1621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I gave investment advice to my grandfather. on: March 06, 2023, 05:25:05 PM
maybe he experienced investing but to the extend of being a total investors that can risk or trust bitcoin that much , and the way i see it? he is an altcoin supporter more than bitcoin.
but giving this advise to his grandfa seems to be over thinking , he should let his old man learn the market first at least read here in forum and make research than just investing right away without complete knowledge , though this is safe to invest yet the time frame sometimes hinder people to make money.
I do agree that when you are going to make a substantial investment then it is better to let your investment speak for itself and you should be researching it well enough that you would know what you are putting your money into.

If you need to ask your grandchildren about investment advice, then you are not investing into something that you should, it would be a risky investment for sure. I would say only invest into things that you yourself personally can understand. I know that it is going to take a bit of a time for a grandfather to understand what crypto is all about, it is going to be hard to get down to that young age understanding, but if they can, that is when it would be valuable.

That's like gambling, how can you bet to a specific team and specific sport if you don't have that first-hand knowledge to know who got more chance in winning, I know that sometimes odds are tempting but that doesn't mean that they got more chances as there are also favorites by people and bookies. The same with investment, it is much better to know the field first before investing into it and I won't really advice that you will place your fate into somebody else's hand.
1622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: March 05, 2023, 12:27:24 PM

If Donaire can't keep up with Santiago, he won't surely can't keep up to the lower division and better just retire.

I totally agree with you. Donaire is now in the right division, and Inoue is giving them a chance to be a champ, so it's a good opportunity for Donaire to win again. He was once a champion in this division; it's just that Inoue took that from him. Now that Inoue is gone, it's time for him to come back.

Changing divisions is usually only good for young boxers. Donaire is not young; he is already old.

At 40 years old, his body will be having difficulty in coping up with the weight changes for sure.
1623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 05, 2023, 12:03:43 PM
Tomorrow, we have some early games. The first game is an exciting one, as it's the rivalry between Phoenix and Dallas, but both teams have added a superstar. It's Booker vs Luka, and former teammates Irving and Durant will be playing against each other.

I'm kind of confused why Dallas is only -1. I guess Phoenix is the better team.
1624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: March 05, 2023, 10:48:38 AM

On first game, I think the Bolts will get this one so I'd rather bet on spread or total rather than the winner. On the 2nd game, I think the odds of Ginebra winning is still attractive at least for me. I will bet on them this time.

It always looks good on paper, but you'll never know what will happen. Just like what happened with DYIP vs Magnolia, we thought that Magnolia would easily dominate DYIP, but it turned out to be a tight game. Magnolia almost lost, but they were lucky to bring the game to OT, and they had to play hard to win.

Well, you are right, because it turns out this game is tight. Phoenix actually won the first half, so let's see if they will be able to bounce back. By the way, the scoring of Meralco might be affected, as Allen Maliksi is out in this game. I haven't heard the reason, but most likely, it's a coaching staff decision or suspension by the management.

4th quarter now, under 6 minutes and the lead of Meralco is double digits they managed to turn things to their side, it's Phoenix time now to try rallying back and see if they can still change the direction of this game, we still don't know if who's going to win as PBA always have a surprise.

Still enough time to make some good run and cut the lead, just need to make a good stop.

It was a nice run, but they fell short. The fourth quarter was full of defense, and the game ended up with only 178 points, which was lower than the original over/under of over 200+. Meralco's defense was the key to their win. Despite their import being fouled out, they were still able to manage to defend and win the game. That's the Meralco I know.
1625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 05, 2023, 08:12:29 AM
Couple of upsets tonight:

Bucks losing to Philly, ending their winning streak. Joel Embiid put a sensational defense on Giannis in the fourth quarter and then together with Harden, outscored them in the final quarter, 48-31.
The Bucks were only -5. They are favored, but Philly is such a good team that the game could go either way. It's time for Philly to bounce back, and for the Bucks, I'm sure they can start their win streak again. However, it's important to see some reality check that the Bucks are not indispensable.

