Football needs to improve always and VAR is the right thing that happened to football. We see how much VAR has to react on matches and it is important that the mistake of refs is lowered to minimum. Plus with the new thing in the ball that means the var is improving
1742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it profitable to hedge/cashout bets before end of sport event? on: July 23, 2022, 09:50:16 PM
Cashout is profitable sometimes. Most of the people when making a parlay and have 1 match left to win their bet and they want at least half of the money they use a cashout so that they dont lose their winnings. Also sometimes odds can drop really low before match and if you betted on a bigger odd you can counter it and get instant money before match even.

Thiem success was put to an end in the semis, as he was dominated by Berrettini.

Same with the match between Ruud and Ramos Vinolas. Both Ruud and Berrettini won setting up the finals match. And they didn't give any chance against their opponents as they completely demolished them. I thought that it will be a close semis, but both won in 2 sets. Ruud even have 6-0 win against Ramos Vinolas. Berrettini 6-1 against Thiem.

Thiem is really coming back strong lately. After that injury and huge losing streak it looks like he is finally picking up pace. Semi final for him is a big achivement ,by the end of the year we might see him in a final or maybe win some of this ATP 250 tournaments

Newcastle are trying to sign Depay now but he doesn't seem to be eager to leave to join them. He expects to get offers from bigger teams to think of leaving Barcelona. Actually Barcelona seemed even eager to sell him below his market value but they wouldn't force him to find a team for himself of course. Depay can still be used in the team too. Maybe he would wait in the subs while Lewandowski is in the team. But when he finds the chance I think he can contribute well.

Not everything is about money so i understand if Depay wants to stay,he will play in the biggest club in the world. But if he wont play it would be smart for him to leave because his position is filled with a lot of quality players. If Newcastle gets him somehow it would be amazing deal for them
1745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: July 23, 2022, 09:11:47 PM
Actually I believe that Messi and Neymar both have left their brightest times behind. However PSG don't need their best ever performances now. They just need to see them being more productive than the previous season. This is very important to achieve the Champions League title now. The trio of Messi-Neymar-Mbappe can be even the best one in the world now. But if they don't play strongly all this wouldn't change anything. They would have another heartbreaking season in the CL.

The trio on paper is the best in the world currently. They can do really big things if they want too. Problem with Neymar is that he either dosent want to play or gets injured and that is the main problem for him. While Messi still needs time i guess to play at his elite level
1746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 23, 2022, 09:10:17 PM
Maybe it is not easy to make assumptions depending on the results of friendly matches. But I must also admit that Dortmund really need a striker now. Sebastien Haller's condition is very unfortunate and we don't know when he will be back. Luis Suarez is the biggest candidate to be signed according to rumours. This would be a smart move for Dortmund because he is a solid experienced striker even though his age is 35 now. I hope that they can finish the striker deal quickly because there is not much time left for the new season to start.

Suarez even at this age is an amazing striker and i think in Bundesliga he could score a lot of goals. If he dosent go to Dortmund he will probobly go back to Urugvay or some other country and that is near and play near his home. I think this can be the last big transfer for him

bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann was asked about the rumors surrounding english international striker Harry Kane... also the former german national player/coach and among others also former player for the spurs Jürgen Klinsmann gave his opinion

https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/harry-kane-too-quot-expensive-quot-for-bayern-munich-nagelsmann-describes-him-as-brilliant-player/view/news/408357

That would be something completely different than usual, a strong striker from the island to Germany could be really great if there was really something behind it. Then we can finally see what a good premier league striker can do in the Bundesliga. The comparison can then also be made with Haaland vs Kane.

This isnt impossible to happen. Kane already wanted to leave the club last season due to him being unhappy. But the leagues are o most starting around 10 days until they do and i think most of the teams are complete already. While Bayern Munich still needs a striker so i think anything can happen.

While Liverpool beat Leipzig 5-0 in the friendly match, 4 of the goals came from the new transfer Nunez. This is a great start for a new transfer. He has already shown that he will not embarrass those who trust him... We can say that the championship race in the English Premier League next year will be tougher. Things will not be as easy for Manchester City as they were last year.
After Nunez came on to replace Roberto Firmino in the second half, Liverpool playing pattern also changed and he managed to get many chances even though he was legible by the goalkeeper but his shot was quite strong. The race for title next season will be even more exciting if Liverpool have found the right strategy, and yeah not easy for Manchester City also must be more wary even though there is already Haaland.

