Terraforming requires Nuclear Fusion energy, actually mars is perfect for nuclear fusion because there is no will by current governments to adopt fusion on earth so Mars will be a good scenario.

However the logistics involved to construct massive fusion plants and teraforming technology will require another 300-500 years+ of advancement.

For the last time Mars One is a bullshit project, that will fail or significantly delayed.

Terraforming Mars doesn't require Nuclear fusion per say, just energy, in fact using your average coal or oil energy station would much much more effective (as it produce, greenhouse gas) than nuclear fusion which basically a clean energy. The thing about terraforming is that it takes times, and resources, I believe that before thinking about terraforming it's more important to start by getting there and turning Mars into a permanent habitat for a group of humans to justify going trough a terra forming process

Btw in around a billion years the sun will be hot enough that Mars will be hot as hot if not hotter than our current earth, and with the CO2 and water melting in caps it might terraform the planet (atmospheric pressure will increase dramatical and liquid water will form) and and life on earth will not be possible anymore, heck even Jupiter moons will start to become more earth like (the ones with atmosphere like titan).

882  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best place to build the Bitcoin island in the international waters on: April 24, 2014, 03:59:00 PM
There are 2 places that come to mind (and I expressed this in another articale)

1. Near Morocco in the atlantic ocean, where fiber optic lines coming from NA, EU and Africa meets

2. The other place, is a bit disadvantageous, but has similar advantages, I believe south asian region, near philipines, is a good place

Checked both the locations. Internationals waters near these two locations are too deep to build the island. Shallower locations are available, but they are not in the international waters.

International waters are by definition deep, and both location have some places that are not deep and they are on international deep (of course it's all relative but 100 or 200meters deep, is not close 2 or 3 or 4Km deep

Murrica (not even going to talk about poor Canadians) phone plans are ridiculously expensive and phone carriers there are ripping their clients since no one is complaining about it, it was the same case here in EU Intel half a decade ago, when phone carriers got slammed with huge fines, and consumer organization stepped in, heck countries like France or Germany you can have an Unlimited call sms/mms data plan (3gb of fair use) for 15-20€ VAT included
884  Other / Off-topic / Re: Grams Darknet Search Engine on: April 24, 2014, 01:25:22 AM
I think you can only search for drugs and other illegal substances. it is like google with special filter.

You can search lower than the Charter Web with it. Hopefully nobody does this. Crazy shit goes on below the Charter, and even Tor can't protect you from it. You have to have at least 1-2 VPNs. Most users from HackForums haven't even gone on it. And I thought we were the craziest fan base out there.

Charter web what is that?

The Charter Web is the Level 4 and dark secret part of the internet. It mostly deals with Government and legal/political stuff/secrets. It is a high chance you will be tracked here and the FBI will show up, especially if you find out something big. Other than that, child porn, human trafficing, cannibalism and more lurks in this area. Though most people tend to choose level 3 of the internet (the deep web), or level 5 (the Marianas Web). Level 5 is beyond this and The Marianas Web. It is good to have some Proxy or Tor here. Though in this level, Tor and most other protection add-ons tend to start becoming unuseful as this is where the super hackers lurk that can easily outsmart mostly anything thrown at them. I would not suggest going past this level, even entering this level at all (same with level 3). But if you do, be warned.

Hmm I look it up, although I doubt I can get beyong the deep web (which I've heard off thanks to the silkroad shit) also if I remember correctly the Hiddenwiki contained sites like that for drugs and arm traficking, but never seen anything beyond that, but I'm not surprised shit like that exist, I'll try to read more about it
885  Other / Off-topic / Re: Drank all the milk from a coconut...opened it up and it was full of fungus on: April 24, 2014, 12:51:57 AM
Depends on what it is, I didn't check cans, but I have glanced over the ingredients, I think I've pretty much given up on the canned stuff, but when I look at food I also pay attention to the price and things like that, I've just recently been buying bacon that's a little bit more but has way more pork in it and less water, tastes fantastic.

