more goals, but it seems that the style of play and the game of the team members are not very suitable. I wonder which team he will go to next season, he has a very bad performance for such a valuable player this year Smiley
Switching between leagues and maintaining the same standard is not that easy, mostly switching from other leagues to the english league it will take some time to adapt. I have found out if players leave the english premier league to other leagues the shine more and adapt very fast but the reverse is the case if the switch is the other way round. Lukaku is doing his best all he needs now is love and support he can still do better in Chelsea
1542  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where do daytraders store their crypto? on: March 04, 2022, 10:36:52 AM
Swap fee is only applicable to trades that are left for more than a day but once a trade isn't open there will be no need for the swap fee. And it is more easier leaving those coins on the exchange so as to trade the next day because moving the funds between wallets will result in paying for gas fees as well
1543  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is going up during war? on: March 04, 2022, 10:28:28 AM
El salvador adoption wasn't just enough for a price pump we needed more adoption to keep the price rolling up. Lately we have had many other nations subscribing to bitcoin adoption outside El salvador as listed by nullama . The more global adoption the more the price hyke sets in
1544  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is there a new code to download bitcoin source code on: March 04, 2022, 10:13:15 AM
Are you doing this in your user home folder? It seems like you try to create a folder where you have no permissions.
Which system do you use?
I think it's on my user home folder.

You have no rights.
I think that you have to do something similar to the solutions proposed here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/16376035/fatal-could-not-create-work-tree-dir-kivy
Thank you and can i get a resent book with updated codes so i don't get stucked again. if there could be a recommendable academy it can also serve the same purpose be it free or paid courses
1545  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Is there a new code to download bitcoin source code on: March 04, 2022, 10:01:29 AM
I tried playing around the source code on github after downloading i tried copying the code using "clone" but can't get the exact output as shown in the example, I tried the code i got from a booklet but its not responding
This is meant to be the expected output
In this example, we are using the git command to create a local copy (“clone”) of the source code:
Code:
$ git clone https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin.git
Cloning into 'bitcoin'...
remote: Counting objects: 66193, done.
remote: Total 66193 (delta 0), reused 0 (delta 0), pack-reused 66193
Receiving objects: 100% (66193/66193), 63.39 MiB | 574.00 KiB/s, done.
Resolving deltas: 100% (48395/48395), done.
Checking connectivity... done.
$
my output could there be a better code for this?

1546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: March 03, 2022, 08:21:00 PM
Nice - PSG game seems to be a good one this week. It is three days later and PSG are the closer team to win too. But I don't think that this is going to be an easy game for PSG also. Nice are a really annoying team for PSG this season so far. They played a game against each other two times and Nice one of them. The other one ended in a draw. PSG would like to end their bad luck here but I still have a feeling like Nice won't lose again. Nice made PSG big difficulties even in an away game and it is a home game this time. But we will see what happens as it depends on the performance of PSG's attacking line too.
The match between Nice and psg is taking two dimensions because the two clubs are fighting for two different things. Where we can be correct that psg is no longer fighting for anything because they will win the French ligue-1. Nice in the other hand is  fighting to remain in the top four to be able to register in Champions league which they came last in 2016. This will mean that Nice will give their best in every match to atleast go home with a point.

PSG are currently focusing their attention more on the champions league match, but that does not mean PSG will let Nice win easily in the match in the League 1  later, so far PSG are quite safe at the top of the standings and even they have a point difference that is impossible for other teams to catch, but even so I am a little doubtful that PSG will let Nice get points in this week match, especially in last match PSG also showed no mercy by destroying Etienne with a score of 3-1.
The head to head of both teams shows that Nice have not won against PSG in their previous 8 league matches, so I think it is very likely that PSG will get back 3 points in that match with a final score of 1-2.
PSG vs Nice shouldn't be much of a distraction for PSG ahead of the championships league game with Real Maldrid. Nice should even be a much easier game considering the point difference between both teams. I hope to see an easy win on 5th and no excuse against Maldrid. With all the have the can secure both the league 1 and the championships league
1547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Emirates FA Cup - Season 2021/2022 on: March 03, 2022, 07:56:30 PM
So Chelsea saved the day, apparently the Luton fans were having a blast at the Abramovich news, wonder how they're going to be able to challenge if the new owners no longer want to splash the way he has before.

And I have to retract my Minamino fears. He's been great for us at cup games, long may his form continue.

