1701  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to collect BTC ?? on: July 07, 2016, 03:17:41 AM
If you're just starting out you should try faucetbox.com. Although it's not the best or efficient way to get bitcoins, it's good to have a feel at the start to own some bitcoins yourself.

Right, someone just starting his journey with bitcoin should just stick to faucets as he cannot do anything else and even if he tries to do something else he will end up confusing himself as he has no much knowledge about bitcoin.
I actually not recommend faucets not just it is a waste of time but you would not explore more and understand the real value of bitcoin, we should explore the benefits in using it than focusing your time solving or playing games for a little amount of bitcoin.

For me to collect bitcoin or at least earn bitcoin itself is to join in the signature campaign you just need to have more patience and motivation to do it more. This will somehow help you along the way what are this bitcoins and what are other things that you can get from it..

Signature campaign is a good way to earn bitcoin, but don't rely on it. You must also have other ways of earning bitcoin. And you could try to do trading.
The earnings you get from sig campaign, you can use it for your capital in trading.
I actually don' make a trading coming from my earning in signature campaign because that is just a small amount considering the pay daily, we need to invest something from our personal wallet if we want some real actions.
1702  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: July 07, 2016, 03:16:29 AM
I think the usage of paper money was decreasing in the future, many people now are using credit cards, debit cards etc., using electronics currency, and now we facing to the world of bitcoin as an  e- currency , you can buy a things using bitcoin and may be in the near future you can buy anything using bitcoin only.Of course, rarely do any of us walk into Starbucks with a $5 bill anymore. We walk in with a credit card, or a Starbucks gift card, or with an Apple Pay app on our iPhone. And that’s another way money has changed.
Exactly, that is why the future is more on digital adoption because it is very easy to transact online and we can save the cost. However, since the total population in the world cannot adopt all as we also have countries that was not modernize yet so paper money will still exist.
1703  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: July 07, 2016, 02:59:15 AM
Investing can be done right now but the price is pretty high so its not the best option in my eyes.
I would just save up some money and wait on a better price honestly.
Just think that the price will not go down again because it will continue to rise, this is the year of bitcoin and probably we can hit the $1,000 by the end of the year because of Halving.

This is what I'm doing and thinking right now. I'm always thinking that the price is not going to drop again.
But instead I'm thinking that price of bitcoin is going to increase again and again.
Investing is the best venture for now as the opportunity only happens once, this halving will bring the price to move positively and if you do not have the guts to risk and investment any amount you will be left behind.
1704  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin continuous rising? on: July 07, 2016, 02:54:10 AM
Now it's just stable cause halving is really close, 2 days and we will get the answer, at my opinion smart guys in China will make price increase much more Grin

Yes exactly, it is getting its balance to get to higher amount after the halving happens. Hopefully those whales will make the price of bitcoin is going to increase it as much as $1,000
I just hope it would not be whales who can do that because the price would not be stable if that is the case, they can easily make the price go down so that they can create panic selling.
1705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: July 07, 2016, 02:50:12 AM
I agree with OP. Everyone losses in the long run, especially on dice sites or casino games that have provably fair, but if you have big bankroll, you can go long run on it.
yes it a fact. i think every one know about this. buts still no one can still quit gambling. they have so many examples in front of them. but still they believe that they can earn from gambling and in the end they do advise to other to not to do gambling.

This is what you called gamble addiction and hypocrisy LOL.  Anyway yes gambling will let you win at the beginning to trigger your inner greed and fortify your belief that "you can win next round".  With the successful method of doing so, you ended up losing all at the long run.  House EDGE kicks in, 20 x lose in a row and still believing you will win next time LOL.
Yeah you are not going to win in the long run because that is just almost impossible to do.
I also have lost many more times then that I won so I have learned my lesson.
Winning in the long run is what most gamblers experience but not everyone losses in the long run, it matters on the games we play and if it has a house advantage the title would only apply, but skilled base games will give us a good chance to win.
Yup in base skill games we have a lot of chance to win our bet in the long run. But here we have to care very full, and we have to be very quick in the game. And also in sports betting you can make longer term win but here sometimes we see some unpredict result, but it is ok this will not happen daily. So here also you can make long term win.

In any aspect of gambling only the house has the favor on it. If you are going to realize that then that's the reason why everyone is losing always in the long run.
It is better to stay away from gambling and avoid your gambling pleasures.

