Thanks for this topic.
lol! that's the attitude to take, soon you'll be sr.member as well Smiley to be more precise in exactly 365 and 2 hours if you keep posting at least a minimum of one post per 2 weeks
1022  Other / Off-topic / Re: POST COUNT 100 !!! on: April 19, 2014, 10:49:08 PM
Hard to beat someone who's been here for years without being here for years yourself. Smiley

It is not hard if the guy didn't post a lot Grin

Look at here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=mlist;sort=registered;start=0 half the members (5/10) that registered in 2009 are still newbies

hilariousandco registered November 20 2013 and posted 7357 so far!! 56posts/day in average!! I posted 18posts/day in average and I feel I am posting all the time
56 post per day in AVERAGE?
I could easily post 56 times a day, and sometimes I do, but EVERY DAY? Gee wiz.

that's some dedication, I can see my self reaching 56 post a day when the section is active and people are commenting, but doing it everyday that's another level of dedication
Oh yeah. I suppose people can post from their phones nowadays, I can't though. 56 posts per day from my computer, I can't imagine the headache, haha.

If you are involved in interesting conversations and you are sick in the hospital, making short posts it is doable but if you have a balanced life and you make long posts it is pretty unhealthy amha
Yep, there's probably not much else going on in terms of living if you've that huge amounts of time posting.

You'll beat him soon enough ! you are over 2K post in such short period of time Smiley
Well, I basically post a lot when I have a lot of free time, and during busier days I nearly don't post at all. You can see that there's a gap in my posting between the first of april and the 15th for example, and after the 15th it caught up. Smiley
My point is i'm not posting every day, but when I do, I post a lot. x)

It hapens to me as well, sometimes I miss some topics in a while, and I have a lot to catch up and reply to and sometimes it's technical stuff, with replies of 2k letters
1023  Other / Off-topic / Re: Activity Score on: April 19, 2014, 10:47:03 PM
yeah and you are close to full member yourself in less than a month you'll get there
1024  Other / Off-topic / Re: Answer the question above with a question. on: April 19, 2014, 10:45:39 PM
Yeah I think when they kick your smug friend in the nuts don't you agree ?
1025  Other / Off-topic / Re: bought my first computer in 4 years. What useful programs would you recommend? on: April 19, 2014, 10:44:54 PM
Microsoft Paint  Grin dont know alot but for videos VLC.

You don't need such thing, just install CCCP which is a codec pack and use your windows player no need for more plays on your PC btw isn't MS Paint stock on windows <.< ?
1026  Other / Off-topic / Re: POST COUNT 100 !!! on: April 19, 2014, 10:43:52 PM
why is there a contest?

No there isn't at all, just epeen I guess Cheesy, but it keeps thread and discussion active I'm starting to spend quite the amount of time on this section talking to people
1027  Other / Off-topic / Re: BTC *tank*ing - Pic related on: April 19, 2014, 10:42:16 PM
yeah that was clear from the start what I'm saying is that the dog can make a mistake

Oh. Somehow I don't think that's likely. Probably more likely to bruteforce one of Satoshi's privkeys. Tongue

Yeah can be done easly in 4 decades tho not right now lol

Pyramid chain quote is that a thing nowadays?
Do you think it should be?

No that's why I decided to kill it, didn't you notice that?
1030  Other / Off-topic / Re: bought my first computer in 4 years. What useful programs would you recommend? on: April 19, 2014, 10:38:32 PM
My only suggestion is to not load it with crapware and unecessary software, one or two internet browsers at most (firefox or Chrome IE9 and tor on a drive), 1 antivirus with firewall (even the windows security essentials is enough for this), 1 antimalware and privacy software(malawarebyte, hitmanPRO,Spybot search and destroy) your codecs I recommend CCCP, and your SQL PHP software, notepad++ Java and you should be set to go
1031  Other / Off-topic / Re: After some advice on: April 19, 2014, 10:33:31 PM
Right I'm going to have some spare cash not much only 300gbp and wanting some advice on the best ways to invest the money for short/mid term gain. I'm aiming to turn the 300 into 1000.

