1581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the bear market over? on: November 09, 2022, 07:55:43 AM
The market has been quiet for a couple of days and that quiet was broken today in a negative way. We saw a nice sharp drop after a long time. I see this as an indication that the market is still in the bear market. For now, we have returned to $ 17,200 in bitcoin. I don't know if it will continue. In Ethereum, we saw $ 1,235. We can say that Ftt has already disappeared. However, Solana also had a bad fall.
It just shows that bear market is not yet over. The price of Bitcoin once again reach $21k from the past few days, down to $20k but now returned back to $18k+ (current price). Even other alts are also declining following the movement of Bitcoin. It's uncertain how the market will look like before this year end. But we can take this situation as an opportunity to fill our bags then hold. Once the bearish market is over, it's a chance for investors who bought at cheap price to get high return from their investment. So think positive and don't be discourage to the current situation because it's only temporary.
1582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost 270 dollar in roullete plan on revenge on: November 09, 2022, 01:38:08 AM
I plan to revenge and withdrawed 1000 usd from my bank to make big bets and beat them.
You feel bad that you lost your $270, hence you're planning to play again. I think it's not a revenge because you can't be so certain that you'll get back what you have lost. There's a high possibility that you can lose more for playing again and worse got busted every cents that you have.

Don't chase your losses and don't be too confident to say you're a lucky person. When you gamble, it's already given that you might lose your money and clearly you're not prepared for it. Remember, it's gambling so there's no guarantee to win at all.
1583  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Friends and Family members want me to invest for them, help! on: November 08, 2022, 06:00:43 AM
In my country up to 7 people I knew very well ( friends and family ) want me to help them invest money in crypto, after telling them the risk involved and how it will be better if they learn themselves they turn the idea down..

Now they want me to invest their own money on coins and they aren't ready to choose the coins they will like themselves.

After thinking this through and through I started feeling like they are doing this to hold me responsible if something goes wrong.

Is my thoughts right? If you are in my shoes what will you do?
That is probably the case since they don't want to do it themselves. If you invest using their money and something went wrong, it's obvious that they will blame you for the unfortunate situation that happened. I've been in a similar situation before, though i'm not the one who invest on their behalf, just the one who introduce it to them but still, they held me responsible. It's very stressful and a lesson learned for me. Thus, if you don't want to go through such problem don't let them use you. Because if they really want to invest, then they need to exert an effort and not relying on other people.
1584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Does Gambling/Casino Ads Help An Addicted Gambler Who Wants To Stop Gambling on: November 08, 2022, 03:49:07 AM
would this Ads lure the gambler back into gambling notwithstanding that he or she is trying to stop ?
Yes it's possible specially if he/she can be easily lured out despite of the willingness to stop. But I think it depends on how the gambler control himself, because if you're really determine to stop, then this ads can't attract you to play again like what you used to.

And another question is, if you are addicted to gambling and wants to quit but discovers that seeing gambling Ads on the internet is one of the triggers that lures you into gambling again, is it possible for you to stay away from the internet until you are sure you've completely healed from that addiction?
As I have said, if you're determine and serious to stop your gambling habit then you'll stay away to all the things that can hinder you to overcome your addiction. Thus, this depends for every gamblers who are trying to change themselves for good.
1585  Economy / Speculation / Re: My advice to you regarding bear markets. on: November 07, 2022, 08:23:48 AM
Crypto won't be as promising as you say. Terra (LUNA), which is considered a potential altcoin, has made many investors go bankrupt. That's a real thing with altcoins.
That's true. Investing in altcoins are more risky compared to investing in Bitcoin, though it's not bad if you like to diversify. But you need to dig deeper in order to find a good coin, and unlikely to have the same fate as LUNA.

If you want to reap beautiful results in the future? collect Bitcoin little by little.
And it's never too late to accumulate specially now the price is still cheap. Investors who are used to seeing the price turning up and down are aware on what's the best thing to do in times the market is in bearish. When the bull season occur, investors who bought during cheap price will realize that it's worth the wait. Of course the risk is still there, so invest only the money that you can live without.
1586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: investment in bitcoin should be short term or long term. on: November 07, 2022, 06:18:42 AM
i am a newbie in bitcoin, and i plan to buy bitcoin,, and will invest in bitcoin, and i want to ask everyone? if investing in bitcoin is it better short term or long term??? but in my opinion, long-term investment is better, but what do you think?
Bitcoin is a good investment for long term. If you track the price history you'll understand why. But it doesn't mean you have to hold forever, just set your target price to sell and for how long you're willing to wait.

However, this still depends on your strategy, you are free to do what you think is best for yourself. Either short or long term, what matter is you'll benefit from the decision you made. Much better to have plan so you can timing the market on when you will engage yourself. It takes guts hence be prepared whatever the result is.
1587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Question to players: what does really drive you crazy in an online casino? on: November 07, 2022, 04:02:57 AM
Knowing the rules is an obligation, it's the same as; eating, drinking, and breathing.
Indeed. We don't want to be put in a situation because of our negligence to know their rules right? Thus it's a must for us to do our part before playing to avoid having inconvenience because if you already face a problem on their platform (and you're at fault), it's not an excuse that you don't know the rules.

