641  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: August 09, 2023, 04:46:54 AM
If someone will play with initial amount of 2000 bucks, it's possible to earn a hundred, but I don't think it will ever be consistent. This is because there will be losses. The collectove amount of losses might even equate to more than what someone make so it's really important to assess the situation before risking a huge amount in gambling. Only spend what you can afford to lose, folks.
The problem is, many gamblers still believe they can make their money grow when they use it to gamble, fast and easy. Just like those streamers and advertisement wherein a gambler managed to hit a jackpot. Isn't it the reason why people who don't experience gambling yet are tempted to try it because of those advertisements? That's how they sink in their mind the possibility to earn money through gambling. Though we know it's not possible to win consistently, some gamblers are still trying to earn in gambling and treat it as their source of income. They will only realize if it's really possible once they experienced to lose their money.
642  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reckless gambling starts after a win round. on: August 09, 2023, 02:13:47 AM
But wait till you have a taste, win some money, that's where you start feeling like there is more if you keep digging, is this not where gambling addiction starts?
That's the start to get hooked for thinking it's easy to win but it doesn't necessarily mean you're going to become addicted. Because it depends how you gamble, are you playing to have fun, satisfy yourself and winning is not the priority? Or your main desire is to double or triple your money without control on how much you'll spend? Because if the latter is your reason it's likely that you'll going to become addicted.

Do you think its possible to become addicted to gambling when you haven't win a dime or after you win?
If you never tried it yet how can you become addicted? It will start if you already experienced to win but as I have said it still depends.
643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memecoins Vs legit Altcoins in 2023 on: August 09, 2023, 12:28:59 AM
Before this year 2023, people were launching projects with whitepaper, roadmap and promote those projects with Their team. Memecoins were few but this year, situation is changed. Everybody is busy launching memecoins, no whitepaper, no roadmap. 8 projects are memecoin out of 10 projects.
It seems, this year will be full of memecoins. What do you think? Why memecoin launching is increasing so much in this year?
Many investors are investing in meme coins to get rich quick, so due to the demand, it's not surprising why meme coins are increasing. They're all similar, the price can skyrocket depending on its hype and the people buying the particular memecoin.

Moreover, some investors are still never learned from their past mistakes. They tend to join the ride whatever the trend is hence even investing in meme is risky, they just ignore it hoping meme is the answer for them to have a huge profit even for a short period. Thus don't be surprise for the current happening, every opportunity to profit the devs and investors will take advantage it.
644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: As a gambler do you have a potential winning amount limit? on: August 08, 2023, 08:50:41 AM
But not everyone who seeks pleasure from gambling also expects to win because some gamblers deliberately look for games that are more exciting or more entertaining without thinking about whether it will result in a win or not.
We know that most gamblers are really looking for victory, but there's also no doubt that winning is difficult to get, so the most important thing is to feel happy and satisfied.
If you're a type of gambler with a main desire of having fun and winning is just a bonus, then that's good because you won't likely experience a problem related to your gambling activity. Because the usual problem of gamblers are unable to accept the fact that they lose their money in gambling. It's the start of trying to recover the losses and spending what they can't afford to lose.

If it's easy to win, then it's not a problem if you have the desire to win big.
I'm a little confused by those who are too obsessed with big wins to be willing to do anything to have this opportunity.
The thought that you can win big if you gamble your money is really tempting. Who don't want to win right? But it's a must that we have self-control so we can limit ourselves on how much to bet, and not to aim the winning amount based on our financial needs.
645  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: August 08, 2023, 07:12:37 AM
The listing on Poloniex exchange really had a positive impact to the price that's why it bounce back to 0.1 (currently the price is 0.11).

Now, RLB is not only exclusive to Rollbit gamblers because traders can also buy/sell on Poloniex. The team is really working hard to make this coin a worthy to add in our portfolio. I won't be surprise if RLB will get listed to other big exchanges soon (hopefully on Binance) so let's just wait and see.
Poloniex is no longer one of biggest exchanges but it has effects on the token price. Finally we have $RLB token on a centralized exchange that was expected by the community a long time so let me firstly congratulate the Rollbit team, token investors and traders who believe in the token and  bought it at cheap prices.

Second, let's think about future when $RLB token lists on bigger centralized exchanges. We should not ask for many centralized exchange listings consecutively but be patient and ready for it in future.

