163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling mistake repeated by the gamblers on: March 29, 2024, 04:45:25 PM
Been overconfidence is one of the trending misconducts dealing with some gamblers in gambling because they will never get satisfied with little and instead, wants for more and more, but everyone of us gambling cannot be the same and be winning at the same time, where do we want them to source for the money to pay us for winning, we are only gambling for been entertained, some are too greedy and they also express overconfidence in gambling to the extent that they barely win.
164  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / Re: What did you consider the worst advice you received from your parents as a child on: March 29, 2024, 04:18:47 PM
Just as you have assumed, one was then a child and don't really knows what is best for him, we are just only moved by what we see without having a deeper thought about any possible danger ahead in whatever thing we do, its a good thing to listen to what our parents are saying to us because they are more experienced that we do, we have our own right as well in making the decision on things we want, but not in all aspects we may have to depend on ourself for final judgement, what the parent does is verify important in ones life in becoming whom he should be.
165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 🔥 Bitcoin Buy and Hold 👑 on: March 29, 2024, 03:45:14 PM
Do any of you remember five months ago I started trading with just $100 and today I own $1130 and I respect Bitcoin a lot

Bitcoin is profitable if we can invest in it, someone can be as well profitable with holding it if the market surges, one cannot trade unless he understand how to do such, there is risk involved with trading, but any trader that has learnt how to play and trade safe will not loose much on trades and with time he is going to have increasing asset over his trading fund with bitcoin.

We never get addicted to anything and try to do whatever we do with our talent then we will get success in no time.

Addiction in trading will result to being an expertise in it, unlike other addictions that are not profitable on us.
166  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what percentage can a post be described as AI generated? on: March 29, 2024, 01:15:39 PM
We have some AI detector apps and links just like the frequently used ones like, scribbr, copyleaks, and quillbot. Sometimes, after making some personal posts that you generated on your own and you insert those write up in this AI detector links you will find out that it will indicate some percentages that they are AI generated like between 35% to 15% so does it mean that the percentage is convincible enough to render your entire posts AI generated?

If you make a constructive post on your own self, it will not reflect the use of AI in making composition to your post content, you can just do that for the post you made and compare the rate or percentage for AI, i see it that anything below 20% should be regarded as not AI content, moreover, most of the AI posts are nothing than copied posts from the internet, they are using the AI bot in other to make it appears as not complete plagiarism and for them not to get banned, but its totally plagiarism because they copy such and put no reference link.
167  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Supposed held binance representative excuse custom custody on: March 27, 2024, 10:13:29 AM
Although I won't lie because this is actually quite funny for me when I saw this new about the binance representative that were official announced held or should I say detained escape from the government officials claiming they have possession of these personalities in their custody.

At first I don't really know what to think but I thought I should share so we all can give our opinion on this and how the government is really taking this fight against crypto exchange in the country to the next level

Please share your thoughts binance reps don twama😁😁

Who is playing who here, do they think we are uncivilized or can be brainwashed just like that, as they have earlier reported on how a snake swallow huge amount of money and that ends the case, are they telling us that the government is not secured enough to handle someone under a case and the securities are that weak and vulnerable, we will keep to the continuation of this story because its getting more interested as we anticipate for more updates regarding the second person left, maybe he couldn't afford to pay the bill charged against him for bribery.
168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do the juice Worth the squeeze? on: March 27, 2024, 09:34:06 AM
And for anyone who is treating gambling as his major source of income will always be lacking behind because gambling takes money away from a gambler than it gives in money to the gamblers pocket, since we all understand that this is only means of having fun and being entertained, there have been so many who have wrongly interpreted what this gambling form of entertainment serves, instead they are taking it for something else.
169  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is age a limitation in Bitcoin on: March 27, 2024, 09:06:17 AM
Hi there to all of you. One of the most amazing things I've noticed about Bitcoin is that it doesn't have an age requirement before using it or creating a wallet. In traditional banking, however, one must be 16 or older to open an account, unless they have assistance from a guide who helped them do so. Additionally, no matter how young you are, no one can question you about how you make money because no one keeps an eye on your wallet.

Anything that is decentralized should be expected to work in such manner without any use of KYC, we give our personal information's because we make us of centralized commercial and financial institutions, but having the understanding of bitcoin network being decentralized, having it wallet is free and you don't need the permission from any regulatory bodies to create bitcoin wallet or maintain its uses by paying a fee, same way there is no age requirement in using the wallet or bitcoin.

171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dana thought he lost $80k one night and his advice for gamblers on: March 26, 2024, 03:53:11 PM

Just want to share.

https://youtu.be/k7aQEqDbuf8?t=4429
He was interviewed on Lex Fridman's channel just today. Funny how he thought it was just $80K but it's actually $3M. Rich men lose more when they get drunk playing blackjack.

He advises about winning and losing in gambling and if you get depressed because of it, gambling is not for you. He meant winning and losing are part of the game where great things and bad things happen.

Excessive intake of alcohol is bad, and it can make us misbehave and take decisions that can become a problem in our lives tomorrow. This is why you don't need to take more than your limit. Gambling and alcohol are two vices that can destroy someone due to addiction. Imagine a person that is addicted to alcohol and gambling, he would run at great loss unknown to him, if he gambles when he is drunk, compared to when he is not drunk. This is because whatever he is doing then is unknown to him.

Dana is a gambler that is used to winning and losing, and he is rich so he does not care about if he losses heavily in gambling, because he knows how to recover back the funds through different channels. Don't gamble when you are drunk, because it is unethical.

Alcohol addiction has caused a lot of gamblers huge lost in their asset because many have made some mistakes that led to the forfeiture of their digital asset because of being drunk while exposing their private information's, some gambles with the entire money they have in which they wouldn't have done so if they were in their normal sense, we have to be very careful of the acts we will be playing in which will have a future negative repercussion on us as such with gambling under influence of alcohol.
172  Economy / Speculation / Re: My instincts on the value of bitcoin from now to halving on: March 26, 2024, 01:34:36 PM
Bitcoin remain a misery to many because of the nature of how its been unpredictable, even those that think they are manipulating aren't always right about it, we can not give the precise direction on which the market is going, but through our various speculations, we can arrived on a conclusion of the market season we are into, bitcoin will always remain a valuable investment to us and we cannot afford missing out on any of these opportunity in each of its season.
173  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nobody know tomorrow (Entrust your account to someone else). on: March 26, 2024, 12:30:03 PM
We need to make adequate preparation on the next of kin to us, this can be someone very close and dearly to us like our children, wife or siblings, we should be careful as well in making plans on this because we cant tell if sooner or later it may come, but when we already have prepared down for the unexpected, if the worse should come, it will never be a tragic loss upon the asset we have with us.

175  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin halving, how low the price can be? on: March 26, 2024, 09:43:12 AM
Next month will be Bitcoin halving, how far can the price go down? or how high can the price go up?

As you know we are already in the bullrun season for bitcoin, we cannot be precise on how or when the market price go go high or low, but have this as a constant expectation with the market that we may not go as low as $50,000 and expect as high as $150,000 between now and next year after which we had the halving next month, if you invested, you will definitely experience the bull run coming further with new all time highs and be profitable in your bitcoin investments.
176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't make your bets when you're tired on: March 25, 2024, 04:42:33 PM
We are also expected not to bet each time we feels like there's not going to be fun in our bet due to some certain conditions that may surrounds our gambling affairs at that particular moment, being tired could refer to someone in need of rest after having a busy day, we couldn't at that moment enjoy the way we gamble or how we gambles, we need to set a proper timing to when we are going to be gambling in other to have full and active participation in it.
177  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC dip again? on: March 25, 2024, 09:09:07 AM
What do you think will happens if the market dips again, we are not to be afraid because bitcoin is not such that should be treated in such regards as we do with alts, the market will always rises whenever it falls, but if we are not going to miss out on this, then we must be able to wait and hold while the waiting is awaiting to be pumped back again, but when we invest on alts, we are likely to be more overwhelmed by uncertainties.
178  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / Re: Will the Prices of Cooking Gas Ever come down in Nigeria on: March 25, 2024, 08:38:10 AM
The rising price of cooking Gas in Nigeria has affected Nigerians Even as many Nigeria homes are now resulting in alternative fuel source. FG have taken various steps to reduce the high cost of cooking gas in Nigeria, it is also important to Note that since cooking gas is imported using The United States Dollars,Same will continue to increase if the Nigeria Naira continue to devalue.

Before going to far in thinking on the possibilities on seeing the price of the cooking gas come down, why not we begin with seeing the economy get balanced and other things that could cause the rise of the commodity items in the rise to rise have been dealt with such as petrol price, cement, rice and minimum wage increase, when these had been solved, the general market will go down and deflates, then government have to set out its agencies on the control of price to ensure nothing is being inflated by the people.
179  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you think merit is by chance or lengthy article? on: March 25, 2024, 08:06:04 AM
Merit is not by chance or how lengthy your article is, to my best of knowledge, the more the article content of what you're posting is the more its getting complicated for others to read and understand the major idea in your post, so merit is giving by the level of the quality of your post, which is felt by the reader and he make the judgement that your post is deserving to receive merit provided that he has some smerits to give out, be it a merit source or other members of the forum.
180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Global wealth preservation" on: March 25, 2024, 07:27:03 AM
In what ways do the historical narratives and cultural perceptions surrounding gold as a traditional store of value intersect with the emerging narrative and evolving cultural perception of Bitcoin as a digital store of value, and how might these intersections shape the future landscape of global wealth preservation?

Thank you for sharing your insights and perspectives!

Maybe we have to go less of being grammatic here and head up straight to the difference in what gold have from the use of bitcoin, by checking this alone on the internet you can have some answers to the question asked, also, we have already seen this been discussed over time, make use of the forum search button in case of next time.

Bitcoin is a digital decentralized currency, a means of payments and also a unit of store of value, a profitable investment and a decentralized asset, while gold is only a physical and tradition centralized asset, gold is scarce while bitcoin is not, gold appears in abundance supply yet not circulating while bitcoin has a limited supply, increasing in value and remain in circulation for use.
