In other words, her take from the posters was that it had some smell of scammyness.

Grass roots means something natural and spontaneous, from volunteers.  This is different from a professional, consistent corporate message.  The message isn't being formulated and delivered from a central source so there will be multiple approaches and varying levels of effectiveness.

I'm guessing the poster wasn't quoting verbatim from this:

I guess the poster was printed out on a home printer....

why would a coffee shop scam their customers?
customers loss 1.50$ and never goes back there again
coffee shop goes out of business

i think she should take some bitcoins with her next time shes in the area.

yes?
17205  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: August 08, 2012, 11:16:13 PM
If it does, oh well...I still think the market is over bought at the moment.

You short-term traders Wink

Short-term as in...I bought in march and just sold in August?

Bitcoin trading data only goes back less than 2 years ...so 6 months on a trade isn't "short-term".

Get your facts straight before making prejudgments.

Sounds short term to me. I won't be "all out" any time in the next decade.

Good for you. Hang tight because it's going to be a ride....for sure...

the market is overbought.

the 11$ short you made is a bold move that should pay off

Best Time To Sell In Over A Year

ya thats true but, why dose it feel like its the worst time to sell?

Well long-term I believe the trend is up. I think we are due for a correction. Given $10-$12 was previous resistance 1 year ago. That has come credence in market direction at least in the short-term (4 weeks or so).

i think a correction could happen anytime but it could still go up quite a bit b4 it happens.

I sold some, i will sell more if it just keeps on shooting up

Bye Bye Adam  Cheesy

I guess that move is a failed move....

LOL such entertainment in the bitcoin community  Cheesy

i just sold all my bitcoins

all of them ...  omg man .... do i buy it all back now? place bids now as i'm selling my last 3.48 coin?

jk!

I've sold all of mine at > $11.

If it keeps going up oh well for me. I think the price is quite high at the moment. My profit I've made in the past 5 months with going between LTC, BTC, and USD is upwards of 1000%. So if I can't buy cheap coins I'm still happy with my 1000% profit.

 Cheesy

you'll get your chance the and count yourself lucky 9.50 - 10 you should buy back

honestly i expect bitcoin to mature a hole lot in the few month.

next year or two or three, digital cash online will no long be vaperware, till will have been tried tested and true, it will begin its take over internet commerce. it will be recognized as a new type of global digital currency. new laws will be past.

things have changed
