So is falllllling right or not? Tongue Has he made any bets yet? It gets irritating to see such attention whore actually being paid attention to.

Speaking of conspiracies, here's some funny vid I discovered yesterday:

Yeah, buy off exchange, sell into exchanges. Repeat. Weak hands get shaken out as fuck. Banksters win. Only remedy is to hold. The more they dump for the sake of manipulation the bigger the next bubble will be.
1624  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is actually bullish on: August 18, 2014, 03:08:22 PM
I like it. Rich get richer, weak hands lose everything. Before the last bubble it dropped down to 60$ and the ATH turned out to be 1200$. Even if we drop down to 333$ then a comparable next bubble would ATH at 6666$ and BTW a drop down to 333$ would be proportionally equal to the pirate40's default in August 2012. Everything is normal  Cool

comparing the two situation on a 1:1 scale isn't really realistic, rising to 6666 form 333 is unreal, not gonna happen imho

Might take a longer time, which implies it won't be a 1:1 scale....

Why do you bother saying things that everyone already knows? That's why I used the wording comparable next bubble in the first place. To stop people from stating the obvious. If the price dropped 33% back in August 2012 and it has not yet dropped 33% since the last mid-term stability then all I wanted to point out is the fact that this ain't as bad as it was back then. You're seeing a speculation in places where you should see an emotional comparison instead. Yet, if I had to explain then my original statement was probably too implicit.

I've always wondered how can manipulation be profitable when they are just making it cheaper for people to buy in.
1627  Economy / Speculation / Re: Ethereum KILLING BITCOIN! on: August 18, 2014, 11:14:12 AM
LOL Ethereum will die because of this : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563925.0

Only idiots who invested donated into Ethereum are being bearish about bitcoin. They're hoping to hype up Ether so they can dump it.

It is just another worthless coin in the making. I doubt anyone will be brave enough to put money into altcoin again.

Altcoins come and go, but there always seem to be investors in altcoins.

because there are always people who feel butthurt for missing the boat and want to compensate Cheesy I tell you altcoins are the HYIPs (ponzis) of this decade. Getting rich ain't simple I tell you h'wat. There are traps everywhere. Back then when I was 16 years old I invested into FastMarket and SolidInvestment HYIPs all my pocket money. I used e-gold as a transfer of value. Of course they were scams Cheesy but I was too inexperienced to know. I think the question is whether failing makes you stop messing around with something forever or not. My friend told me once that he invested money into IsraCoin and he was excited about it. I never asked how much he invested and he hasn't talked to me ever since. No pain no gain, good old truth Cheesy

A couple of years ago local newspapers warned about http://emgoldex.com/
I was sure it is a classic scam but now that I see the website is still online it makes me wonder whether they really are legit.

good point. in fact, that's how all altcoins should be distributed. altcoins that don't use this way of distribution are competing with bitcoin while altcoins that use such distribution cooperate with bitcoin. Ethereum is doomed for that reason.
1629  Economy / Speculation / Re: Alex Jones finally endorses Bitcoin!!! on: August 17, 2014, 10:27:15 AM
When talking to the uneducated minds, use more emotion and stronger language to make yourself clear and gain authority. Most people aren't cryptologists you know, but they will understand it if someone says that Bitcoin is good and Dollar is bad while roaring, spitting and blushing.

Slightly derogatory but good advice. This is the exact reason why you never see politicians getting elected by appealing to the rational mind with intelligent arguments. Politics is being played out on the emotional-territorial level of me, mine, you, yours, top, down.

Reminds me of this Family Guy episode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0YOh-rpvjYg
1630  Economy / Speculation / Re: Alex Jones finally endorses Bitcoin!!! on: August 17, 2014, 10:02:53 AM
How is this HUGE exactly? It's just some crackpot, not Obama.

Did you know that huge is a relative term? What is more, it's also a subjective term. If this topic or anything that I have indicated here somehow upsets you then it's your description of the world to blame. Seek for the reason of your irritation from within yourself. Something that has well established its presence and is a part of you is trying to defend its stance.
1631  Economy / Speculation / Re: Alex Jones finally endorses Bitcoin!!! on: August 16, 2014, 06:16:19 PM
Sorry providing false information is to lead the gullible in the wrong direction.

