1161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Old good airdrops on: October 16, 2019, 01:15:22 AM
Airdrop days are gone and no more, you should know that. Projects nowadays are with referral programs now because it would spread the name faster and hard to abuse. 2017 is a big part of history because that is where the hype begun. Along with it is the airdrop that you are longing for, they are the thing of the past and can never be created again.

I was earning hundreds of dollars during those days but now they are garbage, not even worth or close enough to pay my bills of electricity and time.
1162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Inflation With Crypto? How? on: October 15, 2019, 02:54:37 AM
It's not like Bitcoin is the only crypto created, you can also try by switching to a stablecoin like GOLD which the price rarely decrease and is always in-demand. Although you could buy physical gold, crypto is still the way to go as transactions can be hidden and is digital. Also, you won't have to worry about the price decreasing just like Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies out there. For sure, gold will be the safe haven of the investors in this situation.
1163  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Watch out! The $5 Wrench Attack on: October 15, 2019, 02:43:43 AM
1164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - Store of Value or Method of Payment on: October 14, 2019, 02:12:22 AM
There's no absolute answer but I know that people can do whatever they want to their Bitcoin because they have the freedom to do so. That's what's great about Bitcoin because it is not limiting us to what we can do. We can use it as a store of value, trading like a stock, or as a way of payment. People can do just what they want and that is the reason why Bitcoin is popular.

1166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What makes you still join the bounty campaigns? on: October 13, 2019, 01:17:08 AM
Because bounty hunting doesn't mean you have to join bounties that pays in token that has no value. There are several bounties that pays in Tokens that are already in exchange and ready to be sold. Although it's rare, you find those and you'll be rewarded.

The other way to do it is to join a lot of bounties and do them all. Eventually you will get some profit out of it if you are lucky enough to join a decent project. It's really rare to find a decent if I may add.

Although I haven't seen one, you can also try to find a bounty from IEO projects.
Pero it's better safe than sorry I think.

Aside from sending malwares and viruses, I think ang isa pa sa kaya nilang gawin ay i-list ang mga email na nakuha nila sa listing at bombahin ng kung ano-anong product or ibenta sa posibleng client. I know kasi na experience ko na ito. Ang tawag dito is email marketing.

1168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins better or stable during bitcoin lot of movement on: October 12, 2019, 03:10:08 PM
stop blaming bitcoin for the failure of shitcoins.

altcoins are down 80% to 99% because they are pump and dump schemes that have been pumped before and went into unrealistic prices and now that they have lost 99% of that ATH they are starting to get closer to their realistic prices.
it has nothing to do with bitcoin and it being volatile.

I slightly disagree. Altcoin follows the movement of Bitcoin because almost all altcoins price are based on satoshi and not USD, people know that. If Bitcoin were to decrease in price, altcoins will follow (at least most of them), regardless of their development. Just look at Monero and Ethereum. They are altcoins that has actual use but still didn't survive the dumping phase.

You are right about most altcoins being dump because they are shit but you are wrong about Bitcoins price and it's volatility having nothing to do with other altcoins price at some point. If you look at the market history, you can see that most, if not every, altcoin follows Bitcoins movements. Altcoin still depends on Bitcoins price.

1170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Doing This? on: October 11, 2019, 02:00:54 AM
In my case, no. It's easier to just keep it that way to avoid any private invasions. But I've of course put aside some of my assets and put them like a life insurance just in case something happened. I have crypto as a hobby but most of my income comes from the outside world. I do take out some profit out of my assets but I never tell them to my family.

1171  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Cryptocurrencies at Financial Planning on: October 11, 2019, 01:49:43 AM

1172  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [Bagong exchange] COEXSTAR on: October 10, 2019, 05:45:21 AM
Nako po, new exchange nanaman. Talagang good news to saatin para narin hindi ma monopolize ng coinspro ang exchanges dito sa pilipinas. Papatok kaya ito sa masa? Hindi ako pamilyar sa mga coins na ilalabas nila (according to npredtorch) pero bakit dalawa? Stable coin ba yung isa?

