1741  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you be in favor of Gold or Bitcoin !! on: July 18, 2022, 12:53:42 PM
Quote
I like both. Gold has its physical uses and bitcoin is much more secure and easy to verify. You don't need a bag to carry bitcoin around and you don't need scales to be able to verify its real value.
On the other hand, you won't make pretty jewelry out of bitcoin and you won't get a good electrical connection with it. Gold lovers will have their points and bitcoin lovers will have theirs. To each their own.

I think, both Gold and Bitcoin are very good for anyone to invest his or her capital and have something good to achieve in the future. But I prefer Bitcoin investment than Gold investment, because during the pandemic many Gold investors were not happy about what they were experiencing from their investments which the income was not encouraging at the moment, but Bitcoin investors were very happ for the massive income they were receiving from their investment during the pandemic that took over 1 year and some months, which many investors are still ready to invest more money on Bitcoin than Gold in this season.

I invest on both asset but what the most preferred for me at the moment while bitcoin didn't get much adoption yet is gold because we know that price of it keep growing and we can safely say that this can be our safe heaven when crisis hits compare to bitcoin which can easily get affected by certain fuds that might happen on it. But its undeniable that many investors are happy if they are smart in their investments this is why we need to learn the fundamentals for us not to get caught by any fuds and can earn with bitcoins.
1742  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: July 18, 2022, 10:51:53 AM

1743  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 1xbit SCAMMED MY 6500 USD on: July 15, 2022, 12:09:26 PM
It's from 14 hours ago:

https://www.reuters.com/technology/doj-expected-file-antitrust-lawsuit-against-google-weeks-bloomberg-news-2022-07-14/

The U.S. Department of Justice is expected to file an antitrust lawsuit* against Alphabet Inc's (GOOGL.O) Google in weeks over its dominance in the online advertising market.

But that's for antitrust laws, not for advertising a scam site. I doubt the OP will receive anything if the lawsuit is successful..

Never heard someone reporting them to proper authorities and if OP do it then successfully put the people behind that 1xbit for sure this will be a big news on crypto gambling industry and hopefully OP will push this if he have plan to sue them because its good to teach some lesson to those scammers which continuously picking some victims on their platform.
1744  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜 — Predict the BTC price 🚀 250 mBTC prize pool on: July 15, 2022, 10:17:24 AM
Same here. Am not really a huge fan of DeFi projects myself after the whole ICO debacle which is why I tend to focus more on popular cryptocurrencies like BTC, LTC etc which have proven to be far more reliable in the short-term and the long-term.

This article does explain them well, but it doesn't mention some of the downsides associated with them.
It's because we know that coins like BTC, LTC, etc do have the potential to be the best in the future that we don't pay attention to the coins that don't really have any use for us. It's better to invest in a major project like BTC than to take a risk that we don't know how big the risk is.

It looks like we have to find out the disadvantages of other articles for ourselves. It will be difficult because every article only gives the good side instead of explaining the bad side.

This coins mentioned is good for long term investment since those selection already prove that they can pump hard compare to any other crypto's and the adoption rate is growing more bigger since there are so many people willing to use it on regular basis.

I don't really believe on any article since I believe that the writer always have bias on what he is writing in so I always prepare to do more research because this is much ideal thing than any methods we want to try.

1746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 14, 2022, 12:17:47 PM
^^ For sure, the commissioner is not going to be happy with that. Yes players have freedom, but in this case, and if I'm not mistaken, this is a super max contract being given to KD and then after a few years and he still has like 2 years in his contract, he suddenly request a trade? It is close to being disrespectful to Brooklyn, after emptying their pockets not just for him but for Irving as well, he will suddenly ditch the Nets because it's not going his way? Yeah, for sure new rules are going to be set in by the NBA to address this kind of scenario.
Obviously they are and rules really need to change regarding to that since NBA is not really good in that side because they give to much power to a player and this really hurt a lot on their organization if the same scenario like this will happen in future.

I wonder when this controversy stop and for sure the team where this two guys landed will encounter the same problem since they tolerate those kind of players.
1747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Need help and advice about crypto investment on: July 14, 2022, 10:51:58 AM
What are you looking for specifically, is it developers, marketers, parties that gain valuable content.etc?
What are your areas of work, mining, savings, solar energy? How to pay (in Bitcoin or another currency)
Have you studied the market situation because the time is not ideal for launching new projects?
I'm looking where I can invest money because real estate bussiness is not good anymore

Why not good that investment option cannot be replaced by any other investment because by looking at real estate industry they are totally doing fine even the pandemic hit globally. Maybe try to research more since for sure you can learn a lot of things in real estate if you are really willing to learn about it. Also the site you link here us obviously scam so I guess you better not to try because scammers offer promising profits so that they can scam people.
1748  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to make new all-time-highs within 24 months: Coinshares CSO on: July 13, 2022, 09:49:35 PM
I don't think, it will take a long time before the price will increase higher in the crypto market for those that bought at the lower price to start earning from their investment. The price will definitely hit $100k before the end of this year 2022 because many researchers has came to discover that the price will no longer take a long time before it will remain stable till the end of 2024 which is the seasons many long term investors are waiting for in the community.