Seems tight on the predictions eh notblox1? Everyone I think got it almost all right (cept the Spurs one where some daring people were rewarded).
It was more like a narrow escape for Chelsea
For next match Everton will against Boreham Wood at Goodison Park so far both of team never met each other so this is first time in the history to Boreham met Everton and on the paper Everton are the favourite because their opponent currently on 5th division and most people predict Everton can win however i was thinking to bet over 2,5 goals for this match instead of Everton win

This match will be really intresting because Boreham Wood is the only team that is left in the competition from a non-league. If they go into the next part of round it will be historic and for them its already history made. On the more realistic side i think this will be over 2.5 goals.
It's the first time both teams are meeting and predicting based on their respective league might even be more difficult. However having both teams to score in the first half can be another bet option because this first encounter both teams will love to represent. I might no know why the papers choose Everton as the favorite but I am sure goals will come from both teams
1548  Economy / Economics / Re: What economic sanctions will US impose on Russia on: March 03, 2022, 07:36:57 PM
I feel US is more dependent on Russia economically and as such US might likely not have any sanction on Russia. Also Russia is self dependent and might not feel much impact of any sought of sanction, i believe Putin must have considered all this before taking his action and must have had enough reserves to fall back to after the war. No one goes to war unprepared
1549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IN THE PHASE OF UKRAINE DONATION on: March 03, 2022, 07:27:49 PM
This is meant to be a free will donation if binance saw the need to donate it doesn't mean other exchanges are obligated to follow suit and who knows some might have done an anonymous donation or might have done their private donation and decided not no make it public. I believe Ukraine will still get more donations considering the level of damage following Putin's invasion
1550  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to hit $100k? on: March 02, 2022, 09:17:54 AM
Until the last ATH is retested i wouldn't use any speculation as a tool for investment. we had similar predictions last year and still bitcoin kept declining after it's ATH in 2021 of $68k. One should see a valid confirmation before going by any speculation and in main time despite slight bull run the market is still likely to decline even further. except for hodlers else no speculation is accurate at the moment
1551  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Be comfortable with your strategy! on: March 02, 2022, 09:10:03 AM
Most times it's the complexity in trading strategy that makes the loses. I believing so much in a neat chat where i closely and carefully spot major turning points in the market. But if your strategy is good enough despite how complex it might seem then stick too it but it's best to have an easily readable chat for easy interpretation and quick market decision
1552  Economy / Economics / Decentralized assets might be the saving grace after the war on: March 02, 2022, 09:04:44 AM
When ever the thoughts of war rings many seems not to look after the effect it will likely play on the economy and the cost of restructuring damaged property even the devaluation of local currencies. It's sad Putin took laws in his hands by invading Ukraine and i guess the outcome now might not be what he actually expected and at the moment where Russia has gotten different sanctions it will be wiser for Russian citizens to switch most of their assets to decentralized cryptocurrencies so they have a link to bounce back to after the war.

For Ukraine i guess NATO and other world organizations will make donations to help rebuild the nation but for Russia it will be starting up a new economy from what ever is left having tampered most of their reserve to build sophisticated weapons which has served as a treat to other countries who wished to help Ukraine. But i feel the numerous sanctions so far might serve it's own purpose to help curb the attack on Ukraine

# let peace lead
#Putin should consider the lives he has wasted
1553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2021/2022 on: March 02, 2022, 08:48:35 AM
West Ham added up its 13th win and moved up to 5th place in the table. However we have Arsenal who has just played just 24 matches and have 14 wins in hand but standing at 6th place in the table. West Ham has completed 27 matches so far. If Arsenal wins the upcoming match then yes it would move up to 3rd place above Chelsa with 14th win. As like Man City and Liverpool, Arsanal might set up a win record in the table as they have few more matches in hand. Will see.
The new record should be set after Arsenal succeed in defeating Wattford, Leicester city, and Liverpool. The first two might seem achievable but for Liverpool it won't be as easy as it seems. although chances of replacing of Chelsea in the third position might look a bit realistic we might be seeing new records but it might end in the third position
1554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: March 02, 2022, 08:20:18 AM
We will all be watching the Manchester derby this week. But they are in very different circumstances, Manchester City at its best despite being beaten by Tottenham two weeks ago. Meanwhile, Manchester United is in an unstable phase. Yes they some times they have trouble showing a progressive game. They even find it difficult when facing teams that are at a level below them.
I hope this match will present an interesting game to watch.
apart from Manchester United's unstable performance I really believe in this match they will give their best so it is very possible that this match will be tough and very interesting, this is a Manchester derby that puts pride at stake of course both teams will play as well as possible and show their best performance .
even though Manchester City are in good form, I don't think they will win easily, and I predict this match will end in a draw.
I just wish their best will be good enough for a draw atleast since so far that has always been the struggle of manchester united against big teams. One mistake manchester united shouldn't try is playing a defensive game else they will end up conceding goals that will look embarrasing to the numerous stars they have and fans as well
1555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 01, 2022, 05:03:33 PM
If you also pay attention to how Milan and Inter have had less good results in the last few matches, then we can see Milan and Inter getting less good results when they play weaker teams. So, with a result like that Napoli still look the better side and even though Inter have a match delayed it still can't be Inter will win easily considering the consistency has dropped a bit. Let's wait for the next round because Milan will play away against Napoli, it could be Milan falling behind again and also Juventus who will play against Spezia looks like they will definitely win. That way, the points gap will be even closer and Juventus could be in the title race if the three teams above can't be consistent.