1173  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Is this the RIGHT TIME on: October 09, 2019, 02:02:46 AM

Marami naman magagandang coins o crypto, so ang gagawin mo lang para malaman kung ano ang pinka-hot Google search mo lang... halimbawa, what is the best cryptocurrency to invest in 2019, o kaya what is the best cryptocurrency to buy makikita mo napakaraming search words na lalabas.

1174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Fully Decentralized World is Possible? on: October 09, 2019, 01:12:11 AM
It's still so hard to see full decentralization. As time goes by, are privacy is dwindling as technology continues to develop further. Even though we have Bitcoin to start, I think it's not enough to defeat the government's control over our privacy. Also, decentralization means there would no governing to the populace which I think would create a lawless world were there is disarray everywhere. Not good don't you think?

I'd say it will take more than Bitcoin to fully decentralized our world if we're to headed that way, we're probably be dead by then.
1175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Popularity of BITCOIN on Twitter Declining? on: October 08, 2019, 03:02:53 AM
That #Bitcoin tag is an inaccurate thing to search because most of them came from bounty hunters which promotes their project and put #tag in it. Not to mention that there's a lot of alt accounts being created just to promote projects and get extra rewards. I'd say the amount of accounts getting used has dwindled down this year compared to last or the amount of bounty hunters has fallen down because of how ICO is turning out to be.
1176  Local / Pilipinas / Re: [Digital asset act of 2019] umuusad na sa Senado on: October 08, 2019, 02:31:12 AM
Please update us OP kung anong magiging takbo ng hearing. Even though this is just the start, nakikita na natin na pinapansin na ng ating gobyerno ang cryptocurrency.

It would be interesting to know where and how they will tax crypto-enthusiast like us, so abangan nalang natin ang kaganapan sa Senado pero mukhang busy sila, matalakay kaya ito.

1178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee To Launch New Decentralized Exchange – McAfeeDex on: October 07, 2019, 02:20:13 AM
You mean the pump and dump shilling expert John mcafee? I remembered the time when he recommended Electroneum and it got pump so high that even cryptopia got server lagged. Then a few mins later it got dump. Then when he said the verge (I can't remember the name) would reach $150 or something, it got pump then the moment he said it's $15, it got dump again. What an expert!

I wonder what he will do with his exchange now. Since DEX is a very trusted popular exchange nowadays, I think he's going to do his pump and dump coin shilling in his own exchange now for more profit. What a genius
1179  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Small-time tech shops accept Bitcoin as payment on: October 06, 2019, 02:02:19 AM
Halos may nakita din akong ganto, similar na nag aacept nag Bitcon pero and business niya is exchange Bitcoin to peso.
1180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why not use Exchange instead of Mixer? on: October 06, 2019, 01:52:10 AM
So, Mixers provide service of shuffling bitcoins or provide addresses loaded with bitcoins along with private keys. In short, they provide service so to create anonymity between sender's and receiver's address so that no one can trace the transaction.
My question is why not use Exchanges? When we deposit funds on exchange, bitcoins get deposited on exchange's cold wallet. But when we withdraw funds, withdraw gets processed from exchange's hot wallet. So in short, it is very easy to do anonymous transfer by depositing funds on exchange and withdrawing to other addresses. Why to pay 1-3% fees on Mixers when it could be done for much less on Exchanges. Exchanges like Binance charge just 0.0005 BTC to process withdrawals.

That won't work. Most exchanges ask for email addresses or worst, KYC. if you fill this up, you are already telling them your location so it won't work when you want to do anonymous transactions. Mixer is still a better choice. Well, decentralized exchange can be a choice too if that is what you are saying. I don't know much about the transaction process of decentralized exchange but they don't ask for KYC or email address. Just don't forget to use TOR or VPN.
