What's with Manish Pandey? His performance is going down and down. I was expecting him to impact the scoreboard but never expected it to be zero. I was checking his stats throughout his IPL career and found he has an SR that is unacceptable. Why DC is still having this player on their team, he should be dropped and a new talent should be given a chance.

Out of the total 167 runs scored by PBKS, it seems Prabhsimran Singh contributed more than 50 percent to the target. He started slow but his momentum changed after he scored his second half-century in this season. His playing style looks similar to Gill's, the timing and placement were spot on. Such consistent performance might get him selected in the National team.

I never ever thought that Rashid Khan can also bat, I never expected him to bat so agressively. It might be because of money or it might be because he loves to play in IPL.

SKY was in his best and we know he is the best batter across the globe in T20 format. What he did yesterday was what he is expected after his incredible performance in T20WC.

As a fan of cricket I think the player of the match should have gone to Rashid Khan as not only he bowled well, he also batted exceptionally good yesterday.

This is one of the simplest & oldest ways to scam someone.

What made me compare the scammer's image was how cleverly he created the same username.

If you compare both images, there is one thing that is similar the username. If you dig deeper, it is all about where the username has been posted. The scammer is intelligent, but still careless, as he cannot copy the golden tick and the accompanying info.

These scams can led a newbie like you get convinced that the scammer is a Moderator. That is why you need to do a detailed check when talking to unknown.

I saw the emotional interview of Yashasvi Jaiswal yesterday after the big win by RR. Now the question that comes to my mind is that, will Rohit Sharma and the Indian team selectors give him a chance in the upcoming ODIWC.

I guess he might get as there are a couple of players injured. He has also proven he can bat pretty aggressively in the shorter format. He might do the same in a 50 over match too. The ones who were the probably considered for the final team are either out of form or are playing pathetically. I am talking about Prithvi Shaw, Sarfaraz Khan and etc.

Thanks for clearing the doubt webtricks. The problem here would be to prove that I am getting paid through signature or bounty campaign. I think it is better for me to consult a CA and and then update this thread with the information I get from him/her. We still have until July to file our returns.
1667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 12, 2023, 12:42:37 AM
Yesterday was a day of catches, while RR was seen taking some brilliant catches, KKR was seen dropping some simple catches. Jaiswal's incredible batting led to RR win the match with a good NRR. They are now comfortably sitting on the 3rd position of the point table dethroning MI to 4th.

Today we have an interesting game between MI & GT. MI would love to win the toss and bowl first as they have been very effective in chasing the target. Overall I am expecting some good batting from both sides today.

1668  Local / India / Re: Can you Save Tax through Crypto Donation under Section 80G on: May 11, 2023, 02:42:09 PM
I doubt it! My understanding here is that the source of your earning makes it harder. Since your source of earning is from crypto you would incurr a flat highest tax slab. I would prefer to talk to a CA or an expert in this matter. The person who can answer your question is @webtricks. I hope he can share some of his experience with regards to Section 80G. By the way if this works then it is a loophole within the tax system.

Yeah! Rather waiting for webtricks I would suggest checking it with someone who knows or has good knowledge with tax as I did. My intention for posting this topic on our local board was to create awareness. It is better to do your own research rather wait for someone to reply.

If you have found an answer similar to mine or different then do reply to this thread as I am trying to find an answer here.
1669  Local / India / Can you Save Tax through Crypto Donation under Section 80G on: May 11, 2023, 11:48:43 AM
A few days back I was browsing the internet and stumble upon an article discussing about Section 80G. You can read in detail about this section in this article. When you go through the article you will find a heading, what is the mode of payment under Section 80G?. It is written that cheque, DD & cash are accepted mode of payments. It was clear at that time that cryptocurrency is not an accepted mode of payment.

But, what happens when I convert crypto to INR and transfer it to my bank account. Using my bank account I can donate some money to eligible funds or NGOs. Now, the question that came to my mind can I avail tax benefits under this section? To find an answer I did a thorough check online but found nothing. I then checked with one of my friend who is good with taxes.

He said that "As of now, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) regulates all cryptocurrency transactions that occur within India. While this covers general transactions involving cryptos. it unfortunately doesn't yet apply specifically to charitable donations". Which I was aware of after reading the article.

Now, here comes the good part! He said, "If you contribute to eligible causes using Indian Rupee, you could qualify for deductions, if they are made to organiations recognized by the Government. Keep copies of your financial transactions and submit those official proof of donation and you might get tax advantages.

What do you guys think? Is this a loophole?

1670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: May 11, 2023, 09:55:14 AM

On Pujara i don't agree with you and @pakhitheboss's reasoning.

You can make exactly the same argument for Virat as well if we put aside his last marathon inning against Australia on a dead pitch. There is a fair chance of Pujara failing at his role again but you have to back your senior players when they are showing signs of good form. Rahane only got in because of Iyer's injury (IPL form is a minor reason for selection).

I am not a big fan of Kohli! He might have a big following but he has shown very rare moments where he can handle pressure. That was the reason he was removed from captaincy as his batting was going down the drain. Iyer was one of the factor but you cannot deny the new agressive Rahane. I have a feeling he might get selected for the ODI WC squad too.

Yeah, this duo is there and will be key for India, let's hope the former keeps his form and the latter concentrates on his bowling instead of trash talk.