At the minute I'm thinking buy 300gbp worth of bitcoin and trade alts with half and hold the other half any profits from trading get stashed with the original half.

What do you guys think? Got any better ideas?

300 to 1000 in short term mid term, that's more than 300%  return (200%+ income) you want from your investment, the only I see you getting such return, is either by gambling, or you invest in some cryptocurrency at launch which becomes very profitable afterward, both are possible but for both the risk of losing everything is quite high, high risk high profits I guess
1032  Other / Off-topic / Re: Activity Score on: April 19, 2014, 10:30:06 PM
Restrictions are bloody annyoing for news i can tell you that.

they are annoying but I feel like they are necessary, some people try to abuse the system, some other spam wrong threads/sections , before learning about the forum ect (not generalizing of course but when it happens it's pretty annoying)
Yup. As soon as the restrictions no longer applies to oneself you realize how necessary they are.
Yeah, he'll understand quite soon Smiley getting to member is not that hard, or even to full member, the rest is just a matter of time
1033  Other / Off-topic / Re: ...after the two are caught NAKED in the back of his pickup truck. on: April 19, 2014, 10:28:51 PM
and as a Privite school I don't understand why they didn't keep this underwarp, instead of getting bad publicity about it weird
It's not the School's fault though, and it shouldn't get a bad reputation.
"And as a Private school" by the way, are you a Private school? Cheesy
not me the school is lol, no what I'm saying didn't they get caught with a school guard and not a police patrol? I don't recall correctly as it's been a while, but if it was a school guard then something doesn't right, also the guy said everything

1035  Other / Off-topic / Re: Toilet Simulator Oculus Rift on: April 19, 2014, 10:26:43 PM
Suddenly the world got a little bit weirder. Cheesy

I'm pretty sure that this is only the beginning and worst to come lol
Oh yes, this technology opens so many new doors for weird shit to happen.

Now imagine a whole VR Suite with feeling feed back that's some vr for you ^^  companies already use VR to simulate maintenance operation during product design for example (cars plaines, jet fighter) they simulate if the object can be repaires by a guy and if everything is accessible and those have feedback for example if you are blocked with object in VR the tool you hold on your hand IRL is blocked

Ok then, maybe this is a better link.
https://support.google.com/mail/answer/3141103?hl=sv

Ok that's more like it ^^, I guess they want to have a google wallet integration with email, not a bad idea when you have a strong ecosystem, but the security needs to be increased, Google has a head start on Facebook on this domain, I hear people wanting bitcoin on Amazon but if there is a company that would be interessted in the protocol, and open source it is google, why no one thinking about them
1037  Other / Off-topic / Re: Advice on starting a new life. on: April 19, 2014, 06:27:52 PM
15K is not enough to start a life somewhere else, I suggest you that you hold for now and start building and prepare your self, the 15k you have right now, should be partially invested in different business (sticking to only bitcoin is not a good thing) the other part is to get a job/ part time job to have a solid income to help sustain yourself without touching your investiment, from there you can start planing, there are many places you can go two once you have a solid amount of cash,  Asia Africa or australia are good choices, for Asia, I suggest south asia countries with not very high living cost like philipines for example, in Africa, Morocco and Tunisia are good places, and some francophone subsaharian countries like Ivory Coast or Senegal.

Once you have enough money to own a house, and to make a small business such as a café or a shop and enough money sustain your self for a year or two then you can think of moving, also check out the opportunities for a job ect

isn't time equal money?
1040  Other / Off-topic / Re: Malaysia Airlines Flight 370. WTF? on: April 19, 2014, 06:13:57 PM
This is really funny. Australia and Malaysia has reached a deal on who should have the custody of the black box, once it is recovered. Why a deal even before recovering the black box?

not only that, but contradicting news are coming from each side and from the chinese as well, it's hard to follow and understand what's going on anymore