Sacramento losing to the Wolves - very close game between the two, but Anthony Edwards and former Utah Mike Conley seal the win for them Wolves.
I can see that the main reason here is the fatigue factor. They have been playing lots of games in the past few days, and their bodies have probably given up already. I believe that the majority of the bettors are still betting on them for this game, so the smart money goes to the Wolves.

1627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Figueroa vs Magsayo WBC Interim Featherweight Title (March 4) on: March 04, 2023, 01:30:25 PM
I think it's just normal though for this boxers to look skinny and thin and dehydrated because of the weight class that they are in?

And of course, they have 24 hours to get back all the weight, (all fluid) and be ready for tomorrow's night fight. Maybe gain 5 lbs or more, eat healthy foods to gain the muscle and then go all in for this very important fight for this two fighters.

I guess recovery is the best thing to happen for a boxer after draining their body to qualify for the weigh in. Get enough rest and get a good food before the fight, their body is gonna have a great energy in the next day.
I'm always curious about the fighter's lifestyle, coz they're punishing their body excessively and avoid unhealthy but delicious foods as a preparation for an upcoming fight. Maybe after the fight, some fighters will get a little bit out of shape, but still manage to get back again when they get another schedule. That's something I admire about their self discipline.

Boxing is one of the difficult sports because you have to deal with the weight, that is why those who are not active for a long time need more time to fully conditioned their body, top calibers boxers hire body conditioning and nutritionist to keep the mind and body in almost perfect condition before and after the fight, the corners and the conditioning team are very important for a boxer's success because boxing is a multi-million dollar profession they need to hire these people for peak performance.

Every boxer needs support, but that also depends on their budget. It's good if they are working with a great promoter, as they might be able to help provide everything they need. Yes, it's a multi-million dollar profession, but you will only feel that if you are already a successful boxer. Mayweather is a good example. He amassed his fortune in boxing, earning over a hundred million dollars as an active boxer. Now that he has retired and focused on his promotion, he is still making a lot of money.
1628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: March 04, 2023, 01:03:37 PM
Meanwhile, in the second game, which we are currently witnessing, it looks like we might witness a huge upset as Terraferma DYIP already have a double-digit lead with less than 3 minutes remaining in the 4th quarter.

The game has gone into overtime due to the great pressure defense shown by Magnolia. Despite DYIP's good lead, Magnolia was still able to come back with their excellent defense. Now that we are in overtime, I expect that Magnolia will not allow DYIP to pose any more problems and will surely win this game.
1629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: March 03, 2023, 09:59:59 PM
In boxing, there are casual trash talks that are common. However, Thurman made an effort for his trashtalks to become personal. In order to distract Pacquiao, he attempted to get under his skin but failed deliberately.

Errol Spence will force Keith Thurman to kiss the canvas. Thurman was down by the body punch of Pacquiao and Spence is more well known for working on the bodies of his opponents. By TKO, Thurman will lose.

They have their own strategy, and I believe what Thurman did to Pacman, which is trash-talking, is not to distract him but to gain the attention of the fans and market their upcoming fight. Pacman will not be affected by any trash talk, as he has been in boxing for more than a decade already, so it's not new to him.

I guess it's both because I also remember that Thurman somehow underestimated Pacquiao and thought that a trashtalk will somehow give some troubles to the latter but it didn't worked as Thurman was the one who kissed the canvass in the early rounds of their fight whereas he was the one who had the ultimate motive to do the same.

Back on the fight, I know that Thurman is thirsty and hungry to get a title and be a champion once again but this journey won't be that easy because Spence got a strong body punch that could probably also crack Thurman in the early rounds. He should watch out for that though as it's expected that Spence won't go easy on him as this is a bit personal for him because of what happened few years back.
Thurman was barking at the wrong person. Additionally, Pacquiao, who does not speak English fluently, was only laughing because of the language barrier. Adrien Broner just laughed maybe because of the language barrier too. Broner thought Pacquiao would laugh at his trash talks instead of benefit from them.

