1681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how much would someone need in Crypto this bear run to become a millionaire? on: August 04, 2022, 02:56:01 AM
To be a millionaire right now one's portfolio needs to be worth of atleast $250k. This means in the long term when the market bounces, surely the same can turn to a million.

Well, it's not a small amount and more importantly what coin will you choose to invest 250k USD to reach 1 million USD in the future. It sounds simple, but in practice it is not so simple. The market fluctuates unpredictably, sometimes causing us to lose money if we are too eager to make a profit or the dream of becoming a millionaire quickly will kill us. Even worse if this $250k is from a loan, we shouldn't aim too far but build our investment step by step using whatever capital you have.
1682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ATH for ETH on: August 04, 2022, 02:21:43 AM
...Now that many people are rushing to invest on binance, I think, binance will become second position among other cryptocurrencies in future because their teams are seriously working to make their customers enjoy a massive income from their investments in the future.

In order for BNB to overtake the capitalization of ETH, it is necessary that the price of BNB increased 4 times, and the price of Ethereum remained the same. Do you really believe in such a development in the cryptocurrency market?
BNB have a long way to go in the Crypto space. Sooner or after, BNB will pumped above it's previous ATH and retest to another Price value. It's all fact, but time will tell for the patient ones and BNB can over take ETH with time only if CZ entirely put his focus on Binance native coin. All exchange coins pump with no doubt but it's all deals with time. ETH on the other hand is working hand in hand with BTC which keeps dipping in the market, and it dump affects half of the market.

There can be no doubt that BNB is one of the most serious rivals of ETH out of all the altcoins, but for BNB to surpass ETH to become the king of altcoins, BNB still has a lot of work to do and a long way to go.

The current criteria of BNB, fast transaction speed, and low gas fees, as well as the fact that BNB is still too centralized and not what makes it so outstanding when compared to ETH, I think it still isn't appealing enough for developers and big investors in the market.
1683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you know when to sell? on: August 04, 2022, 02:10:47 AM
When to sell a coin is probably when it's have generated profits, that's the main and prime thing. Before a trader must have place triggered the sell price, he or she must ensure he's in Profits. I only triggered my sell price when I'm fully aware that I'm in Profits and there's absolutely nothing that will hinder me from not selling after learning from my mistakes. Some traders uses a general basis which is buy when the market is in serious dump and sell when it must have enter bull period. This basis alone have change so many certain things for traders.

To simplify that problem when investing, we should plan and target when to buy and when to sell so as not to be confused when there are abnormal fluctuations in the market.

We will never know what will be the last ATH in the bull season or what will be the ATL this bear season, as long as we stick to our target and stick to what we have set, not break its principles.
1684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 03, 2022, 07:11:25 PM

Winning 6 out of 19 is not a bad statistic, if you ask me. But in the past, South Africa had excellent test players such as Dale Steyn and Hashim Amla. Nowadays they don't have any test specialists. Most of the players are more suited for ODI and T20 formats. But there are a few plus points. Keshav Maharaj has now emerged as a world class allrounder. And South African top order is in good shape. If Nortje and Rabada can bowl consistently, then they will be able to give a good fight to England.

Well, I do believe that South Africa has the capability of giving England a serious fight. But at the same time, things really look rosy for England, to be honest. I really don’t think that winning 6 out of 19 is a helpful statistic for any team stepping into the next match against that opponent.

Another thing is Dale Steyn has been the backbone of South African bowling in test cricket for quite a long time. His absence is obviously a concern for South Africa. Even though South Africa has a lot of things to show for them and they also played well in the shorter format against England. I have to say I have my doubts that South Africa will be able to win in the test format.
1685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 03, 2022, 05:05:32 PM
@Sithara007 normally I would say team that India is superior, but my gut feeling says that Pakistan will beat them again because team India is not as strong as they were in the past. Furthermore it’ll be an epic finale if these two sides can make it, but I wouldn’t be surprised if team India fails to make it and with one eye on the T20 World Cup it’ll interesting to see what team Rohit and India’s coach Dravid selects.
At this point, I would say that both the teams are having almost equal chances. Pakistan has performed well during the last 3-4 months. And India has to deal with the lack of form from Virat Kohli, who used to be their backbone. My gut feeling is the same as yours. I expect that Pakistan is going to win.. Anyway, irrespective of the outcome, we will get a chance to witness battle between some of the greats, such as Babar Azam vs Jasprit Bumrah, and Shaheen Shah Afridi vs Indian top order.