I believe the Rollbit team will make it happens, just time.
It's not a big exchange but, still, it has a positive impact. Though some people are not convince or don't want to engage themselves on buying RLB as they think it's not worth it (and understandable since we can't please everyone). What matter is there are investors/gamblers who are still buying. In addition, if we look back, there's a huge changes from the time it was launched up to present. Because now it is already tradable on exchanges and on Rollbit platform. So there's more to look forward. Anyway, it's still best to have less expectation since we don't know what lies ahead.
646  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should we rely on prediction? on: August 08, 2023, 03:16:40 AM
With all these being said I feel is time we face the reality that all these are just predictions, is under probability.
It's under probability that we should not rely on entirely since it is not accurate. Therefore why would you rely alone on other people's prediction if you can conduct your own research and analysis to know if their prediction has basis. There's nothing wrong if you follow these predictions but don't make a decision just because you're believing it can really happen.

Thus, invest based on your own knowledge and understanding on how far Bitcoin might reach in the future. So you won't miss the chance to fill your bag.
647  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Am confused !!!! on: August 08, 2023, 12:33:35 AM
Good day to you all, I am new here and I will like to get your advice, apart from bitcoin,do you think that there is a high possibilities of making profit from other altcoins. Also which wallet do you advise a newbie like me to use to store my coins. Are exchanges wallet an open source wallet. How can I differentiate an open source wallet from a close source wallet.
There's also a possibility to profit when you invest in altcoins. However, it's quite risky compared to investing in Bitcoin since majority of them don't have real use case and only good to hold for a short period. But despite this many investors are still believing they can gain huge when they invest in alts (or in shitcoins and meme) to give them x1000 profit. The reason why if you chose to invest in not established coins, might as well be prepared to lose your money since the result is uncertain.

On the other side as many users have said already, use a non custodial wallet or a hardware wallet. Don't use an exchange to store your coins.
648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anonymity is no longer a benefit of gambling with cryptocurrency. on: August 07, 2023, 08:01:31 AM
Because of KYC verification which is now done by most crypto casino to know the people who gamble on their casino, I think anonymity is no longer a benefit of gambling with cryptocurrency in crypto casino.

Am i wrong to think that this information on the internet needs to be updated.
You're not wrong because that's really true. If the casino is regulated by the Government, sooner or later they will ask kyc to their gamblers. So those casinos claiming their site has "No Kyc" is just using it to attract many gamblers to play on their site. But after some time, as a centralized casino they still need to verify the identity of their gamblers as part of compliance to the regulation.

Though there's still casinos existing as decentralized, majority are now licensed. So if you play on these sites expect that they will ask kyc at anytime especially if you're a whale gambler.
649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ADVICE]Boy Wins $46k from Sports Bet but Can't Tell Strict Religious Parents... on: August 07, 2023, 04:02:44 AM
Someone recently won $46,606 from making a correct prediction on one of the matches in the on-going 2023 FIFA Women World Cup competition from his wager of $10 on a sports betting website. The person is unemployed and within the ages of 20 - 23. He lives with his parents who are strict religious people that frown on gambling and other youthful vices. His parents are certainly not going to be happy that their son engages in gambling despite winning such huge amount of money. He doesn't want them to be upset with him. He says he's going to keep it a secret. I disagreed with him because despite having strict parents, they are going to be mad at him for a little while but I don't think they'll tell him to return the money. What do you guys think? Should he tell his parents or secretly invest the money while acting his regular self around the house?
Assuming this story really happened, for me at his age he already know what's right or wrong, old enough to know the consequence of his action. If his parents are religious and against gambling or this activity is prohibited on their religion, this is really a problem.

But since he didn't think twice when he gamble despite knowing his parents are against it. He has a choice to keep it a secret for now, save or invest the money until the right time comes while looking for a job to establish himself. Or tell to his parents what happened now and face the consequences for going against their will.
650  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: August 07, 2023, 01:58:19 AM
Yes I am like you, Roobet is one of the casinos that I trust and also has a good reputation. Especially with the contests they often organize, it becomes an attraction in itself, because not many casinos organize contests like they do.
They are quite smart in attracting many users, and contests are one way to attract the attention of many people so it can be said that it is a promotion in a different way that not many other casinos do.
It's not strange when they get a lot of trust from a lot of users.
Roobet didn’t stop their marketing effort despite of being known already and that makes this site special. Since the start pandemic I believe they are running the Art contest and until now we still have it, they attracted many gamblers already. Roobet also follow the season every year and have a different theme for it, they are very generous when it comes to giving promotions, that’s what I like with Roobet.
That's true. Roobet is already popular on this forum and all their marketing strategy from the past up to the present to attract the gamblers are really effective.