Anyway, nowadays there are many casinos existing already, that means plenty of choices for gamblers to look for a casino that they prefer. As we know, some gamblers are still not fine to comply if there's a kyc requirement and this is a common issue.
1588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum deposit and minimum withdrawal. on: November 06, 2022, 09:15:49 AM
Does high minimum deposit fees from online casino discourage gamblers who want to stick to a budget and influences them to gamble with bigger amounts?
Well, I dont think so. Casinos have their set rules for deposit/withdrawal and it's not to influence the gamblers to increase their budget. Usually, the minimum deposit and withdrawal of casinos are reasonable. If your budget is low or you can't afford the minimum of the particular casino then you can always look for other casinos that is appropriate for your budget.

Could low minimum deposit be an encouragement for people to come gamble regardless of the money they have to gamble?
This already depends on the gamblers. Low minimum deposit and withdrawal are attractive specially for average gamblers because it's convenient. It is also ideal if they want to try first the casino before making a big deposit. Anyhow, it's best to gamble using your spare money, don't try hard to reach the minimum deposit/withdrawal of the casino since there are many options out there.
1589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Nigerian Man Won $51,000 in Sports Betting With a Bet of Just $1.072 on: November 06, 2022, 07:46:21 AM
Yeah, it's a huge win.

And I do agree that if you win big, you just need to shut up and don't tell anyone, I have read a lot of news of people winning lottery and telling the whole neighbourhood that the next day people are lining up to his house to ask for help and monetary assistance. i mean it's not that bad to help others but what if you can't help them all? And then there are relatives that you suddenly shows up to your door as well for money. And again, you can't please everyone, at certain point there will be people that are going to be envious of you.

Indeed it's a huge winning amount, & of course, his luck played a fundamental role in his winning. But what I believe is that such winning should be kept secret due to security concerns. This may attract the criminally minded person to lose all the money for their criminal activities.
Recently it happened in my neighborhood where a person had a huge amount that he won via a prize bond scheme but got robbed in a house trespassing robbery activity as his neighbors were aware of his winnings.

You're right, making it public is not safe since you don't know the intention of the people around you. They might be happy about your winnings, but deep inside you'll never know. That's why if possible, it's better to keep it within the family members only for your safety.

Anyway, this is the good thing about gambling, there's a chance to win huge and become rich instantly. Yes it can't happen to everyone since majority of gamblers lose their money compared to their winning, but there are situation (similar to this) wherein the gambler extremely got lucky. It's rare but still happening. Nevertheless, don't gamble if you're not prepared for the worse case since gambling is risky and you should able to control and discipline yourself.
1590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have your winnings lured someone into gambling ? on: November 06, 2022, 05:40:39 AM
As a gambler we see winning big as success is gambling, do you share and celebrate your winning story with friends ?

Have your winning story or celebration lured someone you know into gambling because he wants to win big like you
I'm sharing the story of my big win to my family but not with friends. Because I don't want to be the reason for them to start to gamble and be blame if something bad happened. Actually, i'm often the one who's tempted to play the specific game of the gambler who showed his big win because i'm thinking maybe I can be lucky just like him. But now i'm refraining myself not to envy other gamblers as we have different fate if we gamble. Don't pressure yourself to win and enjoy the game.
1591  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 🖤 on: November 06, 2022, 04:19:42 AM
Thanks boys and congratulations ofc to the other two winners. I have already received my prize and had a great time playing slots yesterday.  Cheesy
Congrats for winning the prediction contest and to the two other winners as well. I only found out the winners today as i'm certain I won't be fortunate to predict the price accurately to this contest. My prediction is far from the result, after placing it the price suddenly increase a bit so I stand no chance. Grin

BTW I'd like to ask about the on site Bitcoin prediction. If I wager 100 mbtc, i'm already eligible to predict the price everyday until Nov. 24 right? and if i'm among of top 100, there's a guranteed prize already?
1592  Economy / Gambling / Re: WINZ.IO 🚀 WELCOME BONUS: 300 FREE SPINS 🎁 43 ETH ETHEREUM ADVENTURE 🌕 on: November 06, 2022, 02:17:09 AM
even though the casino shows signs of offering excellent service and being reliable people always need to be careful never make large deposits at the casino and research the TOS and make comparison with the TOS of other casinos, ideally for the person whenever they make a profit to withdraw the main money is to leave the profit to play, that way if one day the casino freezes your funds at least you have withdrawn profits and they will just be freezing your main
I agree. Before we play, we should take time reading first the TOS of the casino to be aware of their rules and to prevent ourselves to commit a violation resulting to freezing or banning our account. Some gamblers forget this basic thing to do before playing in a casino, then will complain if something went wrong not knowing they violate the rules. Specially those who are not prepared for KYC, because nowadays it's quite common for a casino to ask for this specially if you're a high roller. Thus, don't rush playing and take time to read what you need to know.
1593  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: November 06, 2022, 01:40:47 AM
a good site overall but a little boring from the design
It depends on each player perspective as Rollbit interface is liked by many with dark mode theme and easy to navigate interface but the main thing should be casino should be legit and games should be fun and exciting for me personally and it's good you liked the site and some new development can improve interface more.
The design is not my priority though, but of course some gamblers wants to play on a more entertaining graphics and with that Rollbit might not be the option but aside from this, everything works well for me. Maybe this can be a good update for Rollbit in the future and require their game provider to update their graphics. Rollbit is still growing, this comment might get the attention to the team and might encourage them to get some updates.
I also like the dark design of Rollbit and even in other casinos, I always set the theme into a night mode (if there's an option) because I don't like playing in too bright. But we really have different preference when it comes to design hence it's understandable if some gamblers might find it boring. Well, it's not the main reason on why we chose to gamble in the particular site, but we know it's one of the important part to work on since it can attract and encourage the gamblers to play longer.

