1741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bonafi - Fights counterfeits using Blockchain and Crypto-Tag on: July 06, 2018, 02:55:57 PM
I was looking at possible competition in the area of fighting counterfeits. Is Authoreon doing something similar to you?
I'm not sure if they have a certain tag working on the NFC technology. It's like competition ... but other methods of struggle

You may be right here as I think they only provide badges to authorized sellers, meaning that you can in advance make sure the seller won't be selling counterfeits. Not sure if they also have something like tags.
Badges are not so secure method of authentication. They are easily subject to forgery. While crypto-tags work through records in the blockchain, which the producer himself makes

Well let me clarify that I am not really sure how their system is supposed to work. I agree that crypto-tags are a good concept.

The producer makes a note about the product in the blockchain. For example about iPhone. The record will contain data about the phone, serial number, production date, date of purchase and price. Buying this iPhone, you scan the crypto-tag on the packaging using Bonafi's special application, and you see on the screen the data that the manufacturer made himself. Nobody can make this record except for Apple. So, if you can't scan the tag, or it doesn't exist at all - most likely the device is counterfeit and it's better not to buy it.

I gave Apple and iPhone as an example.

With iPhones it is a bit easier though as these things have a serial number. How about other products like apparel?
1742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [DTX] Digital Ticks Token Sale - FIRST EVER COMMODITY - CRYPTO EXCHANGE on: July 06, 2018, 02:54:19 PM
You by the way could  visit the exhibition and personally communicate with the developers. If I'm not mistaken was in Cyprus. But it is already over, wait for the next one))

I think they are just as simple people as we are. Just have an interesting idea and organized a start-up. And since nothing is different from us with you)))

This may not be that far from the truth. A lot of people who are not programmers made in into crypto since the middle of last year. It's great to see how creative people are interns of blockchain solutions to real world problems.
1743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🚀[ANN][ICO][PRE-ICO] Aworker - Blockchain Platform for Recruitment on: July 03, 2018, 01:19:20 PM
I wonder how this platform will take into account the various diplomas, certificates and skills of its employees? It will be somehow realized, right?
Of course it will be. The system will take into account all possible skills of employees. This will be stored decentralized in the network of blockchain, will have confirmation and it will be impossible to somehow change without the participation of the system.

The point is exactly the blockchain as anything that has been put on the blockchain can't be falsified afterwards.
1744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CREDITS - New Blockchain for financial industry [OFFICIAL THREAD] on: July 03, 2018, 01:18:20 PM
when main-net ? I have held this coin after all the fud and bad comments and nasty remarks I think people like me deserve a nice return after all the insults from some bad people.

of course, you deserve a good profit if you are a supporter since the start, we will eventually get a good a profit, but we must not so hurry to make a profit the team has done a great job we must, first of all, promote Credits' platform and mainnet because this is their strong point beside the community support.

The main net will either be a game changer or a disappointment. I hope it's going to be the former, but for now it's just waiting until delivery.
1745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡⭐⭐ [ANN] DISPATCH LABS – Scalable smart-contract platform for infinite data on: July 03, 2018, 01:16:02 PM
I read about LABOR DISPATCH and was convinced by "Using our DAPoS consensus, high transaction throughput, no transaction fees." This is a great benefit for the user. I think this is the strength of the project to attract the investment community to support the project!

We need to wait until the platform is up and running. Several projects claim zero fees, high throughput and still sufficient decentralization, but so far none turned out to be working that way.
Yes, many projects offer no transaction fees and other such feature to the users but I think they have a bit of ineffective marketing strategy. Dispatch Labs has an expert marketing and development team which can attract a huge traffic to their platform and also earn huge profits as the platform is launched.

That's two positions in one sentence. You said they have an ineffective marketing strategy but an expert marketing team. Doesn't really match up Wink

💳 Fintech giant Mastercard was awarded several new blockchain patents this week: http://bit.ly/2tGKwXn

By the way, Mastercard has already joined the list of #Ubcoin partners to help us become a game-changer for the e-trade industry.
ITO is LIVE!

So it means that Ubcoin has the greater chance to be accepted by this MasterCard? Well anyway, the team just did the right thing to do and because of this, the team definitely were very busy dealing this new soon to be their partner.

Yes. The team really did their best to have a good partners of their project. And I guess, by having Mastercard on their side will difinitely gives more advatanges from the other competitors. Hopefully, this partnerships will results into a better chance to succeed and will bring more opportunities from the team.

Has the partnership with MasterCard officially been confirmed by MasterCard itself?
This is surely a big game changer for ubcoin projrct. Mastercard is known worldwide and it can bring a lot of investors as well to ubcoin project. Is credit payment also accepted in thier ico sale?

I would rather like to know from the team itself, or even better from MasterCard itself that this partnership is real.
1747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [WELL] - The decentralized global marketplace for healthcare on: July 03, 2018, 01:13:33 PM
Does anyone remember if the unsold tokens supposed to be burnt? Can't find this on the website. In case they will be burnt I'd prefer to see reduced total supply rather than sudden interest from the institutioan investors.
Have you tried to find this information in the white paper of the project?
Why do not you like the interest of institutional investors? Usually this increases the value of the project.
I didn't say I don't like but I'd prefer to see total supply reduction. As for institutional investors, this is good but I'm realistic looking at the current market.

