1721  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Whirlwind.money | ⚡No Fee⚡ | Ultimate Privacy | Anonymity Mining 12% APR🔥 on: June 14, 2023, 08:16:39 PM
Hi, not for us at least. Both clearnet and Tor seem to work fine. We will post another message in the next hours with a more in-depth response to all the discussions in the topic and what we've been working on during the past weeks.

Edit: Just noticed our Clearnet server provider is doing infrastructure upgrades until midnight CET time, so 2 hours left. Tor is still accessible during this time.

Clearnet is also down with me, only the Cloudflare page with the "Error code 525" message. Maybe you should check your SSL settings there.

Quote
Background Error 525 indicates that the SSL handshake between Cloudflare and the origin web server failed. This only occurs when the domain is using Cloudflare Full or Full (Strict) SSL mode.

btw. TOR is running regularly.
1722  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What are the analogues of the site BestChange? on: June 14, 2023, 03:56:04 PM
As indicated in the header, I am looking for a trusted site where I can choose the best exchange rates and the best exchanger for myself.

I have know several similar services, but I don't know why they mostly offer only the Russian version. Or maybe I didn't manage to find the EN (or any other) version of the site
Some example:
https://exchangesumo.com/ (RU only)
https://e-mon.ru/  (RU only)
https://glazok.org/  (RU only)
https://rates.guru/  (a good part of the site is in ENG, although it is obviously aimed at the needs of the Russian market)
https://www.okchanger.com/  (EN)

note: This is not my direct recommendation for using these services, it is just a simple list of similar monitoring services.

BestChange that's the only current well-known and trusted one.

I would agree with this statement here, however, Best_Change has gained a positive reputation (at least on this forum), so I have seen no reason to take risks with other services.
1723  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex to shut its U.S operations on: June 14, 2023, 12:50:35 PM
I'll leave this here in case anyone has funds stuck on Bittrex.
From Thursday, it will be possible to withdraw funds from the Bittrex exchange.

Quote
The U.S. arm of crypto exchange Bittrex is set to open for customer withdrawals Thursday following a ruling by a Delaware bankruptcy court

1724  Economy / Reputation / Re: Reference thread for flag on fake lending service. on: June 14, 2023, 12:30:55 PM
I would almost completely agree with DireWolfM14's statement, maybe this whole discussion wasn't necessary after that
There are no loans being given out here.  This "lender" is just a troll with a lot of alt accounts, using them to talk to himself.  Scammers have tried this kind of thing multiple times; he'll pretend to give himself a loan, then use his alts to leave positive reviews for his own accounts.  It's an effort to feign activity and trust.

What I would add, we have often seen Newbies complain that they can't get a loan and that they are discriminated against here in that way. I also think that this is not the first time that a super lender appears and given loans exclusively to newbies.
It is quite possible that it is not even an attempt to build a fake reputation, but just trolling.

If it's difficult to determine if the lending is fake, the alternative is to prove that the accounts involved are controlled by one person. That alone is enough reason to leave tags on them.
You cannot pretend to enter into transaction with your alts. That is an attempt to deceive the forum members.

We cannot make any special conclusions about alt accounts, because they are mostly beginners without any history that would indicate any connection.
1725  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit disables account and seizes funds (10.2k)! on: June 14, 2023, 12:10:36 PM
It looks like the community does not have interest in this case anymore nor interest in the flag created.

The community is certainly interested in the positive closure of such cases. It is not always easy to make a decisive decision, especially on the basis of very little evidence (I'm speaking in general, not just for this case) that is presented.
Likewise, I have not seen a valid explanation or any proof from Rollbit for the account suspension.

Seems I have no other choice but to go to the licensor directly for this case as Rollbit still won't provide me any further details. Quite sad it has come to this point, as i have not heard of anyone be successful through this method with their specific license they hold.

Thank you to all who have helped me and given their time to provide input and suggestions towards this case.

Did you do anything about this?
The higher instance for casinos still has much more power compared to the forum community
1726  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: UNLOCK CRYPTO ACCOUNTS. RETURN OF STOLEN CRYPTO on: June 14, 2023, 11:39:31 AM
In this 3 hours long program, the expert speaker, a founder and CEO of StarCompliance.io - Taras Podgorodetskiy, will share vital insights on crypto security.