To early to think that $100k would be reached by this year and actually we don't have good news to wait for this to happen. Maybe the same as what happen before where most of huge bull runs happen on halving this time maybe we can say that $100k will definitely reached since for sure once hype build up the price would shoot up again and for sure this event is the most awaited time of all people here.
1749  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: July 13, 2022, 12:30:08 PM
I wonder why Rollbit is not so active posting on their twitter account. Yes they're conducting twitter giveaways but there's a long interval like for weeks. We know Rollbit is already popular and trusted since many gamblers are playing on their site. But seeing their twitter account as not so active makes me think that they're too busy to give an update. A post showing a huge winning of their lucky players can attract more gamblers to play. What do you think about it?
Was also thinking the same and there is huge gap for their Twitter updates as they have around 90k community there waiting for updates and these giveaway. The last one was week ago for $250 so I guess but there are no big announcement from the team till now so we can expect they are working on something for us.

Provably they don't have huge announcement to produce and maybe they don't see yet the huge target audience they want on that platform that's why they not update in that medium. But for sure many people want to see some updates so if they could just post update on twitter from time to time for sure the number of their followers will grow more organically.
1750  Economy / Economics / Re: The current crypto bear could end the market. on: July 13, 2022, 11:04:34 AM
The price will never go to zero which will be the one reason to end the market. We can expect a massive dump because we experienced massive pump too up to this point. But there’s always new buyer sprouting and buying those cheap Bitcoin that been dump by weak hands and whales who take profit because Bitcoin is very valuable enough to be left on cheap price. I believe we will only see below 10K in just a very quick time because many traders will gonna rush to buy at that price level to change hands again those Bitcoin.
There are a lot of predictions from people that if the $10K happened it will be in a flash which is what I also believe but in this current market we cant categorize all the people that sell their holding as a weak hand because there are people who are into day trading and some are sold by miners who need to keep their mining activities up and working which is what the first dump we see in the market when the bear started.

We can call those people a weak hands if they sell without doing some counter measure like buying the dip and mostly these guys lose a lot of money then miss good opportunities brought up by these season, that's why mostly they threw some bad statement towards bitcoin or the whole crypto because they didn't experience good things upon facing up a bearish scenario.
1751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Threshold of Loss in Gambling on: July 12, 2022, 11:47:28 PM
We should not make things complicated. If we do gamble, make sure that be responsible at all times. I don't believe that a certain capital should only be used. It can't even be followed most of the time.
I'm not setting any threshold or what. That's not even necessary and helpful. As long as I think that something is going wrong now in the middle of my betting session, I will stop and take a break, maybe several hours or another day. Then come back later and will attempt to do another round.

I'm not also setting any threshold since every time I play I have different amount used to play so it will all depends on when I get bored playing. But I make sure I will not exceed 100% total amount of money brought playing since this is bad figures to lose already.

And I'm sure many people also don't have threshold since many people play just to have fun and if continuous playing will be stressful especially when they are in losing side for sure they quit immediately and rest.
Haha.
If patuloy paren ang nga scam projects sa pangloloko, panigurado mahihirapan na naman tayo for the real recognition, although ok ang Marcos admin kaya lang SEC paren ang magaaral nito at baka iprovide lang nila ang nga previous data especially sa mga scam incidents. Sa ngayon wala pa talagang legal way to use Bitcoin as collateral, matagal pa tayo sa ganitong scenario at this forum lang talaga ang option if nais mo icollateral ang btc mo.

1753  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never sell for a loss - is a Myth !! on: July 12, 2022, 12:02:29 PM
Certainly a myth and wouldn't follow such a bold statement, may be applicable for Bitcoin or Ethereum, but definitely not for altcoins. I sold Fantom at a loss a few months ago and if I hadn't, I would have lost more than 70% of my investment. The same thing goes for UST/Terra, I sold at $0.90 only for it to proceed and crash a few hours later.

You must be luck enough in that case because you sold UST right before the eternal collapse.
Even I had invested in Fantom but not really much. I haven't sold any of my coins as of now.
I don't really have an option now since it looks like we are at a bottom. Selling now would be a big mistake.