Anyway Rollbit is open for suggestions thus if the gambler raise this feedback to them they will certainly do something to improve it in the future.
1594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do? on: November 04, 2022, 06:11:16 AM
I'm an investor of solana before, but decided to sell because when there's an outage it really affect its price, hence I switched to other coins that I think is much worthy to hold for long term.

If you have doubt then dont invest as there are many coins out there that can be your option.

Moreover it's also advisable to diversify, but be careful on choosing what coins to invest in.
1595  Local / Pilipinas / Re: WORTH IT PA BA? on: November 04, 2022, 03:51:45 AM

1596  Other / Archival / Re: I don't want to buy cheap bitcoins, I want to buy expensive ones on: November 04, 2022, 01:42:10 AM
Some people are not buying during bear season because they're afraid the price might dropped further, hence they prefer to wait once the price is already recovering. I think that's understandable because they just don't want to experience having losses. However, if you're a wise investor, has knowledge about Bitcoin and its history, and your goal is to be a huge gainer in the future, we know the cheaper price is the best time to buy since you can accumulate more. It's really an opportunity if you're taking it in a positive way, but not all can appreciate this season because they can't sell to take profit while other weak investors are selling at loss then quit.

This is the reason why people who have knowledge on what they're getting into and has patience to wait (even it takes a long period) are the ones who have the chance to gain in the future. But keep in mind that regardless how profitable it can be, the risk is always there hence be prepared since anything is possible to happen.
1597  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you like commission job or salary base job? on: November 03, 2022, 07:31:36 AM
As a person with a family to feed and relying on me, salary based job is more suitable. Having a monthly stable income is more secure and less worries compared to commission based wherein you have to strive harder in order to get more sales. I experienced it before, it's hard and stressful and ideal only as part time.

However, it still depends on your capability because there are people who are able to survive and exel through commission based because of their dedication and passion to the said job. It's really true that if you love what you're doing, you won't feel any burden but instead motivated to be successful and become financially stable.
1598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie trading believe on: November 03, 2022, 04:49:22 AM
Do people comes into crypto space and expect daily cashout 💸 💰 this is one of best lie about crypto Market
People with such mindset are those who really don't know what they're getting into and probably became interested to engage themselves because of what they see on social media platforms believing they can earn huge in a short period.

It's not possible to have a daily cashout from the market , but lots of new traders thinks when you invest in Crypto today by tomorrow they should be expecting something huge.
Well, if you did a research before you decided to invest in crypto as a trader/investor, you will understand its nature and won't have such expectation. Because it takes time to profit and it's not easy, moreover it's risky and newbies must be aware of this.
1599  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is hodling top 10 Marketcap coins a good tactic? on: November 03, 2022, 03:41:36 AM
if we look at the history of LUNA, of course, we will be interested in the beginning and in the end, LUNA crashes and harms many people. That is an unexpected risk to the crypto market. must be prepared for all the risks that occur.
I agree. Many investors of LUNA didn't see it coming, I even have a friend who invest huge money to end up losing it all. It just shows that even you chose to invest in popular coins, there's no assurance at all since we don't know what lies ahead. Just a reminder for all investors to not have high hopes since investing is associated with risk.

Taking a look back at the history and the top coins of the past years, it can be said that only bitcoin and ethereum are the two coins that have stayed in place throughout the years, the rest are constantly changing.
If early investors stick to these coins from the start then they made the right decision. Seeing how the price and popularity of these coins improved and still remain on top even the market is not in bull season, is an indication that it's a good choice if you're considering to invest in top coins. Nevertheless we should not invest blindly to any coins, DYOR is still necessary.
1600  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much gambling is in trading cryptocurrencies? on: November 02, 2022, 08:13:40 AM
There's a similarity because the result is uncertain and there's no 100% assurance that you'll gain. However, the level for trading to be like gambling depends on what kind of trader you are based on your skills, knowledge and strategy when you trade.

If you're a type of trader who's relying on signals or in other trader's strategy without using your own analysis and understanding then it's pretty much like gambling. On the other side, a trader who's aware of what he's doing and can come up with an effective strategy using his knowledge about trading has a chance to maximize having a good outcome when he trade. Nevertheless crypto is high volatile, losing is inevitable sometimes, there's no exception and even pro traders do experienced it.