I and MiliMil have the same opinion about this match. Errol Spence has a straightforward victory here. The corner of Thurman will stop it or the referee will. But I do not think it is true that Thurman avoided Spence for a long time. Thurman clearly desired the well-known names. The target was Mayweather and the other champions.
It seems that Thurman's way of destruction of his opponent did not work on manny pacman pacquiao cause we can see that thurman feel the pain when pacaman going to hit him.
A silence fighters are very dangerous inside the ring and most of them are good in offense like pacman, inoue, magsayo and many more silence fighters who release thier anger inside the ring and not on way of trash talk. And also bronerthe same as thurman.

If not with that early knock down for sure, the decision might be different. I see that the fight may take into a draw if
Thurman did not fall in the early round.

He redeemed himself as we notice the aging Pacquiao in the last few remaining rounds but gladly he throw that power punch and Thurman didn't
anticipate that he can't ignore Pacquiao's punch, he underestimated him.

Moving on, Spence and Thurman's fight will be exciting even there's nothing to stake aside from the name behind their careers.

And that specific fight with Pacquiao became a nightmare for Thurman because it made him go inactive for some years, that's what he got for underestimating an opponent who do have a good KO rate and unfortunate enough because that man turns out to be Manny Pacquiao who is famous for giving some lessons to a boxer who doesn't know where the line is.

That specific fight made Thurman waste a couple of years and if only he didn't get inactive, he could've been a champion and redeem his loss towards another boxer. But it is what it is, now he is up against a man whom he did rejected few years back.
1630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 03, 2023, 09:27:40 PM
^ That’s funny. I bet on a few games yesterday and was lucky enough to win them all in a parlay but the only games we had that were the same was the Bucks beating the Magic. I also had the Suns over the Pelicans and the Grizzlies over the Rockets. Not the greatest odds for a 3 game parlay but it felt pretty safe to me. You got lucky on the Bulls game.

Yup! it was really lucky well when I bet I always look at the odds, and if the odds are too far from each other or I think it is not going to be profitable I will stay away from it, and just like I always say, looking at the odds, looking at the injuries recent games for the teams that will fight, and their recent games that the team have faced each other, but pretty much it all goes down to luck,

There are so many games today and here are my picks for today's game,

Chicago Bulls VS Phoenix Suns

The stake odds for this game are 2.32 for the Bulls and 1.64 for the Suns, Right now the Chicago Bulls got no injuries while Landry Shamet can not play for the Suns, and Terrence Ross is doubtful if he can play for the Suns, for this game because the Phoenix Suns now have Kevin Durant this is a hard game for the Bulls, and because Devin Booker can also play a great game and can also be in tandem with Durant My pick is the Phoenix Suns,

Miami Heat VS New York Knicks

The stake odds for this game are 2.29 for the Heat and 1.66 for the Knicks, Right now Kyle Lowry, and Nikola Jovic, can not play for the Heat, and Caleb Martin, Jimmy Butler, and Omer Yurtseven are doubtful if they can play for the Heat While the Knicks doesn't have any injuries, for this game I think that the New York Knicks have a great chance in winning this game, so my pick is the New York Knicks,

Golden State Warriors VS New Orleans Pelicans

The stake odds for this game are 1.55 for the Warriors and 2.55 for the Pelicans, right now Gary Payton II, and Stephen Curry can not play for the Warriors, Andre Iguodala and Andrew Wiggins are doubtful they can play for the Warriors while Josh Richardson, Jose Alvarado, Larry Nance Jr., E.J. Liddell, and Zion Williamson can not play for the Pelicans, and Jonas Valanciunas is only doubtful if he can play, so my pick is the Golden State Warriors

Los Angeles Lakers VS Minnesota Timberwolves

The stake odds for this game are 1.97 for the Lakers and 1.88 for the Timberwolves, right now LeBron James, and D'Angelo Russell can not play for the Lakers, while, Anthony Davis, along with Dennis Schroder is doubtful they can play, and Karl-Anthony Towns, can not play and Jaylen Nowell, Wendell Moore Jr. is doubtful if they can play for the game, right now this is the only game with a close one for me I will go with the Lakerse, my pick is the Los Angeles Lakers,

