Also there's an HTML formatting error in the wallet. Nothing that affects functionality or security, just something
that I noticed.

Under DarkSend where it says Amounts and Rounds, the value of it reads ~500/span> / 2 rounds so there's a broken
closing SPAN tag in there somewhere Smiley

See yellow arrow in the screen grab below:

Hey OP - what's the minimum stake age on SYNX?
163  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: A Theory Regarding HYIPs on: July 09, 2016, 02:55:02 PM
Yeah yeah,and old topic actually.
You wont make money out of hyip it is almost impossible.
Maybe depositing into those who dont have any fees for depo/wd and putting money there for 1-2 days, thats all

I'm not advocating HYIPs. I've learned my lesson on that one Smiley Just saying that maybe that's how they build
up their initial facade of legitimacy.
164  Economy / Investor-based games / A Theory Regarding HYIPs on: July 09, 2016, 02:09:15 PM
When I decided to try out a bitcoin HYIP (that turned out to be a scam, of course), I did my initial research and saw
plenty of comments on various HYIP 'monitoring' sites that they were, indeed, paying out. After it became apparent
that I was not going to receive my withdrawal, I went back and looked at those positive comments and I realized
something...

In ALL cases, the positive reviews were generally coming from a staff member of the website itself after making a
test investment to verify the legitimacy of the HYIP before listing it.

So this particular HYIP (and probably others as well) does pay out to the HYIP monitoring site owners in order to be
listed and have initial positive reviews. After that they don't care.
165  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: How can I know those HYIP site are paying? on: July 09, 2016, 02:03:26 PM
Save your bitcoin and just assume that they won't. I had a recent encounter with one (BTC Trust [dot] biz). I made the
minimum investment and when I tried to withdraw my profits 24 hours later, I was told that I would need to deposit an
additional $150 in order to 'activate' withdrawals. Mind you, they never mention this requirement anywhere on the site.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [IOC][ I/O Digital ] I/O Coin - Blockchain Ecosystem - DIONS - CHAMELEON on: July 09, 2016, 01:46:42 PM
Hey OP - are there any IOC bounties currently available? If so, PM me the details and I'll post it on my site and
send out a couple of Twitter blasts.

Here is the info I need:

1. Altcoin name and ticker symbol
2. Details of your bounty offers (what folks need to do, how much they'll get, etc...)
3. Wallet download links
4. An image of your coin or similar to go with the post (500 x 500 is a good size)
5. How long the bounty is good for (in other words, when will the bounty offer close?)

Cheers!

Cynthia

170  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Unbiased Review of BTC Trust HYIP on: July 08, 2016, 05:28:09 PM
So why did you even try?
I know so many people getting annoyed or angry because some hyip turned out to be a complete scam, why do you even bother this?
i havent found at least 1 good thread where we can find a reliable investing-based game or something like that, everyting are lies.

I explained why. I figured that if I actually went so far as to risk my own money, if I ended up getting screwed over, it would
server as a stronger warning than just saying "oh this is a scam" with no proof of my own to back it up.
171  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Genesis-Mining Review on: July 08, 2016, 05:03:57 PM
I bought 350 GHs of SHA256 and 5 MHs of X11 last week. Not a huge investment, so if I don't eventually reach ROI, it won't
be a huge loss. If I *do*, it will be a pleasant surprise.
172  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Unbiased Review of BTC Trust HYIP on: July 08, 2016, 04:54:35 PM
I get your hatred for HYIPs. I get why you think they are scams.
I don't *think* they are scams, they ARE scams. Every. Single. One.

well hello cryptodevil we meet again Smiley but this time i agree with you. HYIPs no matter they pay or not they are scams, no proper documents (all are fakes) the investment packages and roi are ridiculous and more reasons why HYIPs are scam obviously they are.

and for you OP

its the likes of you who kept others from believing on these type of programs and the likes of you who many fell from it. Stop and pls again STOP promoting it here, promote it on other forums like talkgold.com not here bitcoin should not be tainted by these scams so pls STOP

I'm not promoting it. The review has no referral links in it. In fact, there are no links of any kind to the HYIP website in
the review anymore.

Did you actually read the review or did you just assume that I was promoting it because cryptodevil and I got into it?

omg do i look stupid? i mean seriously? you mentioned the scam site and you are supporting the unbiased (crossfinger) review... tell me aint you promoting it?

Let's recap:

1. The review is merely my own experience with the site (which was NEGATIVE, by the way and I clearly documented that fact)
2. There are NO links to their site at all in the review
3. I flat out say that I don't recommend investing with them
4. I outright say that they are a scam

If documenting a negative experience about a company, not linking to them, and not recommending them is promoting
them, then damn..I guess I've been doing my job wrong these last 20 years.
173  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Unbiased Review of BTC Trust HYIP on: July 08, 2016, 04:06:49 PM
I concede. I *can* see how even though I am posting about my negative experience with this particular HYIP, even having
an HYIP section lends legitimacy to those types of sites.

So...

I have removed that section from the site and moved the review into the Scam Graveyard where it belongs.

Fair enough?

I get your hatred for HYIPs. I get why you think they are scams.
I don't *think* they are scams, they ARE scams. Every. Single. One.

I will not remove the HYIP section from my site as I think the reviews are valuable as they document an actual investor's (me) experience.
Damn, we're so close to resolving this amicably, too.

