Well, 2 to 3 months are a short period to give up. It's a crucial stage to do your best through promoting and think of what your customers might like in order to be attractive and be competitive (if there's other same business near you). It takes guts if you don't want your effort go wasted just because you're impatient and don't want to continue trying. On the other side, as an entrepreneur, you'll know if the business is gaining or it's already time to closed it down. That is, if you already did what you can do to make it profitable. Maybe that's not the right location or suited business for you so just keep trying. |

I knew that there's many topic like this in the past that asking advice about loaning for gambling. The intention of this thread is determined what's the actual feeling when you are using a loan money on gambling knowing that there's an interest rate on your borrowed money which means you already lose part of your money before you start gambling.
We have our own reasons why we're taking a loan. Regardless of where you'll use the money, as long as you are responsible to repay it on time, then I don't see any problem. However, using a borrowed money to sustain your gambling activity is not advisable. Why do you have to take a loan when you can use your own money to gamble? The interest that you have to pay aside from the capital is an additional struggle since you're not certain if you can double the funds to pay the lender. Though this not an issue if you're not really counting on your winnings and has other resources to repay the borrowed money. But again, if there's other option, opt not to take a loan just to gamble. |

You didn't sell when the price reached $69k yet you're thinking the price below $30k is reasonable to already let go. What made you think that way? Are you tired of holding? If you hold your Bitcoin for many years (as you've said) then you're already aware that the price currently is just temporary. So if you're selling at the current price, you became a weak investor despite of being a hodler for years. Anyway, it's up to you though since we have our own way of thinking. |

When a gambler stop gambling when they get out of money, I won’t really call that a addicted gambler, but the set of people that I do call addicted gamblers are the once which will do crazy things just because they needed money to gamble with. I agree. Because addicted gamblers can't stop that easily and they tend to do things (good or bad) just to sustain their addiction without much thought of the consequences for doing so. Gamblers who can stop for the reason they have no funds already to use for gambling might not reach the level yet to be called addicted. Nevertheless, being addicted doesn't mean you have no chance to change what you used to, but it requires a strong will to already stop. And this will start by helping yourself to reduce your gambling activity. It's not going to be easy but there's always a way if the gamblers are determine to change. |

It happened to me many times because of greed. Though this is not much, I deposited 1 mbtc (this is my set budget for gambling) to my favorite casino where i'm playing live baccarat. I was lucky to grow it to 6 mbtc, but since i'm thinking I can gain more if I continue playing, I didn't stop. Just another supertitious belief of gamblers. It's not new actually because I bet many gamblers have their own belief that can bring luck when they gamble. It's not proven to be true but there's nothing wrong if you try. Do you feel cool sharing your predictions with other people and how has the outcome been looking at all the times you have shared your predictions with others?

From teaching, when Bitcoin broke past record highs at the end of 2021, I had the opportunity to make a good profit from my invested Bitcoins, but my strong belief in Bitcoins prevented me from selling Bitcoins, after which the price of Bitcoins began to decline. First I'm glad because your mind became open to find out what Bitcoin is and you really discovered that bitcoin has a good future which pushed you to buy it and hold it for the long term through your brother, but why you seem to be regretting that you didn't sell when Bitcoin's value kicked over 60k$ almost. But if you still hold your Bitcoin until now, I think you can still achieve your target of selling it more than you expected when the bull run comes next year, and from what I see there are many people who expect Bitcoin to achieve 100k$ each or more by 2024. Many investors are optimistic that the price of Bitcoin will reach $100k on the next bullrun. This is also the reason why many of us are keep on holding since there's a possibility for Bitcoin to surpass its previous ATH and it might happen after the halving next year. So don't regret if you didn't sell in the past when the price is increasing. Because as long as you didn't sell then you didn't lose anything yet. Though, you don't have to deprive yourself to take profit at times. Remember that if you can hold longer, you can be a huge gainer. Though everything is uncertain, it's still better than having a weak hands to wait. |