I agree in such a market, such investors are almost invisible, in addition, the news went that some customers are withdrawing their funds and, therefore, there will be very few in the market. Let's see how the team will solve this problem, but the fact that it should be solved is one hundred percent.
Being fair, I don't think the team consider this a problem, they are developing a long term project and are focused on its progress. As for the contributes, I think that hold is most likely the most reasonable strategy at the moment.

If holding is affordable I would also say that it's the most reasonable strategy. Hard for those who find themselves in a situation where they have to sell. Hurts a lot right now.
1748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: July 03, 2018, 01:09:45 PM
Litecoin is for those who look for stability, but don’t expect it to grow at a high pace like Ethereum or Bitcoin.
You can’t invest in it expecting it to increase by 20 times.

It's most likely growing at the same pace as Bitcoin if Bitcoin increases. And if it turns out that Litecoin is more viable for everyday transactions in the long run, it could perhaps outperform Bitcoin over some period of time.

What are you talking about? It grew by almost 100x last year. Meaning it vastly outperformed Bitcoin.

I didn't imply the opposite with my comment. I said that it could outperform Bitcoin again although another 100x is a bit difficult to imagine. I wouldn't be against it for sure Wink

As I go thru the roadmap, I didn't find any ICO instead it is about their Ongoing 3rd-party Dapps support, team scaling, testnet live, technical development. This information is based on their Q2 of their roadmap. What i wanted to know is this really happening right now? And where does the team can get their funds?

I dont think they have the main chain up yet and if I'm not wrong they're offering the test net tokens atm to anyone who wants to test out the platform initially. But again I'm not entirely sure

You are right. We are offering testnet tokens to anyone who wants them.  Just create a wallet and join our Telegram Group and send a message to @Rstrong1 with your public key and he will send you test tokens.

https://t.me/dispatchlabs

http://wallet.dispatchlabs.io/
Wow! This is really great. The team Dispatch Labs team is really giving testnet tokens to everyone who want to test the platform. Well, this is a good move team to gain the attention of the crowd as well a an opportunity to try out by the crowd. Well I was just hoping that more people will reach out this information. Gladly that the Dispatch Labs team is very active and really doing the best they could.

It's problematic though that most people who claim to be interested in testing the platform eventually don't sign up. If you are willing to support this you should sign up for the testing period.

You have some funds and want to buy or sell? In what direction will the price go after listing in your opinion?
I think it's senseless to guess the direction of price movement for a short distance. This market has too much volatility.
But we can analyze the project, the market itself and draw conclusions about the general trend. It's impossible to guess the movement on a short distance, you right.
So true. Not all investors understand that investing is a long time and real work, not short-term actions.

Depends on the type of project you invest in, but for most platforms a lot of time is needed to do all the dev work until it's completely done.

Alright so in other words you will go forward with your project no matter what the outcome of this funding round?

Hi TiCeR,

Correct. We would prefer to have additional funding to bring on more developers so we can move down our roadmap a little quicker but we're not in a rush. We're actually scheduled to release the wallets and allow people to start their masternodes on Wednesday 6/27. It will be a busy week for us for sure. :-)

There's still time to get in on the presale if you'd like ;-) www.collegicoin.com/ccpresale1

Decent plan and also a pro for potential investors as they can rest assured this will be developed!

I think the title is a bit misleading because it sounds like they want to build an ordinary marketplace where you can just buy goods for crypto, which would not be innovative.

Current situation is very panic because all what happening without any big reason I think so price will be more higher after this phase. Crypto are here to stay and will remain for forever soon it will become more useful.

Saying without any big reason is a little bit negligent of reality. The big reason could be that it's not 100% clear what role blockchain will play in our daily lives, and that is indeed a huge reason.
1760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡⭐⭐ [ANN] DISPATCH LABS – Scalable smart-contract platform for infinite data on: June 25, 2018, 01:26:06 PM
I like when the project is occupied, but I do not see any updates about the company's bounty. Did they change the resolution?
It seems there were no announcements about the changes. So everything should remain the same as it was. Try to write directly to the mail developers, they can give an answer.
but I think it would be quite good if the developers still launched at least a small campaign of generosity. I think many supporters of the project would appreciate this update.
I don't think so. If you are an investors, you want to know anything about project. The points at here that, the team should have enough people for answer any question form us.
I do not understand what you meant? The fact that the team is not enough people who can answer our questions? Then they should take more administrators who will answer.
Maybe your reffering to additional mods and community manager who will be the face of the project to anyone who needs to seek information about this project.

I think additional mods and community managers are not necessary needed if team members of dispatch labs will be more active and responsive to all the concerns about the project, but if they cannot then additional admins are needed.

Communication is critical and I totally understand everyone who is concerned about lack of updates, but sometimes expectations for the frequency of updates is also too high. You can't just provide huge updates every 7-14 days.