That's right, AC Milan and Inter from the last 5 matches did not show good results, especially for Inter Milan who lost in 2 matches. Indeed, Milan is unbeaten in those 5 matches, but, 3 matches ended in a draw, even against weak teams. Napoli has better confidence than Milan. However, for Milan, maybe there will be an effect from the results of the Coppa Italia semifinal, if Milan win against Inter, maybe Milan can perform better when they meet Napoli in Serie A.
The competition is already here. Napoli has gladly replaced Ac milan at the top of the league while AC milian and inter struggle with the second and third positions respectively. With the inconsistency hovering around the league specifically between Milan and Inter  it could be any teams oppourtunity this season. For the coppa Italia semifinal today Milan should save it's spot for the finals at least a win tonight while we await April 20 for leg 2 of 2
1556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: March 01, 2022, 04:55:17 PM
Rangnick and Manchester United know what they are up to, I am sure they will be to navigate through these games and grind some results. The game against Manchester City is a derby game and games like that are unpredictable. Irrespective of the forms of the teams, the weaker team at moment may spring surprises in a derby game but the inconsistency of Manchester United makes it difficult for anyone to give them chance against City or Tottenham. They should be able to make it through to the next round in the champions league because obviously they are having advantage from the first leg.
another strong deby can Rangnick withstand Pep Guardoila i don't see any hidden agenda except to improve the defense line and play an attacking game. One big mistake any club playing against manchester city will do is play defensive. Sterling, De Bruyne and Jack Grealish will gladly take delight in making fool of the defense line breaking through and making their goals too easy
1557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: March 01, 2022, 04:46:38 PM
I think Barcelona has gone back to the old era, namely the era of Pep Guardiola's coaching which became a golden era for Barcelona.
I don't think it's about how many scores Barcelona players can score. But this is how they play, Barcelona's game is now more organized, focused and open, this is the key in a game, scoring goals is a bonus.
Barcelona currently has a coach who is able to analyze like Guardiola, not only that but I think Xavi is smarter than him. However before he took stay of Barcelona, the club was in difficult times. Unlike in the past many top players at Barcelona they are able to get various opportunities with good skills.
Xavi learnt from pep Guardiola, having played under his management in Barcelona he understands how the camp Nou games works and the best tactics for each game. If we watch closely the early games of Barcelona when Xavi took over from Roland Koeman we say some progressive result. It looked inconsistent at first but currently we all can attest Xavi is doing a nice job
1558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is going up during war? on: March 01, 2022, 04:38:05 PM
The war is disrupting lots of economic and financial activities across both countries and many Ukrainian and Russian are switching to buying crypto specifically Bitcoin to avoid been stranded after the war.  This is one of the strongest reason why I feel the sudden pump took place. After the war many will be forced to start a fresh life so crypto is just the only saving grace at the moment
1559  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian Invasion is affecting Sports Economy. on: March 01, 2022, 04:33:57 PM
I just picture the ugly truth of the outcome of Putin's invasion on Ukraine. Firstly Russian Gazprom Arena in Saint Petersburg is already losing from not hosting the UEFA champions league final and also the racism that might follow afterwards from NATO governing countries make it unfit for Russians to dwell within those territories. This will also have strong effect on the economy as many intending companies might be forced to switch else where for business deals. Putin would have deployed a better approach other than instigating war
1560  Economy / Economics / Re: Regulation seem like the only option left on: February 28, 2022, 07:31:32 PM
Will there ever come a time that the government reaction to crypto will be encouraging for the people? Lately the head if international monetary fund Christine lagarde stated that regulatory action from the international community on crypto is inevitable ..what do you think
After much pressure and threat from the government on crypto investments I think regulation will be the last option deployed to create a level of understanding between investors and the government. Although the regulation will be limited to exchanges. We can't do without international community interfering and that's the sad reality