I do all my cooking myself the majority of the time so I very rarely run into health problems like the OP is going into, I think I've only ever had problems when I've ordered from somewhere etc.

there were several reports on canned or glass products that had insects and even animals inside of them, a look at the ingredients won't help with that, you just hope that everything is alright because you can't ever check everything, it's good to be cautious and you are doing the right thing, but luck is an important factor as well

If it is a real black market, than it can't be considered safe as things that are presented are either illegal or don't have safety control (but sometimes it's just about avoiding paying taxs so in that regard they can be relatively safe) but overall, just know the risks and what you are doing

Time to innovate maybe, I guess the best way to go is p2p as the blockchain might not handle the amount of message and the way a forum works, I think there should be an open source for a p2p solution, but till then ^^ my home is obvious
891  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's wrong with eating meat? on: April 23, 2014, 12:38:17 PM

If it weren't for plants you also wouldn't be here typing right now, this is a fact. You don't need to consume meat, all those nutrients you are talking about such as proteins, calcium, enzymes, vitamins such as B12, can all be found in meat substitutes

And ? I don't understand the whole point of you argument here, if it wasn't for meat you wouldn't be typing here this is a fact, meat kicked human evolution ( a scientific fact) and meat cannot be be easily substituted not by any mean.

Thought you were a christian or are you one that believes in evolution? Is it true that we wouldt have evolved without eating meat? Couldnt we have got the protein from elsewhere?

We couldn't, we are talking about natural occurrence here, also there is evolution and evolution ^^ getting

What do you mean by the last part?  Huh

The part of evolution that meats contributed two is making us more intelligent more efficient ect, we aren't talking about human Darwinism here, (which was not proven to this day or age btw...) ^^
892  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's wrong with eating meat? on: April 23, 2014, 12:27:45 PM

Without plants you wouldn't be here either. Your argument is without meat we wouldn't be here, to which I reply with, without plants you wouldn't be here. You can also argue plants gave you evolution.
No I do not argue about such a thing where do you see me doing so, see the difference between us? is that I do not denies that plants are important to us, while you do argue that meat is not, so your argument is invalid here and I still have a point

Do you not see the subtition meat above? It's like you are going right over evidence and say it doesn't exist.
I said it's not easy and I backed up my point, there is no over confidence here.

According to the same fallacy that you believe in, that meat is available, is the same reason why a lot of animals are extinct. Due to negligence and lack of education.
Or destroying the animals habitat to build more farm and crop lands? is this really an argument? most of the meat we are eating nowadays we are producing our selfs so no we aren't pushing cows, chicken or fish to their doom and in remoted regions like in some regions in Africa people who hunt for their meat aren't the one endangering the species if I recall correctly.

No you don't need to ingest cholesterol. It is a naturally occurring substance your body produces. Fact: Half of all men in the US will getCardiovascular Disease. http://www.health.harvard.edu/newsweek/Understanding_Cholesterol.htm
Please check your argument again which clearly was that cholesterol and fat are bad for your health which is totally wrong, Abusing them it's what bad. as for the "Fact: Half of all men in the US will get Cardiovascular Disease." it might be true, but what does it have to do with eating meat? some are fat just from eating fried potatoes and other vegetables (doesn't mean abusing meat won't result to this)  abusing anything can ruin your health thus like I said before balanced diet is the key!

You threw out all your credibility when you say vegetarians have a 100% increase in colorectal cancer, since they have a 39% increase of colorectal cancer and that was due to having not high enough Vitamin B12 which you can get from multivitamins. Fact: Vegetarians have a lower overall cancer risk, obesity risk, coronoary heart disease, high blood pressure, and diabetes:
http://www.heart.org/HEARTORG/GettingHealthy/NutritionCenter/Vegetarian-Diets_UCM_306032_Article.jsp

where did I say such a thing, please read again what I said, you are mistaking completely and thank you for proving my point.

894  Other / Off-topic / Re: What RAID ARRAY are you running in? on: April 23, 2014, 11:56:08 AM
Ohh, i thought i read some where u need at least 4 drives for raid 10.