No apologies needed. The question is --- how the hell will the reptilians profit from the FUD Alex Jones spreads about economic collapse and police brutality? All it does is undermining the USA government. If their goal is to provoke the American people to riots and maybe even revolution then I would understand but how could they profit from a revolution? Of course there are these FEMA camps already waiting for the people so my theory could be plausible but the motive is still unclear to me.

It's weird though that he is mostly ranting and raving about economy while there are NASA and Hollow Earth secrets that should also be revealed and paid attention to.

I must know more about NASA and Hollow Earth secrets.

When you are working for the government propaganda machine, you have no room to change. To change, you have to disappear and not shill for them endlessly.

I urge you not to be immediately dismissive. Even 4+ years of posts in this very BTC Talk forum still hold tremendous research value. They are not irrelevant because they are old or it is a forum. Cluesforum itself is all about teaching you not to take what everything you read in media, watch on TV, hear on malificious government run alternative radios without a lot of skepticism first. It takes a long time to assimilate information from there (depending on how much brainwashing one has gone through watching TV or by the media in general), but you are all the better for it.

This isn't about just BTC. See if it helps you open new doors of information, one that helps you make better decisions not just financially(BTC ot otherwise) but in an overall multifacted way.

So if Alex Jones for example is a double agent and what not, it doesn't change the fact that what he is talking about is plausible. And even if from time to time he is spreading false information, it makes you think in the right direction. Of course one should seek for their own truth but by watching random AJ's videos I'd say he is talking truth. It's weird though that he is mostly ranting and raving about economy while there are NASA and Hollow Earth secrets that should also be revealed and paid attention to.
1634  Economy / Speculation / Re: Alex Jones finally endorses Bitcoin!!! on: August 16, 2014, 05:14:34 PM
Alex Jones is not the reason why it is crashing, but confirms that at least at some point this was all intended to be controlled by tptb. Julian Assange/Wikileaks etc is all a farcical comedy. Read the 18 page thread completely to understand, especially simonshack's posts http://www.cluesforum.info/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=486

Alex Jones and other truther nuts are nothing but gatekeepers and act on behalf of the government in order to lead the inquisitive to their "gates" of confusion where you are supposed to be happy revelling about having freedoms and unearth government "conspiracies". Their whole point is to shield and withhold the real information about how tptb go about executing covert/psy ops which is mostly through media manipulation and TV fakery.

Would be a pretty big deal to find out one day about Satoshi's origins, and may he have bailed out when farce got involved with BTC, but that the tptb want the gullible and sheeple to now adopt BTC is without a question the motive. Most people don't even know about Alex Jones and those who do have long been blind sighted by the snake oil nut theories he endorses to tickle the conspiracy fancy of an average Joe and take them down the misleading path to confuse them even more.

Alex Jones is a lying media shill, a sockpuppet of the government and a disinformation agent. If you are a BTC fan, this is not a good sign, sorry.

I don't think Alex Jones has a lot of followers but nice news.

850,085 subscribers
412,333,958 views

but then again, I don't know the definition of a lot in this context.
1636  Economy / Speculation / Re: Alex Jones finally endorses Bitcoin!!! on: August 16, 2014, 04:34:45 PM
So that's why it is crashing.

lol.

anyway, as I said earlier, we need dumb people to like Bitcoin too and Alex is doing a great job spreading the word. Dumb people understand slightly different language. Just because you are pretty intelligent to see how comical this Alex Jones figure really is does not change the fact that there are people who actually listen to him. It's about time for Bitcoin to stop being a nerds' currency. When talking to the uneducated minds, use more emotion and stronger language to make yourself clear and gain authority. Most people aren't cryptologists you know, but they will understand it if someone says that Bitcoin is good and Dollar is bad while roaring, spitting and blushing.

While this is good news, a known Libertarian conspiracy theorist factist getting onboard with bitcoin is not exactly what I'd consider "shocking" or huge.

Tell me Buffett or Krugman are endorsing bitcoin though, and I'll start thinking we've won the war.   Grin

What if they are laundering the coins? They will buy back later and make the coins untraceable. Everyone knows that an exchange could easily be used for tumbling. It's easier for them to disappear then because using a dedicated tumbler for such a large amount of coins cannot be easy.