Though, they didn't return back their past promotions (guess the total wager and guess the slot) the art contest is still there and consistent. The prizes are indeed generous and that what makes them stand out to other casinos, for conducting an art contest exclusive for the forum users.
651  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: August 07, 2023, 12:50:44 AM

652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Importance of Gambling to the society on: August 06, 2023, 07:22:31 AM
What is the benefits of gambling to your society?
The tax, it's their contribution to help the Government and to continue operating legally. Aside from that, they're providing health funds, doing charity works and giving medical assistance for less fortunate people. I have relative who ask for medical assistance from casino and yes they're giving financial assistance as long as you can present a complete documents (medical records, receipts etc.)

Though we often see a casino as a bad influence to people because of the possibility to become addicted when we gamble. There's a good side of it that many of us can't see because the bad effect greatly outweigh the advantage of gambling. It's not all about the negative effect since there's also goodness if you look on the other side.
653  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: August 06, 2023, 03:34:41 AM

Price jumped to over $0.1 and was close to $0.11 before taking a dip after btc dip so yeah the poloniex list does have an impact on the price but pretty sure that its a temporary effect
It's again at $0.10 and it's great that after the listing prices have been impacted giving holders a benefit point so they can grow more with little corrections meanwhile. After this I am also analysing how it reacts in coming days to see if I want to increase my stash or sell few at profit.

654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greed can cause a lost bet, (true or false) on: August 06, 2023, 02:12:12 AM
This is often the reason why instead of having some profit in gambling, we tend to continue playing for wanting more, believing we can gain more if we continue. Also happened to me many times and after losing it all that's when I realized the mistakes that I did.

To my notice a lot of people still believe that this betking is a scam site after I have taken my time to explain, WHY? One of bitcointalk rules states that read the content of threads and some comments before posting, for basic informations read this comments carefully so you can get what am talking about.
this is the scam betking casino site and this is the legit betking site I am talking about
They have the same name so no wonder some users assumes it's the same betking that we know of as scam. Anyhow good to know that you're not playing in the scam site because even you happen to win the bet, you might get a problem withdrawing the money.
655  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: August 06, 2023, 01:09:26 AM
So you tried forex? Feeling you. We all think "I've got this!" but then realize "Nah, not today." Also happened to me! I heard you played games, right? Demos are best. Who wants to lose real money when you can muck up phony money? Slots, though? Slots are dazzling and beep-beep, like a screen party. This multiplier thing is cool. You say "Woohoo" when it's high and "meh" when it's low. However, you can enjoy it with a burger and beer. Who cares about winning? For enjoyment, sometimes you can just watch things spin while eating. Cheers to spinning and sweets

Those who are capable of losing money without feeling any regret will be the ones who don't mind losing money in exchange for the chance to win bigger amounts.  When other are enjoying their games with beverages and snacks, some people do not want to mix the pleasure.  They wanted the pleasure to be solely given by the gambling games and the possible winnings they can get.  But I do not mind having fun munching snacks and drinking beverages while observing gambling games in a demo mode.  Since the pressure of risking something is not available in playing demo games thus, the essence of gambling that brings excitement and tension is not present in demo games.
Though i'm only playing to have fun, I still prefer to gamble using real money and not just by trying the demo mode. Because in playing the live game, there's an excitement every time i'm placing bets, therefore the experience is different. But anyway, this depends on what we prefer and so if you feel satisfied even just playing the demos then that's good, no risk of losing money.

Nevertheless, regardless of what's your way to entertain yourself, make sure that you have discipline. Because spending too much time and money are not a healthy habit and there's often a consequences, either good or bad.
656  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why you will never become rich on: August 04, 2023, 04:56:37 AM
The first reason why you can never be rich is too much  responsibilities, carrying family problems on your head which we all know family problems are always around the corners and can't be totally eliminated.
It's quite normal to help our family. However if your siblings (and other members) are already grown up, can work on their own, then it's time to remove yourself in the picture as their breadwinner. Because if you don't change what they used to, you can't focus on yourself since you're always connected to your family even they're not your responsibility. It's good to help but let them learn how to earn by working hard so they can feed themselves.

