No such "latest version" because there is no "official fork". You need to do a little research based on the algorithm you are going to mine.
I want to mine groestl Plus I want to know typical one line start command to mine groestl. Have a look here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=779598.0

The wallets created with the old client are compatible with the new one. Bdb version is even the same. If it's corrupted, that's another thing altogether. About BTC38, again, I'm in contact with them and the solution to their problem is a full blockchain. Here is why I'm building one :-)

I believe that the full blockchain snapshot I am building will fix their issue. It will be ready in some days.
Hey pallas, what block are you at now? I had to revert back 100K blocks, I'm at ~1.2M now.

looking up an exchange address on the explorer may give unexpected results.
i deposit 235 000 on my exchange-address and i see 235000 XCN in block-explorer. But do not see my old amount. I'm shocked. At the BTER on the contrary: There is an old amount, but there is no new deposit what amount did you see on the explorer for the exchange address before depositing? looks like they are two distinct addresses.

Faced with such a problem.
On the BTER I had some amount XCN. Today i deposited another amount.
Now, at my BTER-address _in_the_block-explorer_ is displayed only the amount that I deposited today.
On the BTER is displayed only the amount that was _before_ today. That is, the old deposit and the new amount are not summed up.
The support page does not work.

Nicehash, why dont you create an option NOT to auto-sell coins we mine? Is that doable for you? This is the only reason I m reluctant to use your software since prices of most prominent mine-able coins does fluctuate a lot.
Nicehash is not a pool, they can't control that. What the buyer does with the mined coins, only he knows.

I don't like cryptopia, they fake their volumes. If we want to be in a smaller exchange, I suggest Novaexchange.

I've submitted the crash fix to github. It deals with a rare situation, but it may have been the root of most of the problems people are reporting recently. Who is using a self compiled wallet can try it, please. Will update the win binary as soon as possible, and when I feel confident ;-)

OTC trade possible?

Why not? PM sent.

Sync from scratch (i.e. with an empty datadir) should take about an hour. Unless you interrupt it :-) Try clearing your datadir, you can keep wallet.dat.

I can confirm that the alexis78 btc account is legitimate (99%).

So is this old coin getting refreshed? Is there a place where we can talk about it? Slack maybe?

nanashi version added warp shuffle (which is not trivial and a very good speed improvement, even though probably not his own idea). his sources has always been open, but nicehash chose to pay him anyway. nodoby compiles for compute 6.1 because it's slower: pascal cards run just fine with compute 5.2.

250K blocks to go :-)
That's pretty close. Any news from Bittrex? No, they don't talk a lot I just sent them another message, let's see if I can get to know what they are doing about XCN.

Hey pallas, I'm currently woring towards setting up another vserver that supports Docker, as that tech sounds very interesting. Haven't used it yet though. Do you think it would be possible for you to create a docker container for the wallet? That would make deploying that wallet a lot easier for everybody else to use, too. If not, I'm happy to do it, too - just takes a little longer. Just wanted to get an opinion on the idea in general. Anything problematic coming to mind here? There seem to be plenty containers for the bitcoind wallet out there: https://store.docker.com/search?q=bitcoin&source=community&type=imageI have no experience with docker, sorry. But the idea looks cool!
