1741  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: July 05, 2016, 03:41:23 AM
Paper money will have a good image as is now, people cannot leave paper money because there is no any problem for the people to pay with paper money in their local stores etc.
Of course, how can it have a bad image when that is required by the government to use that. With paper money it would be easy for us to transact and it does not choose a certain group of people just to operate the transaction because it is easy to use it.
1742  Economy / Economics / Re: How would you double $100,000 safely? on: July 05, 2016, 03:38:07 AM
The only way double that amount is of course to invest where you can gain a percentage of profit. Don't expect to double the amount in a short period of time. It takes time to double. If you want more risky ventures, you can try gambling where you will expect to lose everything in a blink of an eye. Any form of investment has its own risks and the more risks, the more you can gain
Investment is risky because the outcome could be loss or income, so that would not qualify as safe in doubling the amount stated. Just keep it and put in the bank for a little interest.
If you want it to take 144 years for your $100,000 to double, sure. 0.550% is the typical interest rate that you'd be able to glean from a bank investment (at least in Canada), and as per the rule of 72 it would take roughly 144 years for you to double your investment - after it gets rapidly outpaced by inflation.

Investment is a far better tool, and would more of less be far, far more likely to show a decent return that would outpace inflation and maybe make a decent amount of money as well.
In our county I can find a bank that offers a time deposit with an interest of up to 5% per year, so to double your amount you need to save it to the bank for at least 20 years to double it.
1743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: July 05, 2016, 03:31:33 AM
As for me i do not think there is allot to earn with gambling the only thing you can earn is allot of luck and when you get that luck in the casino you will get allot of money but luck will not stay always at your side so do not think everyday it would not help.
That is true, do not trust your luck in gambling because it is a traitor to make your lose more, I read in the other thread that there was one who bet 0.005 and turns that money into more than 1 BTC but due to greed he end up losing all (capital and winnings).
1744  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: July 05, 2016, 03:26:15 AM
I have 3 btc with me at a moment and I am holding it really tight for the future, If price reaches between $800-$1000 then I will sell my 1 btc and rest 2 btc I will save for future.

Wow that's a lot of bitcoins you are holding it. I hope I could save that in the future. But as of now I'm just holding a few bitcoins.
And it is not reaching to 1 bitcoin.
With continues savings it would not be impossible for you to make it, you just need to discipline your self and make sure your earnings are properly appropriated to part for your savings and investment.
1745  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: July 04, 2016, 06:07:37 AM
On eatings or invest them back Grin
also buying several electronics with my funds like rasperry or something like this Wink
Good to hear, at least I did not see any gambling spending. Spending your bitcoins will certainly help the market to make the miners profitable in their venture while it is also advisable to save for the future to benefit from being a bitcoin enthusiast.
1746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: July 04, 2016, 06:03:02 AM
I have noticed so many players are just gambling for the sake of profits only. But majority of them loses most of the games eventually as they are not smart players.

So how should we gamble in a smart way so that we do not get more frustrations due to continuous losses?

It would be hypocrisy if we say we gamble for fun.  Fund is just another bonus of gambling.  The main reason we gamble because we wanted to win and take home the pot money.  But i believe there is a smart way to do it so we won't end up broke.  First we need to have self discipline, study probability (this is too hard though) and just bet what we can affort to lose.
It always depends on a certain person, regardless of our financial status if we are gambling for fun, we will really have a good time even if we lost and still if we win we will not consider it as profit as we will still spend it somehow.
You are only smart if you do not lose more than you can afford to, that is the basic and every gambler should follow that regardless of their financial status in life otherwise they will experience the worst case scenario in gambling.
1747  Other / Off-topic / Re: How kids can "earn" Bitcoin ? on: July 04, 2016, 05:58:06 AM
this is funny. i think kids below 14-15 years old is they don't care about making a money. You should guide your kid to her/him studies to learn about business and making money if someday is coming.
Exactly, kids are not interested in making money because all they do is just to ask for money from their parents, let us not pass our responsibilities to our minor kids.