Both players are strikers but both players play a different style in attack. Firmino is really good in assisting and helping out in the attack while Nunez is here to score 20+ goals and is just hear for goals. This season will be hard for all teams to win the title but eyes are on City and Liverpool.

The semi-finals of the tournament in Hamburg are taking place today. I think it is pretty clear that Alcaraz will reach the final. In the other semi-final match between Musetti and Cerúndolo I do not have a favourite. The odds are also very similar and therefore only small differences will surely decide victory and defeat.

Alcaraz might struggle a little with Molcan,Molcan this year improved a lot but still shouldnt be a problem for Alcaraz. The other duel will be intresting because i think both players are pretty equal. Cerundolo only might be in better form then Musetti in last couple of tournaments.

1751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: July 22, 2022, 09:46:02 PM
The VAR will certainly be used at the world championship in Qatar. The VAR should be a great added value, but there too it is the interpretation of how a referee and his assistant view a situation. You don't always have written rules for situations, even with a penalty for example. 50% of the VAR would give him and 50% would not. Honesty and accuracy is not guaranteed with the VAR and that is the main problem.
Despite everything, I think that the VAR will have a great added value at the World Cup.

Maybe accuracy isnt 100% like expected in some situations but its better with VAR them without it. The new thing that they added in the ball to detect automatic offside will be insane and i hope it will work. Still with VAR things need to be closely looked so there isnt any mistake.

Sweden - Belgium

1.26 - 5.40 - 10.00

I'm not sure it's worth betting with such low odds. Maybe it looks like easy money, but what if Belgium scores first and sits on the defensive (and at least get a draw in regular time)? Such a scenario is quite likely, even yesterday Austria attacked more than Germany at first and had a chance.
I did and I won this bet even though the odds weren't very good and I actually feel like I almost lost my money here, luckily in the last minute of extra time Linda Sembrant got my money back Cheesy
Now they have qualified and there is a strong enough opponent waiting for them in the Semi Finals.

Last minute goal for a lucky win for Sweden. Odds werent big but Sweden was an apsolute favorite and they showed it on the field with over 30+ shots, while Belgium had only 3 shots and not a single on target. Sweden will have a hard match against England in the semis
1753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: July 22, 2022, 07:53:31 PM
Nunez potential is not hiding at all,he has been phenomenal ever since his days at Benfica,he scored goals on regular basis.I love the way he plays and connects with  other players in the team.we all wait to see what he will be able to do in the premier league. He is a very good player,we know but premier league will test his abilities.

Of course pre-season games are different from official games. And maybe things are a little more difficult at first for Nunez. But I believe that the coach will work well with the player, for in some days he will be an incredible player.
Klopp was not careless in choosing Nunez to enter Liverpool, he first saw the track record and potential of Nunez and fortunately Nunez did not disappoint him and managed to score 4 goals in the pre-season match against Leipzig

Nunez deserves to be one of Liverpool's dangerous strikers, we'll see for sure there will be many surprises that he shows

Nunez is an amazing striker and i was thinking he might not play at start of the league but the way he is scoring he must play and is a huge signing for Liverpool so far. Liverpool looks really good this year even with Sadio Mane leaving the club. They will be in top 3 of the league for sure
1754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Russian Premier League 2022/23 Season on: July 22, 2022, 07:49:30 PM
We have already seen the first matches in the Russian Premiere League, and it is quite surprising to see the results in those matches. Currently Krylya Sovetov, PFC Sochi and CSKA Moscow lead the standings in the first to third positions.

What do you think? will Zenit and Spartak be able to win their next match? Zenit will face Krylya Sovetov while Spartak will face Krasnodar.