I guess you need at least 2.
To implement RAID 10 you need at least two physical hard drives; just using two partitions on the same hard drive is inadequate. You also need a disk controller that understands RAID.

I might replace my raid1 with raid 10.

Oh it does require 4 or more d
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nested_RAID_levels#RAID_1.2B0

Windows needs 4 disks. Linux needs 2 disks. For raid 10. interesting :S

http://www.intel.com/support/chipsets/imsm/sb/CS-009337.htm#raid10

Yup, getting 4 drives on windows is non issue, instead of going with 2TB HDD for example just got with 2x1TB and with your 2x SDD that's 4 RAID 10 , the advantages of both worlds and no drawbacks

(also yes it's a type I meant throw in)
895  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why are Asian women so hot? on: April 23, 2014, 11:47:30 AM
I thought that Morocco is wealthy country. Why people imigrate from it?

No it is not, not by any mean, It's a very dynamic country with a steady growth, but Morocco doesn't have oil like the middle east countries for example, it will get eventually but right now it's not rich
How do you mean they will get oil in the future?

Maybe, as the region is supposed to have Oil, and oil search is accelerating also Morocco has considerable schist reserves, no not that, the Economy of Morocco dispite it being really tied to the EU Economy which suffered greatly due to the economical crisis, Morocco kept 4-5% year to year economical growth, it's also massively investing in different projects, being it renewable energy resources, (one of the biggest solar thermal stations in the world is opening soon there, wind farms, hydro,....ect) , infrastructure, building the biggest port in africa and the Mediterranean, industries, such as car manufacturing, aeronautic ect , it's developing rapidly, for those who have money, it's a good place to invest in, while things aren't crazy expensive yet, (an example housing price increased by several folds in the last decade) of course not everything is white there are some problems in some areas like every country in the world, but things are being fixed and getting to the better

I guess the question to relate this back to the thread is how many sexy Asian or Moroccan women exist in the country, how do you acquire them and do you speak their language Smiley

Not to mention asian, or rather, right some southern asian women are starting to imigrate there, in Morocco they do speak Arabic and French fluently usually (two language I speak) they also speak spanish in north but it's less spread, in cities like Marrakech almost all languages are spoken especially in Jamaa Alfna lol, or in El medina souks
896  Other / Off-topic / Re: How, in the end, do you think the world will end? on: April 23, 2014, 11:41:57 AM
Or the sun will die one day, all life will die, and eventually the earth is going to get sucked in into a black hole.
don't worry about the sun it is not going anywhere any time soon

I think our stupidity will kill us very soon, I think this century is the most vital for us, there are two many ways that we might kill our self with, one is already in progress aka pollution and destroying ecosystems and earth natural resources, this can and does trigger new virus for examples, the other is due to greed we might get to another world war. While natural disasters that can wipe us can happen, llike superventions, asteroids/meteorites, a gamma ray burt hitting us, ect ect these are unlikely and their occurrence is pretty low, and most of those are avoidable and humanity can surive if it decides to go interplanetary before it happen, but again human stupidity is preventing us from doing so, it is preventing us from putting in place a plan to deter asteroids heading our way, it is preventing us from doing space exploration on Mars from example and aiming high.....

and did you die? sorry couldn't help my self ^^, better take it back and have a word and two with the market manager, you can probably sue them or at least make a declaration to health and safty deparetement depending on your country,I don't know much about fungus and how dangerous they can be

He hasn't replied yet, so you might be on to something

yeah it seems so Sad RIP OP
898  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to make a lot money online? on: April 23, 2014, 11:31:25 AM
So OP, what did you decide to do ? did you come up with a plan yet, I saw that you are on a signature campaign, good, but that's not making a lot of money right?
899  Other / Off-topic / Re: What RAID ARRAY are you running in? on: April 23, 2014, 11:26:49 AM
going raid 0 is pretty risky, trow an HDD in your setup and go with a raid 10 so you have alway a back when one of your SSDs fails
