Lift off?

Observing $11,659 on the 1 minute (2 minutes ago) candle.

That was a nice leg up. Looks like itll rest here but should push to 12k soon.

Seems that "we" should not be making rash judgements based on one-minute candles.   Wink

This is based on 9 years of 1 minute candles Smiley

whips off socks and does quick calculation...   525600 x 9 = 4,730,400‬minutes

that a whole lotta minutes...dang son

Belated grats to toxic on legendary upgrade.
Goddamn!! This thread is populated by/promotes more legends than you can shake a stick at.

When smerits where implemented I believe I was just under the threshold for member status...missed out on the bonus rank smerits. I have been gifted almost every smerit needed to reach this exalted rank.

Extremely honored.

True.
But it's pronounced like "kung fu", just a little different "king fu" and in reverse "fu-king"  Grin
There are also funny places which have meaningful names when spoken by english speakers, for example "Rain" (pronounced like "rhine").
"Rust" (pronounced like "roost")

and so on...

EDIT: Back again, wife's spine is quite fine again, but i bruised my wrist and thumb a week ago. Painful that is, but managed to avoided my left hand getting casted by taping my thumb to my index finger. Living mostly right-handed at the time, everything takes double the time and so i am busy all day long, getting half the things done.
Greetings to my fellow observers  Grin

Ok, they open the skull, insert a chip with electrodes, but WTF it does?
The pig with implant is shy and does not want to come out, investigating something away from the camera.
Conclusion: ?

that implant.. will it allow us to control nubile young females to grant our every desire?

No it will send you to reconditioning for thinking of it.

well if its reconditioning by said nubile young females... hmmmm

What if "reconditioning" involves extracting your groinal probe from the VCR?

I don't see why people deem themselves to be the judge of others.

We are all empirically fallible.

Such a shame. George Harrison was right.

Sure.  Honestly though, there's a rather large difference between poking a salad fork into your dessert and doing something like this -

or this

edit: damn!  Never poke a salad fork into your desert.
edit2: guilty of empirical fallibility

Amazing artwork xHomerx10!  As usual.   Smiley

You are obviously in pain and seem to be exhibiting signs of schizophrenia or a serious bipolar condition. You need help buddy.

the noon wall report at 1pm

Definitely a intense battle out there today as bitcoin hovers above short term resistance at $11,433.77

Bulls currently have the upper hand with bitcoin trading around $11,512.56

Bears still have just over 4 hours until the closing bell today to muster a counter assault into rising support. We must continue to remain vigilant gentlemen.

I thought it would be interesting to have a thread collating info regarding the heavyweight players entering Bitcoinland as I expect it to be a trend that's going to ramp up rapidly and these things often get lost in the noise.

Here's one to get the ball rolling - https://www.forbes.com/sites/michaeldelcastillo/2020/08/26/fidelity-president-files-for-new-bitcoin-fund

Fidelity have just filed for a new fund dedicated to Bitcoin. Few details as of yet but the train is clearly considering leaving the station.

What have you spotted out there?

do we have IMOsMerits here?

anyway....

+1 for the thread concept...I find this fascinating.

-------

Its hard to gauge institutional interest much of the time as I think most will take a position long before any type of announcement...for obvious reasons I would say.

That being said I do find it interesting that www.nasdaq.com has a entire page devoted to bitcoin(they are calling it cryptocurrencies but I think we all know what they mean)

https://www.nasdaq.com/news-and-insights/topic/markets/cryptocurrencies

A couple of articles of note.

https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/energy-giant-equinor-to-cut-gas-flaring-with-bitcoin-mining%3A-report-2020-08-28
Quote
Equinor is a state-owned multinational based in Norway and ranked as the 11th largest oil and gas firm globally.

This multinational is funding https://www.crusoeenergy.com/ and their DFM or digital flare mitigation technology.

https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/crusoe-energy-systems-announces-70-million-in-funding-for-expansion-of-digital-flare-mitigation-services-300970514.html

A interesting application and I can tell you from first hand experience that there are many many flare stacks out there.

This illustrates how I believe things will play out with many institutions at first. They will try to enter on the edges...into developing markets that can generate a position without directly purchasing large amouts OTC or on exchange. Others will pile on and a cascade event is likely to happen imo. Its only a matter of time.

As for cracking the 256 bit encoding it would be child's play if this was the matrix and we were being tricked into thinking 256 bit encoding was real.

It would also be easy to crack if  magic was real. Both are out of the box problem solves.

But given  the rules that we have it is not going to happen any time soon as both the matrix and Harry Potter are considered to be simple fiction.

further wall theory

so yesterday the bids were around 67 million...sometime between then and now...it dropped to 57 million and those three steps have been removed         thats the 9.8 million I was pointing out

the slope and shape of the ask(red) side has changed from a wedge shape to become more vertical    when the asks are chasing price downwards..you see that shape as the asks 'dig' into the bid walls

you see the same when the price is moving upwards..the bid wall will slope downwards into a more wedge like shape as buyers chase price up

when the walls are vertical it usually means price has been discovered and buyers and sellers are content trading around the spread(the gap in price between bids and asks)

you will sometimes see the wall setup from yesterday when a whale wants to accumulate more coins...they will set large bids and then start selling, driving the price down into their bids

there are many scenarios but perhaps you can see my thought process a bit more clearly now