Zenit won easily and already made up for the draw in the first round. Spartak Moscow has a really difficult matchup against Krasnodar i think they might even lose more points in this match. CSKA should win against Sochi without much problems

By the way, did anyone watch this game yesterday: Elisabetta Cocciaretto - Caroline Garcia? Garcia was the clear favorite but lost the first set 0-6 (LOL) and then easily won the remaining two sets (LOOOOL). If I was looking for matches similar to fixed, then this would be one of the most obvious contenders. It turns out that the one who made a bet on the defeat of Garcia in the first set with such a score won at least x60  Roll Eyes

I dont think it was a fixed match it is just women tennis. Women tennis is just stupid some times. They dont have strong serves and breaks happen really often. If you watch other matches you will see it really often. But still a really big odd was won

Today I've read news that Osimhen is going to Bayern Munich (they actually is preparing an offer for Napoli, but Napoli management has always told that for less of 100m€ they wouldn't sell him). I really hope that Napoli

won't sell his best player, after Koulibaly, Insigne and Mertens it would be really a disaster !

Well if Osimhen leaves Napoli they will lose yet another huge player and will probobly not have any chance in the next season to win the title. Bayern Munich could get an amazing striker from this transfer but still didnt see that they gaved so much money for a player
1757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: taking out a loan for a sports bet (UPDATE) + fixed match on: July 22, 2022, 02:13:14 PM
I think this bet was pure luck or analysis from someone. Why i think this? Because if the bet was to be over 3 goals it should have been played as over 2.5 goals not over 3 incase of over 3 the bet would be considered as a void so this is why im sceptical. But the bet won and you got your money, but be carefull in the future

I'm so sorry about Haller, I hope he gets well soon. He was an important player who was paid quite a high wage, of course nothing is more important than health. But it must have been a very difficult situation for the team as well.
There will be a positive development in a short time and he will regain his health, it is also very bad that he had such a cancer at a young age Sad
It's a shame that Haller current condition, after Haaland departure surely Dortmund fans expect quite a lot of Haller right now, but unfortunately the testicular tumor he suffered forced him to undergo medical treatment and it looks like he will need quite a lot of time to rest, the league will start soon again and I think maybe Haller will miss his debut with dortmund in the League later, so it's better now dortmund find another striker to replace him before he fully recovers.

Really the bad news . Haller is at such a young stage of his life and his career is going really good and that he gets cancer is bad. Hopefully he receives his treatment and recovers fast so we can see him on the field. On the other hand Dortmund are in huge troubles because they dont know for how long they wont have a striker.

Cristiano Ronaldo's character is known as a player who is very ambitious to win various titles every season at the club he plays for and it's undeniable because it shows.
The Champions League was a strong reason behind reports the Portugal captain wanted to leave Old Trafford and Ronaldo was recently linked with Real Madrid.

Which is better if Cristiano Ronaldo chooses to stay at Old Trafford and work with Erik ten Hag next season because Manchester United does not play in the UCL or Manchester United only plays in the European League. For me it's good for both.

In my opinion, Cristiano Ronaldo's trophy cabinet collection as a football player is not complete because he has never won the UEFA Europa League title. To my knowledge, Ronaldo has not played in a second European competition since changing its name from the UEFA Cup to the UEFA Europe Legue. The last time he played in the competition was when he was named the UEFA Cup in the 2002-2003 season as a professional player with Sporting Lisbon.

That's why I think it will look good for both (Manchester United and Ronaldo) if he chooses to stay.
But I prefer Cristiano to stay with Manchester United next season. the reason is because Erik is a coach who is able to give a different feel from the previous manchester united coach. Erik has a coaching spirit that can give a title every season to his new club and that's my assessment of him. Well, Ronaldo support in the field is needed to realize the mission that Erik is aiming for. Instead of Cristiano leaving and willing to accept a lower salary than what he currently receives with Manchester United, it is better for him to choose to stay for next season with Manchester United. but we have to respect whatever ronaldo wishes in this summer all his decisions may have been decided a long time ago.

Cristiano Ronaldo is looking at it the otherway he dosent care about Manchester United he just wants to break records and do more in the champions league. If they were in the champions league he would stay in the club but now he wants to leave but no body wants to pay for his huge salary

Dani Alves, a former fullback for Barcelona, will continue his playing career in Mexico by joining Pumas.
Alves returned to Barcelona last year and played 14 LaLiga games for Xavi's team after joining the club in January. Alves is currently returning to North America to join Pumas of Liga MX. On Thursday, Pumas teased the signing on their official Twitter account.

Well i didnt expect Dani Alves to stay for such a little time in Barcelona. I dont know why Barcelona even signed him again it was just a waste of money and now he moves to Mexico to play football and most of us never heard about this club before