Not all aspects. There's sports betting in which you can choose which lines to bet on. If you're a good sports analyst you could gain an edge. Poker is the same thing, you can also gain an edge by various strategies. In Black Jack you can count cards and gain the edge in your favor.
I agree with your, sports betting which is very popular until now can give us a good advantage to win, the thing is we have a time to get all the necessary information of a certain match which could be the basis of our analysis that we cannot get it doing dice.
1706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: July 07, 2016, 02:47:58 AM
WAVES is no. 1 for volume again on Bittrex.  Poloniex still not adding.  Very strange.

On a side note but related to their strange behaviour.  NAV was recently upgraded to V2.0 blockchain.  Polo ignored requests for upgrade from the Devs.  Once most users had upgraded to the new blockchain (about 6 weeks ago) - NAV V1.0 started getting pumped on Polo (at one point it was over x10 price and x 10 volume compared to the official NAV 2.0).  They are still ignoring the NAV dev teams requests to upgrade.  Again very strange behaviour.

I hope WAVES doesn't take too long to launch the decentralised exchange because I'm really starting to lose faith in the competence of Poloniex.

I have noticed this kind of odd and inconsistent behaviour before.

It seems once altcoin exchanges reach a certain level of success it goes to their heads (Mintpal, Cryptsy etc.) and they gradually slip into financial mismanagement, unsafe practices, outright scamming, or all of the aforementioned - this strange behaviour certainly doesn't bode well for them.

I hope it is just a blip and we end up learning that there was a reasonable explanation for it - I will certainly be keeping a more cautious eye on them though.

Edit: I also hope I'm completely off base here and everything is fine at Polo as do like trading there.

Polo wants the full node code.

You also notice all these trash coins getting pumped lately on Polo?
We will surely witness waves to be added in polo, if they do not add waves it would be their lose not waves, still even if no major exchanges will add but if the project will prove that they are something big we can see a good improvement. Look DAO being added in polo but still the price does not move that much.
1707  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin worth to you or not... on: July 06, 2016, 07:15:00 AM
Yes the bitcoin is worth it for me because of the fact that the bitcoin is gonna rise to a higher amount.
Investing is really worth it and it has a great future a head with all these advantages.

Right, bitcoin is really worth for us by just waiting for the price increase for sure we are going to benefit it and that's for real.
What ever you are going to do with your bitcoins it is going to be beneficial except gambling and investing on scam sites.
Exactly, even when the price will not rise that much it would still be worth for me, with bitcoins being stable it can give me a lot of opportunities to earn and you would also improve your life learning the investing part later on when you have the savings already.
1708  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: July 06, 2016, 07:05:43 AM
Firstly OP are you sure btc will be there for next 20 years?
Secondly your government will not ban the btc for next 20 years?
Thirdly if it exits and your country allows it will it have more value then your purchase price?

I guess that bitcoin will always be there and it will not be gone. And I think the government is going to adopt bitcoins.
So it means that bitcoin is not going to be ban by the government.
We hope to see that because the government are already aware of bitcoins and in fact they are monitoring it due to this currency can be use for money laundering so if they cannot beat this they would adopt with bitcoin.
1709  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: July 06, 2016, 07:01:23 AM
Bitcoin is a long term game unless you were a insanely lucky super early 2010 adopter. If you were not, then you will have to wait to get rich, just like the buyers of apple, google and so on stocks, had to wait like 10 years to get really rich.

Exactly cannot expect to get rich overnight with bitcoin, its an time consuming process but the results would be surely positive so collecting as much coins at a moment is the right thing to do.
No one get rich overtime in investment, you can only do that when you are rich already and you make your self more richer. The very own technique to be rich here is have patience, patience to hold your bitcoins a longer time.

All of you seem really convinced that bitcoin will raise to the moon in next years, but I can't see any guarantee of that anywhere. It is good to save some bitcoins as a portfolio investment, but you also should think about the possibility of diversifying your investments instead of depending exclusively on one asset.

You can't see the effect of it? For sure it is already happening and we are experiencing it already. But it is better to invest for a long term.
By just holding your bitcoin in your wallet so when ever the price increased then you are going to get profit.

you can't predict the moon this easily and it can even take a lot longer time that you have imagined but the existence of it is no questions. the rise will happen eventually even if it takes a couple of years and an slow rise but it will rise up to 2000-3000 one day.

I think the price of $2k is possible in this year may be around October or November, price will start rising as we get near to end of the year as when price will fall after halving we will see many new users entering into market.