1751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Off-Season on: July 04, 2016, 05:34:57 AM
I've read from a buzz source that Utah traded Trey Burke to the Wizards for a 2nd round pick. They could just add him to another trade deal for a much better option. A 2nd round pick is just way off.
From what I've read, that 2nd round pick won't be coming in until 2021. So essentially they are just trying to unload Trey Burke who doesn't seem to fit their style of play.

Your not kidding, that is completely to dump the kid.

2021? thats ridiculous so I have to think they knew he was leaving
anyway and not happy so just trying to get anything out of him
Regardless, but that is not the main concern in the offseason since trey burke is an ordinary player and nothing special to him, the hot issue here is to see where durant gonna land.

There were talks that durant might land in GSW.. that would be insaaaane! Making GSW to favs for the next season..but I hope that doesnt happen.. Its just good for the NBA entertainment wise.. Hope he goes to Lakers and they revamp the team a lil. Could be great.

If  durant want championship he can go to GSW but i think durant will take a hardtime to decide since he was landed his first career in OKC and surely he wants to give some championship rings before he retire but seems its very difficult for them to reach it since there are stronger opponents taking over the champ.
With only two choices, whether he will stay or leave for GSW, I would rather see him in the warriors to add more fire power of the offensive end. They will improve their 3 point shooting more.
1752  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: July 04, 2016, 05:05:39 AM
At my opinion only rich guys can say how to do this, cause if you are not rich it means that you can't give an advices to other people about it.

Even you are not rich you can still give advice on the things that you have read about the way to success of rich people.
They are also not that rich when they started out their business or jobs to become success.
You just need to work hard.
If only I have all the resources I needed I would be rich by now, some are rich already when they are born so it would be easy for them to make more richer while us who are not rich but has a good mind that would make us rich will be rich someday with continue perseverance to achieve our goal.
1753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When gambling makes you cry. on: July 04, 2016, 05:01:11 AM
It will make you cry when you loose it or after winning you lose that. If you winning it wont make you cry  Tongue
You will feel more pain in scenario that you win then suddenly lost than only lost. Its with repentance thinking that why i didnt withdraw the profit.
That is gambling my friend, you can lose and win and your main concern to be profitable is when your have more wins than your losses and of course that would only apply if you are not chasing your bets because the moment you do that you will be miserable once you experience one lose with big bets.
1754  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to collect BTC ?? on: July 04, 2016, 04:57:35 AM
If you're just starting out you should try faucetbox.com. Although it's not the best or efficient way to get bitcoins, it's good to have a feel at the start to own some bitcoins yourself.

Right, someone just starting his journey with bitcoin should just stick to faucets as he cannot do anything else and even if he tries to do something else he will end up confusing himself as he has no much knowledge about bitcoin.
I actually not recommend faucets not just it is a waste of time but you would not explore more and understand the real value of bitcoin, we should explore the benefits in using it than focusing your time solving or playing games for a little amount of bitcoin.
1755  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: July 04, 2016, 04:50:37 AM
better to invest because the investment can make money. while only save money will not produce anything. with an investment we can get more money again.

I don't think so, saving can make you money. How you are going to invest if you didn't saved money.
Saving is important if you are going to have an investment.
It is one of the best back up to your investments.
We can always invest even without savings because anytime we can ask for a loan as long as we have the collateral and we have the capacity to pay our loan, but that is not advisable in my opinion.
Some rich takes a loan to invest, so it could work, as long as you know how to calculate the risk in investing and take note banks takes loan from big banks to lend it out also.

I see, but still those rich people have their savings in able whenever they doesn't get profit from their investment.
It is the fund that they are going to use for paying their debts.
Investment is a big gamble and taking loans is one of the way to easily expand your business or increase your investment, but if you take a loan because you want to spend in bitcoins that is not good, take a loan only if you want to start your own business as you will be the one who manage it and the outcome would depend on your performance.
1756  Economy / Gambling / Re: SafeDICE.com ★ Bitcoin Dice ★ Monero ★ 0.5% Edge ★ Fast Cashout ★ Since 2014 on: July 04, 2016, 04:47:45 AM
I really don't understand why anyone invests in SD when it clearly has a fu**** up investment system and an absentee owner who doesn't respond to problems.