Mistake 1 - You refer to your HYIP section as having value, as though there *might* be one which you, and also your reader, *might* be able to profit from them. So you post of one which dicks you around and pulls the usual, "send more money to us so you can withdraw yours" bullshit move. Which means your HYIP section will need another scam to review as being *possibly* an operation you could 'profit' with, yes?

Mistake 2 - In continuing to add to your HYIP section you imply that there may be a rainbow-unicorn HYIP out there which you might be able to withdraw more than you put in, yes?

Mistake 3 - Whether you do find this rainbow-unicorn HYIP or not, the damage is already done, namely, your readership is given the impression that HYIPs could be worth considering as a 'high risk' gamble, yes?

All of this done without ever mentioning the fact that if you were to walk away from a HYIP with more money than you put in, the profit you made didn't come from legitimate business operation/trading, it was just taken from some other poor sod's deposit. Perhaps even the deposit made by someone who chose to participate in it after reading about HYIPs from your website, even.

Go on, do the right thing and either pull your HYIP section entirely or simply mark it as being the participation in an ongoing theft and, therefore, supporting such is wrong and only helps the operators of the scam survive longer before its inevitable collapse.

You misunderstand my intent when I say "value". I don't mean monetary value. It's one thing for someone to scream 'scam'. It's another for
someone to risk their own money and document the experience. That's all. If someone does a search for '[insert hyip name] review' online,
maybe my review will come up. Maybe that person will read that review and think "Ok this person isn't just running around saying that this
is a scam. She actually put her money where her mouth is" and MAYBE the fact that I've documented my loss will carry some weight.

I'm not saying that "stay away - this is a scam!" alerts aren't valuable. They are. But when they are accompanied by real proof, by a real
person who invested real money, it becomes even more so.

And yes, BTC Trust will also be listed in the scam section on the site later today.
176  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Unbiased Review of BTC Trust HYIP on: July 08, 2016, 02:50:42 PM
Also, while we're on the subject of honesty. You might want to modify your negative review of me to actually be ACCURATE.

Contrary to your claims, I have not profited one whit from that referral link - not one single satoshi.

A screenshot of my egregious referral earnings:

I won't ask you to remove the negative review because I know you won't. I do ask that you at least tell the truth.

Whether you are yet to profit is utterly irrelevant. Please read again the reasoning why your willing participation in these scams is particularly egregious and perhaps you might reconsider the knee-jerkery you are currently displaying and, upon doing so, admit that hosting articles on 'investing' in HYIPs is tantamount to supporting scams and encouraging people to participate in them.

Your last sentence, by the way, is evidence that you are not actually paying proper attention to my posts seeing as I have already explained what steps you could take which would result in the removal of that rating. I nearly always remove negative ratings from people who, upon reflection, understand the nature of their actions, how it affects other people, particularly newbies to this industry and who choose to erase the previously posted support for a ponzi scam.

I'm not a totally unreasonable asshole.

You are neither unreasonable nor an asshole. I get your hatred for HYIPs. I get why you think they are scams. I will not
remove the HYIP section from my site as I think the reviews are valuable as they document an actual investor's (me)
experience. However, I do agree that including the referral links does smack of a lack of bias so they have been removed.

I have also modified the intro paragraph on the main HYIP to be more cautionary and less "here's how you profit from it".

ORLY? You missed one in your hurry to try and prove me wrong after I raised the issue.

I missed nothing. There is no ref link in that artlcle anymore.

Are you dumb or just lying? Don't worry, it's a rhetorical question, I already know the answer.

Quote
I’ve been seeing ads for BTCTrust pop up
hxxps://www.btctrust.biz/?ref=bitcoinmafia

If you want that negative rating removed then don't post misleading threads here claiming to be offering 'unbiased' reviews and, secondly, don't have a 'HYIP review' section on your website unless it basically states that all HYIPs are obviously scams because otherwise they'd be selling stock on Wall St instead of advertising on sketchy cryptocurrency sites for 'investors'.

As I said, when I am wrong, I admit it. I did overlook that link in the first paragraph and have removed it.

How is my review not unbiased? Am I recommending them? Am I lying and saying that they pay out like gangbusters
and that I am making mad profits? Am I soliciting funds to invest? No.

No matter how much folks scream to the rafters that HYIPs are scams, there are still people who want to hope for the
best. So if I want to put a little bit of my own money on the line to provide an honest accounting of what happens, why
is it any skin off your nose?

I missed nothing. There is no ref link in that artlcle anymore. Apparently I was updating the review while
you were having your "Ah ha! I gotcha!" moment.

I don't know you and you don't know me but I'm not exactly new around here. I have never knowingly pointed
folks toward a scam and when I have been wrong (as in this case with BTC Trust) I have owned up to it.
180  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Unbiased Review of BTC Trust HYIP on: July 08, 2016, 02:01:23 PM
I recently decided to see for myself if BTC Trust was even remotely legit or not

Oh fuck off with that bullshit claim of 'if', you know damn well ANY operation supposedly offering the kind of returns they advertise is a scam.

So, considering your 'unbiased' review contains your referral link to this scam (which immediately implies bias) I'm going to assume that you fully intend to pique the interest of other people enough for them to also consider sending a 'small amount' in, you know, just to test it, right? After all, maybe they'll be able to withdraw some of that amazing 600% profit, right? Or maybe they, too, will think it worth conning other people to use their reflink as well?

Are you going to remove your reflinks from that article?

You may want to refresh the review page before making snide insinuations...