Taras Podgorodetskiy seems like someone who pretends to be an expert in various fields. I find them as founder of Timedom – Ukrainian service of apartments rentals and currently CEO @ UA-Valley.com link
Both timedom & UA-Valley.com services are dead.
Can bloggers consider themselves experts in any field, when they have almost no personal experience?

Return of the jedi is more expected than the return of stolen crypto, I could save everyone 150 AED on how to keep your crypto safe, just use a cold wallet and you'd be Ok.

This sounded like "Return of the jedi" to me too.  Cheesy
I would say this is just an innovative way for a restaurant to sell some food.
The talk starts at 6 p.m., on Thursday, June 15th at the restaurant 📍 Gaia, Dubai
Note: The minimum spend rule in the venue is 150 AED.

1727  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why Bitcoin an exceptional figure among other coins on: June 14, 2023, 10:31:44 AM
The reason while bitcoin is different or exceptional to others cryptocurrency is that Bitcoin is father of all cryptocurrency and it has a reputation, that's while it's very difficult before you can see a coin that's higher and have more potentials than bitcoin, so I believe that i will not  say that altcoins can overtake bitcoin in future,  because without increment of bitcoin other altcoins will not have positive ways, so therefore I believe that bitcoin is master of all cryptocurrencies

Sometimes I am surprised how some people have a wrong understanding of the entire crypto industry. Reading what the OP says, it would not be strange if he thinks that Bitcoin was created based on the idea of the Shiba token.
1728  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Duelbits, $500,000 scam alert. on: June 13, 2023, 10:27:01 PM
i'm in 80-100k$ minus, and wagered over 40kk$ with 2,5kk deposits, what are you talking about mixing??? i'm withdraw some money and then again deposit, i'm gambler.
i sent them all what they want and anyway NO UPDATE hhaha

Any casino can be used for money laundering. It is enough to deposit dirty money, and play a few games (depending on whether there are wagering restrictions). When you withdraw the same money, it is already considered a gambling win. In a way, that money is no longer illegal.
I just wanted to bring this up, as a possible reason for additional KYC checks.

If you are a regular gambler, I think you shouldn't have a problem with Duelbits, considering their reputation so far. However, keep in mind that half a million is a serious amount and any mistake here is expensive.

OP, if I may ask, I assume that you used other casinos before, did you also play with large amounts and maybe get banned or excluded from any of them for any reason?
1729  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: WorkasPro | Blockchain-Based Freelancing Platform | Fiverr Alternative | No KYC on: June 13, 2023, 04:11:28 PM
For some reason, I have some IDEA tokens on the Kucoin exchange. I almost forgot about it (been staking for a long time). Sincerely, I thought this story was dead, looking at the market. This caught my attention

WorkAsPro is part of Ideaology.io, a company based in Dubai. The website is new and we are currently working on marketing it.

Is it just a cosmetic change and rebranding of the website or is it a complete change of the management team of the entire project?

Quote
There are no fees other than this 8%, and if you pay in the native project currency (IDEA (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ideaology/)), there are 0% fees.

Can you clarify a little about what exactly you offer for these 8% fees?
Perhaps you could explain the mechanisms of how you will ensure that every deal concluded on your site is satisfactory for both parties. (I know about some such disadvantages of similar platforms).
1730  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which is the best board to focus on as a newbie in the forum? on: June 13, 2023, 04:00:48 PM
I'm beginning to understand the forum better by the day, but I'm still under a learning process, cause we learn everyday and I'm big on receiving advise from older members
I find it easier to post on gambling, economics, politics and several others, but I want to know which board to focus more on as a newbie, what's your say on this? I'm open to learning from your opinions.

