From 90 days,  warranty was not decrease to 60 days , was increased to 60 days. What so hard to understand ?

Well that clears it up nicely...
1742  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [FAILED]Butterfly Labs 30 day countdown to the end of September on: November 17, 2013, 12:50:17 PM
You seem to fail to see they've cleared the bigest hurdle... Mar/Apr.  They'll be done LONG before March 2014... heck, they'll even be done before the end of the year.  I'll bet you 1BTC right now that they'll be done before Dec 15th.

You wait until they're almost done with the backlog, then you offer a very lenient date. Josh has already stated they'll be finished 10 days before that date. Wow, such a risky bet for you!

Where was your bet when they promised clearing pre-orders in Aug?
Where was your bet when they promised clearing pre-orders in Sep?
Where was your bet when they promised clearing pre-orders in Oct?

I'll offer you a better bet.

November / December    Initial Shipping

They're still advertising a November shipping date. I'll bet you 10 BTC they don't ship a Monarch in November.

Well they don't give a year so be careful, BFL might Luke-Jr you!!!!!  Watch out November/December 2014 hash rate to da moon from all the Monarchs getting shipped!
1743  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 21e6, LLC - Secretive ASIC manufacturer that raised $5 million on: November 16, 2013, 10:52:26 PM
it's hitting the saturation point since bitcoins is a "zero sum" game.
meaning that another company takes away from a limited amount of coins.
price of bitcoins has to be much higher to sustain all these companies long term.

there's already 10+ companies maybe 15 involved with asics. the pie is 100% - how much can they each control?

Coins are limited, but customers are not.  Manufactures are not mining coins, they're selling machines.  Their customer base can increase as long as there is enough newbs willing to mine at a BTC loss.  With the increase in BTC price and popularity it seems the pie is increasing quite nicely for the manufacture's.

Moral of the story, hoard, hoarding is the new mining for Joe six pack!

Edit:  Sorry re-read and it looks like you meant self mining manufacture's so in that case ya they can all enjoy the race to the bottom.
1744  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL Monarch update on: November 16, 2013, 10:37:28 PM

The new BitLicenses that ASIC developers in the US will have to abide by will surely jack up hardware costs as well.

America does not want you to buy American.

Can you provide more info on BitLicenses?  I've yet to hear about it.  Link to the info would be grand.  I am having trouble seeing why someone couldn't just design and sell a chip or miner outside of any "agency".  What bite would they have if a manufacture told them to pound salt?
1745  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [FAILED]Butterfly Labs 30 day countdown to the end of September on: November 16, 2013, 01:28:22 PM

"Close" only counts in horseshoes, when using shotguns or nuclear weapons.

Anything else is a complete failure.

My $.02.

Wink

Lol, I remember my old man saying, "close only counts in horseshoes, hand grenades and shit fights!"
1746  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Yifu now working with "famed banking family" to help government track addresses on: November 15, 2013, 02:33:12 AM
Y I F U already fucked a good percentage of the mining community, he might as well fuck everyone now too I guess...  JFC what a stupid idea.
1747  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [FAILED]Butterfly Labs 30 day countdown to the end of September on: November 15, 2013, 02:05:10 AM
I dont recall Josh ever using that tone before. If you wouldnt know him any better, you might even think he is sincere. Makes me wonder, what changed? Are they finally getting some heat from the FTC or something?

SALES...........STOPPED

You mean that somehow the mantra of fire your customers is not keeping the sales funnel full?Huh  I guess coming on BTC talk and being a cunt is not drumming up enough pre orders, maybe he should try harder!
1748  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow announces 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.49/Ghash on: November 10, 2013, 02:12:41 PM
the only problem now is black arrow shop does not accept credit card & no paypal , this is the most common payment plaform and would like to make a big order
anybody know if they have soon other payment platform please ?

thx you

Don't hold your breath bro.  Most manufacture's don't like shouldering the risk of Paypal freezing their assets.

FTFY.

Interesting how the rest of the world does business daily without PP freezing their assets.  Interesting how a company like KNC (or resellers like WTCR) can offer and use PP/CC services but no one else can.  Perhaps a direct merchant CC account would bypass PP if they're so damn awful.  If the major manufactures (or resellers) were building and shipping like the rest of the world their would be no issue with using PP or CC.  It's because manufacture's have refused refunds to PP clients on a large scale (I'm looking directly at you BFL) and because of the extremely long pre-order scheme that the majority of manufacture's have that PP have taken notice of the BTC vendors.
1749  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: November 10, 2013, 01:30:50 PM
Every early august customer should demand HF a full refund. They have no reason not to. They keep promising that the refund will be BTC, right? We will see how fake that was.

They still aren't getting back to me on this issue.

Here is a red flag.

Just because they claim in their ToS that refunds can't happen until Dec 13st 2013 doesnt mean they dont have to refund a customer by law (at least in the U.S.) if indeed a customer makes a refund request..