And if that happens that the price of bitcoin is going to be $2k at all by the end of the year. It is better if you are going to add more bitcoins to your long term investment.
If you are only going to put 1 btc at a long term investment that is really not enough.
$2,000 is just a very conservative estimate because we will rich the optimum price in the future and to tell you, the real winners are only those people who choose to hold longer than those who dump when they see the price is favorable in their part.
1710  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go back to bellow $400? on: July 06, 2016, 06:57:04 AM
I do not know, we can not guess the price of bitcoin, especially at this price point is very difficult to predict bitcoin. it could happen, because bitcoin prices tend to be unstable, but I guess it will not happen in the near future, and I feel that the price of bitcoin is currently developing ride. so for the moment we do not have to worry about the price of $ 400
You are right, our concern now should be the price to rise in the future and that should be in the mind of every investor so he can purchase at the current price, we should think that price will reach $1,000 this year.
1711  Economy / Economics / Re: Next generation money on: July 06, 2016, 06:47:25 AM
The total majority of Bitcoin holders think of their favorite toy as the next step in the evolution of money (less so for active users). I don't deny the technological innovation in respect to the blockchain and the decentralized nature of how new money is created through mining. With that said, I still don't think that Bitcoin did actually revolutionize the concept of money itself. Gold as money existed long before fiat, and it was "created" in a decentralized way too, so nothing particularly new here as well...

I have an idea what could be an entirely new form of money (actually, it is not my idea), but first I would like to hear from you, guys (and gals), what you think about the truly new money that is yet to be invented or implemented

Bitcoin may replace the paper money someday in the future. Many experts have been into study as to how it will be implemented. With the current trend it will not be possible since it will need the cooperation from the government. Bitcoin today is independent from government regulations. But if we want bitcoins to be a legal tender it must surrender itself to the laws, monitoring and policies of the government.
bitcoin will surely replace the paper money in the future,i think we will see some big increases in its price because of that,i hope that it will give us all some decent profit easily, though thats just my guess
Thinking that it will replace paper money is too ambitious in my opinion, paper money are designed by government and you need to get the support of the government first to regulate bitcoins.
1712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I invest in bitcoin casinos? on: July 06, 2016, 06:42:10 AM
Yes it was a pretty impressive gain but you won't get gains like that everyday. Plus there is also a risk associated with it.
If you are investing in an online casino you don't expect profit daily because no one can give you that, what matters is by the time you withdraw you are in profit and there is a great possibility to be profitable investing in online casinos than playing.
1713  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Investments on: July 06, 2016, 06:35:17 AM
For me I recommend lending, you can give loans here on this forum or invest on p2p lending sites like btcjam , etc. You can also try your luck on gambling or investing on HYIPs though it's not recommended.

Wow. You just copy-pasted the whole thing! Why are you doing this? To gain activities?
These flooders should not have been allowed to enter the forums.
He has no idea what he is doing, he can be ban if anyone reported him for doing some kind of spamming.
1714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: July 06, 2016, 06:24:40 AM
You can earn allot of money with gambling but for that to happen you will have to play games like poker that require some skill, if you are going to play games that require only luck then you are not going to make it.
So do not think that you are going to become a millionaire by playing roulette all day.

the problem is the risk that it is going to take if you want to win money from gambling. this risk is very high and that is why gambling is a bad way of using bitcoin if you are looking for a profit. a lot of these games like dice are designed in a way that lets the house win and make you lose so the earning is always smaller.
Not smaller absolutely nothing that can lose all your balance.. gambling made only to give entertainment to people not to make profit.. so if you are looking for a profit better to offer in services section with your skills.. to make a profit with you skills..
Or if you really want to stay with gambling but you are not having a winning record, you simply put your money in the gambling sites that accepts investment, less risky for you and you are guaranteed to win.
Compare to gambling investment is far better but here also some risk is there if anything happened and your invested site will be closed suddenly means all investment will go in a single shot. But gambling is instant money lose here there is a possibility are there to make a profit and also lose. Many chances are missed only so choosing is our risk. I am not earned much profit I gambling, but it sometimes helps for my personal use.
I think that is the only risk in putting your money as investment in gambling because you all have the advantage to win and grow your money consistently, you need to select the most trusted sites in that situation.
1715  Other / Off-topic / Re: Any safe way to grow my bitcoins ? on: July 06, 2016, 06:21:11 AM
There are allot of ways to grow your bitcoins there is not just one way to  get bitcoins or create them there are like hundred ways to earn bitcoins or
get bitcoins. The easiest thing was mining but the halving will affect that allot.

