161  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Islamophobia has never killed anyone. Muslim hate crimes are by Muslims. on: June 07, 2015, 10:07:50 AM
I don't know how any sane person could believe such a thing, but Islamophobia had killed before and it is killing right now hundreds if not thousands ( Actual genocides that just happened or are happening right now : Central Africa, Southern Asia countries such as Burma Cobodia, and even in europe Bosnia.....)

Islamophobia death are also part of our western society, many death were reported as Islamophobia, but being it media or goverment, police whatever, will always filled it under something else such as mental issues, a fight of some sort ..

To resume, this article is none sense and simply trash with no journalistic ethics aka putting up a decent argumentation with proofs, and the source is even worse just read the trash they are posting, so the whole discussion in this thread doesn't make sense at all

163  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Mossad and CIA about to overthrow the elected government of Macedonia on: May 25, 2015, 10:08:11 PM
It's easy for the CIA and co to claim the conspiracy theory card on this. Despite all the proofs and even after the revelation of secret documents from events such as Vietnam, Panama, Iran....., people will believe media no matter which I find sad and disturbing.

Many other countries try to do the same, and In fact Russia is trying to hold grip on the stats that once formed the USRR, but then again no other country has the means being it financial or economic to do these kind of things on a similar scale to the US

For now there isn't enough documentations or proof on this in my opinion, but I think with the recent reboot of wikileaks we might get some more informations
164  Other / Meta / Re: Need more information on hack on: May 25, 2015, 09:29:24 PM
I would like to know which IP addresses of me were exactly leaked out.
The post from theymos says the last used IP, and the registration IP. So I don't think any IP other than those 2 were leaked.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1067985.msg11445725#msg11445725

I think Theymos or someone who has a real gasp about the problem should post an example of a made for purpose account so the average joe can understand the extend of the problem.

It's been a while last I logged, and only saw this on reddit yesterday and servers were still down.

A suggestion to those who's emails are important make sure to use double authentification.

If anything this proves two things :

1- US Police are way trigger happy, instead of using their weapons as a last ressort.

2- The firearms situation is just ridiculous, the situation is mainly due to the ease of circulation of firearms and the ease of getting one....
167  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for ISP Services for BTC. on: November 30, 2014, 03:04:51 PM

That might not be the true reason for it. People could still give their details, and make the payment with bitcoins instead of using a card and doing all the time consuming steps.

I believe the whole point of him paying in bitcoin is for anonymity
168  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for ISP Services for BTC. on: November 29, 2014, 09:08:33 PM
There is no such service for broadband at least, the simple reason is that broadband Internet services requires full identifications, valid address and what's not and it makes people liable by law....

Or maybe I missed your point, you are asking someone to share his Internet connection for your use?

What I might suggest is, if you want your private Internet One of these two things :

Get an anonymous phone rechargeable chip with Internet connectivity over 3g or 4g
Or, if they offer international services, satellite Internet
I believe both can be provided anonymously in some countries.

171  Other / Politics & Society / Re: THE OIL AND GAS BUBBLE IS ABOUT TO POP!!! on: November 22, 2014, 01:03:15 PM
No it is not.

The reason why Oil and Gaz prices are low is due to Saudi Arabia strategy to punish the US for it new oil policy (shale and what's not) and of course political reasons such as the US getting closer to Iran....

By keeping Oil prices low, Saudi Arabia mainly is making investement and breaking even point of shale oil and other alternative very difficult and Saudi Arabia is ready to keep the price low for a couple of years if it needs two, other countries like Venezella or Algeria ...ect cannot afford that
I think it would be backwards for Saudi Arabia to "punish" the US by having energy prices low. It is especially backwards to keep it low in order to delay the development of new technology of extracting oil.

Higher oil prices would have a much worse impact on the US economy and the US government over both the short and long term, especially sharply higher oil prices (just think of what happened in the 1970's oil/gas crisis.

You didn't read my comment properly please reread it again.

I suggest you to look at US Oil importation production, and Shale Oil production in the last 4 years, also check out, the production for shale oil in the US, maybe you'll understand, I also invite you to check out the Shale oil revolution plan by the whitehouse

And for good measure and read :

This is not the only ridiculous US law, there are so many of them a simple google search will get you hundreds of them... an example a dozen http://justsomething.co/the-22-most-ridiculous-us-laws-still-in-effect-today-2/

It is sad to see that feeding other humans in need can get you to jail ...
176  Other / Off-topic / Re: Iphone or Samsung on: November 09, 2014, 08:58:07 PM
if it is between the two go with the iPhone 6, if you want other choices, I suggest you to look at the HTC M8 one of the best phone ever, LG G3 is also a good choice and prices are droping, as for samsung, you can go with the Note4 or Edge but the S5 I don't recommend it in comparison to the phones mentioned above

178  Other / Politics & Society / Re: American Democracy: Powering Down on: November 09, 2014, 07:52:13 PM
I always wonder when my US friends talks to me about the US as being a model of democracy, while I believe it is not, it is a broken system, when a bunch of guys holds more power than the rest of population in electing the president. when it comes to senator voting, it again a borken system where interest and lobying takes a huge part since campaign is related to money, and since there are no limite to compaign the one with the most cash will have the most out reach... also it's funny how high profile jobs are given to people that financed the compaign of the president even if they are technically speaking are don't the skills or competences to do it, such as diplomatic jobs and what's not ..... Yes there are some good parts, but as a whole I think the democratic model of the US is really broken.
179  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Islam Quiz: How much do you know? on: September 16, 2014, 08:49:09 PM
Sunni and Shiite Islam: Do you know the difference? Take the quiz.

Most of the world's major religions are made up of multiple sects or denominations, and Islam is no different. Islam's two major sects are the Sunnis and the Shiites, and the division and interplay between the two is a major factor in the geopolitics of the Middle East. How well do you understand Sunni and Shiite Islam? Take the quiz and find out.
http://www.csmonitor.com/World/Middle-East/2012/0205/Sunni-and-Shiite-Islam-Do-you-know-the-difference-Take-our-quiz/Question-1

Well...I really did worse than I expected with 11 Correct and 8 Wrong for 58% .The average is 69%. Try it. Don't put up the ones you actually got right or wrong as that will give all the right answers to the next player. Good luck!

ISLAM:  How much do you know?

I know they need to get their act together and control their own crazies, instead of looking the other way while those crazies kill, torture, behead, bomb, hijack and blow up airplanes, and rant like mad dogs on social media.

That's really all I need to know.

That would be simplifying things too much, the situation is way more complex than that, for instance if we look at IS in Iraq, the surrounding countries cannot intervene for two reasons, the main one is geopolitical as you have Iran and Saudi Arabia that want to establish their influence on the area but the biggest issues here is that any misstep would create a religious war between sunnit and shiite especially that in Iraq things are already hot, the other reason would be becoming a target them self the danger here is not an open war but militia war and terrorist attacks, it is relatively easy for IS members to get into those countries in comparison to the US or European countries. and Of course there many reasons, and this is only one example