And as we have seen abundantly with BFL if the company sticks to its policy of not providing refunds when requested (legal or not) it will be up to the investomer to force the issue.  With HF only accepting BTC and wire xfer, you really only have one option to force them, court.  The logistics and costs associated with this make for a "high barrier of entry" for lack of a better term.

Don't hold your breath bro.  Most manufacture's don't like shouldering the risk (or providing consumer protection) they would much rather the investomer shoulder the majority of the risk.  They can not shift the bulk of risk from them to you with a reversible payment method.

It's too bad someone in the community can't reach out to him for some mentorship on how to right a completely fucked up situation.  Yifu?

Tom would be a much better mentor than Yifu in this case.  If Tom was running this show he would have refunded everyone is USD on this run up and walked away with a hefty profit!  TH looks like they could have hit a miracle card on the river but still don't know the river card gave him the nuts!!!

I think Amir would do that, but somehow he is not able to. However this is the best solution to work out for everyone. While he can be sued, someone can take a lot money from him, but for the BTC customers won't left anything then. It has to be someone that is in contact with Amir and settle things right!

Are you guys forgetting about Jason? He was/is the ceo, he is probably just as liable IMHO.

I personally don't know the management or ownership structure of what I am assuming is a privately held LLC.  I was speaking of the company and not an individual/s within the organization.

Yesterday, I sued Terrahash for $10,000 in small claims court in Santa Clara County. A friend also initiated a small claims action against Amir and Terrahash for $10,000.  It only cost $100 to file the suit un small claims court Grin.  I am confident that I will prevail.  Amir, if you are reading this you will find my phone number on your office door.  You already know that you will lose in court.

Before filing I went to Terrahash's office but Amir was not there. Taped on the door of Terrahash's office was a 4 day eviction notice  from the landlord for failure to pay $1050 in rent (I have a picture of the eviction notice).  It was obvious that Amir has been sleeping in the office.  Clothes were heaped everywhere and there was a couch in the office that was not there before.  Someone else discovered that Amir has been sleeping in his office at night, probably trying to duck people who are looking for him, and they served him on 11/04 with a lawsuit for fraud ( Case Number 1-13-CV-254284). Mail visible through the front door including a letter from Paypal to Terrahash (I have a picture of the letter)  LOL..  The components were not in the office but I can confirm they did indeed exist because I saw them on previous visits to Terrahash.

Amir is digging himself a very deep hole.   Instead of paying back everyone owed a refund, Amir, seems  hiding.  Terrahash will not be able to dissolve the company if there are unsettled legal claims against the company.  If Terrahash files for chapter 7 bankruptcy the company will have to provide financial statements and account for the Bitcoin that was refunded by Yifu.  If Amir tries to run with the Bitcoin he will open himself up to criminal prosecution by the Santa Clara District Attorney's office for Fraud.  The noose is tightening on Amir.  Fuck a 50% refund.  I'm owed money and I want it back now.

Many of you are owed refunds by Terrahash.  Contact the Santa Clara County District Attorney's office and file a complaint.  See:  http://www.sccgov.org/sites/da/prosecution/DistrictAttorneyDepartments/Pages/Consumerprotectionunit.aspx
If enough people owed a refund start calling the District Attorney's office they will take action.  Protect your rights, get your money back, pick up the phone and call the District Attorney's office:

Mediation and Enforcement
Consumer Protection Div.
70 W. Hedding St., West Wing
San Jose, CA 95110
Email: consumer_mediation@da.sccgov.org
Phone: (408) 792-2880

A hard copy claim form is here:
http://www.sccgov.org/sites/da/prosecution/DistrictAttorneyDepartments/Documents/DA_ConsumerComplaintForm-paper.pdf

You may also file a lawsuit against Terrahash in Santa Clara County small claims court. See:  http://www.scscourt.org/court_divisions/small_claims/small_claims_home.shtml
Your lawsuit will be heard by the court about 30 days from the date you file.

AMIR, IN THE EVENT YOU READ THIS:
You assured me on multiple occasions that I would receive a full refund, the last time in front of a witness (my wife).  I've made a good faith effort to work with you.  I warned you that if you did not refund 100% of my order I would sue to recover my money.  Any asset that you have I am coming after.  Any cars, cash, BTC, property, I will put a lien on.  I am going to get my money back.  I will dog you until you pay me, count on it.   You now have two more cases pending against you.  Give me my money now or I'll see you in court.

/Golf clap!  You sir have finally figured out the only way to communicate with TH now is through the legal system.

I am very surprised that a group of TH victims have not started to work together to retain legal counsel and pursue this matter in what appears to be the only way left to put any pressure on TH what so ever. I presume TH is happy it's not happening as well...

I have had the opportunity to look into the eyes of the principals involved as well as shake their hands.  I have worked with them closely for the past two weeks.  I believe that these people will make a full faith effort to deliver on their promises. Whether or not they are actually able to deliver working units by November, I can’t absolutely guarantee.  But, I believe that they have the talent and work ethic to make that a distinct reality.

Could you explain which of these two statements made by you is actually the correct one?