Right! Lots of games today but let's just try to filter some games that can give us more profits and gives us more chances to win. It's much better to playsafe especially if we're on a lose streak Grin

Tailing you with the Suns and Knicks bet mate, I've got less doubt for the teams I've mentioned as the Knicks are much reliable than the Heat mainly if Butler will not play today as Butler is listed as probable. Especially for the Suns, KD is now playing with them and as long as there's no injuries in the big three, there chances will always be great. Good luck!
1631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Shakur Stevenson vs Shuichiro Yoshino April 8 on: March 03, 2023, 08:55:45 PM

Nah, smart money should be on Shakur Stevenson and not on Yoshino. For me even with that huge odds for him, I wouldn't take that bite, just saying. Shakur will be too good for Yoshino in this fight. This is the Japanese first fight out of his native home country, and so there will be adjustment because this is a big stage and he might not take the limelight. As for what will be the good bet for Shakur, we will have to wait and see then. No value for ML, but if there are more options, then obviously we are going to bet on that with a higher odds.

I agree with you. No one will bet on this underdog since he is not even popular. Betting on Shakur does not necessarily mean you'll take the moneyline. There are other betting options, such as betting on the specific round Yoshino will be knocked out, or the range of rounds, which typically groups every three rounds. If you want higher odds, then bet on Shakur to win via KO. Based on his previous fights, he is not really a KO artist.

Even if we say Yoshino is popular, it's still not advisable to bet on him because the odds itself suggests that his chances are not that good against Shakur Stevenson if this is the latter's first fight in the weight class. Talking about the present odds, it's already expected that the ML is really not juicy because a 7:1? That's much more worse than the Butler-Inoue fight.
Hopefully, the bookies will release more betting options much sooner as we're already a month away from the fight date.
1632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 03, 2023, 09:34:05 AM

How about the Warriors as well switching gear in the 3rd quarter, outscoring the Clippers 42-16 and then somewhat let go of the pedal but still a decent win in the 4th, 28-19. And so the Clippers is still win less when the acquire Westbrook.

Even without Curry, the Warriors are still a tough team. Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole led the Warriors to a big win. The second half belonged to the Warriors as they dominated the Clippers with their efficient shooting. The big news is that the curse continues: Westbrook is now officially 0-4 after joining the Clippers.

I don't know about that curse but it's hard to deny that since Westbrook's arrival, the LA Clippers is now crumbling into pieces and it's like they doesn't know what do anymore as Kawhi missed many opportunities and then PG played much lesser minutes mainly today when he didn't get back on the much needed 4th quarter win to end the day in their favor.

I won't be surprised if Russell Westbrook will be in the free agency this off season as it's very likely that he won't be getting any extension.
1633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Doge really go to the moon? on: March 02, 2023, 07:56:48 PM
Since we all know that dogecoin is getting backed by Elon Musk and people also want him to accept payment in dogecoin for his Tesla cars. And since his single tweet can give a boost to the price of dogecoin, what do you think?

Does Elon really take doge to the moon?

The majority of people are believing that Elon will do something and Dogecoin will hit $1 by this year. What do you think guys? Will tesla accept dogecoin as a payment? And the chances are high that other merchants do accept dogecoin as a payment.

Share your thoughts.

There's no definite answer to that question OP. Sure, Elon has definitely boosted the Dogecoin's price in a single tweet but you shouldn't forget OP that his aim is not for the greater good. I mean, he is so unpredictable, so it's really risky to invest on these type of coin where it's heavily controlled by some whales named Elon and the others. You better prepare for it because Elon will suddenly move as long as he wanted it to happen and surely, he won't tell anybody about it.

It's still best for you OP to invest in a coin who got a much bigger potential compared to this meme coins, a coin that has less risk.
1634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people go into gambling? on: March 02, 2023, 07:33:22 PM
I don't think there is a universal reason.
Exactly! You can't just ask that kind of question because although it's a common question, that doesn't mean that you can have a common answer in response to that. There's a lot of factors why people are gambling, some are desperate enough because gambling is the easiest way and fastest way to have money as long as you're that lucky. There are some people who are seeking entertainment and money at the same time, and then there are some who gambles and bet for a living.
1635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 02, 2023, 07:03:11 PM
4/5 nice won.

