Cant it become airborn?

Are You a Terrorist?  Huh
If someone started engineering the actual virus: YES; otherwise, it required a numbers of mutations to become airborn-transmissible.

I can only imagine what kind of fun airborn stuff area 51 has after half a century of research in complete secret from the public. Also how did the CI..... HIV virus start? Airborn is definetly possible considering what kind of stuff the USA has done in the past.

EDIT: China propably have a lot of fun stuff too as well as Russia, but I dont think US, RU or CH are going to release an airborne version of the virus... Once you know biology and chemistry it's not that hard (I don't know either of those very well), evil people run this world and they will be up to shady stuff, but killing us off wont happen anytime soon. Also are you one of the people who thinks that the terrorists are muslims in 95%+ of the cases?

I read once the most dangeuros and common hazard there was the dumping of exotic materials & other byproducts in open pits to burn. I don't know if it's an enduring practice. However if they do BW research or manufacturing they'll use (i doubt, but i can disprove it with Open-Source docs) they will surely protects their workforce since people with PhDs cost a lot more to replace than Lumberjacks.
Industrial accidents in the BW plants already occurred and get known. Accidents in Soviets'programs, .

1686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin needs to change to avoid the inevitable environmentalist backlash on: October 03, 2014, 07:21:10 AM
Fiat uses millions of times more energy than Bitcoin. Bitcoin will save the babies, puppies and rainbows.

And bring back unicorns.

+1.  Grin Cool

This has recently been discussed to death in this thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=770591.0

There are many solutions to this. https://blog.ethereum.org/2014/06/19/mining/  Some involve doing nothing as market forces and economics will force decentralized miners to be used for heating.

Economics are already pushing miners to go green to compete with sunk electrical costs  -

http://thecoinfront.com/new-decentralized-mining-pool-runs-on-100-clean-renewable-energy/

In the future it is likely that all electrical costs will be used create the product of heat with PoW as a nice consequence that helps subsidize the energy bill or ASIC appliance.

What this means is the PoW could go from being much more environmentally friendly than fiat to much greener.
No, it is not possible to transform heat into other forms of energy. Unless you need heat right away (to stay warm) any heat energy is essentially wasted

Tell me, if not by transforming heat, then how is electricity generated?

You obviously don't live in Iceland, where 25% of the power is geothermal. Try this for starters: Geothermal electricity

IMHO ASIC Farms surely will end up trying to recovery some of their operation cost by using their waste heat for District Heating ops as some Data Centers already did. As any of you surely knows ASIC farms cooling is a issue and they're already engaging in a competition to be more efficient on dissipating excess heat from their equipments. District Heating is done also with the waste hot water from (Thermo)Nuclear Power plants as in Swiss' Kernkraftwerk Beznau.

How often do you clean your computer?

I clean all of the dust out of my system probably every 6 months.  Having a case with dust screens in the front has helped keep the inside cleaner than previous cases.

I clean my own on an "as needed" basis; however, it may end up being every month.
1689  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best antivirus? on: October 03, 2014, 05:41:53 AM
The best antivirus is to use all the free anti virus available online. But you will need a powerful cpu.

Running multiple antiviruses at once is detrimental to your own security. No one suggests that. Run ONLY ONE good antivirus and it will suffice.

If the virus can survive in weeks, that is really alarming.
Might just go online shopping, but how about the delivery staff or the ones who packed the orders? Tongue

Wait 3 weeks before opening your package!  Grin

They are handling logistics in an austere environment, which they have a lot of expertise at.

I Agree. IMHO it seems a low-cost solution with little political drawback. US forces have been there since the end of the 90s conducting cooperative training with local forces there. I suppose this TF to end up like a West Africa Training Cruise exercise. WATC included medical professionals from the U.S. Navy's Medical Department. US Army provided support to civil authorities in Southeast Asia, Japan, Philippines before United Assistance - Ebola Relief supporting West Africa civil authorities as directed by DOD & President Obama.

Is the U.S. Military trying to intimidate Bitcoin users?

Do you have any evidence to post below?

For complete  information and understanding, We should ask also: "Is the U.S. Military NOT trying to intimidate Bitcoin users? Do you have any evidence to post below?", and "Is the U.S. Military trying to promote Bitcoins?". Seriously, Bitcoins are not their business so they may look at them only if they suits their missions. E.g. when looking for the financing of Insurgents, etc.

Who has the authority to block people?

The global mods and the administrators , it is necessary for prevent the any type of spam Wink .

Shouldnt the Off Topic forum be removed? Or they just pick on certain people? Cause even though my thread was off topic it was constructive. Hmm will i be banned again for this thread?

Mine were mostly in the Off-topic subforum. A few were in other threads but related to the topics. Maybe point of contention was about a referral link so I asked why deleting the post instead of editing it. End result was 3 days ban. Nevertheless, I got the message no complain ever and follow the rules as written.

1696  Local / Trading, analisi e speculazione / Re: [TRADING][SPECULAZIONE][ANALISI] DOGE/BTC: To the moon? on: October 01, 2014, 06:13:25 AM

1697  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Random 0.00001 BTC from Laxo Trade? on: October 01, 2014, 04:35:20 AM
Actually got one dust payment of 0.1 mBTC on my profile's BTC address.

Seriously, you could just copy and paste 10k addresses, they would pick them up, Im sure they are just scraping the site and paying varied amounts. The most ive seen is .0002 I think. They can send those to me all day long, might not be much now, but in 10 years, it might be a few hundred bucks, lol.... Other groups are starting to do this as well. one that I dont want to receive has the initals CP, you can figure it out, their sig starts out 1cpXXX or something.. Im thinking about sending what they sent me back with a note, "not interested" but that just might cause them to send me more..Thats something that should be implemented some time.. a way to block addresses.

Has anyone gotten a payment from an address posted on the forum but that has never had money sent to it? From reports of others that have received payments to change addresses, I think that they might be getting addresses from the blockchain and not scraping this site.
[..]

Yes. The 0.1 mBTC payment on my profile's BTC address was on a never used before one.

There were many questions here and PMs about how I made so many addresses, so I figured I would write and share a Python program everyone can use to make addresses and use it to spam up the forum so Laxo trade sends their money where it can actually be spent.

Not a good idea to be telling people how to do this otherwise this forum will be full of newbs spamming up the place with addresses  Grin.

Noobs get no BTC or a useless 1 satoshi from these guys anyway.

That's not going to stop them spamming addresses  Cheesy. I got 0.0001 from this and I think some Full Members or Snrs even got 0.001.

They seems to not consider ranking/activity but post count instead. I got as much dust as one Member but my Ranking is still Newbie. Nevertheless i'll follow deepceleron approach to try to validate my idea about their using post count instead of ranking activity; so, I put a few 360 BTC addresses to check if they receive the same 0,1 mBTC of a Member or the 1 satoshi as the Noobs.  Cool

http://denaro.it/blog/2014/09/25/derivati-5-banche-usa-sono-esposte-per-40-mila-miliardi-di-dollari-ciascuna/
A quel punto, BTC to the moon...

Sinceramente,

http://www.panorama.it/economia/bail-in-il-salvataggio-da-dentro-che-mette-in-fuga-i-capitali/

Cool
