Perhaps it would be an idea to release the wallet 12-24 hours before POW is over?
If block generation is supposed to be POS-driven when POW is over, but very few coins are mature because all funds are fresh out of pools, the block generation is going to be very slow for many hours. In worst case we could be forced into a situation where a hard-fork-new-wallet-and-extended-POW is necessary to control the wild-forks.
Releasing the wallet now can hardly do any harm as competing pools would need a lot of miners to find any blocks at all and very few miners would want to reconfigure to get to a pool with same or higher fees. Yes, multipools and big-shark-rigrenters would get access and they could mine-to-dump during the last few hours, but that would also increase difficulty towards the end which is appropriate on the last day and would increase attention just when the coin is about to get accepted on a real exchange. Remember, there are no major x11/x13 coin releases during the next few days.
We could be on Bittrex already, when POS starts?
I think this is a good idea. However, in order to avoid potential abuse of the network I think it is better if we do it gradually. Looking what happened to FlashCoin which had only 12 hours of mining, I think there is reason to be concerned about network abuse if we release the source now. I will start to distribute windows wallet to those that PM me and who have posted in this thread. If you want to receive windows wallet, please, PM me. PMed, thx

Question to the developer: If you release the source to Bittrex and Bittrex decide to list the coin, are we going to be able to withdraw coins from your pools to Bittrex directly?
if dev release the source code, there will be a wallet as well

we are thinking of limiting account to 1 worker. So we can delete all workers except 1 for every account and prevent creating more then 1 worker per account. 50 Hh/s limit per worker will persist
What do you guys think?
50 mh/s per ip would limit hash more imo, but 1 worker per account would be another barrier. you can't limit per ip, since there are people behind proxy, or dont have public IP, their IP will use their ISP public IP, and then limiting per IP will make betarigs.com, leaserigs, nicehash.com not operational, there are small miner who dont have huge mining farm rent rigs from there, its just injustice for small miners That was my point. It limits rental hash. To be honest, I'm renting a bunch of hash to mine this with many workers. If he limits it 1 per account, I could just create more accounts. yup more account cant be limited, but you need an effort to register an account for each 50 mhs, and the stat on pool will looks better , no one more than 50 mhs

front-end of scv.minerals.pro is dead, dev are implementing IP filter?

From my perspective, it's just another P&D coin, just disguised
"No Premine"... forced mining on dev's pools. 1% premine....with the potential of the dev taking them all once it gets listed somewhere.
dev will take 1% of PoW coins in 7 days, which is 30k minerals, thats the amount of premine which is used for bounty or something, its reasonable amount I personally don't think 1% is reasonable, but that's subjective. The point is it's being advertised as a 0% premine, which is just semantics at best. A premine by any other name... its name is not "premine" but mining fee, just like when u sign up to pool, but the problem here is that mining fee are solely goes to dev, and pool operator does not given this oppurtunity

the only solution is to limit the total hash, not ip or worker, who come late simply can't mine
because even with ip ban, they may use proxy, vpn, others crap
if you limit total network hash, there is a possibility only big miners farm that can enter, the solution is to use new algorithm

1. 1% pool fee is 1% premine, because people have no choice, such as supernova pool which have 0 fee 2. the limit per worker of 50M Hash doesn't do the job as advertised at all, big farms are still mining it.
1. agree 2. no its not big farms, its rigs renters, you need to see this, and notice the hashrate cap at 50 MH/s http://pasteboard.co/JIaGsJD.pngI don't see why it is not big farms, and look at below, there is no cap at all at 50 MH/s per account, the limit is for per worker, while big farm can set up a tons of workers for a single account, or even setup multiple accounts so the conclusion is this coins is no different with other PoW/PoS coins. Limit those Hashrates !

you can set up multiple workers, and multiple account, and shoot from different IP too just by using nicehash.com

They is so many rumours this is one big well organised scam.
Where? IRC chat, They is quite a few people saying this is the new breed of scam attempts. I guess only time will tell. No exchanges will add this coin until the source code has been released and reviewed. The source code will be given to the exchanges and any trusted third-party. Do you have a suggestion who might be a good candidate to review the source code? andreas m. antonopolous
