161  Economy / Speculation / Re: Catalyst for recent bitcoin dump on: May 20, 2021, 03:07:22 AM
I think this dump is inevitable. The Growth to $50k was just too much and it stays above that for a very long time. Even if Elon Musk did something different, it will still happen. It's just that Elon Musk was holding this dip for a long time. Now that Elon Musk stops supporting Bitcoin, it started to happen.

But hey, lots of cheap coins on the market so I ain't complaining.
162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warning to all the crypto investors and Bitcoin supporters on: May 19, 2021, 07:49:09 AM
I get what you are saying but what you are doing is kind of pointless though since it doesn't matter if you dump all your Doge coin, or defame him, another whale will just pick up your bag.

Elon Musk isn't the problem here, it's the people who are buying his bullshit as if it's the word of God or something. We can only blame ourselves for that. We really can't do anything about it except ignore him or go with the flow of the market. Adapt.

Well, at least he helped with the publicity of Bitcoin though. I think it's partly thanks to him that more institutional investors are eyeing on Bitcoin, at least in the past months.

Just wait for a few months or so, people will get tired of him eventually.
163  Other / Off-topic / Re: Now tell me if you still believe on Elon Musk. on: May 19, 2021, 04:43:44 AM
Well, his tweets are reliable (as a signal for me to sell), not credible. To be honest, I only follow him because every time he tweets anything regarding cryptocurrency, he pumps Bitcoin. Well, he's like my signal to sell lol. Now he's becoming my signal to buy.
164  Economy / Speculation / Re: Everyone acting like there hasn’t been dips like this during a bitcoin bull mark on: May 18, 2021, 04:35:59 AM
To be fair it's not everyone though, I bet it's only those who follows Elon Musk and his shills that's panicking right now. They probably feel betrayed after what Elon did to Bitcoin. Though I guess he still into Doge coin, looking at his recent tweet.

165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The dude makes $50k every day from dogecoin scams on: May 18, 2021, 03:55:22 AM
The worst part is that it's never going to stop and there's no way to track this. He will probably just use a decentralized exchange to exchange all this Doge coin and get all the money clean with mixer. It's just another typical scam to be aware of though. There's literally hundreds of it spread out in the internet.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $FELON - A coin created against Elon Musk on: May 18, 2021, 03:35:28 AM
People are purchasing Dogecoin so it's no surprise that people are going to buy some of it to ride the train, or probably just hates Elon Musk that much lol. It's actually pretty smart for the developer to create this because Elon Musk just made a lot of investors lose money.
167  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: A member LIST .. What do we speculate the price will be this summer JOIN IN on: May 18, 2021, 02:10:56 AM
$55,343
It's hard to get above $60,000 price range even with the shill of Elon Musk. Now that Elon's been FUD Bitcoin, it's going to get even harder to climb. I'd say it's going to get stable around $55k after Elon is done being the hot topic.
168  Other / Archival / Re: The community created a petition: Elon Musk, sell your bitcoin on: May 18, 2021, 01:38:01 AM
The more attention people give him, the more influence he can exert.  Petitions give him more attention.
I agree with you. What Elon wants is almost the same as what McAfee wanted previously, he tried to get people's attention. I don't know what the specific purpose, it can be related to his company (Tesla) or the status of one of the richest people in the world labelled on him. However, in fact, he is getting popular after he tweets about crypto, Doge, or Bitcoin. At least, he knows by doing this, his popularity improved and more people know about Tesla company.

Exactly. Famous influencers have been making videos about cryptocurrency, Doge, and Elon Musk recently to the point that he is being introduced to other people. I've been even hearing people talking about Elon Musk here in our place. What he's doing is definitely working for him and he is not going to stop anytime soon.

This petition is meaningless and is probably getting laugh at by Elon Musk in his man cave or something.
169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla destroys bitcoin :-[ on: May 13, 2021, 06:07:03 AM
"Destroys Bitcoin" Is a little bit an exaggeration. Bitcoin can grow so much even without the help of Tesla shilling it, it's just that Elon Musk really had us in there for a while. To be honest, it's not a big deal. With or Without Tesla, other companies are still eyeing on Bitcoin.
170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bret Lee Bitcoin charity For India" on: April 30, 2021, 02:11:40 AM
How ironic that their Government is accepting something that they are trying to reject for a long time.

It is good to see that players are donating money in any asset class but the sad truth should be will the money be used to help people.