Buying liabilities,  things that doesn't have value five years from now.  Many save but even when money is saved,  it is done to spend and not to invest and the only way to become rich is to invest and not by savings.  So , invest in assets and not liabilities.
A person with a goal of becoming rich knows how to manage his finances and aware what things are worthy to buy. Saving and investing are part of the process, the result depends how determine and wise you are to know when to spend, save and invest.
657  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Borrow to Buy Bitcoin is Not Advisable.Consider the Factors Before Doing That. on: August 04, 2023, 03:14:17 AM
The question is, is it bad to borrow? If you know for yourself that you are responsible for borrowing and paying, I see nothing wrong. Now, like the title said, is it really bad for you to buy bitcoin from debt?

If there were people who were doing that, I would have been one, because I couldn't buy bitcoin for 250$ in one shot I just borrowed and I just held the bitcoin in my wallet, but I did that because I had a lot expenses to do. And even so I did that I paid off my debt before my due date. And now the bitcoin that I owed the purchase that I was paid. This means that borrowing money is not bad, ...it only gets bad when you don't pay off your debt.
You have a point. It's not wrong to borrow if you can repay the money regardless of the result of your investment to Bitcoin. That means you're not relying on your profit from the investment to be able to pay the borrowed money. Now, if that's the case I don't see any problem.

However, for people who take a risk of borrowing just to invest (in general). Believing they can gain if they did that and will rely the repayment money on the income of their investment, then that's different. It's like gambling since you're not certain what might be the outcome. We always advice, just invest what you can afford to lose, it's very clear. Use your own money since investing is risky, if you'll borrow to invest, make sure that you can repay your loan because that's your responsibility.
658  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ~If you must trade~ on: August 04, 2023, 01:16:33 AM
I was having this strong contemplation, between emotion and patience which factor affects traders the most. I know we have other factors that can make a trader experience huge losses such as FUD, greed, lack of contentment, indiscipline and high expectations and over zealousness.
Having lack of patience is a result of not being able to control your emotion. Therefore, emotion affects the trader the most since it is the one influencing yourself to be impatient. The reason why it's important that you can control your emotion when you trade. If you let yourself decide based on what you feel (most common is fear) then chances are you might commit a wrong decision.

Though, emotion and patience are not the only factors that affect the traders to have a successful trade. It still plays an important role. It should be manage accordingly to minimize losing your money as a trader.
659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just Another Good Source Of Motivation For You ... on: August 03, 2023, 11:13:45 AM
This pretty much applies to investing in general and saving money in general. But a huge majority of people aren't really interested in investing (or worse, saving) unfortunately.
True. Many people are not into investing/saving and just want to spend their money on other things which they think would matter more. Thus even it's a wise thing to invest (regardless of how much you can afford), it still depends if the person is interested specially there's still people who are not aware of Bitcoin's existence.

Nevertheless, if you value your hard-earned money and would like to gain even it takes longer, why not try to invest? If we can spend our money on leisure, maybe it's time to also allocate funds for investment. Anyway, we have our own way of thinking so it's understandable if we can't please everyone.
660  Economy / Economics / Re: How Long in Years Should I Wait Before I Close Down an Unprofitable Business on: August 03, 2023, 09:16:37 AM
The hardest thing for entrepreneurs is to be able to survive and not loss in the first 3 years, according to the results of a study from experts, it takes at least 3 years for entrepreneurs to know whether the business will be profit or closed, unfortunately when 2 or 3 months loss then many are impatient so as to close Business and thinking looking for other business opportunities.
Well, 2 to 3 months are a short period to give up. It's a crucial stage to do your best through promoting and think of what your customers might like in order to be attractive and be competitive (if there's other same business near you).

It takes guts if you don't want your effort go wasted just because you're impatient and don't want to continue trying. On the other side, as an entrepreneur, you'll know if the business is gaining or it's already time to closed it down. That is, if you already did what you can do to make it profitable. Maybe that's not the right location or suited business for you so just keep trying.