Likewise, I doubt that Pakistan will also be able to make it to the finals. I just feel like there are better T20 teams compared to Pakistan at the moment. But it is very possible for Pakistan to reach the semifinals.

But if Pakistan wants to win, they will have to perform well as a team. Only Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah Afridi's performances will not be enough for Pakistan.

India will be missing Virat Kohli who is a stellar performer and also a big-time match winner for India. I believe Hardik Pandya is going to perform really well for India in this T20 World Cup.

18 years young goalkeeper Gabriel Slonina goes to Chelsea FC. He comes from America - Chicago Fire. He is in America is a great talent and now he gets training to maybe become a superstar. He costs up to 15 million euros including bonuses and from 01.01.2023 he is in the squad at Chelsea. Previously, Real Madrid was also interested in Slonina, there was an agreement... or probably nothing in june this year. At Chelsea there are 3 goalkeepers and the youngest is currently 27 years, so it was time for a talent.

Source: https://twitter.com/ChicagoFire/status/1554550167331823616

It is always exciting to have young talent on the team. I have always liked those clubs which constantly think about bringing in a young talented goalkeeper and working with them to make that goalkeeper one of the world's elite.

Chelsea has a really solid chance of doing something like that here. He had 10 clean sheets in the last season. That is quite remarkable for a goalkeeper who is only 18 years old. Chelsea will be able to work well with him if they put a proper development plan in place for him. I think Gabriel Slonina really needs to work on his positioning.
1687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 03, 2022, 02:13:53 PM
In upcoming test series, England vs South Africa home team is having good advantage and can win this because they are in good shape and after winning four test matches their confidence level is also very high with South African's are not good in red ball as we already watch them in last few series even they are missing their captain but still they have no enough power to win against home side England which is performing extraordinary in last few test matches specially against India which is going to be great for them.
Even in last few white ball series they are not good, but this is completely different, and they have few quality players those can change things very drastically for them and give them good success South African are going to face tough time here in England and after this they are going to be in Australia for their next test series.

In terms of the current position of the teams, I believe England is obviously better than South Africa in a test format right now. And as far as I know, England has a completely different team and also different coaches for test cricket. But on the other hand, South Africa does not have anything like that.

So, I believe England will have a better game plan for test cricket. Nevertheless, South Africa is entitled to be confident due to its excellent performances. In the last 19 test matches between England and South Africa, South Africa only managed to win six of them. That is not a very favorable record in my opinion.
1688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will the next Bull run look like? on: August 02, 2022, 02:26:26 PM
My honest answer is the next bull run will probably be the same as the last one since history never change in the crypto industry, bitcoin will get a price hike which most likely gonna trigger a new ATH and altcoins will also follow and some of them might not be able to make it because of lack development for the past years, so they will end up crashing their price and will never recover forever. That's why when investing in altcoins, go for the trusted ones where you might not gonna worried about some investment loss when a bull run will come, and don't forget to spare some money in bitcoins as well because they never fail to increase their price and exceed our expectations regarding its price.