The term "newbie" should be clarified first. Someone can be a newbie here on the forum, but that doesn't mean that he is a complete beginner when we talk about Bitcoin things. It is not a rare case that someone, although he registered later on the forum, has more knowledge in a certain area than some natives.
Also, there is no universal rule here about which part of the forum can be more attractive for you (or anyone else). The advantage is that we have a fairly large volume of different topics, so everyone can find a part that suits their interests.
1731  Other / Meta / Re: [Bitcointalk Party - Discord sv] Bitcoin Pizza bake-off contest! Enter by June 1 on: June 13, 2023, 03:47:28 PM
That's the saddest part here, that we even need rules like (for the sake of the argument let's say I believe your story)  "don't tell your friends to make Discord accounts just so they can vote for you". What happened to good sportsmanship?

Yes, you're right there are no rules... but a curiosity of which sportsmanship are we talking about?  I note with pleasure that once again the accounts I mentioned and at least those of the previous days such as June 6, 7 are not considered.  So were we both wrong to ask our friends for votes?

Even if there are no strict rules, the saddest part is that someone is ready to do dishonourable actions to deceive such a friendly and generous contest. At the same time, we are talking about almost symbolic awards, should we have a special committee that will investigate potential abuses here?
Does every good initiative have to be ruined by greed for $50?
1732  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Z Empire controls Kyrgyzstan , We can escape only with Blockchain on: June 12, 2023, 09:53:02 PM
I cant live another way. I see Blockchain Technology is the only way to be Independent from Empires. Every man is looking for fair and struggle against tyranny. My goal is to create such conditions as King of Saudis did before. I have powerful weapon in my hand and this is truth. I know that they can imprison me or even kill but they cant kill my legacy. Herein Kyrgyzstan most of the people know about my idea and I started 5 years ago. And when they think about Blockchan they remember me - Daniiar CryptoPapa in Kyrgyzstan Smiley

It is certain that there is an opposition movement that would recognize your ideas. I suggest you try to get in touch with them, maybe they will give you some guidelines on what to do next. Leading politics is not as simple as it looks, most often honourable people have no place in it.
If you have the feeling that your life is in danger, it would probably be wise to contact an embassy of a country that has a strong influence in Kyrgyzstan. Maybe you can request political asylum. You can be present from a remote position as well, but still with your head on your shoulders.

Not to go into the details of your blockchain implementation proposal, but even if you overthrow the current dictator, expect that quite corrupt politicians will come after him, so they will not be very interested in blockchain either, where it is difficult to hide some facts. Maybe it will be more democratic and open, but most doors will certainly be closed to new ideas.
1733  Economy / Reputation / Re: Lending board liar - Timelord2067 on: June 12, 2023, 09:51:24 AM
I understand that DireWolf (I blocked him when he came into my thread and accused me like a kid for things I haven´t done) backing up TimeLord since they are the same shit but different names. (No i not saying its the same person only same shit a bully)
.
.
.
.
.
.
And I am a nice and fair in everything I do If you are nice to me I am more nice to you!

Do you understand how narcissistic and stupid this sounds? (I'll break my fingers if they don't write enough praise about me)
You're confusing me a bit. I looked at the "conflict" history between you and DireWolfM14, and I see that you were a little aggressive towards him even though he only asked legitimate questions about your lending business.
I would never expect such words and behaviour from a "nice" guy, with something like "We all are humans and think & like different, please respect your forum friends even if them don't share your thoughts. BE KIND." in signature.

I'm talking about people who come here hurling insults, even though they don't have a dog in the fight.  It really demonstrates the shallowness of their personality, and poor judgment of their own.  I can understand those who've been directly affected by Timelords actions taking things personally, but why does it seem that whenever an established member steps in shit, the weakest minds among us get giddy with the opportunity to insult him?

I'm not going to get into the counting of members, whether they're just unnecessary bullies or rightfully punching the table. But I agree that this drama is becoming unnecessary to "kick a man when he's down".
As everything that was needed has already been stated here, and some decisions have been made, I suggest @HedgeFx to close this topic. For now, it seems obvious that we will not move forward with further discussion here.

1735  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Duelbits, $500,000 scam alert. on: June 11, 2023, 11:50:37 AM
What I think odd on this case was activity of the OP balance history pattern. He keeps depositing that kind of all-in amount then withdraw once he got a small profit.

It looks quite like a gambling rage night.

Deposited 100k first, lost.
Deposited another 98k, lost.
Another 100k, lost.
Another 200k, won 500k.