Just my Chicago bet lost, I had a good night last night.
Congratulations to you and to all the winners yesterday. If I am not mistaken, all the favorites won their respective games today except for the Portland Trail Blazers. If anyone did a parlay on the other games then I bet he is a big winner now.
I forgot to do that.  Cheesy
Almost 3/3 today, but my bet against the Trail Blazers spoiled it. I thought that they will bounce back after that loss against the Warriors. The game was a close one until the 4th quarter where the Blazers only scored 19 points. They can't also stop Ingram as he scored 40 points in 18/29 shooting. I lost my bet on this one.

On my other bets, the Sixers won easily against the Heat on the road and that's without Embiid as well. They really bounced back after their lost on their home against the Heat as well. No chance for the Heat on this game as the Sixers just dominated every quarter. Also, the Lakers won against the Thunder without their big 3. Yes it might only be Thunder, and that's no SGA as well, but for the Lakers, all games for them are a must win if they want to clinch to the play-in or playoffs.

2/3 bets as well same with @danherbias07. Cheesy

Heads up my friend, at least you got two of your three bets correct and it was still a good day.

I admit that Blazers-Pelicans was somehow unexpected because I'm alsoo rooting for the Blazers to bounce back after the loss they got recently but that didn't happened as they just let the Pelicans do their own thing in the last 5 minutes of the game.

How about the games tomorrow? Will the Clippers bounce back this time after their 0-3 run, it is a must win for the team but it won't be that easy because the game will be played at the Warriors homecourt, we all know what that means.

Good thing for me because I won that specific bet, I know that the Blazers are good but the problem about them is that they are not that consistent and in the end. In my perspective, Lillard is the only one keeping the team afloat. They might be in the playoffs or play-in but they won't survive long enough to keep their ship from sinking.

About the Clippers vs Warriors match-up, I'm still in the middle and haven't yet decide where to put my bets as we cannot disregard the fact that the Warriors is so good at home while the Clippers as well is much healthier and is looking for a bounce back.
1636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: March 02, 2023, 06:11:14 PM
[snip]
I think it will still be the style of Fulton vs the power of the Monster. Their skills sets might be equal at this stage. But the power will be at Inoue as we have seen that he has that knockout power. And for sure Fulton knows this one and going to try to avoid it as possible without getting hit.
That is an interesting matchup between Stephen Fulton and Naoya Inoue. As you mentioned, Fulton's style and Inoue's power will likely play a big role in the fight. While their skill sets may be relatively equal --but for me, Inoue's knockout power is certainly something to watch out for. I have this doubt and I don't think if you notice this too, Fulton will likely try to avoid getting hit by Inoue's power punches while using his own technical skills and footwork to try and outmaneuver him. It will be a test of Fulton's defensive abilities as well as his ability to counter Inoue's power with his own shots --it is worth noting that Fulton has shown his own punching power in his recent fights, so he should not be underestimated in this regard

Yeah, we will definitely be looking for Inoue's power in this division. Again, others might question if he still has it in at 122 lbs since he beat almost everyone at bantamweight with a KO. But since he steps up the plate, this will be his biggest test for far as he will be facing the champion at this weight class. But 4 lbs is not that any difference for boxers and for even average joe person. I mean we can increase our weight and remain the same or even in the case of Inoue he will have more power as there is no is issues as far as making the weight right now.

Exactly, he just moved up a bit and I don't think that will reduce his power and speed. Inoue is very ambitious and does not stay in just one division. He has big goals as a boxer, and his journey so far is already very impressive. He likes to add more accomplishments in new divisions.

Most of us are thinking that Inoue is going to win by KO as a possible outcome of this fight, but that still remains to be seen as he is fighting a champion.