I also assume that things will always be the same, history will repeat itself. Because OP hasn't gone through what a bull cycle looks like and he's still sticking to his decision, I hope OP will stay until the bull season comes. A great feeling when you focus on everything during bear season, and when bull season comes, most good coins hit new highs. Honestly, the feeling at that time was hard to describe but I know one thing, it will be well worth it for those who persevered in holding and DCA during the bear season and never left the market.
1689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC or Gold Investment? on: August 02, 2022, 02:13:26 PM
Bitcoin is riskier than investing in gold, but you are right at this point we should take advantage of investing in bitcoin instead of gold because bitcoin has fallen a lot from its ATH and the chances of profiting from it are very easy. In the event that someone asked me what I would choose to invest now, I would choose bitcoin over gold,  gold is good as well, but it is too stable to be profitable for us at the moment. Bitcoin is very close to the bottom and buying at this price is appropriate for the long term.
For the current phase of the market, I will sell gold to invest Bitcoin using a gradual buy strategy to the lowest price because it has high profit opportunities for the future, although Bitcoin investment is high risk compared to gold but I have no doubts about buying during a bear market, I'm sure will see bullrun in the next 1 year or even longer than that.

I very much welcome your decision, it's really good to diversify our portfolio because we can't predict what will happen in the future. But at this point i think let's take advantage of this rare opportunity when bitcoin is at a pretty cheap price compared to ATH and the possibility of us getting a big reward is very likely so we should decide determined. Although I will do the same as you, I will remind you once again that investing is risky so think carefully when deciding what to do.
1690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 02, 2022, 01:29:45 PM
ZimbabweV Bangladesh
After winning the toss and choosing to bat, Zimbabwe set a target of 157 runs in 20 overs. It is not possible to say whether Bangladesh will win this target as the performance of Bangladeshi batsmen is completely unstable. However, the chances of Bangladesh winning are high. The performance of Zimbabwe's middle-order players was very poor. The runs of 4 middle order batsmen are 5, 0, 2 and 4 respectively. Zimbabwe would have been able to score more than 180 if the middle order played well.
You are right. It is not possible to say for sure whether Bangladesh will win even though the target is low. Bangladesh lost two openers for 24 runs. Shanto and Anamul are at the crease. Anamul's batting in this series makes me think he is performing in an ODI match. His strike rate was below 100 in every match. I will not surprised if Bangladesh was defeated by a target of only 157 runs. Their performances in T20 and Test formats are very poor and erratic.

I am enjoying the match now. At the end of 8 overs, Bangladesh collected only 55 runs. Bangladesh players need to collect 102 runs from 72 balls if they want to win. It will not be easy for a team like Bangladesh to score 102 runs off 72 balls. Shanto and Mahmudulla are batting now. If these two batsmen get out before 100 then it will become more difficult for Bangladesh to win this match. I never imagined that Bangladesh would lose the series against a team like Zimbabwe. Bangladesh in particular has always been a bit luckier against Zimbabwe.
1691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 02, 2022, 01:25:52 PM
Serie A last season was also a fairly hot competition. now Serie A fans I think it's more like the Premier League. That's because it's not just the dominance of a handful of strong teams fighting for the title.
the club must have second-tier players who have the same qualities as their main squad. at least every position should have a proper replacement.
Not to mention, this season it looks like the players will also be bothered with the Qatar world cup agenda. It looks like the league schedule in Europe will clash with FIFA's agenda.

Serie A teams are not as strong as Premier League teams. There are few star players on the team. But the quality of the teams is almost equal. AC Milan, Inter Milan, Juventus, Napoli, Lazio, and Roma are all performing well. AC Milan, Inter Milan, and Napoli battled for the title last season. However, Juventus and Roma have strengthened themselves for next season. And so I think the next season will be more competitive than the last season.
1692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: EFL English Championship League 2022/2023 SOON! on: August 01, 2022, 05:31:06 PM
Hull City defeated Bristol City 2-1. Ozan Tufan and Michael Seri scored the winning goals for Hull City. I expect Hull City to reach the Premier League next year. Because I think they have made a very good team. The new owner of the team Acun Ilıcalı, transferred good players to the team this year. They deserve to be promoted to the Premier League.
We have very good start from few teams in first round of this season, even it's just start and very long way to go for staying at top but as we have good performance in last season from few teams we can expect good challenge in this season as well. Hull City were not good in last season but new owner Acun llicali was very ambitious about his team and for bringing them into top level hopefully they will do good in new season with Blackburn, Burnley and Blackpool are also in good shape and have some good players those can give them good results in crucial games.