Their are lot of ways to earn bitcoin the question their is by how? And that is the puzzle they need to solve because their so many different programs their wheter you pay or not we can still money and all we need to do is to be more researchfull dont really on people tells you where you can earn because some other suggestion is scam or troll thats why theirs google and this furom so we can have some leads to different types of them and we will educated on where we can earn and avoid to be scam.
The OP is implying that he has a bitcoins already but he wants to grow it, however it can be noted that there is no safe way to grow your bitcoins and you need to take the risk in order to grow your bitcoins and even the rich people take risk to become richer so why can't we.
1716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: July 06, 2016, 06:10:09 AM
Bet as if you are ready to loose in case you do will not effect you. Consider it was a fun and entertainment fees you paid for. If you win keep that extra money for your mom-dad birthday anniversary gifts to buy.
Very direct answer, if we only think that way everytime we bet we can always be safe in gambling, we can avoid being addicted and we will not be greedy in gambling which is the main reason why we wreck our life.
speaking by yourself kabayan? hahaha I think it is easy saying this but in real time if you don't have proper mind set you will easily foget about the goal playing any gambling is addicted you don't know it but you already infected of addiction keeps saying that it is just for fun and the money is just a small amount but you already stuck on it and keep playing for pleasure well I think if you can control that's the smart way gambling.
Majority of the gamblers are easily addicted and that happens because of our status in life, we like to make money in the easiest and fastest thing, but if you ever experience that and you have lose a lot what matters most is you learn from your mistakes.
1717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: July 06, 2016, 06:03:46 AM
i found my self broke because gambling
i found my life in a mess because gambling

but because gambling too suddenly rich, suddenly be a billionaire
because gambling too you know what it is the real have fun

how about you?

is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life?
It's very difficult to always win in gambling so accept that you will receive more lost than wins. Even you win that's not means you will be rich with your winning learn how to stop before loosing more and put money in gambling that you can only afford to lose. Need skills and luck to win more in gambling and always remember not all day is lucky day.

Well you are right it is just like a 10/90. 10% chance of winning and 90% chance of losing.
Always the house is the winner. And in the end it will just burn out your money and make you lose daily.

That is not always like that, why the percentage of winning is only 10%? Meanwhile house 90% that is not making any sense, so how about people that you saw winning a lot of btc? I think you never win before because you are may be greedy or even let your anger overcome you thats why you can said that thing. What I know gambling is depends on your luck, may be there is house edge but you can overcome through it with some luck so it is possible to win too
LOL! someones being judgmental here, we do lose all and my experience is I even had the worst but I did not quit gambling because in a span of time with the help of my family I was able to cure my addiction and betting for fun now.
1718  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: July 06, 2016, 05:58:25 AM
I think Paper money is more important and will be there however the digitization has started to take place. Everywhere there will be some people who don't have interest over the digitization.
Although we are going digital but it cannot disrupt the market of paper money, the government supported paper money and they created it so they will not allow bitcoins to replace it.
1719  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: July 06, 2016, 05:52:58 AM
Hello All,

What you think is the best investment to gain steady income in btc without actively doing anything?
So no trading/gambling/loaning etc.

Steady income more likely to be 'small & secure' than 'big & risky'.

Thanks,
BR Oinas
i wouldnt do any of your named methods in order to have a steady income with bitcoins because most of them will make you lose money and not make any profit at all with the investment

in my opinion the best idea to make a lot of profit at the moment would be to just buy a lot of bitcoins and hold it all for the upcoming price growths that will happen because of the halving event

I totally agree with lester.. If you want the safest way is to buy more bitcoins and sell it in the future.. For everyone else, majority seems agreeing that bitcoin price will rise during halving - these kind of events are good ways to earn from selling bitcoins when it goes to your desirable price high.
Yeah, we all want for the price to be high here and for me this is a good venture because we were able to determine the outcome in a short period of time, we have to use our gamblers attitude here and we will surely have a benefits.
1720  Economy / Economics / Re: How good are you at managing your money on: July 06, 2016, 03:02:37 AM
I'm bad with mine  Cry Cry Cry (cars, girls & restaurants).

But very good with other's money (because i earn from mamaging money Smiley Smiley Smiley )
I am also pretty bad in managing money, I buy way to much food for sometimes for no reason. When ever I get paid I feel like I can do anything that I want but that mindset is wrong.
Even if you just received money at that moment you should already think about saving.
it is okay if you buy food but don't waste it for the nonsense thing like drinking alcohol , hangouts with friends or other thing that makes your money waste.
Alcohols could be bad for you but for me it gives me the benefits to relax, I work hard doing full time jobs and side job with bitcoin and only alcohol would give me time to relax and relieve my stress.