Did the OP show his win/loss history here? only deposit/withdraw.
Is there a possibility that he wanted to mix tokens here using the casino? I see that he had a withdrawal on the same day so he would have deposited almost the same amount. I'm not sure what the wagering policy is at Duelbits, but it's understandable to me here if there is a concern for AML.
1736  Economy / Reputation / Re: rby distrust me without any reason on: June 11, 2023, 10:48:53 AM
Helena, The first thing you need to accept is that you don't take things like this too personally.

Now the funny thing rby distrust me, without any solid reason!

Although the trust lists are public and everyone can see them, it is still some kind of personal opinion of each member. For some reason, rby felt that your opinion did not match his understanding, so he decided to put you on his distrust list. What is a solid reason for you, does not have to be the same for me or rby, or any member here.

Quote
He didn't reach my PM to talk about the reason I distrust him, so I'd better to open a new thread and explain it here.

I have 200+ members on my ~list, I mostly added them for a good reason (at least for me) and I would really hate to get 200+ PMs and have to explain why that is.

Quote
Did I distrust or trust wrong user? did I leave an inappropriate feedback or flag? did I support or oppose a flag? show me.

It's your choice, you don't need to ask others to explain what your opinion is.

Quote
This is retaliation distrust, can this be said as abuse of trust list?

In most cases, no. Unless you think that no one should put you on their distrust list.
1737  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Bitswapnow - Buy, Sell & Cross Chain Swap 350+ Coins - No Sign Up Required on: June 11, 2023, 10:28:25 AM
Look almost identical as https://changenow.io/
Just other color.
The "box" where you fill the amount and stuff is 100% the same just different color.

Is https://changenow.io/ doing your exchanges?

Of course. It is a changenow.io widget, only integrated on the site. I believe he's just taking some referral profit here.
This is good to know if we look at trust from the side, changenow is still a better-known service. However, he is only an intermediary here and it can be very complicated and unsafe in some situations.

1738  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Nigerian SEC declare Ban on Binance Exchange activities. on: June 11, 2023, 10:06:38 AM
I'm not sure how much this is part of the SEC's "witch Binance &crypto hunt". Rather, I would say that the Nigerian government is very intent on controlling all money flows as much as possible. Binance is emphasized here only because of the current crisis with the SEC in the US.
I would consider this as an additional package of measures that the Nigerian government is implementing, and just a few months earlier they had another financial ban Nigerian banks suspend Int’l transactions on Naira visa debit card
It is obviously easier for them to suspend something than to adapt.
1739  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: After Bitcoin: Investor's Exodus to Virtual Money on: June 11, 2023, 09:50:52 AM
Do you have any title ideas? the website could be named after one of them. I want to put a poll up so people can vote. I can send you crypto to set up website. It's not that much to create a website but you can operate that link. Already trying to allocate control of the project. So, nobody has total control.

As far as I know, when finding the best solution for a business, a book in your case, it is ideal to look for a combination of a name and a free domain at the same time. Like your Vadermoon token, you certainly don't want to find that after you've set everything up, for example, Vadermoon is a well-known bike parts company.
Maybe you can try to ask ChatGPT for some title ideas.
1740  Economy / Reputation / Re: Don'ts of Trustlist about alts... on: June 11, 2023, 09:38:14 AM
Wrong for several reasons, I'm surprised that you have doubts about it at all.

For example, If your primary account was in the DT selection, it would automatically add your alt account minimum to DT2. In that case, you could influence the judgment of a member by giving him two DT feedback.

My questions now are;
  • If it is right for me to include my alt in my Trust list because I Trust the feedback my alt gives to other users, why is it not right for my alt to add me in his Trust list also because he trusts the feedback I leave in others profile?

Why would you stop at one alt account? You can create a whole network, 10 or 20 accounts, with which you could have a more significant influence in some scenarios.

Quote
Who has ever been punished because they included their alts and vice versa in the Trust list

Will adding all your accounts to the distrust list be considered a punishment? Seems like the most realistic response to that.

I'm curious, why do you need to leave the feedback from an alt account?[/list]