The difference is not that big and I'm rooting that Inoue will be more comfortable at this weight because back at 118, it seems that he is already having some troubles on maintaining his weight mainly in the Inoue-Butler fight where he had to reduce more weights before the weigh-in just to fit the required weight. That said, he'll probably bring more troubles in his present weight class because of that.
1637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Caleb Plant vs David Benavidez on: March 02, 2023, 05:53:29 PM
I do not think that Caleb Plant has any real chance against David Benavidez. For Benavidez this entire fight is just basically a PR/marketing stunt to do right by his fans and his image as well as his overall boxing career. If it was not for his cocaine embarrassment, this fight would probably never even take place.

He did not take any drugs which would enhance his fighting skills/abilities or training regiments, its just him being punished for being found out. This changes nothing  in his fighting ability, though. Which is why its going to be an easy win.

I see no reason to punish him for his drug habit other than deceiving his fans who bet money on him to be physically and mentally healthy in his fights. His habit might get him in prison or he might have a heart attack. I guess this makes us feel a bit uneasy to bet on him.

A drug test is part of any sports regulation so David being caught positive deserved punishment. And who knows, his family or any member of his family is also part of the syndicate. Do you remember when his older brother Jose another big potential in boxing was shot and hit in the leg? That injury affected Jose's footwork and was stopped by Crawford.

Anyways, I also think David will be like a bull in the ring, too strong and too heavy-handed against Caleb. Caleb needs to hit David with a damaging shot to get his respect, otherwise, David will just continue to become aggressive and might even open himself to lure Caleb's defense. I see a David stoppage in the 2nd half of the fight but I am hoping for the underdog Caleb to pull an upset.

David Benavidez getting his punishment in the past was already enough for him because every move has always a consequence entailed, but speculating or accusing that maybe one or two of his family are also using it? That's quite a bit too much mate, and if ever you are right, we don't have any right to prosecute them because that's their personal life.

I bet you wouldn't want the same thing too and hear that somebody is accusing you or a member of your family, right? So, let's just focus on the topic and let their personal lives out of this.

Yeah it was in the past and he's now in this stage likewise drug test is a part of any sport and if David will get the go signal, then we will see him inside the ring and will showcase his talent, I don't want to go with their personal life as it's their position to decide where to bring it, I'm more on the capabilities of these two fighters in trying to win over one another.

Yes exactly, especially as a bettor, we should just focus on their talents and strengths to see who got more chances to win in this fight as that's what we needed in order to increase our chances as well. We won't get anywhere if we are also taking affairs on their personal life because that's already none of our business, we know that judges doesn't score based on their personal lives.
1638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Shakur Stevenson vs Shuichiro Yoshino April 8 on: March 02, 2023, 05:18:08 PM
But it's slim though, we all know how good Shakur is and he wouldn't let someone deter his goals of fighting for the belt next. So we should lean on Shakur with a big win via ko/tko.
The winning method odds for Shakur to win via knockout should be high because he's not a knockout artist, so it would be profitable if you want to bet that's option. Yoshino haven't lose in any fight and he tend to win via knockout, so it's quite hard to judge how good his chin. I still think Shakur win via decision is high likely to happen, but the odds still not included and if it's not worth, it's better for me to bet via knockout.

Exactly, the likelihood of Shakur winning by KO is not high. Would you bet on Shakur to win via KO, knowing his boring strategy in boxing? Personally, I doubt that he will win by KO in this fight. Most likely, it will still go the full 12 rounds, and he will win via unanimous decision. However, if you like to have fun and are willing to take the risk, then Shakur winning by KO could be the right bet for you.

I agree though, his knockout percentage is not even 50%, so most likely it will be a long and deliberate fight for him against Yoshino, unless he become a big hitter and Yoshino doesn't have a good chin to begin with.

It might be better though for me at least, so just sit out this match.

And wait for the outcome because the next fight might be the good one to bet. Shakur vs the winner of Haney vs Loma.

If you can take that risk and you are aiming for a considerable profit then it's on you to decide. I mean, knowing the strategy
of Shakur, he will continue to seek for his advantage in winning by UD.

