By the way, the schedule notes that the game against the Thunder will also be broadcast on TNT. That's what I want to see, but you know, Spence is a durable fighter, he even goes toe to toe against Porter, and seems like nothing happened to him. Well, maybe Thurman is better and has good power as he also beat Porter. I'm expecting to see a toe to toe fight as these fighters are both aggressive, so we might likely see a KO here.
The last time Thurman got a KO was almost 10 years ago, against Jesús Soto Karass. After that, it was a series of UD, SDs and MDs and the (in)famous loss against Manny Pacquiao. Errol Spence Jr. on the other hand, knocked the senses out of Yordenis Ugás in his last fight. More than 75% of his wins have been in KO. Qatar didn't beat Argentina in the World Cup. They played really badly and it was evident that they don't have the quality to play against top teams of the world. They played four games in the group stage and managed to score only one goal against Senegal. But I see your point. Playing at home often makes players give an extra effort for the fans and then surprises can happen. But sadly that didn't work out for Qatar. This means Beterbiev will need to face Callum Smith (29-1, 21 KOs) next unless Bivol asks for an exception or if Artur vacates the WBC title. Since Beterbiev & Bivol are interested in fighting for the undisputed championship at 175, vacating the WBC belt is not an option. Although, this news is not yet a final because I think Bivol can somehow ask for an exception just like what is stated above but I don't think the pressure is lifted yet for the entire Russian nation, which includes Bivol. With that news, what we can do from now is to wait for further updates if Bivol will take his option to fight Arthur, for the fans, knowing that both champs are willing to take one another is something that will really delight them. Friends, I might disappoint you by saying that Bivol vs Beterbiev fight is not going to happen in nearest future. The reason is simple - Dmitri Bivol is representing Russia. In November 2022, Mauricio Sulaiman, world boxing council, has removed Russian and Belorussian boxer from ranking and dont allow them to participate. So either the war ends before their potential fight (not likely), or he will make an exception for Bivol (also not likely), or Bivol would have to change his passport. Probably both will have one more fight before they might possibly meet. I guess, that's the only thing left where Bivol have to change his nationality and post, by then, probably that's enough to convince the WBC to make the fight happen and so that the people will witness the much awaited unification between Bivol and Beterbiev. But that said, I guess Beterbiev will be fighting Callum Smith next because of this scenario as it's not easy on Bivol's side to transfer his residency. Also, I've read that the WBC is looking forward that Bob Arum will discuss this matter with Eddie Hear to make the Smith-Beterbiev fight. |

What about the Magic vs 76ers rematch? Anyone here still taking the Magic ML? I wouldn't bet my money on it, and I really don't think the Magic will be able to stay in sight on the score board tonight either, their win seem pretty much like fluke to me, ngl and losing that game if not anything more would serve as a wake up for the 76ers going into the game for tonight, Embiid got into some foul trouble that kept him in check for the previous game, and he should be stepping both feet on the gas pedal tonight, if he's available I'm definitely going to be banking on him for the props' over the Magic to cover a double digit spread alone the ML. I agree, everything went wrong from the beginning with Sixers that game that's why they can't get anything going. So I doubt that the Magic can make it two in a row at Wells Fargo, Embiid will come up strong in this game. Lots of game but I'm only betting on Memphis against Portland. Memphis is really confident at home, so they are going to be very difficult to beat. I'll go with them at -4.5. Memphis Grizzlies had to earn their last win against the Pacers and I agree that they must be feeling very confident at home, but then I really don't know if the Blazers can be underestimated with how they've also been playing lately, it sure would be one hell of game to watch, but I really just can't pick a side between both teams, I might check out for value in either the Overs or Unders and ride with what feels better between either option, I'm very much likely to just go with the Under 237.5 currently @ 1.80 Either way, it's still not that sure who will dominate the game because just like what you stated, the Blazers is not an easy team to defeat as they've been giving quite a good performance lately while the Grizz just came back from a long lose streak and both of them just had their first win after a loss. When that old version of Pacquiao fought Ugas, look what happened to him. Additionally, Errol Spence just brutally attacked and mauled Ugas into submission. Thurman should study the weaknesses of Spence in order to take advantage of them. The defense of Spence is questionable because he has been hit numerous times in his past fights. But the champion Spence is certainly at a higher level of the Pacquiao who fought Thurman.
Pacman was having a problem with his leg on that time, that's why he easily lose, also, Pacman does not have enough time to study the technique of Ugas, so we can't blame him he lose. Maybe if he could have waited for Spence, we might see a close fight, maybe Pacman could even beat Spence. Aside from that, Manny Pacquiao was already busy that time as if I remember it correctly, August was already a campaigning period especially for Pacquiao as he's also campaigning towards the presidential seat and maybe that's the reason why he came unprepared because he was having a hard time dividing his hours.
