if ken would get these shares on an exchange, we could at least see our divs...we are owed divs since bf shut down...if we saw divs, that would quell a lot of the shit-storm of scam accusations. until these shares are fully listed, we don't know if ken even has the btc he already owes in past divs. the longer the shares sit in limbo, and the longer no divs go out, the more I am inclined to decide that YES ActM is a SCAM!

the balls in your court Ken, are you going to do something, or simply delete?

p.s.-crossposting in the unmoderated thread-just in case.
1662  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: January 09, 2014, 05:32:25 AM
I would like to see the shares on cryptotrade as well, but mainly to be paid my dividends past due. Without these divs paid, however scant they may be, I begin to wonder if those btc are still there,or even if anything Ken says is true. Getting the shares on exchange is more important than Ken wants to think, and for several reasons, actually. Right now it's starting to look like Van Halen's brown M&M clause. If he can't manage that one simple thing, what else is he incapable of doing correctly?Huh

Oh My God this is awful. where do I even begin?
I feel like Ken is speculating on the price of btc to bail out this jalopy.

Dividends, remember those? Please don't speculate with btc owed to your investors Ken. Also, speculation is a poor business model. Share trading is important to your investors, even if it doesn't matter to you. I guess we wait because at this point no one would buy them anyways. Yeeesh!

Disappointing? It is a different thing when the disappointment is mostly expected.

Go hire a kid to code your share reclamation thing, get someone to do it. It's not costly, just time consuming, I understand that much. I also know that your local university would have students eager to make a quick dollar to punch in some code. Get Er Dun, Boy-o!

1666  Other / Off-topic / Re: Thinking about naming my baby girl Bitcoin.. (due in 3 weeks) on: January 08, 2014, 03:30:26 AM
At best it is in poor taste. Naming your kid after money??? C'mon dude.
At worst, bitcoin fails (it could happen, remember) and her name becomes a cruel joke.

On a side note... I always noticed that hippies named their kids stuff like Star Guide, and River, why didn't punks call thier kids names like Gasoline or Death? Hippies: 1,  Punks: 0
1667  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: January 08, 2014, 03:02:10 AM
bitcoin is supposed to be used to trade for goods and services. this is still kosher in China.
you can buy a lot of w/ever online for just one $10000 USD/ bitcoin.

I've heard Chinese voices state that things are changing with the Party and the people. Things are also changing in the west. Govt.s are being cautious, but they also are starting to see the world trade and innovation value of BTC. Not to mention, they have already figured out that you can't actually "ban" it.
They talk about leadership in development being important to growth of the nation blah blah blah. Bitcoin does well for the economy.

Now, if there weren't so many outright scams and disastrous fiascoes going on all over the bitcoin world... They might not feel any need to intervene. Isn't; "the nail that sticks out gets hammered" an old Chinese adage?

if a machine had shipped ken would have been screaming about it from the rooftop of that underground air raid shelter thing where he parks his car.
He's only silent about his shortcomings.

1672  Economy / Speculation / Re: Thoughts on FBI dumping Silkroad BTC on: January 05, 2014, 04:09:33 AM
what if they treat the BTC like seized drugs? just delete his wallet and wipe his hard drive? I don't actually think this will happen, but since BTC is in regulatory limbo (kinda) I can't see the FBI doing much more than leaving it in cold storage. Why would they participate in a "grey" economy? especially when they know the whole BTC community is watching very closely.
anyhoo, they have to convict DPR first. Then figure out how to actually use BTC, which I'm guessing they are relatively clueless about still. which could lead us back to deletion of wallet (only by accident this time, lol)
I would actually LOVE to see the FBI accidentally delete all those BTC.
1673  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: January 05, 2014, 03:32:36 AM
I think the big issue is share access.

+100
share access (and payment of past divs due) are very important. the foot-dragging on these 2 issues are beginning to make ActM look more and more like labcoin every day that they are not resolved. Get On It Man! Holidays are OVER ffs!

The website looks good from an end user ease-of-access point of view. there is little information about the company, location etc.
I have no experience with Perfect Money, but this is how you add USD funds apparently.
prices seem to be ok.
wow