I have some tokens including Fantom stuck at my wallet because I also don't want to sell it at loss maybe I can afford to hold them for more longer years or even sleep it until next bull run came because its useless to sell at this point knowing the value of almost all of coins at tokens are so cheap. I can also say that taking decision to sell is just a mistake since its just a paper loss.
1754  Economy / Gambling / Re: KYC casino or no-KYC casino, but with no bonuses/no cashback? on: July 12, 2022, 10:45:09 AM
KYC casino , this is safe and always friendly ,because if you are not hiding anything then there is nothing that will hinder you from laying with KYC complying.

Nope not all because there are few untrusted casino requires KYC and its dangerous for us to comply on KYC requirements they ask because we might experience a serious problem we didn't encounter before, that's why I prefer legitimate big casinos when it comes on this discussion and always stick with them because we can be safe from any further exploits to happen. But eventhough we trust them we still need to be careful on other risk since for sure there will be an issue will float on casino we play and we need to prepare on that.
1755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Grand Lotto Winner on: July 11, 2022, 11:54:57 PM
Recently someone in our country just won a whopping 401Million Pesos(7+Million dollars) from our 6/55 Grand Lotto and another Winner of 5.9Million Pesos(105k Dollars) from our 6/42 Lotto draw. I am happy for these two winners but I am a little worried since the Lotto Organizer mentioned what city they are from. I hope that the Lotto organizer never mentions their names since these people who just had a life-changing experience could be in danger if they ever revealed their names.

here's the link if you are curious about the article https://www.pna.gov.ph/articles/1178611

There's nothing to get worried about mentioning the city since its hard for anyone who think about bad things to locate the guy since the city is huge and besides the organizer hides the name of the winner so he's fine and for sure lying up on his bed comfortably with millions of pesos.

Also imagine how huge the amount won by a person and for sure he's future is now totally secured.
1756  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Many Crypto Projects Will Die on: July 11, 2022, 11:12:10 PM
Specialists believe that Bitcoin and good ecosystem projects will survive the crypto winter and grow, but many won't make it. Some fiat money will also die.
https://www.vanticatrading.com/post/many-crypto-projects-will-die

This is not surprising guess actually since there are so many shit token listed on various exchange and most provably their dev will secure their pockets in bear market season because they want to earn and abandon their project. This normal cycle always happen that's why we need to be more careful upon choosing projects and sell always when we are in bullish side.
1757  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Play to Earn Game on: July 11, 2022, 10:33:08 PM
try checking this thread MIR4 NFT game?.

1758  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜 — Predict the BTC price 🚀 250 mBTC prize pool on: July 11, 2022, 12:30:53 PM
Hey guys,

How does the predicting go?
The BTC price is a little over €20K at the moment. What do you think it will be on July 28?
There were some green candles but now again they have turned red once again so the market is floating in between the same range from few days like we were facing in last month when they were flowing in $45-48k range and now it's $19k-$21k price levels.

But these prediction contest are good and fun way to have the speculation game for bitcoin and we still have more than two weeks to reach the final stage of prices for the contest but will see and thanks @Karl for bringing these up Wink

The current market condition what makes the prediction game more exciting because we don't know what will be the trajectory of the market to come at the contest deadline and might we might see bullish or bearish so for sure many people who join is now frequently monitoring the market.

Good to see that bitcasino actively running this prediction contest since this could add up the fun while picking some games to play here.
1759  Economy / Economics / Re: The current crypto bear could end the market. on: July 10, 2022, 11:57:49 PM
The bear market could end at any moment but it could also last for another year. Nothing is set in stone here.
It's easy to turn BTC price up side down because of low market liquidity even further decreased by large outflows from exchanges. It seems that we're at record all time low of coins held on exchanges which means that if a big enough buyer shows up the price will skyrocket. Will he show up though?

I don't think nobody would buy in bulk to skyrocket the price as we are in the middle of the Summer. It's not possible to go down too much because people are greedy to buy more coins for cheap prices. The only thing needed for this bear market to end is time and we have plenty. Just wait one more year or two and everything will be alright again.

A common excuse as to why people Don't use BTC cryptocurrencies for their everyday purchases is Because it’s not really accepted anywhere.

There are a few elective techniques for getting to digital currency. For instance, with stages like Debit Card and Shopify, online installment joining or direct administration with a blockchain network empowers shopping

I don't really understand why we still don't have a big company that support crypto currency payments. They could be the biggest competitor to ebay etc. if that happens. I would love to use that, it's a big need for me. As I still have to deal with crypto > bank > credit card payment and all these have stupid fees. Instead of that I should shop with one click with my coins. Hopefully soon there will be a site or shopping system that mediate this.

For sure the data's of market crashes what makes those big company turn off accepting crypto on their payment system since maybe they consider this because they don't want to lose a lot of money once bear market season hit. Maybe if market still act like this maybe we cannot see major processors or platforms accept this.
1760  Local / Pilipinas / Re: WORTH IT PA BA? on: July 10, 2022, 11:05:29 PM

You can check here @OP Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns
