15941  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Zhou Tong, You better pay me now... on: July 28, 2012, 07:37:27 AM
So Maria, you gonna waste another 200k trying to get your 200k paid back from Zhou?

I love your plan!

15942  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Look at a pirate, eye to eye if you dare. on: July 28, 2012, 07:24:21 AM
Anyone saw pirate yet?
His plane is being tracked by all of Bitmanity. It's either about to touchdown or already has.

And all this whie I was thinking he was sailing in on the Black Pearl... Embarrassed
15943  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: The Bitcoin hashrate is about to pass or has already passed its Aug2011 peak on: July 28, 2012, 07:23:14 AM
Hashrate increase is imminent.

Less power, more GH/s = better competition for BTC

Whether BFL holds up to their supposed hashrates or not, over time people will find better ways to mine.
15944  Economy / Speculation / Re: Speculation concerning BS&T and PPT - Facts and thoughts on: July 28, 2012, 07:07:21 AM
Right before his supposed meet-up, he opens the "trust" to anyone, no referral/invite necessary. LOL

Looking forward to a bunch of posts from people wondering about their withdrawals... poor saps  Roll Eyes

Where can I find evidence of this?
15945  Economy / Speculation / Re: Speculation concerning BS&T and PPT - Facts and thoughts on: July 28, 2012, 07:05:20 AM
EDIT:  Screw it, I'll just report the thread, see if anything comes of it (who am I kidding).

Two things I noticed about you:

1. You erased your original post in this thread.

2. Your signature says it all. You dont think pirate will default and given that you dont like having people put up logical arguments that support him defaulting/running....you pull the "oh not another thread" argument.
15946  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if you checkpoint every block ? on: July 28, 2012, 06:08:21 AM
What if the attacker is doing lock ins too?
15947  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: The Bitcoin hashrate is about to pass or has already passed its Aug2011 peak on: July 28, 2012, 06:02:17 AM
To keep with the tradition of buying high and selling low, I shall celebrate by dusting of my 5830 and firing it up! Going solo!

Hurry up...if you're lucky you might make 15 bitcoins before the reward having later this year!
15948  Economy / Speculation / Re: Speculation concerning BS&T and PPT - Facts and thoughts on: July 28, 2012, 05:38:34 AM
You're right, but it is subtitled "Speculation about the Bitcoin price"

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=7.0

Didn't see that because I never go under economics.

Oh well...mods haven't mad a fuss about all the previous posts....
15949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Open challenge to BitcoinEXpress on: July 28, 2012, 05:36:34 AM
I think he/she don't have the courage.

I have no intention of ever bothering Bitcoin.

BCX holds a considerable amount of BTC. I wouldnt have any intention of harming the system that my investment is in either.
15950  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Open challenge to BitcoinEXpress on: July 28, 2012, 05:29:44 AM
Yes he has the courage....not the resources. But someone rich could....worth perhaps $10M or so.
15951  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin vs BTC on: July 28, 2012, 05:27:58 AM
I'm no litecoin hater, but let's see where the price is in about 2 to 6 weeks from now. Short-term....price is still too high. Go ahead guys and buy it at these prices....as Bruce Wagner would say..."it can only go UP UP UP!!!"

15952  Other / Archival / Re: deleted on: July 28, 2012, 05:18:30 AM
price is already dropping  Lips sealed

Spoken like a true "little girl".  Cheesy
15953  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will the price of Bitcoin exceed $31.90? (2011 high) on: July 28, 2012, 05:09:54 AM
just a hunch: If the price goes to 31 any time in the next two years, it will be thanks to those trying to get rich quick.

Or perhaps the rich just wanting to waste money by buying at high prices?
15954  Economy / Speculation / Re: Speculation concerning BS&T and PPT - Facts and thoughts on: July 28, 2012, 05:08:05 AM
Ugh, how many of these bloody threads do we need!!   If the mods in this place were chosen for their mod skills rather than their trolling ability we'd just consolidate the million other threads on this subject into one, like any other normal forum would.

Why do people get so pissy about threads?

I can understand getting mad about an asshole cutting you off on the road but a thread on a FORUM!?!?!?!?!

OMG it's the end of the world.

 Shocked Shocked Shocked

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Because:
1) There are already SO MANY POSTS about this subject. When pirate changed his rates, there were at least 6  threads simultaneously occurring on this forums all talking about it. It is/was too hard to keep up with the topic because it was ongoing in too many places at one time. The mods did a horrible job of locking/redirecting threads, and in my mind continue to do so (no offense mods, my two cents).
2) This subforum is for speculating ON THE PRICE OF BITCOIN. I wish the mods would either enforce that or change the description of this subforum. Can I speculate on whether or not pirate's next fart is going to stink? I hope not.
3) Unnecessary clutter is unnecessary.

Rolo is totally right. Every other forum I've been on would have consolidated all these threads into one in a heartbeat.

I dont see this subforum called "The price speculation of bitcoin"..........Under economy -> Speculation

Unnecessary whining is unnecessary.
15955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coblee shows intent to promote Litecoin centralization on: July 28, 2012, 03:19:50 AM
I wish people could be reasonable

but I realise that is an impossibility for some
and in this subforum people seem to go out of their way to be unreasonably stupid....
sigh

+1 Sometimes it is warranted to be funny...but obvious "I_RAPE_REALSOLID" can't get over the fact that soiledcoins/microCRASH is done and dead.
like quoting Perry Como lyrics?

If wishes were kisses, I'd still be kissing you
I'd hold you in my arms again the way I used to do
If wishes were kisses, how happy I would be

I'd always have you close to me to thrill me through and through
If dreamers were schemers, I'd make my dream come true
If wishes were kisses, I'd still be kissing you

If wishes were kisses, how happy I would be
I'd always have you close to me to thrill me through and through
If dreamers were schemers, I'd make my dream come true
If wishes were kisses, I'd still be kissing you

Wow...who posted that prior to this?

That's pretty uncalled for lol.

EDIT:  Screw it, I'll just report the thread, see if anything comes of it (who am I kidding).

The thread wasn't even meant to troll.

This is the speculation SUBFORUM. And I am posting about speculation.

Where am I going wrong? Or do you just like to cry a lot?
15957  Economy / Auctions / Re: Liteco.in domain on: July 28, 2012, 03:05:07 AM
This is just an idea but for next time auction bidders should deposit certain amount of Litecoin before they can start bidding to filter serious guys only and increase the value of auction.
Max bidding = max deposit.

No
15958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ATTN Litecoin GPU Miners - Scrypt support for cgminer on: July 28, 2012, 03:03:44 AM
Finally, if you think the coins will never be worth the electricity paid for them, you have a pretty pessimistic outlook, why bother at all if the damn things will never be worth that much?
Why pay $10 electric for 1 BTC when you can buy them for $9 on MtGox?
Going this way network will be down in matter of days - no miners, everyone want to buy, but noone to close blocks.
No, because other miners can still get 1 BTC for $8 of electricity or less Wink

Not all miners have this ability mind you. The suggestion was for those (i'm guessing) that are spending more money paying for electricity than to just outright buy it.

Ah fuck it, get on the ignore list you annoying twat.   After all this has blown over and Pirate has or hasn't defaulted I'll take you off, but for now I just can't stomach the same old bullshit coming out of your mouth constantly.

New Form of a comeback: <hit the ignore button>....."TAKE THAT!"