Now we have to wait for how they will be in Championship and can these teams do much better for going into Premier League in next season.

Hull city Got Lucky in my opinion. I thought that Bristol City played better in that match compared to Hull City And honestly, I think Bristol City would have been the deserving winner of that match. The last goal which was scored by Hull City was a really lucky one. A big deflection from the defender of Bristol City caused the ball to end up in the back of the net and the goalkeeper could not do anything about that. But both teams had a lot more chances to score in that match. Two penalty appeals from Bristol City but both got denied. Ozan Tufan played really well in that match. But a win is a win and I believe they will be more confident from now on. And they have also made a good decision with Ozan Tufan.
1693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Terra Classic scam? on: August 01, 2022, 02:54:00 PM
Hello,
Is Terra Classic scam or does it have a chance of success?

Thank you.

Those people who invest when the price on it's high will call it a scam token but for those who invest at the bottom price will call it a chance/opportunity. It depends on which side you are, for now Terra classic still has a big community that supports the ecosystem so as long as the community is alive then Terra Classic will move on despite its bad history.

Buying luna classic at a low price also doesn't mean you won't be at risk in the future, because it could still fall further in price. Whales and large investment funds no longer support the project. The community exists because there are people like you who believe that just put in a small amount of money and hope the sharks will pump, then take profits but unfortunately it will not happen. Sharks will not stupidly use their money to pump and then you dump it on their heads.
1694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC or Gold Investment? on: August 01, 2022, 02:43:13 PM
If you want to get big profits then bitcoin is an option for now, but in this case we have a greater risk when compared to investing in gold, if to find it safe then gold is more promising but the profit we get is not much when compared to bitcoin, then in this case we have our own way to take advantage of each situation, and currently bitcoin is indeed being targeted by many investors because the price decline is happening.
1695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Least promising project of those 5 on: August 01, 2022, 02:30:08 PM
As the majority said here on your list, we cannot determine which of these currencies will have a bad or bright future, but at the moment they still have a good reputation in the international community, they can all be considered good as long as they provide updates and continue to improve their networks

Definitely, it is very difficult to judge which coin is the best and which coin is the worst of all of them. The criteria for evaluating the project will vary from person to person based on their knowledge and different perspectives. It can be seen that despite being in bear season, these 5 tokens are still updated regularly and are strongly supported by the community. So I can't say which will be the worst coin of them all.
1696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 01, 2022, 12:07:22 AM
Especially after Edinson Cavani left the Old Trafford, Manchester United will play with one striker and Cristiano as the main striker, the suitable alternative at this time is Anthony Martial. Besides that I don't take Juventus seriously with him, even after Dybala left Juventus still have Vlahovic and recently bring Federico Chiesa, not only that they also have Moise Kean.
Besides Anthony Martial, several names such as Roberto Firmino,
Timo Werner and Memphis Depay have reportedly made Juventus interested in signing one of them, and are more enable to look at these names than Martial if look at their performances last season.
Martial was one of those young talents that admire. Since after his arrival to Manchester United, and the coach that signed him left, the club has never believed the young lad. From leaving his position to Ibrahimovic to leaving it to Cavani and all the men are old, blocking the chances of the young star in the club. This season that we think he will prove himself, Ronaldo is still around to block him finally.
If Martial feels threatened in Old Trafford, he should leave .