It wasnt that bad before the site lose major amount, owner was still quite active back then however ever since the site suffered those major lost then everything seems to be turning down lately perhaps owner has lost interest on the site. Back then it was a quite popular dice site, so anyone would invest in there

Not true....look at their profit over time. Certainly looks like the owner is withdrawing a large amount every now and then disguised as a win.

If you look from the 'bad' side then it is how it is however you can say with certainty that it was the owner not a legit player that actually won something from the site. I dont really see this as the owner pulling some tricks but dicesites.com totally shows that this site is still a hot stuff to some players https://dicesites.com/safedice

Massive frequent losses like that? Very unusual...
Really hard to trust a gambling sites, but anyway that is their main business to make profit and we cannot conclude yet if they are making a wrong move to suffer their investor. In my case, I have already withdrawn my money in this site and transferred it to moneypot.
1757  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: July 04, 2016, 03:48:43 AM
if I have stable bitcoin income, let says 0.5 per day, I quit my day job and give full time on bitcoin, but as of now saving bitcoin is my first priority then learning for some bitcoin investment to get my goal in the future.
I think that is too much to ask for a daily income, and you cannot make it working for bitcoins to be realistic, you will only have a chance to make that if you are rich already to have a capital for trading or short term investment.
1758  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: July 04, 2016, 03:45:47 AM
If bitcoin to be international currency, what do you think?
You can use it every where and anywhere, without exchange it.
And how to use transaction with it, if bitcoin just crypto currency?
How many people like with this thread?

Bitcoin is already an international currency though is is not formal since there are no declaration. But as a fact that any person around the globe can use bitcoin as long as he has an access to the internet, and thats what makes it an international currency. Though it is not an official legal tender but somehow you can buy things using bitcoin though only in small scale or there are limited people who accept bitcoins as an exchange to purchase of goods.
We can only called it formal when the government start to support bitcoins but regulating it, for now although we have a good numbers of adopters but it is still risky in the future as anytime it could collapse and loss our investments.
1759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When gambling makes you cry. on: July 04, 2016, 03:42:58 AM
I lost 5 btc thinking it would be statistically impossible to make a losing dice roll ten times in a row. For the record, you can, it's easy, and despite all the bankroll and Martingales you can apply to this, you must remember the house has the edge.

Get out while you are ahead. It's fleeting.
Wow that's really high. How much bet you put? I think a banroll like that can just give you a butter zone of .01 btc. That's what I think where you can gamble safely. More than would be really risky.

True, he did bet and huge losses. But I think he's doing a big bet because he has a lot of money, and can so when he loses that much she was already the BTC benefit from previous bets. So this would not be a problem if he gets a much bigger profit from betting that before or after getting a defeat
I don't think any strategy will win in dice games, the fact that is has a house advantage which would decreases your capability to win, you will still lose. Just consider yourself lucky when you win big but you can cannot do it all the time.
I think the very good advantage is play for the few minutes only and don't ever stay long 'cause that's the time house edge will catch you.
yeah gambling is only for short term you don't need to push your luck so much or you will lose all in one bet after trying hard to win.
but it is really hard to stop after getting some profit you will try to win more but after that you will get shocked by the lost you will get and lose all your fund.
That's why we should have a safe net where we should stop the time we already reached it. The only thing I think that is hard to do is when you play for the first time and lose on the early games then you want to stay longer but as what we said staying longer will make us lose.

Yes i agree with you. Gambling with provably fair is really risky for long run, it's better for you to make a target, how much profit per day you want and stop when you reach it.

yes, That's what you called limitations. you must know how much profit will you use in gambling everyday or every week, until you reach your goal and once you've reach that target need to stop and don't again if you are always loosing. unless you win for the 10th time. Smiley hahaha
Some professionals make their goal at the end of the season and they are betting on sports betting, I think that would be the best method as you can determined if you are really profitable in the long run.