So basically at the beginning you believed they had the talent to do it but now it's delayed it's to be expected?  You make a positive assertion that you believe they can do something then when they don't you tell people to grow up a delay is expected?  You wonder why people question you?

You were paid to endorse their product, the company you endorsed failed to meet their stated timeline, you and HF deserve all the ire that is directed at you because YOU guys brought it on yourselves.

When oh when for the love of god will you fucking nerds stop listening to these godamn manufacture's that only want you to fund their start up for 0% equity!

i like how you missed the part that i've highlighted in red.  looks like i was prescient from day 1 of that post.

it's ppl like you, who impulsively react and attack other ppl w/o understanding what's involved in a complex project like this that bring so much animosity to the mining arena.  it's sad.

I didn't miss anything champ...  HF estimation was late October (20th - 30th?) and your statement was by November.  If you add the two up you get end of Oct or by Nov, not by end of November as you seem to imply now.  Really if what you meant was I am confident they will deliver at worst a month late then you should have said exactly that and not played into the end of Oct saying by Nov.  You know who you remind me of when you use bullshit double talk, Inaba.  I suggest you bring much more animosity to the mining arena by using Inaba speak to lure investomers into your scheme than a simple poster like myself.
1755  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: October 23, 2013, 11:42:01 PM
If TH would refund us the BTC for just the chips that they got from Avalon we all would be paid in full due to the current BTC price.  I really hope they do that, they can keep whatever from the parts and from people that don't respond but give back what you got from avalon which for each K64 would be 5BTC, 5BTC now is over $1,000 so we would not be out any money.

They could then declare bankrupt and say screw you to the creditors.

This is exactly the way bASIC made it out alive (and in my estimation made a really NICE profit from it as well).

If you don't remember the bASIC story it was very interesting!  He, in a nut shell took all kinds of BTC in pre-orders (at about the same time BFL started taking pre-orders) claiming he was going to make an ASIC miner (as he already had a little FPGA company).  After a few months it was clear he didn't have anything done (let alone the skill set required to have chip manufactured) all this right around the time of the first really big run up in BTC price.  He then proceeded to refund everyone their money, in BTC at CURRENT BTC value, claiming as many manufactures have that the units were priced in USD so you would get an equivalent USD refund in BTC at the current exchange rate.  I never saw a reasonable estimate but it appeared as though he took in thousands of BTC at a very low value (low single digits IIRC) and then sent back much less BTC for refunds but the coins were worth a lot more (3 digits).  I never saw an explanation for where those coins went either, I have always assumed he kept them, and if he sold them at or near the top of the last bubble he could have made A LOT of fiat.  Hell if I was asked to make a guess I would estimate he made several hundred thousand if he did actually keep all those extra BTC.

Edit: If TH can pull off a bASIC they will have just hit their miracle one outter on the river with this big run up.
1756  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: October 23, 2013, 11:26:53 PM
I have 12 BJ orders, also 12 Upgrades. Up until 4 days ago, I kept getting told that we were on schedule.. Then everyone went silent until this morning with the bad news.

Just think of all the coins you'd have if you had bought bitcoins instead of pre-orders.

Yeah like we all knew BTC was going to double.
Did you suspect it was going to fall?  If so did you sell your coins?

LOL no kidding eh!  If you're not bullish on BTC what in the fuck are you doing mining!!

1758  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Butterfly Labs New 600GH "Mining Card" - RED FLAGS?!?! on: October 22, 2013, 03:22:32 AM
People need to keep filing BBB complaints and log complaints at the local and state level where BFL is based. There are many, but more need to pile in. Especially if you've received a fully paid order through transfer, where they tack on extra costs/fees and file it under "shipping" or "handling".

There was a post around the middle of September, maybe early September (can't remember which thread or who posted it) by someone who seemed to talk with the BBB via email about BF Labs, where the BBB responded.  I'm paraphrasing from memory but basically the BBB informed the person that they had communicated with BFL and that BFL had stated they expect all back orders to ship by end of September and that the BBB wasn't going to do anything until after the end of September.  Wish I could find that post as it had the email in it, does anyone else remember that post?  Would be nice to inform the BBB of BFL's unsuccessful completion of back orders by their estimated time line.

All in all though ya the BBB is an absolute joke, why it is still around is beyond me.  It is very unrealistic to expect a "toothless" organization like the BBB to be able to anyfuckingthing!!!

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=283853.msg3037771#msg3037771

Thanks man, that wasn't actually the one I was thinking of though, damn I wish I could find it.  The one I am thinking of had the actual response from the BBB and it basically said, ya we heard your complaint ya we talked to BF Labs and we aren't going to pursue this any further until after end of September because that is when BF Labs said their back orders would be filled.  It was a post in a BFL thread, I don't remember it being it's own thread.

Damn you sir are good, that's the one!!  Now if only someone else would follow up with the KC BBB I wouldn't have to do anything  Cool

You must be thirsty after that hard work, may I suggest a nice tall ice cold glass of refreshing Raspberry  ......  (OH YA!!!)