Unless he's camp already change his strategy and starts practicing him on a KO base fight, we can't tell if how things will proceed.

It's on the bettors' decision whether to bet on KO or UD, but most likely Shakur is the favorite here.

also, shakur's name rings a bell more than his japanese opponent. so yeah, i agree that shakur will be the favourite of bookies here. if you are not very sure about the winning method for this match, you can always place a bet in the major betting line. but in my opinion, shakur will likely win on this match. but should not be confident as the KO percentage of yoshino is about 75% as compared to 47% for shakur.

Who would not know about who is Shakur Stevenson when the man almost dominated the whole super featherweight and if it weren't for his weight issues, he could've defeated Robson legally and probably will become the undisputed champion in the years to come. But it is what it is, he is now campaigning at lightweight where there's so many huge names in the same division. It might unfortunate for the Japanese boxer but I strongly think that he's just a stepping stone.

They really change a lot when their rooster changed, it seems their trades are pretty much effective because they overhaul their rooster and get a good supporting cast to help them on their important run to reach their target. Its good to see them to reach on playoffs since this current rooster is now what we can say a title contender compare before.

Now the curse is on the Clippers because they have Westbrook. Two consecutive losses in overtime - that hurts. I guess the most important thing is the plays in the dying minutes; it looks like they are struggling in those moments. They should improve in that area, otherwise their ranking will slide down.

I don't call Westbrook as a curse he still give solid contribution to Clippers. Maybe they are just finding ways to create good chemistry and if Westbrook got his confidence back which has been broken on Lakers provably we can see him back on his old form. They really need to find ways to win on crunch time because they always get upset there, also for Westbrook he needs to be more careful on turnovers and taking unnecessary fouls so that he can help the team on 4th quarter or even on overtime.

Lol, we don't believed such curse though, perhaps it just a coincidence that they lost again. But as you have said, the did contribute to the Clippers just unfortunately that they just fall short. On critics will find a way to blame Westbrook for their lost.

Lakers though, was surprised that they make a good comeback. For he they beat a good them in Mavericks with Luka and Irving both playing, and they beat them at their home court no less.

Poor Westbrook, always on the headlines everywhere he goes and now the Clippers just because the team is now 0-3 since the trade happened. I reckon that they are still adjusting to what they have now as Westbrook was added to the new equation and let's give them more time to adjust as their current standing is still safe but they should really win more games in the future. In my perspective, I bet the Clippers will be more of a threat once they found the right chemistry.

Lakers though, was surprised that they make a good comeback. For he they beat a good them in Mavericks with Luka and Irving both playing, and they beat them at their home court no less.

Good for them because they thrived real hard to cover the gap between them and the Mavs, it was sure not an easy game for them but still they managed. But earlier against the Grizz, the Lakers were in a much different form because even if AD didn't explode that much and Jarred only scored low. Next match-up is against the Thunders, it will be interesting if they can handle it well.

So Fulton fighting in Japan is somehow worrisome since Japan is known as a country that has an unfair judging system.  So I think in order to win Fulton needs to KO Inoue. If Fulton failed to knock out Inoue, no matter how ahead he is in point, there is a huge possibility that he will lose the fight.

In fairness to Inoue, I think he really needs to finish the fight with a KO win or dominating performance to remove all rumors and assumption that the fight is unfairly judged.

We should not take that unfair judging speculation on that fight until we see how the match will go.

Naoya Inoue's entire win in Japan didn't associate with controversy because the match was clearly dominated by him.

Maybe just judge the fight after it happened. It didn't even come to my mind that something like that will happen especially at this big fight.

I also got the opposite way where I believe that Japan is much more known for their honest and fair character as right from the start where they are still kids, their culture is putting so much for them to learn how to respect and to be honest in any given circumstances. Now I know that Japan itself also got an infamous rumors about them but that doesn't give us any right to judge them.

Inoue having this kind of status was because of his dedication and talent, surely, Inoue himself is the reason why he's right where he is now and not because he got some help.