Yeah, it's really hard to trust them with that money especially that it's chaos out there. People wouldn't ask for audit of this donation since not everyone knows it and most likely doesn't care as long as they think someone is going to help them.
171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tokyo-Based Game Maker Nexon Purchased $100M in Bitcoin on: April 30, 2021, 01:11:36 AM
That's the right decision. Although they chose the wrong time for this.

But there's no wrong time. You can invest in Bitcoin anytime because of it's long-term capabilities to go higher. Just look at the past years, people keeps saying it's the wrong time to invest but you would regret not buying at that time.

Nexon did a fantastic job investing in Bitcoin.  Though it's only 2% of their reserves, it's still a significant amount.
172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would having a Debate like: Bitcoin vs Gold win more crypto investors on: April 30, 2021, 12:59:43 AM
I mean, they aren't really that influential outside investors who are probably already aware of Bitcoin and Gold. It'll be pretty hard for the average Joe go get attracted to Bitcoin from this debate alone. To be honest, It's not even necessary to have this debate since Bitcoin fulfills a different role from Gold.
173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk statement on his Bitcoin holding on: April 29, 2021, 03:12:05 PM
Telsa sells bitcoin to prove liquidity yet Elon Musk claims his personal stash of bitcoin is not touched. I remember he said one time he doesn't own bitcoin. Stories just getting twisted with each passing day.

Well to be fair, Tesla's Bitcoin holdings is very much different from his own bag so his claims are valid. It's pretty obvious that he has some secret Bitcoins stored in but he just doesn't want people to know how much he have. I don't know the reason though.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Elon Musk "Smart" Tweeting Continues! on: April 28, 2021, 11:33:19 AM
I can basically smell money here lol. If he really did try to meme doge coin or even mention it in a television, there's going to be a massive buying orders following. Just look at the gains below, people are probably getting hyped about this and are accumulating now.

175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Musk NO HODL - Sells at ATH - Pockets $272M in profit - Leave HODLR's empty bag on: April 27, 2021, 01:50:48 PM
It's pretty obvious. You can't expect everyone to hold Bitcoin forever. It's not like he's doing anything wrong. "Leave HODLR's empty bag" is a bit of an overstatement because he didn't really pressured any investors to invest in Bitcoin and hold them.

Let me add. It's Tesla who sold those Bitcoin, not Elon Musk's Personal holdings, at least according to him. I think Elon Musk doesn't have full control over this decision.

176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Britcoin" Scam, UK's new CBDC on: April 27, 2021, 08:18:26 AM
This is just speculation anyway. They are still looking into it so this might not exist for a very long time. To be honest, the sounds like one of those fake Chinese products that tries to copies something like "Adidas" and naming it "Adidang"  Grin.
177  Local / Pilipinas / Re: ito is it worth a while? para makapagearn ng other altcoins pagsumali dito on: April 27, 2021, 04:57:43 AM

178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the significance of taking profit on: April 27, 2021, 04:51:22 AM
Maybe today some lost a lot of their portfolio, maybe from thousands of dollars to a hundred of dollars, this is why taking gains or profit are very important
since the start of 2021 the price of tokens have gone have breaking statistics, altcoins take an all-time high, and we are very happy all these things turn into a nightmare in a single day, almost all of my friends never touch their coin hoping they would reach another all-time high, the same thing that happens in 2017, now the market almost wipe all of our portfolios, what's the lesson of this, when there is a chance to take profit, take it, small or big, it's again, I saw some posting they earn millions, they are so happy, but after a day they regret it, why because they are so ambitious, and no contentment on what they have, always take gains, don't let it slip away or you'll regret it.

But what your saying is pretty vague. First of all, when are you going to take profit? can you say that I should take profit at 5% gain? 10% gain? 20% gain? what if that coin suddenly burst into 100% gain? it's really hard to tell people to take profit when it's really hard to predict that movement of the market.

I think what's most people missing is a goal. They just invest in whatever coin they want and just leave it, expecting to be a millionaire. They don't set a realistic gain and in turn makes them regret later on.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin liquidations briefly surpass Bitcoin. New altcoin era? on: April 27, 2021, 04:44:48 AM
-snip

That's stupid. Bitcoin's Liquidity is steady compared to the unpredictable state of Dogecoin. This kind of events doesn't really marks any era. This just shows how influential Elon Musk really is to be able to make people (even those who are not investors) invest in Dogecoin.