We need trash talker and intimidators in the Indian team. The more these guys are agressive the more enjoyable will be the match. Shiraz has improved his bowling a lot after he got dropped few years back. At the moment both Shami and him are in the best form.
1671  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: May 11, 2023, 04:15:17 AM

I don't know whether the two test specialists (Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara deserve anymore chances). During the last 4 years, Pujara's batting average has remained below 35. There are far more deserving batsmen who can bat at no.3. Well.. I know that he is currently participating in county cricket, and scoring tons of runs for Sussex. But scoring in domestic matches doesn't always translate to runs at international level. Rahane is even worse. He has scored a grand total of 547 runs during the last two years, at an average of 20.26. Why is this guy still present in the test squad?

I do not understand why Pujara always gets a chance. Rahane was removed due to poor performance earlier. They selected him after his aggressive performance in the ongoing IPL. A lot should be credited to MSD for showing confidence in Rahane. I think they both will be part of the playing 11 but I do agree there are other talents in India who can replace Pujara in test cricket.
1672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 11, 2023, 04:04:59 AM
Pandey & Sanju Samson have a fear of running between the wickets. Yesterday's run out of Marsh shows how unconfident is Pandey when it was his call to run. Then he gets out by a brilliant yorker from Pathirana, his contribution was 27 runs in 29 balls. This guy should be dropped from the team as he has become useless. Being a low-score match still, CSK was able to defend the target because of Pathirana's brilliant bowling.

Did you check the version of your wallet? The current version is 3.16. For me the transaction fee for Normal is showing $23.94 and for Economic it is showing $17.43.

Mempool give you an approximate transaction fee value. If you want to replicate it then use Low priority wherein you will find a fee of $14.81
1674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: May 10, 2023, 11:40:57 AM
Highly doubt that, if Kishan is playing then he'll replace KS Bharat mot someone else. I don't see any changes in the Top 4.

Gill-Rohit will open, Pujara will continue on his 1 down position (He playing county atm and piling up runs), Kohli and there are high chances of Rahane batting at 5.

I do not think the team management will make any changes to the top order. If Kishan is selected then he would be a replacement for Bharat and he might bat at this position. Bharat's performance as a batter in the last matches was not that good. I also feel that Kishan might bat also bat where Iyer use to. He is an aggressive batter we have seen him score a century against Bangladesh.

On the points table and considering the performance this season CSK is looking a far better team than DC. While DC has won 3 of their last 5 games against CSK in IPL. Overall an exciting and thrilling game will happen for sure today. The match is being played at Chidambaram Stadium so we can expect an overwhelming attitude from the CSK fan. The part that would make this game more enjoyable would be seeing MSD bat.

1676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 10, 2023, 05:27:47 AM
From 8th place on the IPL points table to 3rd place, what a comeback for MI! RCB bowlers were decimated by both Ishan Kishan and SKY. Rohit has completely lost his form before the World Cup, which is a concern for the Indian team.

Nehal Wadhera is another upcoming talent; he has already scored two consecutive 50s in this season of the IPL. The only concern for MI is that they are missing Bumrah, and they are struggling with the bowling lineup.
1677  Local / India / Re: UP Board introduces crypto & others tech for class 9 to 12. on: May 09, 2023, 11:37:23 AM
A great news and an excellent initiative by the UP government. I am sure other states where the ruling party has government would emulate in their local boards for education.

What I am concerned is that whether the crypto part has been researched and prepared thoroughly. In general local boards tend to mess up with the information provided in their books. What I happy is that one state govt took the initiative and implemented it.
1678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: May 09, 2023, 09:56:08 AM
I guess BCCI did not have any options left for replacing KL Rahul. I am not happy with them selecting Ishan Kishan. At the moment for me he falls unders the category of highly unreliable batter but good WC. If he is part of playing 11 the Bharat needs to be on the bench. I would utilize his WC experience more than his batting ability if I were the captain.
1679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 09, 2023, 09:12:14 AM
After yesterday's thrilling win KKR has moved up the ladder of the point table. RCB is now on the 6th spot just below KKR. The need to win today's match against MI with a good NRR if they want to be in the playoffs. MI has been chasing good and if Rohit wins the toss then they will bowl fist I think.

KKR won the match because of Russel and Rinku Singh. The past couple of matches including yesterday's were all about the last ball.

Important information regarding the Asia Cup 2023 have come from the Asian Cricket Council that the Asia Cup likely to be hosted by Sri Lanka. This had come as a result of BCCI announcement that India won't travel to Pakistan for Asia Cup matches. With this the participation of Pakistan is unclear. Sources state that Pakistan might boycott the tournament.

Pakistan continue to conduct the tournament in home with India matches alone played in Dubai. The broadcasters hadn't shown interest on it along with the summer being very hard in Dubai which makes it difficult for the players. Even Oman have requested to host the tournament.

It seems Bangladesh & Afghanistan had also voted for the Asia cup to be shifted out of Pakistan and to be hosted in Srilanka. Now the only option left for Pakistan to boycott the tournament. Bad news for cricket fans who wanted to see these two teams play against each other.

It is also unclear now what will be PCB's stand on the ODIWC. I do not think they can boycott the ICC tournament but I am sure they will ask ICC to shift their matches from India.