I think he is just being shown a lot of hope and nothing of that hope is being turned into reality. There is someone who always keeps him from playing for the first team. I think it is high time he moved and found his future in another club. He will not be able to grow if he keeps playing for Manchester United. Obviously, things could be different if he was actually given a reasonable amount of chances to do so. In other teams, I think he will do better. With the situation Manchester United is in right now, it's not a smart idea for any individual player to hope for better things with this club.
1697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2022/2023 on: July 31, 2022, 07:24:52 PM
In the CS cup, Liverpool the opening with Alexander Arnold goal. He sent a nice goal into the corner without waiting for a nice pass.Even if City scores a goal towards the end of the match. Liverpool were so eager to win the game, then they won a penalty and Salah scored from the penalty spot and then another goal, the result was 3-1. As Liverpool will be very effective this year, they have been very strong offensively.

I believe Manchester City’s in for a fight this season. Liverpool have already proved that they are a much-improved team from last season. Liverpool will have to work really hard though to be successful in the English Premier League and also in the Champions League as well. I think Manchester City is the one which will be under pressure. Manchester City will need to win the English Premier League and also the Champions League as well. Otherwise, a lot of people are apt to point fingers at them and their coach. Liverpool did really well to win the FA Community Shield final against Manchester City. And it was also a convincing win. I know a lot of people are tempted to say otherwise. A lot of people are going to say that Liverpool won the match in the last 10 minutes. Yeah, they did. So?
1698  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone bought Bitcoin/altcoins already? on: July 31, 2022, 02:01:33 PM
I bought about 30% for bitcoin and 70% altcoins, of course it's a good thing if we divide assets into many places, don't just depend on bitcoin, because altcoins have a huge potential for 100% profit in a short time, but I never leave to buy bitcoin even with a smaller percentage than altcoins.

Have you considered the possibility of altcoins losing 100% of their value like luna did in the past? Except for bitcoins, there is no guarantee that any other  will be able to recover, let alone that you will be able to turn a profit. If it were me, I would do the opposite, 70% in bitcoin and only 30% in altcoins. With the bear market underway, bitcoin is a safe bet and only bitcoin can guarantee future returns.
1699  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Macroeconomic Situation of BTC on: July 31, 2022, 01:51:11 PM
There are numerous major factors behind the current bear market.

Belief in specific characteristics of cryptocurrencies
Ukraine is at war.
People tend to follow others.
Interest Rates and Inflation

What you guys think?

Yeah, that's how the market really works, I mean there could be events like the war that really affected not just crypto but the rest of the financial market. And if I remember back in 2018 (start of the bear market that time), news of hacks and then the crackdown started the plunge culminating to the pandemic in 2020.

So now this is new factor affecting the price, specially the war that is going on in Europe. And as we try to recover from the pandemic, inflation sets in.

The fact that inflation is not a surprise, in my view with money printing and aid packages during the covid pandemic, leads to inflation, which has been foretold. What we did not expect was that the war between Russia and Ukraine made the world economy even more wobbly and difficult and bitcoin is not immune to that influence. With or without these factors, this year is also expected to see a drop in the price of bitcoin, this is a crypto market cycle and a lot of people have been waiting for it to happen.
1700  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the future of Bitcoin uncertain? on: July 31, 2022, 01:36:56 PM
What could be the state of Bitcoin in the future?

This is discussed all the time but I am asking this question because my elder brother said that after 2025 Bitcoin will not exist anymore and will be completely dead. He also said that after 2025 Bitcoin will not be mined so that Bitcoin will not be able to hold its own position.

So I would like to know from you how reasonable this statement is?
2025 bitcoin will not axist? the future of bitcoin is certainly very certain and will not be disturbed by the government...

but the nature of bitcoin is that the price is very volatile, in the future you will definitely see bitcoin go down to 50% of its ATH and up 100% of its ATL. every day the price of bitcoin is uncertain and that's the interesting part of bitcoin.

There is no doubt that bitcoin's future is in doubt, but it is probably not quite accurate to say that the government won't bother with bitcoin at all. Bitcoin does not see the government as the enemy but the government seems to see bitcoin as the enemy. As long as bitcoin exists, they won't stop messing with it until it disappears, but that's not going to be possible. Bitcoin volatility is not a bad thing sometimes, the stronger the drop, the stronger the upside potential.
